564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: January 27, 2018, 02:17:35 AM
My Pros/Cons on Binance:

+ Stable and usable platform despite recent huge registration increase
+ High volumes so most pairs are very liquid and very close from CoinMarketCap prices
+ Low Fees (espacially if you pay fees in BNB)
+ No registration verification below 2BTC  / 24h

= UI ergonomy is average

- Binance Limited registration jurisdiction is not clearly mentioned: it seems it is Shanghai and not Hong-Kong (which should be a red flag in my mind)
- Impossible to easily track Gain and Loss
- No PGP keys for mail exchange

Binance

566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple wallet??? on: December 14, 2017, 09:17:24 PM
is it possible to recover ripple account created in 2014 ? i have address and priv.key ...
in 2014 i got some xrp for BOINC programm, but https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/ says "account not found"

Normally if you still have your public/private key pair it should work. I was part of an initial bounty program and I was able to recover
Also you can try here depending on what info you still have:

community pool set to 0.5% fee, currently about 10% of XUN hash
Guys, I think we need to share the love by sending a bit more hash power to support the community pool at http://ultranote.cryptonight.me/

Pro: lower fee than the official pool
Con: Due to current lower hashrate = slower block mine time (but hope that can be mitigated by spreading the XUN love)  Wink

...oh, and as a XUN supporter, I also wish for XUN to be listed on more exchanges than just the one. Therefore encourage you guys to support XUN and please use the links below to vote for XUN getting listed on another 2 exchanges (whilst also leaving a comment if possible):

Thanks.

Hi, Sorry but I just tried and I cannot connect to this pool while my command line is perfectly working on the official pool (I just switched the address and port numbers)
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best altcoin exchange? on: November 30, 2017, 04:58:33 PM
Hi,

Just had a look at Binance website which is mentioned as an interesting exchange and I am not able to find any license info they are refering to in the terms "Please refer to the company and license information at the bottom of the website of Binance for the information regarding the operator of Binance."

Does someone know under which country they are registered and regulated?

Website looks very pro but it is a bit scarry to not have this basic info easily available

Thanks
