561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com in trouble? on: November 14, 2022, 10:24:46 AM
My deposit finally went through an hour ago and I decided to buy the dip at 6 cents.

All we as investors can do is wait and hopefully it is not as bad as it sounds, I do think a lot of it is FUD.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogelon Mars. on: November 14, 2022, 10:20:44 AM
So I have been buying Dogelon Mars this last week and I have been wondering if there is a way to transfer to my ledger.
What chain is it on? I didn't have time to research it. Just probably use your ERC-20 or something with your ledger. I'm not sure if ledger has acceptability with the actual dogelon mars token.

I dont know, everything looks so legit in the first impression and could be something I always wanted to invest into. It does not seem they are making too much buzz about the presence of DOGELON coin. I never heard about it before. To my surprise they are literally having 650K followers and it's pretty awesome community support for this coin.

I suspect the support is coming from Elon and DOGE fans combined, considering the names they have used for the project.

However, realistically the project is meme based and with our great experience earlier I would say precautionary steps are needed. May be put few bucks now and then but not more than 500 bucks I guess?

I am okay with it because the volume is pretty well for every 24 hours. Could be good choice could be bad one too.
Basically all a gamble towards this. If it works, congratulations, if not, then make sure you are investing something that is okay to lose.

It is ERC20 token and I think I can only send to my ledger through Ethererum but gas fees are so high.

I will leave it on the exchange for now and do more research later if there is another way of transferring to my ledger at a cheaper rate.

And just to confirm, yes this is a gamble but it is only £150 money I can afford to lose I just feel it is worth the risk as could 50x or even 100x one day.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogelon Mars. on: November 13, 2022, 06:52:48 PM
So I have been buying Dogelon Mars this last week and I have been wondering if there is a way to transfer to my ledger.

I see there is however I have gone to do this but is saying the fee is 50,000,000 ELON which is currently £12ish.

I have 500,000,000 ELON currently so this fee above is quite a big chunk, is there any other way of sending the crypto to my ledger at a cheaper fee or is this the only way?
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com in trouble? on: November 13, 2022, 06:39:24 PM
It has been a hour now since sent money from my bank to crypto.com and have still not received funds.

I have however been able to send most of crypto I had on crypto.com to my ledger so at least most of it is off their exchange now.

Not looking good, does make me less confident now  Undecided
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Crypto.com in trouble? on: November 13, 2022, 05:29:31 PM
I have been investing in Crypto.com , now known as Cronos, since March this year.

I see it has been falling in the last 24 hours as many are panicking it could be one of the next exchanges in trouble.

I have just tried to deposit some money onto my crypto.com account and it has left my bank but not reached my account and this was over half an hour ago now, it usually reaches my account in a few minutes.

Is there currently a problem with deposits??

What does everyone think about crypto.com is it in trouble or should be ok?
566  Other / Beginners & Help / New to crypto - Trading fees? on: November 11, 2022, 10:07:57 AM
I started investing in February this year and up till now have not sold anything , just held.

I want to give trading a go and am just wondering how the fees & tax works in the UK , do we only pay tax on fiat withdrawals and pay fees on all trades?

The markets are very volatile at the moment so see it as an opportunity, I am only talking a small amount to start with as I am new.

If for example I put £100 in a crypto that doubles in price and I decide to put the £100 profit into Ethererum I am only charged a trading fee for doing so?

Daft question I am sure but like I said I am new to trading and want to know for sure how everything works before I start.
567  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin deposit problem on: November 11, 2022, 08:59:16 AM
I am already on Coinbase & Binance.

There is just one crypto on Kucoin that is available to trade that is not on Coinbase or Binance.

So is it best that I send some crypto from either Coinbase or Binance to Kucoin and then from there can convert that into the crypto I want?

I just want to buy this crypto on Kucoin and transfer it to my ledger to hold for a few years till the next bull run.
568  Economy / Exchanges / Kucoin deposit problem on: November 10, 2022, 11:55:08 PM
I am from UK and started using Kucoin in June but since July I have not been able to deposit using bank card and have spoken to their customer service and they still say deposit via bank card is still under maintenance.

It has been over 4 months now since I was able to deposit by bank card. The last person I spoke to on live chat an hour ago mentioned depositing via P2P but didnt give any detail in how to do this, only a link that didnt work.

I am pretty new to all this, can anyone advise how else we can currently deposit on Kucoin? Not sure if it is just a UK problem.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HBAR - how to transfer to Ledger? on: November 10, 2022, 03:46:59 PM
I currently have all my HBAR on Crypto.com.

After what has happened to FTX this week I now want to have everything on my ledger.

What is the best way of transferring my HBAR to my ledger? Or is the only way for me to send my HBAR from crypto.com to hashpack wallet and then to my ledger from there?
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enjin coin - hold or sell? on: November 06, 2022, 12:31:52 PM
I started buying Enjin at 1.75 my average buy is now 0.63.

My main Metaverse play is Decentraland which I have been buying weekly this year.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enjin coin - hold or sell? on: November 06, 2022, 10:26:56 AM
I'm also a huge fan of Enjin in the beginning, it was one of the hottest project back then and there are a lot of good news and the project seems to take off. But not just in the last 4 months or so, I haven't heard anything from them.

Fortunately, I sold everything last bull market and so I will say that I'm done with it.

Seems that it has lost it's touch already and investors are looking for other projects now. I won't give financial advise, but for me its better to look for other project that you can invest for the next bull run.

I am hoping it can go on a bit of a run soon so I can cut losses at 20% or something and move my money into something stronger. Don’t feel it is worth selling just yet being 32% down may as well hold and see what happens
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Enjin coin - hold or sell? on: November 06, 2022, 12:49:31 AM
Enjin coin was one of my first buys when I first started crypto in February this year.

It is now one of the smallest parts of my portfolio as I have been focusing on many others since the crash in June and have not bought as much Enjin at these lower prices which currently leaves me 32% down on my investment.

The reason I haven't bought so much Enjin is purely down to believing in other crypto more and hardly hearing anything about Enjin these last 3 or 4 months which isn’t a good sign to me.

I am intrigued to see how many of us hold enjin or at least rate it? For those who know of Enjin, is it worth holding or better to invest elsewhere?
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala potential? on: November 03, 2022, 11:55:26 PM
I am still DCA into Gala but am a bit concerned with how far it has crashed, 97% since all time high I know we are in a bear market but it is a big drop.

I have just bought my first lot of Gala below £0.03 and my average buy is now £0.053 so I don’t need it to go up too much now at least to break even.

I am planning to hold until the bull run in 2024 so going to take a lot of patience till then but hopefully will be worth it, I am holding until we reach £1.50 which is a 50x from current price.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogelon Mars. on: November 01, 2022, 07:20:20 AM
Is this the project you are talking about?

https://dogelonmars.com/

It has excellent graphics and has been around for quite some time. This could be a great opportunity because it is listed on major crypto exchanges. I hope that the ones being invested are managing the risk.

Yes that is the one, I just feel it is worth a gamble as anything related to Elon Musk seems to shoot up in price eventually.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogelon Mars. on: November 01, 2022, 07:19:16 AM
It is a gamble  however one that can bring high rewards I feel.

I am happy to wait a year or two for a 100x but it might even come sooner then that.

I will start to DCA into it now and hopefully it goes lower for a while before it shoots up in price.

I will not invest much but in something like this you don’t have to, you just hope one day it shoots up in price and if it does I can then use the profit to invest into safer crypto.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dogelon Mars. on: November 01, 2022, 12:28:44 AM
I am thinking of investing a small amount of my portolio into this meme coin in the hope it has some success like Dogecoin & Shiba Inu have had in the past.

I do not have any Doge or Shib and personally think great returns on these two have gone which is why I am prepared to take a gamble on Dogelon Mars.

Is Dogelon Mars linked to Dogecoin? I assume it is which can only be a good thing with how Elon Musk pumps Dogecoin from time to time

I just feel Dogelon Mars has a lot more room to grow compared to Doge & Shib which is why I am thinking of taking a gamble on it.

Anyone else invested or know anything about Dogelon Mars and what levels it could reach next bull run?
577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - How high can it go? on: October 31, 2022, 03:44:47 PM
Hi all,

I will continue to DCA into Bitcoin and hold till it reaches £200k minimum as anything less is not worth it to me.

Even reaching $200k gives us only 10x from current price and that can take years - with altcoins at least that can happen in months, that is why I am thinking of Altcoins too.

I am a only investing what I can afford to lose so will be interesting so see how Bitcoin performs compared to the altcoins I do have in the next bull run.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HBAR - how to transfer to Ledger? on: October 31, 2022, 02:09:59 PM
Yes sorry Hashpack, thanks for the link will have a look.

I have seen a few videos online but was just checking to see if there was an easier way of doing it or if there is only one way.
579  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin - How high can it go? on: October 31, 2022, 09:41:35 AM
I currently have 3% of a Bitcoin having started dollar cost averaging in June after the crash.

It is not a lot but it is slowly growing and I have many other Altcoins I am invested in so can't put everything into Bitcoin.

I am wondering what everyone thinks this the price of Bitcoin can realistically get to? $100k? $250k? $500k? $1m?

I am happy holding Bitcoin for the next 10 years or more if it reaches these prices above.

I am just debating if I should continue to DCA into Bitcoin or sell all and put into stronger altcoins which will see better ROI over the next few years.

580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / HBAR - how to transfer to Ledger? on: October 31, 2022, 08:18:35 AM
I am currently accumulating HBAR during these low prices and want to transfer them to my ledger nano s plus.

I know i can transfer to my ledger however it is not as straightforward as others and I understand I need to download something called hashgraph first?

I have my HBAR on Crypto.com and to my understanding I need to send my HBAR to Hashgraph and then from there I can then send to my ledger?

If someone can please confirm, thanks
