I would also like to bring Bitcoinica to the attention. Don't underestimate the volume it trades with.
562  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin to Paypal withdrawal help please! (Bitinstant) on: December 19, 2011, 08:51:10 AM
Write the percentages (or the ranges) above the arrows in that picture. The arrows probably have to be made a bit larger for that.

Thanks for all the hard work, Gavin (and all the other developers)!
565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dwolla to unveil something big on december 15... on: December 14, 2011, 08:57:59 AM
It's interesting that Paypal suddenly seems to be collaborating with Bitinstant. Could it have anything to do with Dwolla's announcement?

Pointless thread.

What else is discussed in that article? It seems quite a bit longer than just those few statements.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing LoveBitcoins.org – Driving 1 MILLION Bitcoin Users in 2012 on: December 08, 2011, 10:00:58 AM
It seems that some similar-sounding domain names have already been parked.

lovebitcoin.com
lovebitcoin.org
lovebitcoins.com

It took me several attempts before I ended up on the real page Sad

The site looks kinda bad in my browser  Sad, using Firefox 3.6.23 on Ubuntu..
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the enabler - Truly Autonomous Software Agents roaming the net on: December 06, 2011, 07:41:05 PM
I thought about this when I first heard about bitcoin.  Haven't found a solution to the problem of memory providers stealing private keys though.

A lot can be done by means of code obfuscation. For example, it has taken many manhours to analyze Stuxnet, and I believe they still do not completely understand Duqu.

Perhaps remove the "become a member" button from the top menu and add it to the bottom About us etc. options, or place it somewhere in the member listing page. I don't think it's relevant to most visitors.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Point for Bitcoin! Point for Linux! And point for Ubuntu!! on: December 05, 2011, 10:22:16 PM
Hi!

I'll make a new version of this guide, using only GUI.

Best!
Thiago

We need a client that DOESN'T NEED A GUIDE.  The existence of a guide indicates the lack of a user-friendly client.

I'm sure that this will happen with the release of Ubuntu 12.04.

And I say more, the "Ubuntu Software Center" will have some kind of "Pay with Bitcoins" button or, when you click at the "Buy" button, a window will appear asking you which currency you want to pay (BTC / LTC / USD / BRL / etc)...

Cheers,
Thiago

How certain is this?
574  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATTN All Traders: Market Experiment on: December 05, 2011, 09:53:39 AM
Placed a bid at 2.402.
575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bring down the wall on: December 03, 2011, 07:43:40 PM
Wow, even I'm impressed right now at how weak hands just got played big time.  That was ~10,000BTC in a single buy.

Funny how you recommended to cash out if you bought in below $2.90 in another thread..
576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signals on: December 02, 2011, 10:32:41 PM

Does anyone have an idea what is causing the spikes at the end?
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Mt.Gox reloaded : Welcome to Mt.Gox's new and improved design! on: December 01, 2011, 10:19:50 AM
I think this layout is another important step towards wider adoptance of Bitcoin.

Another suggestion: Could you make the links in the listed tweets clickable?
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin + Social Media + Viral Marketing + Political Warfare on: December 01, 2011, 07:19:26 AM
This is a very exciting new thing!

Erik: It'd be nice to somehow be able to see how many beeks have already been fed for a specific campaign.
580  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox Soon . . . on: December 01, 2011, 07:08:22 AM
Congrats on the new look, I like it.
The "weighted avg" at the top falls off the line.
