An update from the dev filled with promises will not cut it. Hell, even the Facebook app will not cut it if the majority of the coin will be in hands of people trying to make a buck on it. KDC needs a widespread adoption, possibly from people not into altcoins, to actually be a "better" coin than all the rest, and as it is now, I really can't see it happening.
Also, the community here starts to be horrible. It didn't catch on, it's okay, most coins nowadays don't. Get over it and stop acting like it's the best thing invented since sliced bread, despite everything outside of this thread pointing to the fact that KDC is, at best, in a lethargic state.
I completely agree, we need people outside of the altcoin community, however....have you tried to explain cryptocurrency to someone who has no clue?  Yeah I have and only 3 out of 10 people believed in it. The other thinks it some kind of pyramid scheme and that we will all lose our money. Even though I proved that I haven't deposited $1 but I withdrew about $1k before... |

Don't listen to this guy. Not everyone received these coins for .00005, it was the starting bid or lowest that bumface and ziggy would accept for the 1.6 million pre mine. Oh and there are more that 1.6 million coins now.
no. you dont understand. everyone bought at the starting bid. it wasnt a bidding. it was first come first serve at 0.00005 bumface didnt sell the coins from highest price to least price. he sold them as people bought them. as soon as the coins ran out he said bidding is closed. he didnt do a real bidding he just sold them at any offer 0.00005 or above. there were a few people that thought it was a bidding and offered higher and got tricked but it wasnt a bidding. everyone bought it bellow 0.000055 and almost all of them at 0.00005. only a small few bought over 0.00005 and it was only becuase they got tricked into thinking it was a bidding system. bumface sold them first come first serve at the price they offered. all of them were gone at the minimum bid. he didnt chose a higher offer over the other. he just sold the 1600000 to the people who bought first at starting bid And this doesn't seem like a scam for you? |

currently i am offering 0.00008 which is very risky for me. you have to understand that there are more than 1.6 million ultracoin for sale. they will want to make profit or close to break even so they dont lose. 0.00008 is very high
Then there is no point of mining this when you get 300 per day with 1mhps. You'll have to mine for a year to get 1 btc. The coin is ruined because of that premine! |

Because it was a scam. Look at all the posts. People still not seeing it. It's funny but sad This is the new way to pre-mine/instamine. I try to catch as many launches as I can and I think this trend started with MOON. Date/time of launch is advertised, promises of fair launch and pools available at release are made, and then "oh noes guise!!! pools don't work! hang tight, I'll get it fixed just as soon as I mine 2000 blocks!" I don't even bother signing up for the launch pools anymore after seeing the same shit happen a dozen times. Just set up my solo miners and watch a thousand newbies scramble to figure out solo-mining for 30 pages of the thread. solomining so difficult hao i do diz I actually set solomining up with my phone, using teamviewer, trying to find nodes on the phone (pain in the ass since scroll doesn't work), all I could read was "OMG solomining doesnt work here is my config: rpcuser: user rpcpassword: password And here is my cgminer conf: -u youruser -p yourpassword OMG WHY DOESNT IT WORK" |
