561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For sports bettors, are you attracted with bet builder feature? on: November 15, 2023, 01:49:37 PM
I'd say it's harder than parlay bets because you're guessing two or more of your predictions in one match, I prefer to place one bet that has higher risk e.g. over 5.5, heavy underdog etc than picking two conditions.

If you're looking to hit big odds in one match, why not guessing the match score.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 15, 2023, 01:38:03 PM
They dominated in the group stage, and even now they are very comfortable because the remaining 2 matches will not affect them in the group A standings. But more than that, the real test is in the knockout rounds that they will soon play. They will meet the top seeds of the other groups, maybe some teams are not big favorites, but that does not mean they are not a threat to Bayern Munich. That's talking about not the top teams, it will be a different story when they have to meet teams that are equal or even stronger than them, Real Madrid and Manchester City for example and several other teams.
Usually when the team already in the top position and all the remaining matches will not give any impact to them, the coach will use a new strategy or use second line up without looking for win. So I will not be surprised if they're draw or lose against Copenhagen and Manchester United.

Also this time is good for bettor who looking to bet on the underdog.
563  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: November 14, 2023, 03:08:54 PM
I'm telling you, you will definitely get the most loyal posters although the only problem with that is they're quality in posts will not be to the best level.
It's really full of assumption, I don't think they're loyal instead they've tried to apply on other campaign, but got rejected. That's why you see them are loyal since they don't have any option to migrate.

If I were a campaign manager, I would be annoyed by these members whom I accept from among hundreds of other member applications.
The good thing is there are few campaign managers not taking a personal when they faced such people Grin, although they didn't mention if they're fine with that or get annoyed just like what you said above.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sad reality: some countries gamble more than they can afford on: November 11, 2023, 07:18:07 AM
Your comparation isn't make any sense.

Greece is one of unequal wealth distribution, so it means a rich people is very rich while the poor people is really poor. Since the statistic talks about GDP, there's a possibility if only the rich people spent such huge amount of money to gamble, while the poor people aren't gamble too much.

If you want to get a better statistic if Greeks gamble more than they can afford, you need to find how many gamblers in Greece.

We find large asymmetries in the allocation of wealth in Greece: the richest 1% of the population holds roughly as much wealth as the poorest 50%, while the richest 10% holds about four times the wealth of the poorest 50%.

Why would OP put such link. I didnt dare to click it.
It just a hosting image, nothing more. Tongue

If you dare, you can quote his message and check if there's a hidden back link or see the URL in the bottom left before click it.

If you intend to create drama and get caught up in the principle of "don't use CEX, they can freeze your account anytime!"... wtf, bro. You haven't even provided solid proof from an email regarding the account freeze reason.
I don't think that's his intention, actually that was other user saying when they hear about centralized exchange, look there's an user mention that. But there's nothing wrong since this is the risk of using CEX.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 11, 2023, 06:45:22 AM
Tottenham suffered their first defeat at home against Chelsea, I think maybe because Tottenham found it difficult to organize a strategy because they were forced to play with 9 players because 2 of their players received red cards after that Chelsea bombarded Tottenham by breaking into their goal defense with 4 goals.
Playing with 9 players will surely ruin the strategy that they've set up, if they're use strategy that need a lot passing, they can't since the opponent can easily get the ball as the gap between each player become longer.

it seems that Chelsea is indeed very good at facing big teams like Arsenal, Man City, and Spurs, rather than going up against underdog teams, where Chelsea appears to face a bit of difficulty when dealing with teams in the mid to lower rankings in EPL.
Tomorrow Chelsea has a match against Manchester City, let's see what the result. Tongue

he should've made it to Pep Guardiola's first team but how can you drop Rodri for Kalvin Philips? I would consider Pep Guardiola insane!
I believe before the agreement Pep has been tell Philips to become a substitute player except he can play better than the current Manchester City's midfielders. So it's really not make sense to blame Pep here, it's the risk that Philips need to accept.

I assume he will end up with signing for a mid level team in the near future. It would be better for him if he is ambitious to play more often.
He already get a good amount salary in Manchester City, he wouldn't want to feel by getting paid with small salary. He will choose to join other rich league e.g. Saudi Pro League.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: November 11, 2023, 04:47:02 AM
Did not expect Liverpool to lose this match at all. The funny thing is Liverpool actually dominated the match in terms of having possession of the ball. But Liverpool was unable to do much with it. They were able to make things interesting in the end by scoring in the 89th minute of the match. But I have to say performance from the Liverpool was below average. The accuracy needs to be better from Liverpool. I don't know what to say then the fact that this is a match probably nobody expected Liverpool to lose. And at the same time, I have to give credit to Toulouse.
I'm not surprised to see Liverpool lose since they're intentionally did that.

Take a look with their line up where the goalkeeper is Kelleher, not Becker. They also give a chance for Doak to play and few of their quality defenders are injured.

In terms of statistic, Liverpool must be qualify to the next round since the only way Liverpool lose is when they lose with big margins (leading  3-4 goals) in the next two matches. Do you think St.Gilloise and LASK can do that? I really doubt.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Treating bitcoin as a teenager. on: November 10, 2023, 02:41:42 PM
I think Bitcoin's still just a baby in terms of how many people actually use it.  I mean, it's been around for over a decade, which is pretty old for a new technology.  but most regular folks still look at you funny if you try to pay for stuff with it. and  It's kind of like Bitcoins the cool kid in high school who's got a solid crew of friends but hasn't taken over the whole campus yet.  Smiley  For Bitcoin to really blow up, it's gotta get as comfy as your go-to coffee order.  So its young if you're talking how many people use it every day but it's growing up.
Lol I understand what you're saying Cheesy

It's correct people are surprised when you're going to pay something using Bitcoin since they thought it's scam or worthless.

"0.05 BTC? hmm that's really small, $50 is still bigger than that", this kind people might still exist despite anyone can check Bitcoin price less than 10 seconds.

Many users mention to use report to moderator button, I disagree since this button doesn't work when you report a post in less moderation sections. As long as you're not post in a row, commit plagiarism, using AI, one liner post, share refs link, or begging, your post high likely will not be deleted.

Ignore the users who is having the only intention of trolling and for that ignore option is really helpful but to tackle spammers report to moderators should be the tool, and if the user is having this as habit then eventually they will be in the risk of getting temp banned at least for multiple deleted reports for spam as reason.
Ignore will not solve the case.

There are many times has been mentioned spammer would get temporary banned, the question who's the user that get temporary banned due to spam in the past 2 years?
571  Other / Meta / Re: I am confused as to why this thread was moved to the current section it is in. on: November 10, 2023, 04:00:57 AM
because he do also analysis about Ethereum but he first analyzed that of bitcoin so this shows it should belong to speculation section as you did mentioned.
If you read carefully, he's analyzing Bitcoin's move, but he think the news about Blackrock is accepting Ethereum ETFs will make Bitcoin bullish. He's not predicting if Ethereum price will reach x price nor will bullish/bearish.

as my work yeah its quality, but its not mine it is  president Lincoln's Gettysburg address
Be careful, someone who hate or don't like you will report your post as plagiarized post and you might get banned. Tongue

572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 09, 2023, 03:02:18 PM
I have learned that you cant earn all the money in the world and that can be easy used as a suggestion to avoid while gambling. You cant win all the casino money. History has exceptions, but they only spoil 100% statistics of people vs casino. No matter how lucky you are, how skilled and how much money you have - you can never beat casino. Luck ends one day. Always know when to stop and set limits.
It's the best for someone to realize the money he set for gambling will completely lose, so there's no regret when he didn't make any money after gamble. People always think they can make money since they watch their favorite streamer is keep making money, they just don't know what the agreement between the streamer and the casino.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 09, 2023, 02:41:04 PM
Interesting one but I think we are pretty balanced right now and we need the depth in squad. I wonder who those four players are as I think it is likely that they are not some crucial players and selling them won't realise big money to put into for acquiring Ivan Toney. I think Brentford easily would be looking to realise around 60-70m out of Ivan Toney's sale and that too after rounds of negotiation. Toney is a tough one but I think if Arsenal really wants him then they would really push for him also.
I guess: Ramsdale, Elneny, Soares and Nketiah. Elney and Soares are useless players, while Ramsdale he's a good goalkeeper, but Arteta is more interested to Raya. Ramsdale on the other hands should want to play instead of stay in bench. Nketiah, this player is usually bad perform and it's better to sell him than Jesus, it's too much to keep 3 strikers.

It didn't seem to be a problem for Real Madrid in last night's match against Braga without Jude Bellingham and they still won with a landslide score of 3-0. In that match, Ancelotti changed his formation to 4-3-3 and placed Vinicius, Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz as the axis of attack. As a result, the three players each scored a goal for Real Madrid's victory at home and at the same time secured a place to qualify for the round of 16.
They know Braga is a weak team, if Real Madrid didn't create any score during first half, I believe Ancelotti will replace Diaz with Bellingham. Real Madrid has a very secure position right now, they don't have to let their key players to play. Bellingham is a human too, he can be tired and he need rest.

It seems nothing can save United this season and now they are last place in their UCL group and with low chances to actually catch Europa League spot. This is also the worst season I do remember for United in the last 2 decades and it's a shame to see such a big club doing so bad.
All of the three teams in Group A can beat Manchester United, the chance for them to reach third position is hard as Rashford is suspended due to received red card.

I don't know if you have read the article, of course we want our privacy, but Sweden has this very lax law, As per article:
What are you saying? Know that people do not care about their privacy is the reason for what is happening to them that robbers are attacking them.
I think he might trying to say if the Sweden’s Offentlighetsprincipen is easily to share about someone location and his tax records (which you will know how much money he have). Although this is not discussing about Bitcoin, it's fall to privacy and legal discussions.

Since I'm not a Swedish, I can't verify if the government is really easy to share someone else data or not when it's requested by a stranger.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 08, 2023, 03:03:21 PM
Lewandowski is not competitive anymore. He has lost his performance to compete with the young striker at this moment. It's time for barcelona to get red of him even though his contract is still quite long. His performance is starting to drop.
Barcelona is only having felix as a player to play as a striker. So many parties have been giving lewandowski very bad rating after the match against shakhtar. Lewandowski was almost contributing nothing to the club.

It's time for barcelona to recruit a good striker but the main question is who? Osimhen? it's not possible since this club is almost going to the bankrupt. I don't even think laporta wants spend a lot of money for a striker.
Yeah it seems Bayern Munich make a good decision to sell him and buy Kane, I thought Lewandowski still able to play in a competitive league despite he already 35 years old. But Joao Felix is still not able to become a striker, his performance is not stable.

I think Barcelona will not able to win both LaLiga and Champions League.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 08, 2023, 02:56:51 PM
The latest rumors regarding Thiago Alcantara's future have not met since the transfer market several seasons ago and now it is reported that Thiago Alcantara is a target for Juventus and Inter after his contract with Liverpool ends next season. Thiago Alcantarra will be a free agent next season and that is why Juventus and Inter are starting to move to compete for this player. In fact, Thiago Alcantara is still quite good, but considering the injury he suffered and finally experiencing a significant decline in performance, he could only serve as a bench warmer at Liverpool.
Because it's not make sense to keep a weak player.

Check his injury history
Code:
Season Injury from until Days Games missed
23/24 Fitness Oct 3, 2023 - 36 days Liverpool FC7
22/23 Hip injury Apr 27, 2023 Oct 2, 2023 158 days Liverpool FC15
22/23 Hip flexor problems Feb 11, 2023 Apr 7, 2023 55 days Liverpool FC10
22/23 Hamstring injury Aug 6, 2022 Sep 4, 2022 29 days Liverpool FC6

He was suffered hip injury from Feb 11, 2023, then after next 20 days, he suffered hip injury (again), after a day from the date he should fully recovered, he injured again for a month and half.

He could be used as a substitute player, but it's better for Klopp to sign a promising player.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 08, 2023, 12:21:28 PM
The Chelsea team is strong enough. However, the performance of this team is very erratic due to a lack of understanding between the players. The team cannot play well consistently. Chesley's performance against Arsenal was very good. However, the team cannot win. However, in the next match, Chelsea will play against Brentford. But in the last match, Chelsea proved their ability by defeating Tottenham team 4-1. And if they can play that kind of gameplay against Manchester City, it will be very difficult for City to beat Chelsea. This match is likely to be competitive.
Tottenham was playing with 9 players lol, there's no way to say Chelsea is strong when they with 2 players advantages. It's like you beat someone in boxing when your opponent only has one arm, definitely you must win in that situation.

Shit can happen, just like Liverpool can't able to beat Luton Town.

But Manchester City is no doubt will pressuring Chelsea.

I understand that displaying block time could make a similar visualization where Bitcoin block contains Bitcoin transactions, while block in Bitcointalk contains users posts.

Since theymos isn't someone who want to do additional work, I'm not expecting it will happen. It's better for him to fix the forums error. Tongue
