Obvious attempt by vod2 (most likely a sockpuppet of someone in the vod fanclub  Wink ) to discredit the vod account.

Clever idea. Poor execution.

Let me get out the popcorn.

Youtube and 301 view count is due to them using a different algorithm to verify view count once views go over 300. It could be stuck at other numbers a bit over 301 as well, but 301+ is the most common.

Quote from: Youtube
Sometimes you might see that the video viewcount isn’t showing all the views you expect. Video views are algorithmically validated to be fair to both content creators and advertisers and maintain a positive user experience. This process assures that the video views are quality views and discards the low quality playbacks.

We want to make sure that all views are validated so during this process the views update less frequently and might occasionally freeze above 300 views to assure quality view count. This is the normal operation in YouTube videos.

I dont patent/copyright anything, since in all honesty, idea's are in the air, and we all get those idea's at the same time.. it's up to those who catch on at the time to make something of those idea's.. I'd rather know I was the first to show what can actually be done with the tools at our disposal.

If I find or design a hack should I copyright it?

A hack? I reckon in the USA you can patent that. At least you should ensure that you've documented it, just in case someone else tries to claim patent on it later on.

If you, as you claimed, have a way of violating the second law of thermodynamics then you should patent that, take out a life insurance (some people may not love losing their multi-billion businesses) and go collect you Nobel prize.

If however you're merely trolling you don't have to worry about a thing. You automatically own the copyright on everything you write in a fixed form. And that includes this forum. So if anyone would try to infringe on your trolling you have a basis to sue them.

I am an electronics engineer to trade, and know full well how to create a self perpetuating power supply, that will last longer than the life of a human..

If you have a way of violating the second law of thermodynamics then you shouldn't be wasting time on this forum. Get your shit patented and you're set for a thousand lifetimes.

1 scoop of sugar 4 cups of Honduran coffee and a boatload of creamer. If it's not frothy I don't want it Smiley

Hahah, yeah I can relate! I think a lot of cream or milk just lets you taste the aroma of the coffee in a better way. If the coffee is just plain black, it's too bitter in my opinion. You need to have something that makes it less bitter so you can really taste it!

True, every time someone is like "so you like a little bit of coffee with your creamer" I just wanna be like "so you like a little of my foot in your ass?" xD

So you like a little bit of coffee with your creamer?

You were basically asking for it. And no, I wouldn't.
568  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: {BFL} WHAT THE!! ButterflyLads WONT deliver the Monarch Till...ONLY GOD KNOWs?:( on: August 08, 2014, 06:24:44 AM
August is here. No monarchs shipped to customers that pre-ordered for as far as I know. And BFL did not commit to a shipping date yet either.

That means so far 42.6% of the voters are wrong. September will hit the 50% mark.

I'm going to sound mean here...

If you can't find resources / guides about basic mining then you probably shouldn't mine. It's not free money. It requires effort to make a profit from it. Just asking "Hey I want to mine, how do I do it?" demonstrates a lack of effort to me.

Just my $0.02.

For people that don't want to go to youtube first: the url is https://openbazaar.org/. They also have https://blog.openbazaar.org and https://forum.openbazaar.org.

They use a self-issued SSL certificate and the url in the certificate doesn't match. So your browser will (should) refuse it.

I wish them good luck, but when their users start using it for illegal activities the authorities will come down on them. I hope they have a contingency plan.

573  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Honey from Thailand on: August 04, 2014, 10:10:09 AM
Does Thai honey differ from any other regular honey? Be careful with shipping as well. Some countries have strict rules with what foods like this will be allowed into their country. Australia is pretty strict and theyll probably just destroy this sort of stuff.

Honey is a natural product and the taste will differ based on many factors. Those include climate, types of flower available, the type of bee (breed, farm, wild). Thanks for the warning about the regulations. The honey I'm selling (for now) is from qualified brands and properly packaged. I used http://auspost.com.au/apps/international-post-guide.html to check for prohibitions and if I understand correctly honey should be fine (though pollen and honeycomb are not).

I will check for any country before I send, but I'm not a lawyer and can't guarantee that my interpretation will be 100% accurate. I'm hoping the buyer will do their own search for their countries import restrictions too.

575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: no escrow means scammer? on: July 29, 2014, 04:40:03 AM
Did they specify why they don't want to use escrow?

j.socal say:

"I don't do escrow..Check my trusted feedback..."

wardrick say:

"Don't take it personal I've just been around for awhile and I've experienced a lot of different scam attempts."

if experenced lot of scam attemps maybe he shuld think bout use escrow!

It is their right to refuse escrow. They seem to have carefully build a reputation for themselves. Maybe j.socal or wardrick would accept escrow from a trusted member if you pay the fee. If not it is up to you to decide if you trust them enough to deal without escrow.

Just using escrow doesn't guarantee anything. You have to trust the party providing the escrow service (what is stopping them from running off with the money?). That said, if you don't trust the buyer/seller but you do trust an escrow provider then obviously you should use escrow.
576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: no escrow means scammer? on: July 29, 2014, 03:39:48 AM
everone says use escrow.

all say trusted will always accept escrow

2 people contact me to sell me btc

wardrick and j.socal

both refuse escrow

this mean they both scammers?

they have good rep. why they refuse escrow.

seems shady

seems they want ppl to get scammed since they teach ppl not use escrow.

Did they specify why they don't want to use escrow?

Guy is pretty scaleless. Goes around leaving false negative trust when he doesn't like something. Lies and trolls people.

Deal with EXTREME caution!

You're the one doing exactly that. You cannot backup that
  • I am using shill account
  • I am a coward
  • I am perpetuating scams
  • My only purpose is leaving negative feedback
  • I am dishonest
because none of it is true.
Still you left that negative trust on me. I assume it's you trying to get even for the negative trust I left on you. And that's all within the rules.

As an aside, notice how I did not call you any names or went on some rampage / crusade / personal vendetta because you did this?

@Lucky Cris: Sorry for hijacking your rep thread. I won't reply here anymore.

So the USA basically said, "We have evidence. And we won't publish it."

Congratulations, USA. You are consciously obstructing the investigation.
Publishing the information would likely give away information about how capable our intelligence capabilities are

Fact is that the USA is obstructing the investigation. Rationalizing it doesn't change that fact. Just calling it as it is.
