561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto currency ready for next season??? on: April 04, 2020, 08:10:12 PM
After some surge in price value from the past few weeks the price is slowly increasing, Is that a sign of Bull??

BTC showed some positive signs followed by other altcoins, lookalike this is the best time for Investing before halving and we are almost nearing it. Guys if ETH goes above $150 I am sure it will bounce back harder...

Yes, Bitcoin showed positive signs in which the price increased thus bringing hope to the crypto market, nevertheless I think it would be too fast to justify the presence of bulls for now. Let's not be too fast to forget the pandemic which is currently in the world and with this leads to different emotions in the market which can have adverse effects on the prices of coins. If am to air my opinion, I would say let's wait for more days to be sure while being hopeful of a favourable market soon.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of cryptocurrency exchange hacks on: April 04, 2020, 08:00:08 PM
This is really a long list and I just got wind of exchanges which I never knew were hacked, thanks for this information. From the list I saw top exchanges thus showing that even they (that is top exchanges) are not free or safe from hacks neither is users assets secured; this yet goes to prove that no matter the exchange, funds should never be stored on them. Since we are responsible for our decisions which also reflects on our assets that is to say we ought to take caution by storing the assets on personal wallets.

564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ethereum Wallets on: April 03, 2020, 08:54:07 PM
This is a nice and informative list which can really educate people on how best to go about Ethereum wallets and which to use in order to be free from scammers. For the mobile application, I have used all the wallets apart from Jaxx. I first started with Imtoken, then moved to Coinomi then Enjin and currently Trust wallet. Of all these wallets, Trust wallet seems to be the better one although Enjin is a real and close competitor. But the good thing is, with these wallets, assets security is achieved so far the neccessary backup keys or mnemonic phrases are saved correctly.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: April 03, 2020, 08:37:41 PM
That has been the order of the day now, and sadly enough almost nothing can be done about it. They always add that, they can change the rules if they pleases and they won't say anything about it till the end of the bounty campaign then they will start enforcing rules which will please them which ranges from extending payment to locking payment or even not paying at all while giving excuses and when asked you will be banned. A project which struggles to have a successful sale and afterwards reduce allocation is justifiable and vice versa.
Any project which finds it hard paying for workdone lacks trust and reliability and if a project is not ready for any campaign, then they shouldn't launch it in the first place.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The One Coin That Can Compete with Bitcoin and Ethereum on: April 03, 2020, 08:19:04 PM
Till date Bitcoin is seen as the king of the crypto space why? Because should you ask someone about cryptocurrencies the first you will hear is Bitcoin; whether the person knows enough about crypto or not, most of the times that's the answer he/she will give. This goes to show that, other coins needs to prove themselves as well.
In my own opinion, bitcoin has no competitors because none can overcome or outperform it anyway. Also, I know about Cardano, in fact it is one of the few good coins in existence but yet I wouldn't say it will outperform Bitcoin now or in the future. This also applies to Ethereum, their team is already working on improving the blockchain and it swept across the entire space, this is one of the things that matters.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store theta token? on: April 02, 2020, 11:22:50 AM
Paper wallet, hardware wallet are all good, but, do you have Trust wallet? It is actually one of the best multi-cryptocurrency wallet we have today. You can try it out, it is easy, convinent as well as supports a good variety of other tokens and coins. Just a quick heads up, always ensure you take neccessary steps to secure your wallet and assets. For more future help about theta and questions always consult their website or telegram group for more enlightenment, because they know the best.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty group is dead on: March 31, 2020, 06:02:22 PM
Some gift channel groups that no longer function, can they no longer be trusted as managers so that no projects will be managed by them?
Although some of these telegram groups are popular with the gifts they managed before.

@qqwx_bounty
@arnobs_bounty
@KrypitalBounty
@RoyalTeamBounty
@Officialbountyportals
@topbountymanager
@bountiesbybernard
@bountygroupp
@bingobounties
@bountiesbykopisusu
@bountycloud
@bountyhive
@adsistmediabounty
@BountySuiteSupport

If there is no bounty that is good both for the manager and hunters, the group will go mute, this is just the way it is and I don't see any problems with it. Also, it is good to know that nowadays there are many bounty managers which then makes most bounty groups busy and others silent. Last year there were many bounty managers who managed several bounties but since this year, they are yet to have any while there are others just coming up and already running more than one (1) bounties. Therefore I can say, not having bounty to manage at the moment shouldn't reduce the trust level of bounty managers, moreover it is better and more importantly to manage good bounties than managing bad ones.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: March 31, 2020, 05:54:00 PM
Nowadays, there are thousands of coins & token available in the CoinMarkectCap but 99% of the coins & tokens are worthless, and selecting the potential cryptocurrency project is a bit more difficult due to many scam projects. So, in this article consist of the 20 Best cryptocurrencies to invest in 2020 without any hesitation. Also, you can prove the performance of recent history.

If you are looking to invest in a new cryptocurrency project, check out the https://www.btcbeginners.com/best-cryptocurrency-to-buy

You did a good job by sharing the link as well as your idea but yet no matter what, Bitcoin is seen, considered and known as the best coin to hold because it creates a level of trust among users and also during trying times in the crypto space it offer a higher chance of recovery which most users wants. From your list there is ETH which is good as it is also considered the best altcoin to hold, but I couldn't find Stellar lumens and Binance coin, in my own understanding they are worth the attention too. So my list is, BTC, XLM, ETH, LTC and BNB.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance may acquire the Coinmarketcap by 400 Million USD! on: March 31, 2020, 05:41:51 PM
It seems Binance is dealing with the Coinmarketcap by 400 Million USD! If it gets done then this will be one of the biggest deals in crypto history! Anyone who has an idea about the crypto industry knows the CMC name and use it! Such an important tool it is! Though CMC has a bad reputation for helping scammers! But overall, Do you think this deal will be positive for the crypto? Don't you think 400 Million is too much for the CMC?

News source: https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/60371/binance-is-set-to-acquire-coinmarketcap-the-deal-could-be-worth-as-much-as-400-million

I value Binance exchange as one of the best exchanges at the same time I respect the team for always trying to ensure they offer the best, but I think going for this is bad for the entire space. Binance is an exchange and should remain as such, acquiring coinmarketcap will only but give rise to more manipulation from them because all their doings will be for the benefit of their platforms and those who aren't in accordance with what they want might face backlashes. I think this is time for coingecko to step up as people and platforms will try to seek a coinmarket which is somewhat independent.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will crypto space look like? on: March 30, 2020, 09:07:02 PM
What will crypto space look like if all the coins we have now is just 20 pieces? And that is it, no thousands or hundreds allow, I wonder how profitable they will be because there will be badass huge volume and huge investors too, I think crypto problem is the quantity of coins we have

This is really true, less number of coins means that there will be enough competition among these coins which will cause the team to keep working hard so as to be relevant thus leading to more volume and more investors just like you pointed out. Yes, one of the problems of crypto is the quantity of coins in which many where created and used as a means to scam, some for pump and dump; of which we have seen many of them. Also, from the thousands of coins out there in the crypto space only a lesser few actually knows what it means to be in crypto and such coins are the ones constantly growing and attracting more users.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the new method of "Initial offering" this year? on: March 30, 2020, 08:53:39 PM
I am sure that this year the crypto market will not only recover, but will also be able to present us with an opportunity to earn. In 2017 and 2018, ICO were very popular - this is when new projects themselves raised funds, and then were placed on exchanges and brought (or did not bring) profit to their investors. In 2019, IEO became popular - this is when new projects entered into agreements with exchanges that raised funds and subsequently opened trading pairs with the coins of these projects.
All the people who started investing at the time of the popularity of ICO and IEO were able to earn good money.
What do you think will be the new "Initial offering" method this year?
It seems to me that this year nothing new will be invented and towards the end of the summer new IEO's will gain popularity.

Finding a cure for this virus is the highest thing on everyone's mind because it is someone who is alive that can think of any innovation. Many people are still buying more bitcoin, USDT and even moving to fiat so as to be on the right side if situation gets worst. Also, with the current nature of the world I do not think there will be a new method of Initial offering this year as no one is ready for it. And moreover, IEO is still serving a good purpose thus I just imagine what the new method will offer.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: March 29, 2020, 08:19:00 PM
About the first question, Yes, Bitcoin halving will have an impact just like it has always done. One thing to understand is, crypto has come to stay and once this virus spreading comes to a halt or rather a cure suffice things will take the right shape. Secondly, it is a virus and therefore have nothing to benefit anyone than pains and anguish. Thirdly, projects will have no other option than to delay listing, but I think they can still go ahead with development, although it depends on the team. Fourthly, so far there are projects launching, i think there will be bounties.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 29, 2020, 07:55:16 PM
The question you should answer or rather ask yourself is, what level of trust do you have in the altcoins you are holding? People who are holding BTC or ETH will hardly be disturbed because they believe in the coins as well as knowing that once the market changes positively they will have a greater chance of recovering than most coins. Thus, check the coin to know if you have to sell or hold. At this juncture, holding potential good coins is the best thing or rather stay in USDT while waiting for good entry point.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: March 29, 2020, 07:47:57 PM
Since I've ranked up to junior member I decide to start my bounty hunting journey and after spending hours on bounty section on this forum I was shocked that no single bounty is of high quality and worth my time, all I see is projects going for crap exchanges like ChainX and another one called leadwallet that wants to raise fund using ChainX and all team members are Nigerians, really? And many members are promoting such project? The good projects are over or I'm missing something?

Aren't there bounty projects that list on gate.io, binance, okex, huobi ? ChainX, p2pb2b, exmarket and others like these exchanges will only drag the project down, are bounty hunters blind or just too stupid to do research?

Currently, there are no good bounties or let me say, there are very limited number of good bounties and this can be attributed to the nature of the world now as a result of this devastating virus; even most projects are yet list as they are all waiting for a favourable market. Also, in this hard times it is better to be careful as scammers might use this opportunity to carryout their plans. In the same way, good you have noticed that most projects listing on P2PB2B etc are only but wasting their time which invariably means they are not good enough.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: March 28, 2020, 10:53:22 PM
Coronavirus is the reason why market is in very bad shape, it will be very stupid to exit because of this while others are making good choice presently, many are already saying it's the end for crypto but the fact is Bitcoin died several times in the past and it's still alive today, do not be fooled by those who don't understand the technology

Yes that's right, this virus is not making things easier in anyway rather it is making countries to make tougher decisions. Now back to the cryptocurrency world, just like the virus is affecting the entire world it is also doing same to crypto as it is also piloted by humans. Also, I think most people are exiting trades or altcoins they don't trust for Bitcoin, stablecoins or other potential altcoins but saying that Bitcoin or the crypto space will die is a funny thing to say; Bitcoin has seen many bear markets and yet it survived all and still standing till today.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: March 28, 2020, 10:35:16 PM
Your first paragraph is straight to the point, as it shows that only pump and dump developers or those who aren't ready to offer anything good would list on those exchanges. Since time past Latoken is known as an exchange which never gives a project the opportunity to grow, even token sales on that exchange don't always end well. In addition to Latoken, from my own angle, P2PB2B and Vindax are also not worth it as projects always don't do well there. In all ramifications, you are right with your list, and developers should also learn to do the right thing unless of course they don't care about any development but are after pump and dump or they are scammers.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 28, 2020, 10:20:31 PM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations

I agree with you but to an extent. Yes it is not easy to be a developer as it comes with a lot of responsibilities and obligations, but yet there have been successful projects which contributed to this space, so the question is, what did the developers did differently? The answer is, they are after success which they went after till it's gotten. So any upcoming project struggling can take a leaf from the successful ones and meet up with what's expected of them especially when public sale was successful.

580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 27, 2020, 09:26:14 PM
After reading few posts on this forum today I became confused because and I decide to let it out to get answers in return, is it possible for altcoins to grow (altcoin season) without Bitcoin? I'm not talking about pumps like if a coin get burned off it's max supply or if listed on binance and other top exchanges, I'm talking about every altcoins surging on their own without Bitcoin taking the first step...
 Share your thoughts, I would love to hear you out

Yes it's possible, there is a reason why it is called altcoin season and that is, it is the time when altcoins surge in price. During this season, it means people are now buying more of altcoins than Bitcoin hence the reason for its price surge, in the same way, altcoins can surge together with Bitcoin. Also, it is important to know that, at this level or growth of this space, when altcoin season sets in, it will be for selected altcoins; that is, altcoins which are worth it, altcoins which already have working products and so on. So while clamouring for altcoin season, ensure to hold good coins.
