561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here is What Vitalik Sees For Ethereum in the Years to come on: April 04, 2020, 03:10:01 PM
Vitalik do have a good plan for Ethereum and I am always in support of whatever is going to make Ethereum get better and grow, so as long as that’s what it’s all about then I’m in support of it.

Ethereum has been my favorite altcoin ever since I came to know about it and unlike other altcoins I have been investing and making use of, Ethereum is accepted by more people and some of my friends makes use of it too. I strongly believe that Ethereum will see a better growth in the future and these plans are implemented to make things better.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: April 04, 2020, 10:39:23 AM
I don't think I'm going to believe that. Before the coronavirus issue the price of bitcoin was going up and I believe it reached that rate because the coronavirus has not started affecting it yet.

Just like other markets, it didn't start affecting them immediately it came out, it took some time before it started happening. And you saying that people selling is the cause of the decrease, yes that's what led to the decrease, a decrease in the demand and people selling their coins, but what led to people panicking and selling their coins? That's coronavirus. So, how do you now say that coronavirus is not the cause?
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency, it's a store of value on: April 04, 2020, 09:07:28 AM
To answer the question you have asked about using bitcoin for transactions and how fast it can be - the truth is that bitcoin is not a fast payment method. There are lots of other cryptocurrencies that are faster than Bitcoin when it comes to carrying out transactions, I can remember the last time I used Ethereum for a transaction and how fast it was; the person receiving it got it instantly, unlike bitcoin that would take some time.

There are also other altcoins that are like that and really fast, but I don't see any of them replacing bitcoin, bitcoin is still going to remain at the top, though I don't think it's going to replace fiat system.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: April 04, 2020, 08:27:15 AM
I don't see the need to be asking others, sure there is nothing wrong to ask for opinions, but what I'm trying to say is that at last you're still the one that's going to make that decision for yourself judging from the circumstances at hand.

If you are sure that after having up to 50% in BTC and 50% in USD that you will be able to survive with the USD that's left if in case the one you invested in bitcoin should fall, then you can go ahead and do that. It's good to always make calculations before taking risks. If you're jumping into bitcoin because you think the price will go up and you will get rich, well that's very possible, but think twice.
565  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic Coronvirus Impact On Global economy on: April 04, 2020, 07:46:22 AM
There is still a lot of crypto doing very well right now, that shows us that crypto is basically overcoming this bad moment, sure it is still not as good as it can get, but it is doing a lot better honestly. I personally prefer if it didn't dropped to begin with, but it is doing a lot better to begin with at least. Long story short, it is not killed, it is not better, it is just wounded and suffering but a light injury, nothing major, so it will recover.

Basically kinda like corona itself, corona killed some people, most of the people is alive though, and more people recover than die, so crypto actually got infected with corona lol. I know it is nothing to joke about so sorry for that but I guess that is the best example we can give about the current situation.
566  Economy / Economics / Re: CoronaVirus USA - Open by easter? on: April 03, 2020, 07:52:48 PM
By Easter we will literally be in the rising status just yet and not getting better. By comparison we are talking about this virus ending in all of USA by Easter which means everyone will be better and there will be a cure and so forth, but the reality will be number of people getting infected everyday will go up and number of people dying will keep going up.

USA is one of those nations where healthcare is not really that important to them, either its because of capitalist system being abused or some other reason, they basically live by not going to doctors as long as they are not forced to or have no other option, I mean sure you have to go to a hospital when giving birth but normally if you break your finger people ask themselves how much they need that finger unbroken. We will see a lot worse situations in USA than Italy if nothing gets done soon.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: April 03, 2020, 07:21:13 PM
There is this timeline that people are talking about where the virus number will continue to go up for a little bit more while, maybe like a month or so, at most two months, after that it looks like the number of cases that gets infected will not really change too much but the amount of people who dies will go down.

Humanity basically will get used to this, viruses never really go away and stop, we just adjust to it enough. Think about it this way, before you get a flu, you get a flu shot, what is that?

Basically it is a small flu itself, it gives you an example to your body so your body gets ready for the real one, it trains your body to be stronger against it. Well, we already have corona going around, as long as we keep beating it the amount of dead will be less because people who might die will eventually die already.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: April 03, 2020, 10:54:01 AM
For sure, bitcoin is the transaction method that a lot of people needs to start using from now, but another question is who is accepting bitcoin? I have tried many times to make payment with bitcoin offline but the problem I always have is that there are no places where it's being accepted. The case is different when it comes to online, online you can find lots of places where you can make use of bitcoin as a payment method, but it's never the same when it comes to using it locally.

Online we have purse.io where we can make payments with bitcoin to buy whatever we need, but the case is that it requires shipping for some of us in some countries and would probably take longer than when you use an online shopping that offer services locally, just like Amazon is available in the US and you can get fast delivery.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: April 03, 2020, 08:42:34 AM
You do have a really good point here about network providers lol; they are the ones who are going to make lots of profit at this time since a lot of people will need their phone to keep busy and avoid being bored.

But, what I'm happy about is that the network providers in my country has refused to cut the rate we pay for data. It's seriously annoying, and at this point of time everyone should be doing what they possibly can to help others. Most people have no jobs doing now and there isn't enough and everyone is trying to manage the little they have. I expect these companies to do the same and assist people so they will have a reason not to be bored and stay at home.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you read about crypto? Favorite sources? on: April 02, 2020, 07:51:27 PM
I have used all the site you have mentioned , they are all very popular and I make use of the first fives except Reddit; I used Reddit for a few times and then I stopped making use of it. I have been using Coindesk, Cointelegraph ( I make use of Cointelegraph steady, especially their top ten cryptocurrencies analysis), NewsBTC and I visit this forum everyday lol.

I make use of Twitter daily, but not for reading anything about cryptocurrency, I just use it in knowing trends in my locality and also around the world. The Reddit app is in my phone but I don't even touch it. Sometimes I don't really need to visit these sites to learn anything about cryptocurrency, I make use of AndroidOne phone and every minute I'm getting news updates from Google based on my interests.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrency during this pandemic on: April 02, 2020, 04:06:39 PM
Future of stock market is bright too if you look too deep into the future, oil, gold and all other stuff looks quite bright as well if you look too further down the line. You think that stock market keeps on crashing and never recover? Look at bank of america and their 2006, 2008, 2010, 2018, 2020 prices. It may have moved up and down a lot but in the end it has actually gone up a lot, in 2-5 years it will be higher than today as well, maybe one day it will go down again but because it went up a lot the gone down will be higher than today's.

Crypto is no different, it is down right now and I know it, in a year it will be higher, in 5 years we will see a lot more highs and lows but even the lows of 2025 will be higher than today;s highs, that is how finance goes.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: April 02, 2020, 03:39:36 PM
There are some days when they are totally opposite and there are days when they are definitely acting together. In this recent fall it was acting all together because honestly everything was falling and not just crypto, the whole world financially got screwed so obviously it all get sent to hell together and that is understandable.

On the opposite side when it is moving upwards it will act together as well, this is more like a "crypto vs the world" type of situation so it will definitely move together and that is how it is for now. In the future that could change and you should be careful, sometimes they act differently because some news that broke up in some coin could make it go up while others stay same. It is just not like that, this is a world regarding global issue for now.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: March 31, 2020, 08:52:46 AM
The last thing I ever do is to worry myself about money. Whatever happens, it has happened and there is nothing you can do about it than to endure and have patience till everything comes back in place. Yes, you're going to feel bad for losing your money, but you should take it as part of the experience you're meant to have in life and then work hard in getting back what you have lost and even bigger than your past.

The first time I invested in bitcoin I had a similar experience and that was around 2014 or 2015, that I invested $250 and within a short while the price of bitcoin dropped and what I was seeing in my wallet was around $190. I didn't worry myself because that amount wasn't much, I invested a little cause I was still new to it. But even if I did lose much, I still wouldn't bother myself, life they say is the biggest gift of all.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: March 30, 2020, 08:59:50 PM
I do not gamble to become rich and I know that I will not be rich but there are times when you go into something huge that you start to dream a bit.

For example, I do gamble on sportsbooks and other stuff that will not make me rich and I do not dream about it at all, I might as well lose it because if I win that I will spend it back on 2 games instead of 1 and gamble more, however there is a LAMBO giveaway on freebitco.in right now, they already done the first one and doing the second one right now, if you do not want lambo which I will not want you can opt out from it and get 200 thousand dollars instead. That money coupled with the 4% annually they are giving means that I will be capable of getting 666 dollars per month, that is MORE than enough for me to live without ever working again.
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading signals... on: March 30, 2020, 07:07:44 PM
Unfortunately signals are dealing with indicators and charts which means that they will eventually be right for two possibilities. One is a technical issue that could happen and give you a wrong number which is not quite common but crypto is a new space so it could still happen time to time and it has happened many times before so it is not 100% guaranteed it will not happen.

One bad number because of a single bad line of code and you will be in big loss. Second and more realistic one is that indicators have been wrong multiple times before, it has been something all traders have been dealing with lately because bitcoin looks like it will go up a lot in the future yet ends up going down, this has happened probably at least 10 times in the past year alone.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One Altcoin to invest on: March 30, 2020, 05:54:45 PM
One coin to invest is the real trouble here, not which one to pick. No matter what people give you an answer, it will be a wrong one because you will eventually lose it all if that coin goes to waste, you can always be wrong, aside from bitcoin there is absolutely no coin that can't go to zero.

Definitely, there is a very very small chance that ethereum goes to zero, but even that has it, all the other top ones like ripple may go to zero, look at ripple company they have done so many shady and scammy things, they are still high because they have a HUGE community buying, look at BCH they have jihan wu and roger ver keeping it alive, look at BSV, it is all craig thats holding it alive.

Basically, all coins could go to zero, you need to diversify and have bunch of them to make sure you don't go broke.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: March 30, 2020, 03:57:18 PM
Well, some people already made some profits, if you bought at the bottom and waited until now, you would basically have a profit by now. However lets assume you are not talking about profit from trading but actually "earning", as in working for it giving your time and effort and getting money in return. Well, there could be a lot more jobs available right now but also a lot more people applying as well.

Crypto.jobs is a website you can check for them, or just google "crypto jobs" or something like that and apply to ones you can do, many of them will not return but if you get lucky you can find a job. Aside from that you can apply for bounties as well, they usually do not pay well at all but you may end up getting lucky and get some big amounts from that too.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: March 30, 2020, 03:01:20 PM
Yea this is true, I have had this experience before and it was with one coin I got through airdrop. These altcoins are going to give you a lot of stress and that’s the truth. If you don’t want to go through all the stress of holding an altcoins and trying to keep up to date it’s best that you forget about them. If you know that you’re not ready keep up with the coin, it’s best for you to look for another coin.

This is the reason I’m mostly now focused on Ethereum and Bitcoin because there is not going to be anything, although this kind of thing rarely happens.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friday the 13th unlucky for Bitcoin too! on: March 30, 2020, 02:08:51 PM
What makes you so sure that the same thing is going to happen on the 13th of March 2021?
You just never know what’s going to happen, it might end up being a different case.

I don’t know why a lot of people are fond assuming that something that happened before is going to be repeating itself in the cryptocurrency market. Earlier this year I saw someone that claimed that prices goes up every Valentine’s day, and so? Let’s stop predicting the future by using events that took place in the past, we rather wait and see what the future holds and we only hope for the better.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Store your bitcoin on: March 29, 2020, 03:40:54 PM
Praying for this current situation to be over is something that everyone must do, everyone should always look up to God and ask for forgiveness. And then as for Bitcoin, we are not really sure what’s going to be next, but before now I have always believed that there is going to be an increase after the halving, but since this happened, I can’t tell what’s to happen next, whether the price is to go up then or not.

But anyway, cryptocurrency investment has always been known to be volatile and anyone investing in them is doing so at their own risk, so I’m not really worried, cause I knew that and also did the right thing not to regret.
