I've retired my mining rigs, but have been a purchaser since the listing on bittrex. I believe I was the 4th person to purchase some and have continued to do so when I feel the price is a little low.
Will continue to support and buy as long as I have extra btc floating around.

I hold a fair XC position and I do also hold a position in QBK. The news of collaboration (on a similar feature) with QBK could have been accepted better amongst the masses alot better if it was presented properly. The way it took place allowed for uncertainty amongst some as it was not prepared by syn or teka like we are used to.
I write this drunk on the couch on my phone btw. This in my eyes is a slight flaw which can be overlooked. To others they would imterpret that this was performed unprofessionaly. Either way it is what it is. Battbot has been a supporter since day 1 and silverking is also very devoted to this cause. If battbot was to ask questions I would not see it as fud but as a reasonable concern. Silverking is just mildly over defensive as he is a part of XC. Rightfully so as what has just happened
We are fightimg to accomplish the same good. Lets not rip each others dicks off along the way

Here is my 2 cents about all of this.
Spending the money to add Anon features seems like a bit of a waste, this coin isn't geared towards anon nor does it need to be. Now i know your all going to come in and say "Hey, but it was voted for"
Well.. It was.. But it was voted for by anyone who came in here and clicked a fuckin radio button. The way i would have preferred to see it done would have been for once the ico is completed and investor names or whatever is taken then the people with stake in this coin have the voice to vote for what should be done with this money. As it stands, we are paying btc out for anon features that john dick and harry from wherever with no stake in this coin have voted for. I don't say this to be slanderous but from a logical stand point the investors who put money up should have the say in the features added (that our btc will be paying for) not randoms who show up in here and decide to click a radio button.
Burning the coins? Meh, i could take it or leave it. From my stand point it seems like a waste, but people who type big paragraphs about math will surely prove me wrong or something.
I am a strong believer in qiwoman, silverking and jtgangus and that is why my faith has not shifted. I still believe this coin can do some great things once some wise investments are made and good decisions are made. We just need to make sure the decisions we are voting on are done by us the investors and not the entire btctalk community who may or may not have any invested interest in this coin.
It is only a few days after ICO and price is down, but this is just growing pains. A few iffy issues out the gate which will need to be resolved. Once we get back to where we need to be and we let our team work its magic I have full confidence we will be back at a stable price point where investors dont feel the need to dump to retain a % of their initial investment.

I was actually thinking about that post today as I was looking at the 90 day charts. I wonder if the "mysterious whale" is someone with the same mindset, keeping the price at just the right level for just the right amount of time to entice and involve larger investors. For the altcoin scene, yeah, we've come quite a way (and quickly at that) but I'd imagine traditional investment firms that focus on technology need a more complete product first. I mean, only in the altcoin world can you make promises only and watch your price surge 40-400% in days, only to watch it whither to nothingness when even the slightest thing goes awry (or for no reason other than whales wanting to dump and take profits). XC just feels like a straight up business that provides products of a business class. Most other coins just reek of dirty laundry, 3 day old pizza, and half-empty bottles of mountain dew, even if there are some decent ideas here and there. I feel like a serious investors with serious money are the ones most likely to take a look at XC, and someone out there other than us knows it . I'll take a long period of stability, and then an eventual surge in price over all the other crap that the altcoin scene has to offer. +1, If I was sober I would have expressed the same sentiment. Maybe with a couple profanities splashed here and there for effect. You hit that bang on sir. |

Shadow coin has none of the features we have, it has some sort of "EM" and may have a mobile wallet on thursday. None of its "features" have really been tested vigorously or gone under expert scrutiny. I am by no means FUDing this coin I am merely saying it is leagues behind what we have here at XC. Still might be money to be made there either way. |
