561  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin invest? on: September 11, 2021, 05:13:36 PM

Yes, not only when investing in Bitcoin requires financial stability but also in all investments, what makes a person most unsuccessful in investing in Bitcoin is because they will expect success in short term, even though investment is long term, and often when someone who doesn't have a stable income will be very possible to sell his crypto assets regardless of whether the conditions are positive or negative to meet urgent needs.

This is the mostly the type of scenario when an investor is not financially stable this not only happen in bitcoin investment but also in any form of investments. The possibility to sell their crypto because of the contingency to meet their need is highly probable. There we could distinguish clearly what's the difference between an investors with a financial stability to an investor without a financial stability. Rich investor has a high probability to keep their investment in a long term because they don't have the urgent to meet that they must ended up selling their asset that made in invesment.

I have the view that it is true that those who will get a bigger gain are those who are financially stable, but it should be underlined that unstable ones still have opportunities.  We understand very well, especially for the crypto market which is the most risky market, meaning that this is where it is very important to have stable finances otherwise it will be very risky to starve to death if it is too extreme.  Opportunities for the poor are smart work and extra effort, because we can fight against the privileged with just a hundred times their effort.
562  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin assets cannot be blocked - is that helping terrorists? on: September 11, 2021, 04:43:20 PM
I think terrorists only use dollars from, not Bitcoin.  The reason is simple Bitcoin is not a liquid currency, like the dollar.
Bitcoin is difficult to use for transactions, especially in countries that have minimal technological infrastructure.
Bitcoin is difficult to use quickly.  In addition, acceptance of digital money is very limited in regions such as the Middle East and North Africa, where terrorist groups are most active.
No, I have a feeling you really don't know that the people behind the terrorist name are intelligent people as well as very tech savvy. Since bitcoin is a currency, it is possible to use it for illegal acts such as terrorist financing, money laundering, and many other things. Regardless of whether the country supports cryptocurrencies or not, bitcoin transaction can never be prevented by the government. Regulation can't really prevent bitcoin transaction from being broadcast even if you're in a country with minimal technology infrastructure.

If we talk about the uniqueness of BTC that cannot be regulated by the government and cannot be frozen then this is a very clear privilege that BTC is a decentralized currency, but if this is related to illegal actions and benefits them.  I strongly disagree, whatever innovation is given, illegal acts will always exist.  But society always blames the media and its tools.  It should not be the function of decentralized BTC that is being discussed but how to remove illegal acts..

Yea, I have the same experience... some of my referrals went idle on me for years and when there are a spike in the price, then their account becomes active again. I think they forgot about there accounts and when they see the high Bitcoin price, they suddenly want to use the site again.. hoping that the Satoshi that they get, will be worth something or that there were some Satoshi's left in there.  Roll Eyes

I see some tickets magically appearing now and again and I know I have not bought it, so it must be these dead referrals that are coming back to life.  Grin Grin Grin

I have the same experience with you. I get free ticket when I reopen my account. I remember for the first time I join this site. I can claim free faucet with 7 satoshi and now I checked only 3 satoshi that we can earn per 1 hour. Some of my deposite still be there in the site to try the lottery anymore. Although the possibility for winning is still low.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 11, 2021, 01:08:38 PM

I bet on Tottenham's winning today. Now it looks like I made a big mistake. They are playing terribly. Maybe the match could be a draw, but if Tottenham somehow wins the match it would be unfair to the Crystal Palace players. They played very well. They deserve 3 points from this match.

In the last minute, they had lost 1 player as Tanganga was given a red card for his fatal mistake.  How they couldn't maintain the consistency of their game, and finally Palace got their first goal in the 76th minute. They really deserved it, their game was really stable while Tottenham played with emotion and instability.  I'm still hoping for another goal from Palace for Tottenham.

I understand we all want to build strong teams for our countries but am left wondering what happens if you don't want to play for your country does this rule sstill apply to such players....and should this five day rule be punishment to these EPL players??

Nope, it does not. There was a case not so long ago again with one of Liverpool's players Grin

Matip does not wish to represent Cameroon anymore, they sent him another invitation regardless, he refused to join the national team and they tried to impose the international ban rule - which FIFA rejected.

It is written in a way in which a player has maximum protection - if he wants to play, the club can't stop him and if he does not, the national association can't either.

Isn't that still valid? In accordance with the FIFA rules, the country's call should not be rejected by the club so that in the EPL this time there are 8 players who are threatened with FIFA sanctions but indeed I don't know the data is valid or not because I've heard it from my friend. What happened recently I heard that the CBF urged FIFA to sanctions on Lemain who refused to defend Brazil even though Brazil's reason is currently the red zone but on the other hand Aston Vila and Tottenham gave up his players playing in their country even though they played in Brazil.

I hope there's really no deposit requirements or wagering to claim the prize pool on the free roll. Cool  promotion.
Indeed, the marketing strategy through freerolls is quite interesting.  I used to participate in this freeroll tournament often but I only managed to win 2 times of all matches.  In my experience, you have to make a deposit to join.  But enough to fulfill the hobby of playing gambling.  On other sites, usually their marketing only provides a funplay menu and does not provide any benefits to players other than fraudulent advertisements at doubled profits.  I have tried other sites, and use the fun play menu.  I was there earning 110$ one play and playing real lost my first 20$.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Renewable Energy sources the future? on: September 09, 2021, 05:16:23 PM
Our dependency on them must be decreased, in order to sustain them for the future.
If we talk about reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, then this is the same as requiring enormous research and development.  However, I highly doubt it can diminish in a short amount of time.  It takes an extra approach and a very long time to change the people's habits that have taken root.  If fossil materials are replaced, the solution is electricity, but electricity also requires coal for its basic material.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador retirees protest against Bitcoin as legal tender on: September 09, 2021, 03:39:50 PM
On the other hand they assume that the rates went up because the CHF purchasing power increased and this is not true.

Actually Bitcoin cannot be accepted by them because they do not understand financial literacy well.  They don't realize that the fiat they've always believed in is actually betraying them.  There are three functions of money, as a means of payment, as a means of speculation and as a store of value.  Are they aware that the current fiat cannot fulfill the third function properly.  If at the time of the gold standard, fiat was stable, then at this time they are less informed that the money they currently hold does not have a clear underlying asset.  Just a guarantee from the central bank.  Has the central bank really worked well so far?  we already know how this inflation was created by them, so they dare to remove the gold standard from the financial system.  Initially god money became government money.  Bitcoin and crypto are the latest innovations that make government money experience a transition period. They should realize that change is not always bad, sometimes there are improvements that are outdated.

After having some free time and logging into my blackjack.fun account, it turns out that it looks very much different from before and there are already many types of games that can be played.  Significant progress on the site, but it seems there are still a few notes that I can add, namely the display for mobile in my personal opinion is still not mobile friendly.  It might be a lot different if you opened it on a pc, but overall it's an interesting change.  What I want to try is the new slot menu.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 09, 2021, 01:18:22 PM
If these teams improved themselves a little more, winning the title would be more difficult for other teams.

You are overestimating those teams. All other teams are improving their performance as well and Premier League is known for the best league so it will need extra effort to win the League. The race for the title this year will be between United, City, Chelsea and Liverpool so all other teams could try their best to stay on the top spot but top 4 is pretty much booked by these four

United, City, Chelsea and Liverpool will occupy the top 4 spots in the points table. However, I am not sure how successful the Liverpool team will be. They are a strong team. But seeing their unstable performances from the previous season I lost my confidence in them. However, I hope they do not perform as badly as the previous season.
We all knows the reason why Liverpool were so unstable in the previous season their start was pretty convincing but after a few key players injured they became very unpredictable, but we also saw that they finally managed to get into third place, and this season will be a bit different because injured players back to play, I just hope this season the title race is really decided until the end so there's no domination.

Although the condition of their players last season was injured and even severe, the results of the match were not that bad.  They are still able to reach the top 5 and this season, I have made the choice for Liverpool to be champions of this league.  Although so far Tottenham are still in the lead and there are other big clubs that are starting to strengthen their strategy, whether the goal is to win the Premier League or Champions League.

Yeah it's funny that those with about 10k tickets haven't enough chance to win 1/10 lucky ticket  Cheesy
Based on the number of lottery tickets that some people have, the chance of winning the lottery becomes more realistic to some, especially the prize pool will be shared between ten winners. Although, by the number of tickets collected by free spins and wagering, the prize pool seems to enough small that let anybody think that's it's almost impossible to win among thousands of tickets (some even have about 10k tickets and didn't meet his chance)

It really takes full luck to be a 1/10 winner.  If you already have 10K tickets but don't become one of the winners, then I, who only has hundreds of tickets, is enough with empty hopes.  Although luck no one knows in the end to whom.  For the next, maybe have to undergo some special rituals to be 1/10 winner Smiley lol.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 08, 2021, 11:01:19 PM
I have a hunch that Chelsea will have a mid-season slump, as Tuchel often did in Borussia. Perhaps the reason, is that the players was are either overworked or injured.
Chelsea will decline or not in the middle of it all depends on the player and coach. Tuchel when in Dortmund is different from Chelsea, the achievements and cooperation of the team is also different. So far, their performance is quite stable in the Priemer League. Of all matches only 1 series. This is all indeed not easy. If consistency can be maintained, the reason overwork and injury will not appear as a reason for their defeat.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador has just bought it’s first 200 coins on: September 08, 2021, 03:08:18 PM
But I guess that they just wanted to give BTC to a certain number of people to draw their and the other people's attention also.

The El Savador government is very clear that it will not distribute BTC evenly because of the 6.5 million population and with the number of coins that have been purchased indicated that only the conditions of certain communities will get it. Like subsidized assistance for very poor people in the country. The criteria that will be used will definitely not be much different from the program that focuses on other poor people. That's what I captured from the Action of the El Savador government.
574  Economy / Economics / Re: China cracking down innovation on: September 08, 2021, 02:17:54 PM
I think the crackdown taken by the Chinese government with Alibaba is a form of the existence of a regulator on an object that should comply with policy but because it has become a very large multinational company and dominates the Chinese economy, it makes the owner a little arrogant.  Jack Ma's arrogance by offending financial regulators in China made the government even more annoyed.  Their particular case is in a communist country where they have to comply with all existing policies even if they are not in accordance with the company, this is the weakness of the communist socialist economic system.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 07, 2021, 06:07:21 PM

Portugal is leading 1-0. The goal was scored by Bernardo Silva in collaboration with Bruno Fernandes. Portugal's players have made only one on-target shot. And that is the goal. However, the match did not see the possibility of a draw. Portugal will win, I bet for their victory. I hope I will not lose money.

Portugal's match against Azerbaijan was very boring because it was certain at the beginning that Portugal would win.  Because this is still a preliminary round involving a strong team and a weak team in 1 match.  Ended with a score of 3-0 to close the match this time.  Next time Portugal will meet Qatar, it will be quite warm because at least Qatar is stronger than Azerbaijan.  But Portugal will still be ahead in the next match.
576  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the new gold standard of the future on: September 07, 2021, 05:18:09 PM
Compared to that, Bitcoin looks far better.

Prior to 1971, the world monetary system was still using the gold standard so that at that time the economy was still stable because fiat had an underlying asset, namely gold.  But after 1972's, the US betrayed the world by printing dollars without any more gold collateral or I call it government money, causing massive inflation throughout the world to this day.  It can be seen how the current condition of the fiat value continues to decline without any appreciation.  In the 2010s, BTC became one of the most successful public currency representatives to date and proved how appreciative value is.  From the start only 1USD to 45K USD.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: September 07, 2021, 03:35:52 PM
Michael Saylor's strategy regarding the commitment to bitcoin apparently caused anger in the S&P Dow Jones Indices, they decided to make the following adjustments to the S&P 500, S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices, including MicroStrategy Inc.which will be removed from the S&P SmallCap 600. The changes will take effect before the opening of trading on Monday, September 20, 2021, to coincide with the quarterly rebalancing: Healthcare Services Group will replace $MSTR MicroStrategy Inc. in the S&P SmallCap 600. MicroStrategy is no longer suitable for the S&P SmallCap 600, as well as United Insurance Holdings, according to a press release from S&P Dow Jones Indices. https://www.spglobal.com/spdji/en/documents/indexnews/announcements/20210903-1443045/1443045_sept2021-546-shuf-rebal.pdf

The anger of the S&P Small Cap 600 Index is so baseless that they even mention that the MSTR strategy is no longer compatible with the index.  It seems to be fairer, they should explain more specific points.  Which strategy is not suitable, does the company open in BTC investments making the index problematic?  where is the problem.  Even so far, MSTR's share price has remained stable.  which market capitalization do they measure? 578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 07, 2021, 02:16:02 PM

so far harry kane has been able to break many records in english football and even he is one of the most dangerous strikers in the premier league, but as you said, if now harry kane feels like he is trapped in tottenham hotspur and of course it is quite painful if his performance which has been quite impressive so far but has not been able to award him a prestigious trophy, in my opinion, this season will likely be the same season for harry kane at tottenham, scoring a lot of goals but no trophies Grin

But this time the situation is a little different, as far as matches in the premier league.  Tottenham have lead at the top of the table, if Kane can take this golden opportunity with a team that continues to stabilize their position then I am sure this time Kane will not fail to win trophies for his career and team.  Even though Kane is currently not the only best striker because we already know each other that the Premier League has a famous sticker that used to be in other leagues.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 06, 2021, 04:06:22 PM
Why is the conversation about Ronaldo still so hot in this thread? Ronaldo's return to his old club is not a very crucial thing to be discussed repeatedly. It's true that he is a reliable sticker but not necessarily able to make Man United champions in this league or in the Champions League. Victory in football is not determined by one person but by the cooperation of his team. It's more interesting to talk about Arsenal having to beat Norwich than hoping for a big contribution from Ronaldo to his old club.
580  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is helping out Cubans and Venezuelans on: September 06, 2021, 03:31:12 PM
Not Cubans, they're a communist country so I don't think that they're going to benefit too much with bitcoin plus they wouldn't have any use of it if they have one because they probably rely on P2P and I am pretty sure that there's not a lot of people there that have money to buy their crypto.

Well we cannot really say that since we don't know more deeper about their situation but we cannot disclose that they can't afford to buy bitcoins as they still have works and businesses so for sure they can afford to buy at any amount they can spend with it. And since there's a news spreading about Cuba is thinking about legalizing bitcoin then for sure their government is now looking for possibilities and how they can get benefit for adopting it, maybe in next following months we can see their decision so let see what will happen to it as for sure they are now monitoring on the progress of El Salvador after they accept bitcoin as their Legal tender.
Cuba is very serious about its plans to legalize Bitcoin as a legal tender.  Like El Salvador, which first made it a legal tender in the country.  Currently, the people of El Salvador must have made a very large profit especially because the market has returned to its stable position.  If 2 months ago they had Bitcoin in their hands then today the value of BTC they have held will increase very high.  Is there any money in this world that appreciates more than Bitcoin.  Even the USD alone is not that strong.
