561  Local / India / India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: November 23, 2023, 05:59:48 AM
We don't want to cricket fever to end just because of the world cup's final defeat and cricket has always been the most celebrated thing in India, so this self moderated thread will be the continuation of our ICC World Cup 2023 - India discussion and this can be used for discussions and predictions about all the future events related to team India in cricket.

Started as Self moderated thread to prevent spam...

Fixtures of 5 T20I between India vs Australia which starts from today.
562  Local / India / Re: How many of us check the Child Boards within our Local Board? on: November 22, 2023, 05:16:26 PM
I am aware of childboard activity in our Local board which is pretty negligible and most of them are really ghosted for years and even our main board starts growing only in the recent path so concentrating now in childboards is not my priority and I feel some of the childboards are not really needed anymore for example altcoin board which should be merged with main discussion altcoin sections because the cryptos are not limited to borders so I don't know why we need one.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 22, 2023, 03:37:19 PM
Hardik Pandya could not return to the team due to injury, so the Indian cricket team selected Suryakumar Yadav as the captain. It is as if India has reorganized the T20 team. Many key players have been rested. Rohit, Virat, KL Rahul, Bumrah, Shami, Jadeja, Kuldeep are not in the team. They are rested. So Surya Kumar Yadav has an important responsibility. India is going to play against Australia without some important batsmen. It remains to be seen how well India can do against Australia as the 2023 World Cup champions.

This young squad has been taken based on their domestic records so there is no doubt that they are potential players for the upcoming T20 WC next year and starting from this series India will be looking for making the perfect squad for that tournament.

Interesting fact is this squad is filled with mostly left hand batters while the WC squad failed to have one in the middle order so looking forward to see how the young team is gonna approach the team that is coming out from WC win.

Can India make the dent straight away on Australia?
564  Local / India / Re: ICC World Cup 2023 - India discussion on: November 22, 2023, 01:40:19 PM
Lets make sure the Cricket fever continues.
Cricket fever choked Billions of hearts on Nov 19th. Lips sealed

BTW, I would also like to continue to the cricketting discussion about team India and maybe creating a self moderated thread will be better choice than continuing this one considering the future aspect and avoid any spam invaders. Let's hear from other folks too before creating one.

Tomorrow will be the first T20I between India and Australia, but obviously team India is going with zero world cup players if I am not wrong and young bloods may take some revenge for WC final's defeat. Wink

Edit:

Squad: Ishan Kishan(w), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Suryakumar Yadav(c), Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Mukesh Kumar, Washington Sundar, Avesh Khan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Jitesh Sharma

Ishan, SKY and Prasidh will be WC squad members and Iyer will join the squad for 4th and 5th T20I.
565  Local / India / Re: Prefered crypto exchange in India? on: November 22, 2023, 05:00:34 AM
I am not using any exchange since the implmentation of taxation but when I want to convert INR then I go with Paxful now where TDS is not mandatory from many traders and also you no need to mark it as revenue from cryptos which is the loophole but if you are using indian based exchange like Wazirx or others then all the data will be shared with income tax so if you didn't pay your taxes then you may face legal issues later.

I am not sure about the situation with Binance because its not operating from India also most of the Indian crypto users use Binance for their trades and only government knows that those users are paying their taxes or not.

Pitch was not that hard but today I think the day is not of India, Today was the Australian Team day and they did their job in some style, while also a good fortune also helps in cricket. Not even in just cricket but in everything especially the Fortune plays an important role.
The opener was amazing from the side of Australia which puts them to a success and won the World Cup for the Australia. Never though a World Cup Final from the Indian Team like this.

Indian Team were brilliant on all the stats, if we talked about their bowling and their batting and mostly they are also good at fielding but they were failed to bat good today thus they fail to reach the target they were given.

I would disagree that the about the Pitch, its slow and dead that is why Indian batters can't able to rotate that is why even AUS bowleed at 140kmph the Kohli got the inner edge instead of middling it for the point. The same goes for KL and everyone that is also the reason why AUS lost 3 wickets early but as I said after 15 overs the dew came in then the ball started to came on to the bat nicely then Head took the match away from India.

@Gladitorcomeback, Is this the score tie at number 3 and 4 or just decided as 3 and 4. I see the numbers are same but not highlighted so I am not sure I made it to top 3 or not. One time prediction made hell a lot of difference at the end and I am really depressed right now after watching the whole tournaments that India is favorite to win this trophy but again Aussies nailed us in the coffins as they said.
569  Local / India / Re: ICC World Cup 2023 - India discussion on: November 20, 2023, 10:20:53 AM
The toss was an important factor, if and only if India had won the toss the outcome would be different yesterday. Next year we will be watching the T20WC and I hope India wins under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya.

During toss Rohit was asked what would have he chose if he had won the toss and he replied to bat first. So, I mean result would have been still the same even if India had won the toss.

Team India didn't analyze the condition properly also they thought dew won't be an affecting factor but that was the whole mattered in the match, that is why Rohit said we would have batted first. On the other hand Australia were on point on everything and simply they did the big game preparation and also it was visible in every move they made and every wicket they took.

Only trump card was Rohit and they don't have any plan for him but also they knew that his approach of batting will them give chances so their only point is never lose the catch. Still can't digest and depressed to be honest. Lips sealed

Brilliant bowling have been bowled by the Australian Bowlers today, how amazingly they bowled to a team which have their home ground and even they didn't lost even a single match. Massive win for the Team Of Australia, their coach must be appreciated as he works very hard with them and they all today stand and delivered and especially we have seen a massive innings from the Australian opening batsmen Travis Head. Who hits the sixes and got the win for the Australian Team today and they all were amazing during their previous matches. But the inning I have seen today from Travis Head was amazing.

Although bad luck for a team like India today, winning all the matches of the World Cup but lost in the last match of the World Cup which is the result of all matches but they failed to do so. Better luck next time though.
Team Australia did their job perfectly, even though there is drastic change in the batting condition between first innings and second innings which helped Australian batters after the 15 overs, they held their nerves when the whole stadium is supporting India which needs such mental strength.

Where India lost their match is in their batting they only scored 4 boundaries between the over 10 and 50. Is that pitch that really hard?

571  Local / India / Re: ICC World Cup 2023 - India discussion on: November 19, 2023, 04:59:24 PM

HeartBreaking moment for every Indian cricket fans. Cry

AUS beat us by 6 wickets and they did it like how we did to every teams in the league stage and semi final. I don't know where we lost in this match but definitely Australia created their momentum with their fielding and carried it away through the match.

Kudos to every Indian players who gave their everything and just one bad day can't lower your standards. Gotta feel for the hitman he did what he supposed to do throughout the tournament and played for the team in every match.

India vs Australia, Final

Toss win: India
Team: India
Best Batsmen: KL Rahul
Best bowler: Muhammad Shami
Most sixes: Rohit Sharma
Most Fours: Virat Kohli

The day we all waited has arrived and the feeling of excitement is amazing on the other side little bit of tension too as Indian fan. Hope India will do what they did in all their matches. Am I the only one expecting R.Ashwin today? Because he is excellent with left handers and both Aus openers were left handers so if he can pick those wickets then the match eventually will into India's side.

Congratulations to the great and mighty Australian cricket team, 5 times World Cup Champions for making finals! I really admire their determination never to admit defeat and play every ball as if they'll win. Who knows, they might become the 6th-time world cup champions this time! But, this time around, Australia will have to face India. Indians are determined to win at any cost, meaning, they won't let go of the trophy easily. It's going to be an exciting ODI World Cup Final.

You are right when the World Cup started, it didn't look like Australia would even qualify for the World Cup semi-finals. In the beginning, Australia's batting and bowling performance was very poor and it didn't look like this is an Australian team that has won five times, but in the later matches, Australia's batsmen showed the performance to make every match as final.

Even now Australia didn't do as team in all the matches they won, there were some close competition and some individual great performances like Maxwell's 200 but their middle order is pretty weak and not 5 bowlers performed as Indian bowlers that is what the difference in this current AUS team comparing to their past.

But anything can happen in cricket so hopefully India will run through Australia just like that.

Comparing past stats is pretty useless at the moment, we need to compare both the current teams at the moment and its definitely India but Aussies got never give up attitude and 5 time championship behind maybe a morale support but the match is gonna be at Ahmedabad where whole 130K people will chant against you and its additional support for team India.

Do you think that only chant will help India to win final? In latest Asia cup played in SRILANKA Colombo stadium final all stadium was full of SRILANKA fans but what they did? SL whole team out on 50 runs and India win the final in six overs. This is must win game for both team. There is no room for any mistake. If India loss tomorrow all their 10 match unbeaten will not give them trophy.

I didn't say fans support is enough for team India to win the match but it will definitely affect the opposition even players agreed to it. I said about from team persepctive itself India is stronger and more complete while AUS have more weaklinks like in their middle orders, lack of controlling runs in the middle overs, etc. One team is gonna win and it will be definitely the one who played better cricket on that day but all I am saying is India got better edge.

Shouldn't it be "Increased" instead of "Decreased".

Thanks I corrected it after reading your post.

Thanks to @BitcoinSmith for breaking it down! Got a notification of the main thread and, after a bit of scrolling, finally located where I was mentioned.
Our board is doing better than last month, and I am a bit more active this month.
The activity can be increased only via collective contribution so be active here as much as possible, and I want everyone to aim for the leaderboards which is small achievement though. Wink

Just wait till @Hisenberg_Hunter sees this. Grin

576  Local / India / Re: Indian Supreme court rejects PIL to establish regulations for crypto trading on: November 17, 2023, 06:49:36 PM

CJI represents the government of India in the Supreme court. It is already clear that regulation will happen after the central government election. The recently held G20 summit there was a unanimous decision taken by all countries on having a regulation in this industry.
Yes, I can understand that but the judgement could be a little different like the framework will be implemented or its already in process by the government of India so we don't need to discuss like that but I agree with not giving the bail for a scammer and its rare to see scammers get punished in our justice system.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC WORLD CUP 2023 DISCUSSION THREAD! on: November 17, 2023, 05:33:22 PM
The South African bowlers made the match competitive despite giving away a  target of just 213 runs. However, Australian  batsmen batted very  well in the first 10 overs. He scored 74 runs in the first 10 overs. Travis Head's innings of 62 off 48 balls kept Australia in control of the match. However, the match became competitive due to  the poor performance  of the middle order. I expected  a more responsible performance from the Australian batsmen. With such a performance, Australia will not be able to do well against India in the final match. To do well in the final, Australia's batsmen need to do better. India is a very strong team. If the batsmen perform so erratically against India, the attempt will be by a big margin to the Australian team.

South Africa can’t qualify for the final due to their batting and fielding. They couldn’t take very easy catches so they should have loss as a punishment for not playing well and they had, but on the other hand, it is a very sad moment for South Africa because they did very hard work for the World Cup but they can’t make it real,

and South Africa don’t have any good thing because they lost in 2015 World Cup and the captain of that time was Ab de Villars who cried and this time it was Temba Bavumba cried in the stadium because of Semi final loss and not making his team to clear the semi final hurdle.
Their chokers tag has been stuck with them since 1992 and SA produced lot of legends in cricket but everyone failed to bring their team to this big event and they need to wait for another 4 years to make things to change. I wouldn't even blame the batting but their fielding vs Australia is the biggest difference in the demin final and SA dropped 3 to 4 easy chances due to the pressure situation that shows why they never reached big stage in WC.

But their SA spin attack along with Coetzee gave all of their work which made the match to be interesting.

Unfortunately I missed yesterday prediction. There was some error in my laptop and I updated window which tooks my free time. Now I am down to 3rd place. I know I could easily be in top 10 but I am trying to be in the TOP 3. I hope India will win which will also gives me 200 further points. If Shreyad hit 6 sixes in the next match then I will get 200 points more but its not looking to be happen because Rohit Sharma is himself in the great form and he will be try something different in the final.

It's wild to me that you choose Shreyas for most sixes, that is one hell of a good prediction. Otherwise, Rohit and some others would have been default choice for most sixes.
Rohit Sharma will be an idol for Indians in this World Cup as Rohit Sharma gives a great start to a team with the attacking cricket he plays in the opening pair. But if Rohit Sharma survives till the century then maximum sixes can be expected from his bat. Indian cricket is going to get something great from his bat on November 19.
India is very strong team to win this cricket world cup beacuse they have won 10 out of 10 matches in this world cup and remain unbeaten. But Australia has never lost any of the ODI world cup final since 1999 wolrd cup 4 out of 4 finals matches. They lost only world cup from Srilanka from 1996. I think Australia have ability to continue that record of winning finals in this world cup finals against India in Ahmedabad. Australia are favourite to win this world cup 2023

579  Local / India / Indian Supreme court rejects PIL to establish regulations for crypto trading on: November 17, 2023, 08:21:13 AM
The Indian Supreme Court declined to consider a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) that aimed to establish regulations and a framework of guidelines for cryptocurrency trading in India.

According to a report, the bench headed by the Chief Justice of India (CJI), after listening to the plea, remarked that the petitioner’s demands are more legislative in nature. The Supreme Court noted that despite the petitioner filing a PIL requesting regulations and guidelines for cryptocurrency and its trading, the underlying objective is to secure bail.

Significantly, Manu Prashant Wig, the petitioner, is presently held in custody by the Delhi Police in connection to a cryptocurrency case. The Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police filed a case in 2020, accusing Wig of enticing individuals to invest in crypto with promises of higher returns.

Indian Supreme court rejects crypto petition, highlights legislative nature

I understand that the objective of the petitioner is to bail him out of this case but how they can dismiss the case such like that despite being Public interest litigation for crypto framework since its not just included the only person but the whole community. Do you think this can be reopened if someone petitioned for the actual cause and which will push the government further to enact the laws not just tax.

As expected Australia won the crucial match. Very smart bowling from Aussie which didn't allow SA batsmens to free their hands. Whenever Partnership builds SA lost wicket there which slow down the run rate. Now the big game is going to be happened on Sunday. Indian fans will be happy from today result because India and Australia Match is just like watching Pak vs India.
Apart from Australia's bowling the overcast condition is what made things worse, the ball were seamed and swinged for the first 15 overs while AUS bowled which tied the SA batting unit and also they lost 4 wickets with not many run on the board but thanks to Miller and Klassen who played sensible and posted a total to bowl at.

Also they bowled till end and tried everything they can but the scores in the powerplay powers was the actual difference in both the innings and bad luck for SA continues again.

As an Indian its kind of scary too even though Indian team performed extremely well compared to any other team but the next closest team is AUS who is on their 8* unbeaten run after terrible start to the tournament.
