The price of gold have been manipulated for many years to keep it low in order not to disrupt central bank's policies. Those manipulations can't last forever. The price of gold now is already low enough to create difficulties for many mining companies. China is planning to buy oil supported by gold and probably to back their currencies. Russia is buying gold like there's no future. Gold has thousands of years of history as a store of value and is not going to go away because of cryptos. I like your project, I love gold as a store of value and as an independent entity from individual governments. But what will happen to my contribution in case you don't collect the required amount?
According to your site, the amount raised till now is $3.521M out of $20M, even though the pre-ICO have been extended. If the past contribution pace is an indication, it probably won't reach the desired amount. Also, ETH price is quickly rising making more expensive for people to contribute.
We will do our best to collect funds and reach cap, that is why we prefer to move slowly, perhaps, but steadily.
