563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP MAKING ALTCOINS on: January 07, 2014, 07:56:26 PM
I actually... kind of like it. Right now there are good opportunities to mine pumped crap and convert into BTC/LTC. If I pick the right coin, I can mine 2-3X worth of LTC than I'd otherwise mine doing straight LTC.

Dont BS, I do the same, most you can do is 1.5x LTC direct mining, thats only if you sell right away. With the way altcoins are dropping fast I wouldve had a lot more if I had directly mined LTC. All my stupid DOGE Im holding on to are worth 1/3 of when I mined them. Garbage after garbage come out. I cant believe with all these altcoins anyone is still buying bitcoin itself.

Maybe im missing something but wtf does a fish have anything to do with this. Old coin looked cool...this one just looks fucktarded.

Fucktard, exactly, more resembles the real piece of trash who jumps on stage and attacks a celebrity and doesn't even get arrested for it.

566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Netcoin | Scrypt | **No Premine** on: January 06, 2014, 10:30:13 PM
Hi There,

As a dedicated miner of Netcoin I just wanted to share my experience with everyone:

I join net.smalltimeminer.com for two weeks and what a big mistake it was. Based on their pool hashrate they are supposed to find twice as many blocks as they actually do. Unfortunately MPOS software is setup to only show the last 20 ~ 25 block times so its hard to extrapolate and I dont trust the 24hour count on there. I was kind of curious as to why I see my RIG should be able to mine about 1200 coins avg (during that particular difficulty) in a 24hour avg (50 coins/hour) and it made max HALF of that. I repeated this test over and over and it was always around 50% return rate. The difficulty is very volatile on Netcoin which makes it hard to calculate but I have done it many times over 1 hour periods and it is consistently 50% of my hasrate. So here I call out the owner of net.smalltimeminer.com to explain where the other 50% of coins (about $7,500 worth daily) are going??

Then I joined bitcoop.tk and I am getting about twice as many coins as before. I am actually surprised to see how fast I get coins coming through.

Anyway, I dont know either of these websites or the owners of them but I just wanted to test my suspicion of pool owners and there it was. Big thefts are going on here in the pools. At least a site like multipool.us steals maybe only 30% of my coins. But 50% is AWEFUL.

Again, the cryptocurrency is a no-man-land so people do whatever they want, steal, hack, lie but this one is absurd.

With all that said, we had a nice pop on Netcoin last week which is starting to fall fast. This coin has great potential with one of the highest trade volumes on Cryptsy and planning on halving in 60 days so if you own it, I recommend you hold on to it for at least 60 days and see what happens. Close your open orders and mine. This has great potential, specially because of no-premine and short name and its prestigeous .org foundation they set up.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: January 06, 2014, 07:03:51 AM
I have recently started using your site and I have to say its really bad. Constantly logs me out, I mean worst than my bank Chase.com. It requires scrolling in every single page. The font size is all over the place. And there is no detail page for mining for single coins. Take a lesson from MPOS and don't try to invent the wheel.

By the way your mining is stuck on DOGE since I joined, there is n switching around. And by the way where is the very popular netcoin? And you have garbage Moon there??? WTF??

568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! WE HAVE LIFTOFF! on: January 03, 2014, 07:06:11 PM

Once it's on the exchanges, more miners mine it and dump like crazy, driving the price down. You ideally want a period of relatively quiet building before going on to large exchanges.

Or you send it straight to Cryptsy and watch it get sold into the ground. Because that's exactly what will happen.

Or the counter argument is that once its on Cryptsy, lots of BTC holders will jump in and buy for a profit. Obviously MOON has a lot more potential to triple than their stupid BTC. That has maxed out and no one should hold on to BTC.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! WE HAVE LIFTOFF! on: January 03, 2014, 05:00:00 PM
Have over 6 mil  MOON transfered  from multipool  and  dedicated ....!!!
Some ppl here want to ruin MOON's great future i think  Wink

Great future? lol Thats funny, even this thread has been abandoned by most people including the OP. The OP is now enjoying his 600 BTC somewhere in the plane flying to Macao

Abandoned? 600 BTC in Macao? In your dreams, buddy. I am right here and I update the thread multiple times per day. Just yesterday evening we released the Mac client (finally).

Thanks for replying. I can't say for sure, and my comment was meant to be a joke, but I personally think this coin netted you at least 30~50 BTC. I am personally upset because I spent tremendous effort into making sure my RIG is up and running on a MONDAY MORNING when I was at a meeting and had to constantly get in and out to log in to my RIG remotely and check on crappy pools and CGMiner. And then there was delay and the pools I joined never produced a single coin for an hour and difficulty was at 100+ by then, no point mining anymore at the rate of $0.20/day worth when my electricity costs $5/day.

If you create a successful coin, I think you should be entitled to some pre-mining to at minimum reimburse you for the time you spent on creating and promoting the coin, creating and hosting the site (hopefully a .org), maybe at 0.10BTC/hour rate. So if you spent a week on it and you make 4 BTC plus expenses you deserve it.

If you truly didn't make 50+ BTC like people here claim (600M premining), then I hope you spend time fixing this instead of abandoning it and creating a new one. Because you know well if you don't get this coin promoted by Jan 7th or 8th (this weekend) then Coinye will take all the hashing power and pools attention along with it.

What you need to do is to put pressure on BTer, Cryptsy, Coinchoose, Multipool to acknowledge and include your coin. AND BY THIS WEEKEND. I mean Multipool has your coin but its obscure and buried down at the bottom. It costs Crypsty nothiong to show your coin, but it doesnt (and it shows CAT which is not profitable to mine at all). Also make a prestigious .org site, something with class like a wiki and a forum. Use all open source. If you are a pro, then it should take you two days at most.

So here is your game plan to redeem yourself. Just for your own good, not us. I bet almost no one knows you in person here. Maybe it will reward you nicely when MOON hits .00000100, I promise not to sell my coins until Jan 11th Coinye debut.

Why the hell bunch of morons sell it so cheap, if it's not profitable to do that!? Most of ppl gave offert with value 0.00000015 and don't move lover, but there is part of idiot's witch ruin it...

Because they got out and dont want to be bagholders like me holding on to hundreds of thousands I couldve sold for 15 and now I have to settle for 03 or 02 by tomorrow.

Thats why. Those people got in, mined, converted to BTC and moved back to DOGE. Some like you and I are still still here watching it drop to 1 satoshi.

use www.coinex.pw for trading MOON

Not until you state what the withdrawl fees are with an example. Fees to bring money in, fees to trade and fees to take money out.

So can someone tell me what the withdrawl fees are at coinex?

Last time I withrdrew 0.15 LTC from cryptsy they charged me 0.04 thats like 30% fee OUCH!

BTW: MOON is now trading at 0.00,00,00,07 BTC.

It should soon get down to ZERO in an hour or so, its been dropping steady since 0.xx15, how do they trade it after that? Could coinex say 1,000,000 MOON = 0.00,00,00,01 BTC?
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One GPU always goes SICK no matter how many cards in rig [SOLVED] on: January 01, 2014, 02:01:30 PM
I have 4 Sapphaires and similar motherboard (last digits are 55 not 80). I saw the problem when the monitor was actually connected. Then I disconnected the monitor and restarted it and the problem went away. Then an hour later (this is all in the past few hours, I just set the system up) I had an accidental power disconnect and bam one card is hashing at 80 again, the rest are 729. Pretty frustrating. I think this is power related. I get a driver error (Load MM Driver has stopped working) before this all happens with the screen freezing for a second and flashing. Cant find the issue. Did a few cold reboots and problem is there. Swapped cables on PSU and swapped the risers and no change.

I have three cards on risers and one directly on MB. I dont know which one is 0-3 in cgminer but the one failing is always 1 and sometimes it says SICK in the hashrate part.

I also run logmein to remote desktop and its Win 8.1 machine with Catalyst 13.11

I just went to control panel and attempted to disable GPU 1 and now its gone from the list. Not sure how to bring it back.

Hello Admins,

I just wanted to say that it would be nice if there was somewhere written in this forum telling me that I cant post anywhere other than the newbie section so I wouldnt waste 5 days frustratedly looking for the REPLY button, searching in my member profile for clues or hint of why I cant post. Not a very sweet way to welcome newbies but hey Im here! Finally I found out how and where I can post.

I am new to the virtual currency thing and man it looks like its a hackers world, multiple levels of protections and captchas, every single pool owner seems deceitful and stealing, and the general sense of untruthfulness is just mind boggling. Add that to the fact that majority of the english speaking people here are from all over the world and the english, specially the British slang, is so confusing.

Hello World! and Happy New Year!
