Your advice on investing in cryptocurrency is very amazing. One of the major causes of loses in crypto is greed. I have seen where people lose almost all their capital because of it. Lack of relevant and reliable information on a token is also a great constrain.

The first thing to check is the use case of the project. Is it a utility, security etc token etc. Who and who is in the team. Where are they from. Are they following their road map?

It's a nice idea. But using the manager as the escrow is also risky. Some managers don't distribute all the token that belong to the bounty hunters or don't distribute at all. Escrowing it to the forum moderator(s) to me is more palatable.

Pump and dump emptied my assets in Hotbit exchange. It taught me a scary lesson. I bought SUSHI at $7 per token but I sold it less than a $1. I bought YFIB $29 per token but it is less than a $1 now. I can go on and on. I even invested in some DeFi projects that ran away with our money (investors). Pump and dump is not nice for the business.

I was taught that when I joined blockchain new by my mentor those days. I was once hacked and my btc in an exchange was withdrawn. Why the criminal was able to login to the exchange was because I was using web authenticator extension then, so he has access to it. Nothing discourages as hack in blockchain. Losing your asset in a twinkle of an eye. That was my worst experience in the crypto-space. Don't ever synchronize your Google account with the email you use in registration on several websites.

Any project can succeed, if the team embrace good marketing strategies. Like, we always say in marketing that "packaging is a silence salesman". A sheep (flock) led by a lion can conquer a pride of lion that is led by sheep.

So many crooks are in the business now. I have stopped invest in pre-sales. Some so called DeFi projects dealt with me this year. Some after collecting the money from investors, they will disappear while some will list it on a low quality exchange and walk away.

I can't afford 32eth now but I would have loved to participate in it. Ethereum has been one of the major keep player in cryptocurrency world. Supporting eth and earning something at the end, will be a great deal.

From 2019 to 2020 I made over $2,000 from bounty hunting. I have been involved in some good projects but the ones that did not succeed are more, coupled with some crooked projects that succeed but will never pay hunters. But one the major breakthrough I had this year was the UNISWAP airdrop that gave about $1,200. I still hunt but I don't follow all the projects on the thread.

This was one of the news i red on google this morning. That is really sad. I have made mistakes in sending token/coin but this one is very painful. I feel your pain bro. Be careful next time; always cross check the wallet and gas fee when doing transactions.

Investing in some Alt coins requires brave heart. The feeble should not invest, unless he/she has a good guider. In crypto, you can make x10, you can as well lose your capital.

Not all the above are real; there are scam project inside too. I invested in a DeFi project last month and the ran away with over 60Eth of the investors. When i traced where they moved our Eth to, they already has over $1,480,000 worth of eth in that wallet. Which i know the scammed people. Here is the wallet they moved our eth to 0x910cbd523d972eb0a6f4cae4618ad62622b39dbf. The project name is YFOP. I have enjoyed some DeFi projects but the last 3 invested in, ended in pain.
