Is it normal for transactions to take over 1 hour to bittrex? The block explorer says they have not redeemed yet. I assume that means bittrex is being slow in accepting deposits?
Most of the time its the blockchain being slow... You can always go to our status page to see where our wallets are https://www.bittrex.com/Statusand compare them to the official blockchain explorers... No dev support means this coin is never going on an exchange that is good. Sad, it had great potential.
Why do you say there is no developer support? So far the coin has gone quite smoothy. With many coins, I have to hack the source code to get them to compile on Linux. This coin compiled without any problems. The launch went smoothly, though they did need to modify the wallet before launch. +1 Everything went well. |

Guys do you think the price is currently inflated?
I think this seems like a normal price. The difficulty is getting insane on mining and if the price drops then it wouldn't be worth it to mine. That on top of the fact that it is exploding in volume at bittrex in it's first day makes me believe the only way is steadily up. The multipools dumping might drop it down for a short period but I think we will see 5k easily and I imagine 2-3k to be a floor. Who knows...violetcoin went from 5-7k sat down to 1k satoshi today. But this coin seems better in all aspects and development. Spread the word! |

Can someone please explain this merge mining? If I mine with 1 Mhash at Simple vert do I get 1Mhash for each coin? VTC/MON/PLX ? So the revenue displayed on coin warz is wrong and should be calculated as: 1Mhash of VTC + 1Mhash of MON + 1Mhash of PLX ? I also have same doubt , If I mine with 1MH of VTC , how much VTC , MON , PLX will I get ? 2. On which pool can I merge mine these coins ? Nothing changes with your hashrate. If you have 1Mhash per day then you will still have 1Mhash per day. If you mine 2 VTC per day...then you will still mine 2 VTC per day. Parallax and Monocle are a basically free bonus coins. Merge mining makes a network more secure, gives incentive to mine and pushes all the coins in popularity. There is no negative to merge mining all three coins. |

Good morning. Anyone managed to grab a ton of SC last night?  For me hard mining but not any SC found yet. Mininig on 0.4 MHZ on one PC. Maybe to high dificulty for me  than go to betarigs or something else and rent a rig  Yes, renting is still profitable currently. And yesterday I made 1 btc profit from renting and mining VioletCoin. Rent before hashrate goes way too high! Is it profitable to rent a rig now? Diff is at about ~250 I did the math (hopefully right) and even at 400 diff and the current sellign price of 1.8k sat that 1mh/per day @ .005btc or less is still better than buying. That is risky though, because diff could jump even higher if you rent for 24 hours. My suggestion is rent a farm with lots of power for a short time rather than a smaller rig all day. Hey guys, I've just did some beta-tests with betarigs I've come to the conclusion that the pool management from betarigs is quite bad for pool owners. Betarigs seems to "proxy" their rigs through several servers, this means that multiple rigs and multiple users connect with the same IP to the pool, this triggers a Anti-DDoS Ban. I've whitelisted those IP's from Betarigs which I had during my tests now, these were approx 4 different. If you're renting rigs from there and can't connect 'em, message me or write me a mail at admin at suprnova.cc and I'll be glad to help you out. Weird. I use betarigs and it seems I never have any problems with connections. Thank you for the warning.  Good pools at suprnova.cc imo. |

Anyone haveing payed out by dgbpool so far? there mining go well but just dont have any payout so far and all other
pools already payed me out so its not the confirmation.
And now they locked my account cause of bad password (oke can happen) but im not getting a new mail at all to activate.
I have never heard good things about dgbpool. Stop using them. |

It really doesn't matter.. X11 is the same in the meanwhile like Scrypt, if you want something "new" or different, go for a real new algo like X13, Qubit, or even Groestl... Groestl would be cool.
X11 is super mainstream, every second coin is X11...
So a a pool owner, can I ask. I'm looking at the blackcoinpool and see: x11 - 240 Miners = 2.72 GH scrypt - 683 Miners = 1.21 GH Why is there many more miners on scrypt but less hash? It looks like bigger rigs are pointed at x11, so if the same was true for this coin mining, actually the spread would be less? Good point. Keep on schedule and keep scrypt. |
