I agree. KGW should be implemented now rather then later after the big pools pushed up the difficulty rating. All new coins should have KGW implemented at the start. It's currently the best way to create stable coins. +1 Megacoin's Kimoto Gravity Well https://forum.megacoin.in/index.php?topic=893.msg5598#msg5598

Hello Megafriends, Very exciting news! Megacoin.co.nz domain has been canned! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Domains of ogre lengths are a thing of the past! For now China's domain is up and running and supports 18 languages: xn--hlr20wf80a.com Forums will be back soon on one of the various community domains: Megacoin.ca, Megacoin.co, Megacoin.eu, Megacoin.in, Megacoin.nl, Megacoin.us In other news, Megacoin is now accepted at over 33 websites and 8 exchanges! Kimoto Gravity Well difficulty algorithm this month grew from 2 to 12 coins. Releasing a technical gravity guide shortly so all coins receive a fair chance at life ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Have a nice day, Dr. Kimoto Chan Good work Kimoto, however, why don't you keep the old domain with a forward to one of the new ones? People must have bookmarked the old domain, and links are all over articles and forums ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Kind regards, I'm glad we're putting a positive spin on things, but losing our nz domain seems like a setback to me. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I wonder if something happened or was there some problem maybe from New Zeland? oh well, as long as we'll still have an easily findable website, we can just change all the links, the flyers, videos, etc. it will be all good. it would really be great if we could eventually get megacoin.com though. I guess now there won't be any more "megacoin.co.nz = mega.co.nz??" speculation. - onetime

At block 200 the Kimoto Gravity Well implementation will take over the retargeting. You can read more about KGW and it's benefits against pool hopping issues (such as coins stuck in high difficulty) here. This link doesn't work? can you fix it please? I'm rather keen to learn more about this coin. It sounds very interesting, I will watch with interest and have a go at mining. Thanks yea, the Megacoin website megacoin.co.nz is down right now. you can read about the Kimoto Gravity Well in the first post here: http://forum.megacoin.in/index.php?topic=893.0

If anyone is interested, I have a limited supply of Megacoin bumper stickers available. They are much glossier than the photo shows, and made of heavy vinyl rated for 3 years outdoor use. 400 MΣC for the 1st sticker, shipped between 2 pieces of cardboard. 300 MΣC for each additional sticker. Not looking to make any money, just cover my expenses. Sure to be a collectors item. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi40.tinypic.com%2F210hnjs.jpg&t=663&c=tcNWBG_tU6q9qQ) hey vtr99, I'd like to get a couple of those bumper stickers, are they still 300 MΣC each? I'll enjoy driving around Las Vegas with it on my car. (in a few years from now, people looking back at this will think it's crazy to have spent 300 MΣC on a bumper sticker!) thank you Kimoto and everyone who's doing good things for the future of Megacoin! I've been reading all the great entertaining posts here every day. (if this forum had a facebook "like" button, I'd be pressing "like" on most of them.)

Phyiscal coins are printed with a private key on them that contains the amount of coins in question.
oh really? wouldn't that allow someone to withdraw the value, making the coin worthless? then what's the point of going to the trouble of creating a physical coin, if as soon as someone withdraws that value the physical coin becomes disposable?

OK guys here is the image for the coin buy need to know what you would like the coin to be loaded with 100,500,1000 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F8jSoXmw.jpeg&t=663&c=ASUsKkiSeWulAw) looks great!! if it's a 100 MΣC coin then it would be worth the same as a hundred dollar bill once 1 MΣC = 1 USD, which will happen. so I'm wondering, how is a physical coin going to work.. is it backed by the amount of MΣC in one particular account? if one of the physical coins gets destroyed, what would happen to the corresponding value in that account? and will there be a danger that a coin made now might be duplicated, counterfeited in the future? thanks MobGod, great work! thanks everyone for all the megacoin projects going on! Good question here is my thinking each coin will have it's own number for example only 200 made 000-200 has me being the seller I would keep a list safe offline so if a coin did get destroyed I would still be able to send the buyer the amount of coins put on the coin if that makes sense to you. well, here are my thoughts: assuming the coins won't get counterfeited, I suggest there should be a MΣC account (or several) specifically designated just to hold the MΣC of all outlying coins in circulation. you (or a trusted banker that won't EVER inflate the currency) would issue physical coins in exchange for MΣC transfers into the account. only an un-damaged physical coin can be redeemed for its value in MΣC from that account. so, if a physical coin gets destroyed, the value should just be gone, no longer owned by anyone. the bank should never give out or spend the extra MΣC that was lost, it should just sit there in the account. otherwise someone could say they lost their coin to get paid back, but someone else might find the coin and also try to redeem it. physical coins need to be directly associated with their real MΣC value, never inflated. the problem, though, is most bankers are greedy and untrustworthy. whoever controls the MΣC account would eventually be in control of a lot of money, and it would be a disaster if the account got robbed.
