Can anyone explaine me whats happened with their 2nd project "Vostok"? As far as I know they sold it? So is this were just a speculation to pump the price?
Hello!
Please, use get acquainted with the following website:  https://wavesenterprise.com/
There are some positive changes. And taking into account the fact that the $VST token has become the system token of the Waves Enterprise network, the decision to set $WEST ticker symbol  (Waves Enterprise System Token) has been taken to avoid confusion during operations with the token.

Sincerely,
Waves Community Manager

sudden waves dildo on coingecko and waves cap

A classic Sasha pump;
Do you have any proof of that?
No?
I do not have any either. Neither for nor against. And now? It is all guesswork.
If you are convinced of the project, then stay.
If you are not convinced, then go.
It is your decision.
It is so easy.

At Waves Community Meetup in Berlin on December 11, we presented a new solution that will enable communication between any existing blockchains and dApps.

Hello estenity. Yes, we have some positive changes. But in view of the short time, we don't have enough statistics.

How much of the ICO funds are left?
That information is not publically available and it most likely it won't be available in near future. There's a BTC address in which ICO funds were, If someone can do chain analysis then there might be some estimates or Waves CEO should disclose it..

i'm also curious to know how much is left but how much had it grown if they trade it.

30K BTC was raise, we all been here during that time when our waves kept decreasing as more are investing. its definitely hard to see project get that much btc form investors. WAVES is one of the luckiest project ever supported but looking into its development and price seem like sasha did nothing but enjoys the travel everywhere.

i'm not updated but was vostok distributed already?

Hello, electronicash.

The distribution was done for all verified addresses, and goes on for those who participated but not verified yet.
If your account is among non-verified, you can still do it via two ways:
1) Authorize with Waves Keeper or
2) Send 0.0001 WAVES to a special address 3PBNiHBcp8rxiYkGVGNHEGZHEamb1aXeWVv
More details and ability to check your average $WEST balance here https://vostok.wavesplatform.com

Also, taking into account the fact that the $VST token has become the system token of the Waves Enterprise network, the decision to set $WEST ticker symbol  (Waves Enterprise System Token) has been taken to avoid confusion during operations with the token

Sincerely,
Waves Community Manager

yay that's what i'd do. i forgot to verify using that waves keeper which is why i'm not seeing tokens. as far as i know they did take a snapshot. here's a situation, what if after the snapshot i sent my waves to an exchange wallet, will i still have the chance to collect my vostok?

this is because i did have two waves wallet which i tried holding some and some is where i tried trading.  installing browser extension is risky for me but will try this time.
You still can verify your Waves account by using the Keeper extension on the website provided in the previous message (https://vostok.wavesplatform.com) and if you were a holder during the period of the daily snapshots, you're fine anyway

Hello and thanks for looking.  I migrated my account from Waves DEX to Waves.exchange, however, I had a certain amount of Waves leased on DEX.  Is there a way for me to cancel the lease in Waves.Exchange?  I am not seeing an option for this and the transactions do not seem to go so far as to see the least start.  I can see my full balance where it says X Waves available, X Waves leased.  Any help/suggestions are much appreciated.

Best

Hi Elated. Please, make sure you're doing all in accordance with this step by step instruction - https://docs.wavesplatform.com/en/waves-client/account-management/waves-leasing.html

When using BTC gateway to make deposits on waves wallet is there the possibility to use not-segwit addresses?
Hello. There's no such a possibility in case your previous BTC deposit address hasn't been saved.

Sincerely,
Waves Community Manager

What do you mean by saved? Does it mean if I've my public BTC address still available somewhere in my previous transactions history?
Old legacy addresses are still valid, but there's no opportunity to see them anymore despite the case it's been saved by you elsewhere

I see, perfect thanks.
Just last quick one : how long the legacy addresses are planned to be still valid and working?
We don't have plans to shut them down in the nearest future, and will definitely announce it separately when they will become invalid

Hi there.  But when you say old version of my client, is it the one im using now?  Its called wave dex at the top left when you open it up.  This is the waves desktop client i downloaded a while back.

So i type my waves client password into this screen and then sign in?  I want to be sure we are talking about the same screen here?

Because there is only 2 waves wallet right?  One is the wavesliteclient with google chrome and the waves desktop client?  I also know there is that waveskeeper as well but i never used or installed that.

jerry0, please, use the links mentioned above.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: December 08, 2019, 05:27:16 AM
Haven't logged into the waves client in a while.   Last time it showed a message that you needed to do something with it so i did not bother with it.

Now i open the waves client and on the top left in shows Wave Dex but on middle of screen it shows

The message shows

we no longer operating this service.

To continue working with your existing accounts, assets and exchange, you should move your accts to the new waves.exchange.  We strongly recommend that you do this ASAP.  Migration process is fast, easy and absolutely secure.

To start migrating, please sign in

Dont worry all your tokens, seed phrases and passwords are safe.

There is option to type in my password

So i type in my waves password here and then continue?

But no matter what, as long as I have my waves seed phrase, im fine right?

Back then i used the wavesliteapp that was used with google chrome but i was told i should use the waves client as almost all ppl use that.

So in my situation now, what do i do?  I mean when you see a message like this when logging in waves.dex, it would concern ppl because it say to do this asap.  Because what if you don't log into your waves account for years?

I mean as long as you have your old waves seed, you are fine no matter what right?  And when was this change?

Could i even use the waves lite client now still though?

Hello jerry0. All you need to do is login in your wallet via old vesion of your client (https://dex.wavesplatform.com/ or desktop) and follow the instruction to migrate your account to https://waves.exchange/. And yes, in case you have your seed-phrase, you can restore your access at any time.

Kind regards, Waves Community Manager

The problem turned out to be an older version of chrome browser. I updated to the latest version of chrome and the exchange is working perfect. I really like the new exchange look and feel, its alot smoother on my setup

note that previous history of transactions is apparently lost in the new exchange.
Hello. The list of transactions belongs to any Waves account can't disappear, as they appeared within the blockchain network and nothing can be lost somehow.
Be sure to access the right wallet and check your transaction history for certain address by visiting the official block explorer: https://wavesexplorer.com/

Waves Community Manager

so i I understand well, there will be three different USD on waves exchange:

USD gateway

USD-N neutrino

USDT

could these three prices be different ?

Shouldn't be so different as they are stablecoin (1 USDT = 1$, etc...).

is it the reason for future integration of usdt ?

https://www.coindesk.com/why-tether-volume-surged-to-all-time-highs-in-august

USDT is well known and lot of peoples using it, so it can attract more peoples on the exchange.

"Due to the restructuring, Coinomat will not be able to act as a fiat operator for Waves.Exchange"

so, is that the final separation between waves and coinomat ?
Greetings. Coinomat remains our trusted partner for some cryptocurrencies, such as Dash, Monero, Litecoin, and a few others as for now.

The voting period for changing Waves’ block reward size is approaching.

This will start on 9 December and last for one week. Current reward is 6 $WAVES. Block generators have to make a choice for emission: increase, decrease, or leave it unchanged.

Read how to do it below⬇️

Learn about voting for block generation here: https://docs.wavesplatform.com/en/blockchain/mining/mining-reward.html#voting

Read about how to configure your node here: https://docs.wavesplatform.com/en/waves-node/node-configuration.html#rewards

Why are the prices broken in Waves exchange? Looks like USD and EUR coin prices are misrepresented. Are you artificially creating arbitrage opportunities? If I sell BTC to USD there at 10K, which is current price, which way I can withdraw USD, as the rest coins are inflated as well, even Tether.
Hello. All up to date information concerning wUSD has been provided in the following statement: https://t.me/wavesexchange/878
