Looks-wise... it looks horrible.

Functionality-wise it looks amazing.

This thing is going to be great in a month or two.

CCN is the new hottest coin right now for me. I'm trading my bitcoin for cannacoins.

The design is simplistic to... as you said, be functional.  It was originally meant to be a back-end solution for merchants, but as it was built, it became apparent that it could serve many purposes.

Since it was done using Javascript it will be very easy to build custom skinning for mobile devices.   Prices and data are updated in real-time without refreshing the page.

+1 in everything what u say and also u just got a new friend here Smiley u made me smiley with "la frase en español" Smiley

btw, was taking a look and Cannapay implementation looks good, it is already online for test?

Mucho gusto amigo Smiley

CannaCoin CCN looks to have a really good team. I heard they have 6 developers out of Washington state. CANN and CCN should work closely together. CCN could sell CANNdy in Washington and CANN could then focus on growing CANNdy instead of building technology that CCN has already developed. CANN needs to figure out how to grow and distribute CANNdy throughout the USA.

Thanks man.  We have multiple developers working on different projects.

As to the idea of selling CANNdy in Washington.  Transporting Cannabis across state lines is risky business.  Each state has it's own laws and regulations regarding growing, distribution, and sales of Cannabis.  Each state also has it's own money transmitting licensing.

Where we see the most ideal place for working together is on implementing the CannaPay and CannaCart platform together.

really sorry that u took everything in the bad way... and for the record NWGT maybe is well know in Washington state but i live in berlin and im from cuba, in both sites no ones know about this forum so means, when i write about something i dont know i refer to this as "some whatever" it is, nothing to do with how u took it (maybe because im not an english native speaker, i dont know so many words and sometimes use what i know and no what i want)

anyway wish u luck with ur coin

I didn't take your comments in a bad way, but they are not really applicable to the mission at hand.  Since you live in Berlin, you likely have no understanding of what is happening in the medical Cannabis communities in the United States.  Right now, we have turf wars occurring between legalization proponents and medical cannabis dispensaries.  Everyone wants to exploit the situation to make money (politicians included).

So your comments distract from the greater goals here.

If we do not work together for the sake of Cannabis law reform and legitimizing cryptocurrency, then all of this is pointless.

U are right about almost everything but not in one point... i can comment what i want because is a free forum, what is a distraction for u could be good for others, u never know... in everything else im agree with u

First of all, thanks for your concern and I apologize if you construed my comments as negative.  I think there is some language issues.

¿Prefieres español?

It is a constant uphill battle to gain legitimacy in cryptocurrency space.  This is why I meet people in person and talk to them over the phone and on Skype.  I am not anonymous.  I give my personal name and contact information to anyone that wants to have a conversation.  If you want to Skype with me, then just message me.

I've worked hard to gain my position in the crypto space.  As a co-founder of CoinJoint.info (http://coinjoint.info/about-coinjoint/) and a Cannacoin Dev you can be assured that I will be completely transparent to all of you.

As I said in my first post, transparency is my prerequisite for any cooperation.

Gotta agree that we should work with cannacoin but not merge or anything like that, payment gateway would be great in my opinion.

Merging coins is not in our interest.  We are coders and developers that work on our own blockchain for the sake of learning.  Most coins outsource their development and hire consultants to make changes to protocols and compile wallets.  We do this ourselves and we don't do it for a profit.  We never premined our coin and never participated in a pump on our coin.  We have approached other Cannabis based cryptocurrencies for the sole purpose of furthering cryptocurrency development in the Cannabis industry space.

CannaPay is currently in a closed beta but we will open this up to the public to use for themselves.

Would you like to have CANN added to it?  We are not asking for money, only development based upon goodwill.

For example, anyone participating in cryptocurrency and Cannabis is a target for the Federal government.  We realize this.  Any type of interstate money transmission in the United States is immediately open to scrutiny by federal prosecutors.  Combine this with Cannabis, and you are now talking about money laundering and drug trafficking.  These charges can carry large penalties.

These are areas where our teams can cooperate for KYC/AML compliance as well.

Now, back to CannabisCoin.

We would like to integrate CANN into our CannaPay platform soon, which is extremely robust and secure.  It is developed completely in-house with Javascript and utilizes 2-Factor Authentication and SSL.  We run a tight ship on the security side of things.

What is CannaPay? It is essentially a web wallet, a merchant processing solution that can issue invoices automatically, and a trading application that allows users to trade and arbitrage across exchanges.

It is completely scale-able, meaning we can add any exchange via API that supports API trade features as well as any cryptocurrency. We have tested it with many different cryptocurrencies.

CannaPay is both a front-end exchange and trading application as well as a back-end solution that can interface with our CannaCart opencart plug-in via API.

This means that as a dispensary owner, you can simply run your point-of-sale system using the CannaCart plugin and immediately be able to convert your coins into BTC or send them anywhere you want at the end of the day.  You could batch anytime of the day and send those coins to a cold-storage wallet.

Those with retail experience will know the term "closing out your drawer".  This means at the end of the day, you run a batch and it automatically generates information for your sales that day and performs reconciliation functions.

While this platform can be used for any retail application, we are developing this specifically for dispensaries at the moment.

hehehehe after CCN (CannaCoin) dev wrote here about this the price from CCNcoin went up x3... would be good for him to clarify what happen with the old thread from CCN before i get in, im not so sure after reading all the problems they have with they community (some forum about medical weed)
please @tokyopotato dont take it on the bad way but would be good to be clear about all that

Anyone that has genuine concerns with our community can contact me in person through a private message and we can discuss it over the telephone or Skype.  I'm not interested in hashing out the internal politics of a tight-knit community on this thread.

As for the price of CCN.  We released a statement that we will be moving to PoS 2.0 two days ago, and yesterday we released screenshots of our nearly finished CannaPay platform.  Perhaps this caused a price increase?  I do not know.

Now I have offered to work towards integrating CannabisCoin into our CannaPay platform which we built with our own API from the ground up. What I have proposed to your developers has nothing to do with NWGT.  I never mentioned by name our forum in our Skype conversation.

For the record, NWGT is not some "medical weed" forum.  It is cherished resource for hundreds of patients and growers in Washingtons State, many of whom suffer from Cancer, autoimmune diseases, arthritis, and other maladies.  They are verified medical users that we have personally verified to give them access to our marketplace and prevent any illegal activity from occurring.

The Devs should bring Canndy to a CannabisCup... if it is a Prize winning plant, then all People wanna try this weed, but they have to buy cannabiscoin first to enjoy the smoke...  Grin
Thank you for the optimism in our strains.  We aren't looking into being the "prize" plant.  We are looking to make history by providing safe affordable meds to patients while emphasizing the need for crypto.

~Dev Team

I'm curious though what type of medicine the first CANNdy strains will be. High CBD? A focus on painkilling? Relaxation? Strains and their medicinal uses vary greatly.
As someone with legitimate needs for cannabis I'd really love to see a little love sent towards a high CBD strain. They're totally under appreciated and are the next step in cannabis and currently requires some effort to get from dispensaries.

I would second this.  I am personally not interested in the high-THC varieties of Cannabis as I don't enjoy the psychoactive effects.  As a medical user, I always look for high CBD strains for the same purposes of pain management and anti-anxiety.

DeltaNine has conversed with TokyoPotato of cannacoin-CCN.
At this point it is ONLY introductory and was good hearted.

DeltaNine has always embraced ALL cannabis related crypto and will be open for talks but remains focused on the main mission of the CannabisCoin.

DeltaNine is currently in a small conference in Maricopa, Arizona.
He will have updates soon.

~Dev Team

We see that CannabisCoin has a mission at the moment and specific goals.  We've developed two platforms that we are particularly proud of and would be happy to share with a coin and community of like-mind:

Let's imagine we are 5 years down the road, and we have smart contracts.  Do you guys think any of these individual blockchains matter? Not really.  It's entirely possible to not only merge-mine, but also "merge-contract" blockchains whereby we can confirm blocks on the CannabisCoin chain as well as the Cannacoin chain through mining, staking, or other methods of consensus.

This is basically what was envisioned by Jed McCaleb who created the Ripple protocol, which was the first shot across the bow that showed that the value was not in the mining but in the transmission of value over a decentralized network of consensus.  Mining is just one way to find consensus of the ledger (blockchain).

Let's say that you have a miner mining CannabisCoin and a staker staking Cannacoin.  Utilizing smart contracts, you could actually provide consensus on both or either of these blockchains through different methods of consensus simultaneously.  And then let's say you issue an IOU on the Ripple network and create a gateway to these blockchains.  You now are utilizing three different methods to perform transactions and in the end they all result in transaction consensus.

Right now we have a proliferation of bitcoin/litecoin based networks. The ones that survive will be the one's that adapt to the future and join forces to work on smart contracts and development.

This is why Cannacoin will be moving to the Blackcoin PoS 2.0 codebase, as it will fast-trak us to the BlackHalo smart contracts system where we can co-develop with the best and brightest in crypto.

I'm also extensively knowledgeable of the Ripple protocol and the Codius smart contracts platform.  I have test-issued Cannacoin on the Ripple network and experimented in redemption.  I've developed relationships with gateway providers on that network (XNF trading, Coinex New Zealand, SnapSwap).

Why does any of this matter?  Because in the end the goal is basically the same.  Along the way, we have the opportunity to pinpoint our resources towards specific industries such as Cannabis.

This is where branding and platform development come together.  In the end, it has to be about Cannabis, because it's really not about our individual blockchains.

I just got off the phone with our developer, SubCreative (Josh) of Cannacoin.

Here are some areas where Cannacoin sees co-development in the short-term:

1) Integrating CannabisCoin into the CannaPay platform and partnering for regulatory compliance on money transmitting (following the laws)

2) Co-development on secure wallet services, mobile payment platforms, and merchant processing (CannaPay)

3) Integrating CannabisCoin into the CannaCart platform (an in-house developed open cart plug-in) for accepting payments and an industry specific BTC/CCN/CANN solution

4) Merge the goals of our coins and develop an economic pact for the Southwest with the Pacific Northwest (Cannacoin is based in Seattle Washington)

5) Political organization to protect patients rights to obtain Cannabis-based medicines

6) Fundraising for patients that are in dire need of help

Let's make it happen.

I just had an awesome chat on Skype with the CannabisCoin dev.

Expect some co-development from the Cannacoin team on CannabisCoin.

Combining our extremely strong development team is a true opportunity to make history.

Is there any benefit at all to having the 2 Canna(bis)Coins operating separately. Has there been any thought (lol i know its probably a bit early) given to combining the 2 entities into one super strong coin?

We are now going to be discussing multiple strategies on working together.  I will be very busy the next 48 hrs in discussions with our development team and continuing a dialogue with the CannabisCoin team.

To answer your question:  The Cannacoin team has long believed in alternative uses of the blockchain other than as a currency.  For example, take Namecoin which acts as a side-chain of sorts to Bitcoin due to merge mining.

There's many opportunities to work together, and we will explore them.

BTW, I'm not trying to spread FUD.  I want to see CannabisCoin succeed as all crypto should succeed.  If you guys are interested in any cross-development with our team, just let me know.

But... I only work with completely transparent individuals.  I am nervous to see crypto tarnished alongside the medical cannabis industry.

We are in this to protect patients and help patients.

You need to have an independent source audit your grow setups and prove to everyone here that you are not bullshitting!

Cheers!

Wow.  First off,  Welcome to the community.

Just to make it clear for everyone here, you  TOKYOPOTATO are a dev of Cannacoin(CCN)

We have Skype, lets face to face.  : cannabis.coin

Yes, that would be awesome.  I will get in touch with you on Skype.  Would love to chat.  I called Nick from Potcoin the other day.  We want to work on co-development with other coins.  We are currently assisting Solarcoin with their transition to PoS 2.0

Let's chat!

We are currently developing the html5 wallet with QR and point of sale system to streamline processes first.

Putting out a merchant list before implementation of adoption would not be beneficial for CannabisCoin or the merchant and create frustrations.

Please be patient since we are in very early stages but with rapid growth.  We will always deliver and keep you posted of updates.

If MUST see more of CannabisCoin due to excitement, take this time to read the older posts for information that may answer some of your questions.

Become, an EXPERT CannabisCoin follower.

Would like to re-iterate the above.

And when we announce and broadcast the public event of "CANNdy" purchases, be sure to wear some diapers.
It's inevitable.

In the age of crypto, there's been so many hype stories that turned out to be profitable scams, such as what happened with Worldcoin and Scharmbeck, also out of Arizona.

People also don't forget the whole Zetacoin scam as well.

My biggest question, is why announce this before you have a product to sell?  Why not just do it?

I'll buy 10,000 grams right now!

*edit* I misunderstood the purpose behind this initially.  The whole point is not to make money, it is to help people get meds for cheap and develop a solid ecosystem for patients!

Those who followed sushichef his bitcointalk history know I start participating in a thread AFTER I have bought a position. Already followed this coin from the beginning and have read every page.

Calling me a troll after I raised legitimate questions only shows the incompetence of those that have judged.

Doesn'T matter what goes around.. yup.. comes around

Asking legitimate hard questions is really important in crypto.  That's the reason I stopped participating in the Potcoin community a while back.  As soon as I asked the Potcoin team hard questions and demanded some transparency to the hype, I was attacked by a throng of lemmings.

Anyways, I really hope that CannabisCoin succeeds - even though I consider this move to be highly experimental.

I would just like to know, can I buy 1000 grams of CANNday with my 1000 coins yet?

Don't shoot yourselves in the foot by making a bunch of bagholders in the process of hype.

Good luck with this venture.  Best wishes to ALL crypto that have good developers and good communities.
