Personally, I wasn't that surprised by Ronaldo's hat-trick because his opponent was only Norwich, the bottom team in the standings, even though Norwich had equalized to 2-2 before Manchester United finally won the match with a final score of 3-2. No matter how great Ronaldo is but still, it will not make Manchester United finish in the top four so yes, I think the achievements made by Ronaldo are not balanced with what Manchester United achieved they are still difficult to play against stronger teams.
That's true but at least he has increased their hope of competing for the top four and beside they are now just three points different with the forth position Tottenham. He's performance in yesterday's match has given Manchester top hope again. Arsenal are now lacking behind due to their performances in there last three matches, there hope of going to Champions League is slim compared to Manchester united and Tottenham. |

Arsenal and Tottenham had very surprising results today. Arsenal lost against Southampton by 1-0 and this was their third loss in a row in the Premier League. I really wonder what is going on with them now. It is not good to see Arsenal performing this badly to me. I hope that they can improve their performance again and stay in the competition for gaining the fourth position in the league standings. They must be thankful for Tottenham to lose their game as well. Brighton did the same against Tottenham like they did to Arsenal and defeated them by 1-0. Arsenal are still three points behind them however Manchester United are back in this fight again too as they defeated Norwich.
The way Arsenal has been playing games this season has been remarkable and clearly demonstrates that the squad is taking a very nice shape, but all of a sudden they have deformed, I hope they wake up and win future games to keep their top four hopes alive. |

LOL!  For some reason I thought that Brighton would score a goal at the end of the match and beat Spurs... They played too well and confidently! They deserved that win... Manchester United won only once in their last five league matches in the Premier League. This is just terrible for a team like them. And I see that they have a home match against Norwich this week. I think that there is no way Manchester United are losing to or drawing with Norwich too. I know that they are still an unreliable team but I still want to believe in them to win this somehow. Norwich are really a bad team this season and they wouldn't do much against Manchester United in this.
The problem with premier league matches is that they are not always predictable. If we look at all of the games Manchester United has lost, they are games that they were meant to win, but they have ended up losing some and drawing others. So we'll have to wait and see because I've promised myself that I won't bet on Manchester United for the rest of the season since they're no longer dependable. |

The very likely finales now are Real Madrid - Liverpool and Manchester City - Liverpool indeed. I don't even give a chance to Villarreal about eliminating Liverpool honestly. Looking at how the results came through today, Its safe to say home advantage nolonger carries the weight it had back then as compared to todays football
Just look at the stats,We had 6 out of 8 away match wins today which backs my theory am putting across, and if any punters are seeing this, home advantage should never be a basis for a team to win!
Anyway of all games played today, I Feel bad for Barcelona but the comeback started late on in the game, better luck next time boys!
West Ham United and Frankfurt's away win, out of all of them, made me respect football and believe that there is nothing like home advantage in football when the other team is playing well.
