561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: October 09, 2017, 04:01:13 PM
If you are risk avoiding person then invest is good for you but invest in a secure investment policy. In the other case if you are risk lover gambling is good.
Investing also has some risks, you can't avoid it(especially if one invests blindly).

If you are a millionaire then you should start gambling you will get rich sooner.
If i'm a millionaire, i wouldn't gamble much. i would invest in real estate or some business if i had that kinda of money. Smiley

I am so happy to hear that. I too have a similar dream as i will shift the millionaire from bitcoin to real life asset like real estate or stocks. I will still keep a portion in crypto currencies as i still believe that crypto is the future of the world.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: October 09, 2017, 03:59:59 PM
Personally, i pefer to play slot game only in real life. This is because in the real casino, the slot machine gives very striking dynamic movements and loud attention catching noise that makes winning super exciting. People will come and see and congratz you for winning.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: October 09, 2017, 03:58:26 PM
I used to be easily affected by the price of the bitcoin to control my gambling needs. However, some time ago, i have shifted from gambling bitcoin to gambling dogecoin. Two of the best things about dogecoin are that the supply is huge and the price is stable in satoshi.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Gambling Industry So Successful in the World? on: October 03, 2017, 11:15:54 AM
Gambling industry is a huge market in itself but there are a lot of barrels and regulations so it is not easy to enter the market and have a piece of the pie. On the other hand, btc casino can easily get into the market and profit off from it easily and people are also free to gamble without much restriction. That is why the btc casino industry is growing at a rapid pace and more and more btc casinos are appearing.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: October 03, 2017, 11:13:59 AM
I dont really like to play slot in online casino. However, i like to play slot machine in real world casino. It is because in the real world, you can see the mechanism moves and there will be actions, loud noise, stunning graphics to make the gaming more exciting especially when you get the bonus upon bonuns. I have seen people winning like 800spins and it keeps raining coins for hours. Even the watchers are excited for the player.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: October 03, 2017, 11:11:31 AM
Although, investing could be considered like gambling, answer is simple for me. When invest, it's on you where will and on what will you invest. But when gambling, you depend on players who play matches, or from the system if you are in casino..
Investing is the better choice to have a high profit, but if you want to earn bitcoin or money for short time you can choose gambling. However, it is too much risky than investing, because your chance to earn income in this kind of job is so little.

I would even recommend to gamble if you want to earn bitcoin, because you will end up losing most of the time to be even considered as a way of earning. And investment to have high profit is also not very possible most of the time. Even if you invest in bitcoin casino, the profit is only about 50% or 20% per year which is consider high as compare to real world stock but it is still consider low when we talk about the growth in crypto market.

Rarely we see a casino to close business and say goodbye to us. This is because a casino business if run properly is a very profitable kind of business. I think it is much better to invest as you have higher chances to win, you only sit back and wait with what happens with the players in the casino where you have invested. It is less risky then gambling.

I totally agree with you. The game is made to let us lose but in exchange we get entertainment values. So when you are playing, the odds are against you and you are more likely to lose, but if you are investing in casino, the odds are now working in your favour as the money loses by the players, you are tends to gain from it.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: October 03, 2017, 11:05:54 AM
When it comes to gambling, a lot of people who are not superstition in daily lives also become more superstition. Some of the example that they do like wearing lucky charms, or prefers not to sushi or read a book before gambling as they sound alike with 'lose' in certain languages. I also tends to see people try to rub the screen of the slot machine in hoping that they will get good pulls when everything is programmed.

571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on cryptocurrencies prices on: September 22, 2017, 05:57:29 AM
You can try polo or etoro. Polo let you short or long btc. Whereas etoro let you own the currencies for a small amount of money. Bitfinex may also have margin trading and there is way more coins than just btc for you to play with.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: September 22, 2017, 05:54:07 AM
I will have a limit of stop loss for my gambling daily. I also have a stop win. So in the case i win, i will use the profit for more gambling needs.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: September 22, 2017, 05:39:58 AM
Gambling is a form of entertainment. It is ok to gamble if you are playing with what you can afford to lose. Same for stock, play with what you can afford to lose and it is going to be fine.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: September 17, 2017, 04:32:40 PM
For gambling, you have no control over the outcome. So it is purely base on luck. However, if you are trading, you have reduce your losses, like stop loss, and research wisely so that those you invest in will have much higher chance to profit. In this way, your chance of success is a lot higher and you have control on the outcome.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins needed for martingale on: September 17, 2017, 04:30:56 PM
Regardless how many bitcoin you have, as long as the house edge exist, the expected value for any kind of martingale or bankroll is always negative. That means, you will lose in the long run.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: September 17, 2017, 04:28:24 PM
Bitcoin has grown so much that i dont really gamble in bitcoin anymore. I prefer to gamble with dogecoin or claims. I also prefer to gamble in casino that register as mbtc instead of btc cause i dont like small numbers like 0.001btc. Although it is just visual effect, gambling suppose to be a leisure that make you happy.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the future of gambling on: September 17, 2017, 04:25:58 PM
I think that the future of gambling will develop and improve along with other modern technologies. Every day they try to develop something new in this area.

Yeah I agree with you mate.. since it's done online it's really possible that it will grow throughout the years.. even the games are much better than going to a land based casinos. And I think more gamblers will use bitcoins in the future since it's safer also.

First, you dont have the restriction that you faced when you gamble in real life.
2nd, it is very easy to access to gambling. You dont have to travel for hours just to reach the place and you can gamble at the comfort of your house.
578  Economy / Services / Re: Escrow services | NEM tokens | Dimcoin trading center on: September 17, 2017, 04:18:00 PM
Lol, rank tells you nothing, one member here was scammed by the guy with senior rank. His account was probably hacked as his email was changed. People with legendary rank are only strangers with old accounts, which may be hacked or not. This week like 4 legendary accounts were sold here on bitcointalk forum... I am not trying to promote myself, but one possible way is to choose people who are publicly known. Real face can worth more than hundred of dollars.

lorylore, you really have no regards... I never had a bad opinion of my services, I escrowed deals for total amount of 1BTC+ just in last week, a lot of them for free and you are bashing me in my own topic. Man, aren't you ashamed?

Hi tongokongo. Thanks for voicing out your opinion. Do allow me to clarify the situation better so we have a better understanding of one another.

First, i would like to highlight that rank is not a sole factor that determines whether if the person is trustable or not. I do know of legendary people scamming people. However, it should also be known that the higher the rank, the more valuable is his rep. A senior rank is actually worth not much, and can be quite easily replaced.
2nd, I hope you understand that i never downplay you at all. Rank is not the singular factor to determine everything. I totally agree with you that accounts can be bought and can be used to scam people. And you have put in considerate effort to prove to us that you are a great candidate for escrow services. I would value you with more trust than others with even higher rank than you.
3rd, I did not quote what post that i am responding to. I was trying to respond to allycn about him being scam. Not just come in and target you. I am sorry if that has cause some misunderstanding from you.

I have re-read what i post again, and i really do not find element of 'bad opinion of my services' or 'bashing me in my own topic'. I wish that you also can understand where i am coming from. Once again, i want to emphasis that i have recognised your effort and contribution for a long time (iirc, you even post on dimcoin trading telegram). From my post, i never have a single intention of promoting myself or downplaying you, but i am just trying to state that rank can be a considerable factor if anyone want to deal with a random stranger and did not use any escrow services. Personally, i would recommend to use escrow service with reputable person.

I have lost track of this thread for a while and i am glad to find it back. The 43btc investment started earlier den i expected and i am extremely excited for this new project. I have been following this thread for a long time and i really hope you can shoot pass to 1mil. Cheers.
580  Economy / Services / Re: Escrow services | NEM tokens | Dimcoin trading center on: September 16, 2017, 04:28:57 PM
I am not trying to promote myself but one possible way is to select people with higher rank. For someone with legendary rank, their reputation can worth more than hundred of dollars. So it is more rare to scam people who are buying hundred of dollars of dimcoin/dimtoken from them.
