Poloniex Is Trying To Rip Me Off My $3000 Worth Of BNB Hello Guys! Please I need your help. I am a local crypto trader, I exchange cryptos to local currency. So I made a deposit of 5.5 BNB worth approximately $3000 as at time of deposit; from my Binance Bep2 wallet using their Cross-Chain Transaction feature. The deposit was successful and here is the https://bscscan.com/tx/0x9f3480ea24e9c025cc4864745d0b24e7756151012b161fbfd6edc5166f0924df But the deposit wasn't credited to my Poloniex account. I contacted their support and the response they gave me is that "Upon further investigation, we are unable to recover this deposit. You made a cross-chain transaction. A cross-chain is simply interoperability between two independent blockchains without an escrow or intermediaries and cross-chain swaps are performed through special smart contracts. However, we do not support it and the fund won’t be swapped automatically to the account even if the address is correct."... When I asked what that means, all they could tell me is that the fund is lost, that I can't be credited for the deposit unless they make a change in their Policy later in the future. If you can't credit my Poloniex account, please send back my BNB to my wallet address, and their response is "the process to recover this token is extremely complicated and may result in significant cost, time, and risk." It is not like I made a wrong deposit, or that I sent a wrong token to the wrong address. The coin is there sitting in the deposit wallet address they gave me https://bscscan.com/address/0x013d03144b04e193336eb74ed695f88c67f72cb4. I said okay, since the process of recovering the token is complicated like you said (I don't even understand what that means), this wallet address was automatically generated from your system and I am sure the private key is saved in your database, please give me the private key, let me import it in other wallets like Metamask and send out my BNB, this is their response "Unfortunately, private keys cannot be shared."... Okay, how about you guys do it yourself manually with the private key, import it to another wallet, remove any amount that it will cost you to recover or send out the tokens; from my deposit amount and send the remaining amount to another wallet address of yours or my own wallet, they still did not agree to that Their response is, "Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you with your request.". I have even pleaded with them to send me at lease half of my deposit amount, to settle my client, and since then, they haven't replied to my emails. Please if anyone can help me to recover my 5.5 BNB, I will gladly give him 1.5 BNB from the tokens... Please I am pleading, I can't afford to pay back $3000 to my client that owns the money. Im on a similar situation with a deposit done to a USDT TRC-20 Address that was generated by their system. Coins are sitting there, but it doesn't show on my account. generated address; TRM99RiXgDug3srb12rtz6puFDSNFygPeS TX: 4c0c16dada7fed39d93dbb007fa3dad56f4d61d5a81d7a6662f13cc5638f5bb2 I already contacted their support but I'm still waiting for an answer. Were you able to get this sorted? Not yet, and this the same deposit they said they are unable to recover has been sent to their Poloniex master wallet here https://bscscan.com/tx/0xfaa96a0f7b37e6dd8625ec74f2867f10806693e2a3f992d12e828ce2c0582283Yeah, 3 days into the support request and no answer yet. Thing is, they make available a deposit address to which they are responsible and now they do not take responsibility and fund my account. freacking shameful OK. So I should let you guys know that they ended up sorting out my issue and deposited my funds back to my account. Even though they should be faster when answering to support requests, I have my confidence increased in them. Just keep contacting their support; if the issue is their responsibility, they will sort it out for you.

According to the Namecoin ANN thread, the project is still alive. Community out there tries to find solution for the trade volume and the supported exchanges. https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=6017.0User vinced who published the ANN isn't active anymore since 2012. However, i found it interesting that he got green positive trust from a DT member in 2018: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=9552With the advent of the metaverse and the possibility of turning our real addresses into virtual addresses, I saw a potential new use case for Namecoin.
Please explain more how you see potential new uses case for Namecoin. I guess it can be used to provide domains and Ips for virtual land or virtual property such as buildings that are bought in the metaverse... at least I see it as a possible use

With the advent of the metaverse and the possibility of turning our real addresses into virtual addresses, I saw a potential new use case for Namecoin. Unfortunately, despite the coin can still be found in a couple of exchanges, it seems that the project is dormant or dead. Anyone has any updates or know anything about namecoin?

"Is the bubble about to burst?" - This has been a common narrative used by crypto haters ever since Bitcoin reach its first peak and MT Gox drawdown. Unfortunately, it seems this same narrative is spreading like a disease that is trying to shake the crypto foundations by turning crypto supporters against each other. Today, I've received the Medium Daily Digest and an article caught my attention: We’re About to Witness the Great Cryptocurrency Reset. It is a well-written article and I may say the guy makes some points over there. He starts by criticising how the original idea proposed by Satoshi has been overturned, how the crypto space is controlled by a bunch to finish off saying how bad actors are now turning it into what it was intended to fight against. Would be great to hear some thoughts.

Recently, many governments have been showing increasing animosity against Cryptos. While the US is preparing to launch a Blockchain surveillance plan, other countries such as Sweeden are showing signs of moving towards a crypto crackdown by criminalising mining. Should we be worried about this?
