561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 29, 2019, 11:32:28 PM
Every boxer would be really fired up when they see fights like Pacquiao-Thurman and I know Mayweather wants to do it again with Manny. I think being afraid is a taunt since we never knew what Mayweather is really thinking, we never heard the side of him since as far as I know this is usually the taunt they are using so the other side will accept the offer. Another fight and I hope this will not be as disappointing as the last one.
I don;t think he (Floyd) is fired up. There are news circulating that Floyd is fighting again somewhere in Asia by the end of this year. Its the money that motivates Floyd nowadays for him to come out of retirement. If the price being offered is good, I think Floyd will agree for another match but until no one is ready to give him a good offer, the dream of another fight with Manny will remain as a dream. I heard a group of rich guys in the Middle East is also offering a good amount of money to host the 2nd match.
562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: August 29, 2019, 11:27:04 PM
  • Can I learn and do trading for month to make at least some money(around $100-$250), while doing freelance programming? I can arrange 3-5 hours for each activity per day.
I started with just $150 but it took me quite sometime before I get the hang on trading Crypto Currencies. At one point 1 almost lost that $150 and have to start over again but in trading if you give up that easy then trading is not for you. Its continuous learning process if you ask me. Not all trades are the same. Try to keep a journal of your mistakes lie what should have done and what you should have not.  3-5 hours is juts enough to trade but if you will be offline and you still have a coin that you feel needs your attention, try to place a stop loss order.
563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: August 29, 2019, 11:22:17 PM
Start with making your first trade being a day trader and see if that strategy fits you. It will ask you for a lot of your time since you need to monitor the price movement a lot.For me, I switch from day trading to long term, it depends with the market condition. There are times I am forced to sell even at loss if I see better coin or one with better potential of gaining profits.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: August 29, 2019, 11:18:08 PM
For me it would be fast withdrawals and fast deposits. I don't like it when they have to send me a separate email to confirm that I am making a withdrawal, I don't like it when I have to visit or go away from the site to verify something, my 2FA is enough for security. If they can integrate,  dice, poker and sports betting that would be awesome.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 29, 2019, 11:14:32 PM
In my experiences, I already won but a little amount of BTC only betting on a boxing fight which is Pacquiao-Thurman fight.

Now can I ask you, did you ever won a huge amount of money on gambling?
Share your experience.
I think the biggest that I can recall is 0.05 BTC and that's when Secondstrade is still active. Other than that, I win small amounts since my bets are usually just a thousand Satoshis in in Dice and I use autobet, its seldom that I go beyond 5 digits or 10,000 Satoshis. I also win in scratch cards but also small amounts, I guess its just around 5,000 Satoshis.
566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is easier 1-2% a day or 20-30% per month on: August 29, 2019, 11:09:36 PM
Unfortunately the 1% to 2% profits per day is sometimes not achievable. I mean you can get 1% to 2% profits per day including Sundays and Saturdays. But, I would rather go with 2% to 3% profits per day. 1% profits per day is kinda small considering that we pay 0.25% trading fee or even higher depending on what site you are using.
567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your favorite trading movies? on: August 29, 2019, 11:05:55 PM
Does anybody have any awesome movie recommendations related to trading? These are the ones I've watched and really enjoyed

Trading Places
Wall Street & Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
Boiler Room
Rogue Trader
Trader (Paul Tudor Jones)
The Big Short
The Wolf of Wall Street

I think I've watched each one at least three times! if you have any others you suggest please let me know!
Money Monster. It gives me the realization that we can't always rely on someones signal. In this film George Clooney plays as a walls street expert who gives out tips live on TV on which stock will gain and which will not however there is one who took it seriously and lost a lot of money and took him (George Clooney) as a hostage.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 29, 2019, 11:01:38 PM
I don't understand what you're insinuating when you said Mayweather  his career is slowly going down and he lost his fight lately because the last time I checked Mayweather was named the best sport defensive fighters as boxing is concern and his undefeated records stand still.
Mind you, I don't see any reason why he would be afraid of Manny when he's pretty in shape despite his age.
It took quite sometime before Floyd finally agrees and signed the dotted line in the initial fight. We don't know the reason why it took him so long but other are speculating that he is choosing his opponents to make sure that his zero record remains. I guess that is what he is afraid of, his zero record to be tarnished and not about his opponent.
569  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com 🔥 CASHBACK 🌟 NEW LEVELS 🌟 NEW RANKS🌟 CHEST PRIZES OF $35,000 💰 on: August 29, 2019, 10:56:19 PM
That was fast! Announced on the 26th and implemented on the 29th. Congrats Bitsler! That means the site is now capable of accepting 21 coins plus the Bitsler coin. I hope there will be more coins in the future to be added in the list and perhaps a new game to be added as well.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: August 29, 2019, 10:52:22 PM
Have anyone profited out of dice in the short or long term. I have been trying the best and lost all, I can't leave it. Once after I loss I have gone beyond my ability. Finally as the wallet got emptied, I bought bitcoin particularly for betting and lost even the amount earned from my day job. I used to experience win, but at the end it is a loss. I miss the right time to stop and leave. Cry Cry Cry
Bitsler have this function to check how many wins did you have versus how many losses. I used to use this as my barometer of when to stop but as time goes by, I would rather look at how much money I already made or how much I already lost before I call it a day. Do't bother looking at those stats if you are in just for entertainment. It will cost you more if you try to recover your losses.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: August 29, 2019, 10:49:05 PM
Just a month ago, giants like Starbucks, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, and AT&T announced that they accept cryptocurrency as a payment option.
With the  popularity that cryptocurrency is growing there is no doubt that it will soon be among other payment methods. Especially for the international payments, with its ridiculously low fee and time taken for inter-border transfers it is surely the favorite among the traders.
Also, with giants accepting it as a payment option there is no other need to prove its authenticity.

Do you own any cryptocurrency yet?

In my country, Cryptocurrency is being used as a pay option through the use of Coins.ph. It allows us to pay for our utilities like Electricity, Water, Telecommunication, we can also pay for our insurance premium and satellite subscription and credit card bills. However, question is who is willing to use Cryptocurrency to [ay since most of us are just holding it to gain profits.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: August 29, 2019, 10:44:15 PM
Even if most of the replies in this thread says it is profitable if you don't try it, you will never your answer. There is no right and wrong answer if they say it is profitable or its not profitable. It depends on the market situation when you bought your coin. You can't always stick to day trading specially if the price suddenly dropped. You will be forced to switch from day trading to long term holding in some situation to gain profits.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why did you choose your current exchange? on: August 29, 2019, 10:36:08 PM
I read this interesting article that give tips on how to choose reliable crypto exchange, here's the link if anyone is interested:
https://www.btcurrencies.com/exchanges/top-3-tips-to-choose-a-reliable-crypto-exchange-in-2019.html

This article I suspect is to promote Decoin exchange, but they present some interesting points. I don't really have favourite crypto exchange as I trade many coins all which aren't in one exchange.
Do you have favorite exchange? Why did you choose to it? Do you agree with above article?
That term "reliable crypto exchange" can change as time goes by. I used to trade using Poloniex but as time goes by and I read horror stories from different I switch to another trading platform that has a better feedback. Number of coins listed is one of the things I look at an exchange site, not all platforms have the same coins listed that is why I signed up to several trading platform.

Another is the trading fee, we might not feel the 0.25% trading fees imposed by exchange sites but if you gather all the trading fees that you paid for a year, that is huge money.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 29, 2019, 10:17:06 PM
what are your goals by investing? yes I think everyone wants to benefit from investment and trade. given the market situation is not yet fully stable, I'm sure you can still benefit from them.
I mean investing does not have to wait long, you can sell it at any time, when you see your coins above the initial capital price.

if you don't do that, you will starve!
Its not always the same that when you Buy and wait for your coin to hit your target and Sell, as you said due to market situation, there are times when instead of just holding for just a few hours if you are a day trader, you are forced to hold on a little bit longer most specially if teh price dropped suddenly.

This is the reason why I only aim for small amounts of profits 2% to 3% trade is fine for me and move to another, unlike others who really maximize the potential profits of the coin that they bought.

576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade strategy / top three pointers for newbire!! on: August 29, 2019, 08:19:28 AM
1: obviously if bitcoin is rising or falling most likely your investment is doing the same.
That is why you need to closely monitor your investments. It will not hurt if you download blockfolio to monitor your portfolio or crypto assets.

2:find a stable option to place your money in.
You should know by now that price of Crypto assets are not stable. You can earn 10% today and lose 20% tomorrow. That is why you need to plan your entry and exit. Dont just Buy and Hold.

3:not only observe day/week/monthly gained and losses, check the hourly status as well
It depends on your plan and what kind of trader are you, if you are a day trader then yes you need to monitor hourly or from time to time but if you plan to buy and hold for a long time, then there's no need to monitor hourly.
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Defending against the accusation of gambling on: August 28, 2019, 09:34:16 PM
I don't know if many of you notice this, but a lot of people who simply don't understand trading or derivatives seem hell bent on taking away our right to trade, just like the current proposed UK ban. They are cheering on the regulators to ban everything. They think any leverage is gambling. How do you feel realizing these people want to take your livelihood away?
We cant take that away from the government if they want to ban gambling in their country but it will just open an oppurtunity to those who wants to run illegal gambling in their country or just go under ground. I would rather go for regulation than total ban.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: August 28, 2019, 09:26:38 AM
Hey,

I was wondering about Dice games lately and what makes people choose particular platforms to play. I have my own reasons, but I'm really curious if yours are similar.

So my question is: What makes you choose the particular Dice platform and what are the most important aspects that makes you stay on it?

Bests,
bur4n

Im very much happy when I experienced to win in dice game because l got my new phone in it. Im very much happy because I don't expect to have it in gambling. So I told my self that there's a big possibility to win a bigger amount here.
One reason why gamblers stay in a dice site is the number of times they win. Thats why if you notice, there are many ways to win in a dice site nowadays not only when you hit the right number. Now there are contests, you can also win if you get the exact bet number, and even when you hit a mile stone like in Bitsler Billionth bet. Level up and you get something as well. Gone are those days when you only win if you pick the right combination.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 28, 2019, 04:15:44 AM
I agree on that earning bitcoin is pretty hard today than 2017 if you are in bounty today there are several trusted bounty campaign to join than last 2years if you are on trading maybe you feel short to have a big profit. The only thing that matter if you are hodler than can wait for a longer years to come.
There are other ways in earning Bitcoins aside from bounty campaigns and trading.
1. Sell something online and accept Bitcoin only as a mode of payment, that is one way of earning Bitcoins specially of your product is in demand.
2. If you have skills like web design, you can offer that service and show how creative you are.
3. Offer services like virtual assistant and ask to be paid in Bitcoin.
