561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 30, 2023, 02:21:06 PM
How will you minimize the risk when all your assets are still in crypto?  don't forget that the entire market depends on the movement of bitcoin, if bitcoin falls then no altcoin can rise.  so do you think allocating 30% of your capital to altcoins can reduce your risk, or will it increase your risk of loss because altcoins will probably die, but bitcoin will not?  don't put all your eggs in one basket, diversifying to minimize risk is only true when you invest in non-crypto assets.

Maybe he only puts money into assets like stablecoins so he thinks there won't be too much risk for him, but if he puts 30% of his money into altcoins and the rest into other cryptos, I think it's still risky and could even be too much because of altcoins It could die and disappear from the market because of inadequate development. Meanwhile, Bitcoin can still provide recovery and price improvements in the market without having to fear loss, although you still need patience to wait for this.

The advice not to put eggs or money in one basket, for example, is a very wise thing because everyone who wants to become a reliable investor needs to know several good investments so they can put money in several types of investments so they don't just focus on one type, such as crypto. So if you want to minimize risk, it's better not to choose altcoins because it is a very unsuitable place and even the opposite of what we want in an effort to minimize risk.

563  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 29, 2023, 08:52:20 PM
When something is built slowly and over time, its reliability will increase. If sudden investment makes large amount of money then it may not be a good investment. Investing and gambling are not the same. Even if the investment is small, it can be profitable if it is reliable. That is, if the foundation is solid, then the money will keep coming no matter what your investment amount. An investor in any type of business must first have a proper idea about his business otherwise he cannot succeed in it.
Your opinion is quite reasonable too, because good investments are usually able to provide maximum results in the long term with a very strong level of foundation strength. So if we see an investment that can provide quick profits in a short time, it might just be a trap to give attention to many people so that people can be very interested and tempted by it because it is able to provide quick profits without considering such a strong foundation. But I personally usually consider it as normal trading, not as an investment because quick profits will not always occur on certain assets.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is possible to clone Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2023, 04:36:30 PM
You can not clone bitcoin because there is nothing there to copy, bitcoin are result of caculation on the blockchain data, to clone bitcoin you have to alter the blockchain data, and blockchain is designed in such a way that since data is stored and secured they can not be altered this is common misconception.
Why do you mention that as a common misconception? Because in my opinion, every asset that is very valuable and valuable in the eyes of many people will always be difficult to clone, because if an asset that has good value like Bitcoin can be easily cloned by many people, that will be a problem that can affect its value too. So it really can't be cloned by anyone because it is hindered by blockchain technology which is very reliable and very trustworthy.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if your country did not legalize cryptocurrency? on: September 29, 2023, 04:07:25 PM
The legalisation of bitcoin is just like the drama made by the government on the people,if you check the minister assets.Surely all the minister of your country will have their money in the bitcoin.Bitcoin was act as the asset now, most of the government official are get into the bitcoin at the early stage.Only the government had never legalise or say it as the neutral one.The bitcoin was the illegal one in the China,So you think all the people of the China had not have their money in the bitcoin. It’s not the real fact, many people have funds in the bitcoin.
This could very likely happen among government officials, because when they already know about Bitcoin and they try to explore it slowly to learn everything related to Bitcoin. It is very possible that they put their money in Bitcoin without telling many people about it and even they themselves told their people that Bitcoin was not liked by the government, even though they all really liked it even though the government did not make special rules so that people could also be encouraged to likes Bitcoin and puts his money into Bitcoin.

567  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price increase after halving? on: September 27, 2023, 08:38:11 AM
Halving events have frequently been associated with increase in price of bitcoin with significant upward momentum both before and after halving. Bitcoin halving often generate increased market attention and hype. Expectation of lower supply and likely price increase may fuel positive feelings amongst investors and traders.
People who make the connection between the halving and the increase in the price of Bitcoin have also seen how the price of Bitcoin was before or after the previous halving, so people who reflect on this are starting to make the connection with the increase in the price of Bitcoin before and after the upcoming halving. But in general it is always very difficult to measure what percentage price increase will occur in Bitcoin after or before the halving occurs, because currently the price of Bitcoin still tends not to experience significant changes.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: September 27, 2023, 08:11:53 AM
Every year there are new phones and if we fuel our wants always then we have tons of phones and it would be useless as we ain't using them or worse you wouldn't have any savings at all.
I think everyone needs to choose between a lifestyle that meets their daily needs and one that continues to be used in the long term and this applies to everyone. Be it rich people or poor people, because when someone always prioritizes their lifestyle every year by continuing to follow updates on expensive goods that can give them a luxurious lifestyle. One day that person will also be poor if he doesn't care about his income because he feels he is rich and won't fall into poverty again, whereas a poor person would be very silly if he followed this, especially if the poor person doesn't have any savings.

Quote
The more money you have, the more you spend. That is why having the mindset of saving first before spending is best mostly if your income is big so that it is sure that youll be saving some money and not only in wants.
If you see a person who has a lot of money, but he also spends more of that money, that means he doesn't have a mindset for saving except just a mindset to keep spending until there's nothing left. And usually such a person will not easily become rich or gain long-term comfort in his life because when he has no money, he will always face difficulties himself. So I also quite agree with your suggestion on the point of saving not only for our living needs, but also for other things.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if your country did not legalize cryptocurrency? on: September 27, 2023, 04:09:21 AM
I have to separate the expression regarding the hope of investing because of the halving from the question you asked in the last line of the topic.

Bitcoin is a very useful thing to many people. It has provided very good opportunities, job opportunity, trading opportunity and lots more for many people to earn money for their essentials of life. Bitcoin halving is fast approaching, giving many people hope of investment, and making reasonable profit at the end.
I can quite agree with the statement that Bitcoin is a very useful thing for everyone because Bitcoin can provide good opportunities for everyone who believes in it. But when it comes to investing in Bitcoin, I don't think it's solely because of the halving in Bitcoin, because investors who want to invest their money in Bitcoin can do so at any time without having to wait for the halving. Although the Bitcoin halving is getting closer, it could provide a slight opportunity to gain maximum profits if the price increase is more significant. But in general, investing in Bitcoin can be done whenever we want without having to rely on whether there is a halving or not.

Quote
Yet in some countries it is completely illegal. What will you do if you are a fan of bitcoin but your country did not legalize cryptocurrency?
If your country or other countries still consider Bitcoin to be illegal, you don't need to publish more about Bitcoin to protect yourself from countries that may not really understand Bitcoin. This way you can continue to find and store your own Bitcoin quite safely, meaning it will not prevent you or anyone else who wants to use Bitcoin to invest or trade. Because in life you can still use fiat as usual without having to act in rebellion against the government.
570  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Berani mengambil resiko apakah salah satu tindakan menuju sukses on: September 24, 2023, 09:34:35 AM

571  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much ,as you think ,is 1 bitcoin in 2025? on: September 24, 2023, 09:14:25 AM
More likely bitcoin will be at more significant levels than where it is presently and with expanded request from many more people on trades.
The influence of many people who are still very interested in entering the market is due to the Bitcoin halving and Bitcoin confidence which has increased globally even though on the one hand the price of Bitcoin itself has not increased significantly. Because in general there are still many people who really want to buy and own Bitcoin even though it is not for trading purposes, because Bitcoin can also be used as a long-term investment even though some people are waiting for the halving moment to see how much profit they can get through Bitcoin.

Quote
Presently numerous markets and sellers are supporting the holding of cryptos, vulnerability is the drawn out interest in 2025 may not be a major ascent particularly the BTC market.
Regarding interest or demand in the market, it is likely that it will get bigger before 2025, because most people will try to own Bitcoin before the halving which is predicted to occur next year so there will be many people who want to buy Bitcoin before it happens next year. If estimated, it could be that at the end of this year the level of demand will start to increase because there are many people who really want to welcome the halving by having Bitcoin in their wallets.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of war on global economy. on: September 24, 2023, 08:34:34 AM
1. Increase in the national GDP is least likely to be caused by a war.
2. Oil is considered the most crucial resource in modern warfare.
3. War affects the stock market by causing a decline in stock prices.

What do you guys think? Is this true or false?
I will not respond to the first point because I think it is still possible that the opposite of what you said is possible. But the second point is clearly possible because oil has long been a staple used by everyone in all conditions, including war. Whether it's oil for consumption by the public or oil used in vehicles and machines that run modern technology today, the third point could also be true because war can have a bad influence on stock prices and also prices of real estate assets around countries experiencing war.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on banking systems. on: September 24, 2023, 07:58:24 AM
Does Bitcoin really have challenged the monopoly of your country's traditional banking systems?

What do you guys think?

I don't think the presence of Bitcoin will challenge the traditional banking monopoly system in any country, because Bitcoin is here to make it easier for everyone in several ways that traditional banking has not had. However, if traditional banks feel challenged by the presence of Bitcoin among the public, this may be due to the lack of new conveniences that their customers require from banks in terms of serving their own customers.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin is not like that because Bitcoin only needs to be understood well enough by everyone who wants to use it for several things such as investment, trading and also just to store it for the long term. So I don't see Bitcoin challenging the banking sector through any system, because the only ones who feel challenged are the traditional banks themselves when Bitcoin is already so well known among people throughout the world.

Sumber: kemenag.go.id
575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Price Increasing? on: September 23, 2023, 02:40:34 PM
But why are you afraid and don't want bitcoin to fall to 25k$? I think it's good for us, it doesn't do us any harm. Not that most of us would say we would buy more if prices fell more and that was actually an opportunity. I don't want to predict what will happen next but if it drops again, I think a lot of people will be happier because they say they will buy more bitcoin. As for me, the short-term price doesn't make much sense and I don't care too much about it, what I'm waiting for is after the halving happens.
There are a lot of people who are waiting for the Bitcoin halving next year, so it would be very reasonable to expect a price drop if there is an intention from many people to buy more Bitcoin. But personally, I just don't want to see more price drops in Bitcoin because some people only talk about wanting to buy more Bitcoin when the price drops, but in reality there are still people who are afraid to buy when they see another price drop in Bitcoin. But if it's only a drop of $25K, that's still pretty good because it's not too different from the current price.
576  Economy / Economics / Re: The Kids buying Mcdonald order via BTC on: September 23, 2023, 02:28:48 PM
I just observed a kid on Twitter doing a Bitcoin payment transaction at McDonald's, and it's amusing to see that they can do it. However, I feel bad for the kid because he spent something like 170,000 Sats or something. Its parent must have a sizable amount of Bitcoin.
I am not surprised to see that McDonald's is willing to accept Bitcoin as payment for their products, because this has been going on at McDonald's for a long time. As mentioned by voi.id, in September 2021, El Salvador became the first country in the world to allow the use of Bitcoin as legal tender. Since then, McDonald's has accepted Bitcoin at 19 of its stores in the country. This means that this kind of thing has been going on for a long time at McDonald's and maybe there are more children there who know about it so they might be taught by their own parents how to use Bitcoin when shopping at McDonald's.

Quote
But even so, I'm still in awe of how these kids were raised by their parents since even at such a young age, they are progressively learning about the idea and features of how important Bitcoin is to them. I respect parents who do an excellent job of educating their kids.
This kind of thing is worthy of admiration because in other countries there may still be very few children who can use Bitcoin because of certain obstacles such as their parents who may not know about Bitcoin and also their surrounding environment which still does not want to accept Bitcoin like at McDonald's. So what these children are doing is quite good and I am also very impressed with them for this and it is very possible that their parents already understand how to use Bitcoin in several things including shopping.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Earnings on: September 23, 2023, 01:45:54 PM
I am a newbie in bitcoin I want to learn a lot about bitcoin I want to do marketing and trading with bitcoin if any of you are expert or if someone is more skilled please give me some suggestion so that I can do something good and my future is good.  can shine through bitcoin and i can stay away from casino and gambling games and without these two means i can earn money in my life and i can work hard to earn bitcoin everyone.

I don't know what kind of expert you are looking for or need in this matter, because if you just want to know about Bitcoin and learn everything that has to do with Bitcoin, I think you can also find that on several websites that you can use. as your initial reading to find out about Bitcoin. But if you want to get Bitcoin so you can trade within a certain period of time, you only need to provide as much capital as you can and buy it directly on the market or large exchanges that are very well known like Binance.

But it would be better if you first learn about Bitcoin thoroughly by reading more articles on the internet or in this forum so that you are no longer careless when you start trading. Because I'm sure there are many beginners who regret experiencing losses and blame Bitcoin, even though they themselves still don't have more knowledge about Bitcoin. So, as a beginner, you should be better than other beginners in Bitcoin, which means you have to be willing to learn seriously so you can be successful and have more beautiful dreams.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 22, 2023, 04:05:30 PM
Gold has indeed been proven to be a very valuable asset in any situation, but in the era of very sophisticated technology, Bitcoin can be a tool to protect against inflationary turmoil. Indeed, I also admit that Bitcoin cannot be used as a guide because its value fluctuates, but for me Bitcoin is the first alternative to gold.
Some people at this time have even made Gold the second asset of choice after Bitcoin, because placing Bitcoin in first place as an asset full of value is also not a problem in conditions like now. Moreover, if they also don't leave gold as an asset which is still good enough to have in every condition, because people who like to own Bitcoin and store it well will not really care about price fluctuations that occur in the market because they can still wait for the price to change. it's better when they care about the price of Bitcoin.

Quote
Currently changes in the global order are very fast, I will never be fixated on just one commodity. Gold has indeed been proven and is quite safe as a hedge tool, but I will continue to read developments carefully and in a situation like the current one, Bitcoin remains a consideration because it is possible that the price of Bitcoin will rise drastically and will add value quickly even though it has quite high risks too.
It is indeed time to pay more attention to several commodity assets and also to Bitcoin which has developed over a very long period of time so it is appropriate to consider and pay attention to its further developments. Because Gold will not have much more development other than on the price side which is more likely to remain stable in the long term.
579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there still hope for the price of BTC to hit back $69k this year? on: September 22, 2023, 03:50:36 PM
The recent price and movement of  Bitcoin had made it very clear for those were expecting something special and big to occur after the price reaches 31k this year to remain quite about btc big expectations they have about Bitcoin. The price falling back to 25k is a typical example that Bitcoin transaction is really really hard to predict and that there is actually no expert to it as everyone is just merely speculating and nothing more.
People who still like to speculate on Bitcoin prices are also based on facts that have happened in Bitcoin, although they can still miss what will happen in the future. Because if there are experts who can really know what the next price will be in Bitcoin, then that person will be rich first because he already knows the key to what the price will be. But this is always difficult for anyone to know so that everyone has the opportunity to profit if there is an improvement in prices in the market.
580  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seniors apply patience and kindness to newcomers on: September 22, 2023, 03:42:29 PM
I have concerns about the interactions between experienced members and newcomers in this forum. Occasionally, some experienced members can be quite harsh and may forget that newcomers are here to learn. While constructive corrections are beneficial, it's crucial to avoid using harsh or abusive language.
If you are someone who also wants to learn from experienced members on this forum, I think you don't need to see harsh words other than words that are useful for yourself. Because not all experienced members here speak harshly towards all newcomers, even though you may have read words that you think are harsh but according to other people they are just ordinary words. So there's no need to think about these harsh words if you are focused on gaining more knowledge through experienced members here.

Quote
It's true that some posts from newcomers may be of low quality or show a lack of willingness to learn initially. However, I believe that giving them a chance and treating them with kindness is a reasonable approach.
I also don't see any bad treatment of newcomers by experienced members on this forum, and you can see this in every topic that newcomers create with quite reasonable questions. What you have to see there is that there are always several experienced members who are still willing to provide answers to questions asked by newcomers quite accurately and are even accompanied by links that can be accessed for careful study.
