563  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinSeat on: March 11, 2015, 03:30:28 PM
thank you for the encouragement.
much appreciated.
for the time being its on the dead track. maybe one day or if some senior members give it a little push..
nevertheless, if well organised and all securities met. i think this might work
564  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinSeat on: March 10, 2015, 10:38:29 PM
no. actually you are right..
after posting that came to my mind

but the amount can relatively be reduced for like 4 seaters per cycle which makes the price not really sturated but yes, its crypto, can go high up or low down in matter of seconds.

4 seaters will get an equivalent of a month with 1 per week. makes it not that tough now. and 4bitcoin is quite an amount for a small project.

of course the intiate aspect of seating is not to give out big amount and expect bigger quickly

its to cycle the bitcoin and give others opportunity to use the required amount

for the banking system i already have my idea mingling in my head, if people agrees to seating, i will need 3 hero members for the document handling. and the public crypto bank handling for the 3hero member to distribute the coins to seaters when the time comes.

i need more ideas people.

i am glad at least one person replied me. i thought i would get an empty post thread. thanks
565  Economy / Services / Re: I need some one to buy me a $3700 laptop on Amazon. Paying 9.50 bitcoins!!! on: March 10, 2015, 10:32:01 PM
1. swearing and acting like a punk wont bring you nothing
2. you might still check the link i sent. check the bitcoin thread, might workout for you.
3. honestly think you should calm down a bit. i know some member really get newbies hyper. ive been through that a lot.

and 4. good luck with your stuff. and pay nothing without escrow. on any forum you might want to use. escrow first
566  Bitcoin / Project Development / BitcoinSeat on: March 10, 2015, 10:08:36 PM
What does a seat means :

a seat is a group of people joining hands together to make a certain fix amount of money circle around them for a certain number of duration.

example;

30 people enroll in a seat.
each invest 1 bitcoin (just a random amount)

they choose for how long the seat will go ( days month weeks year)

suppose they choose weeks.

30 person means 30weeks.

week 1 : Mr . 1 gets 30 bitcoins (he can finance his project) [[Mr.2 till Mr.30 invest 1 bitcoin in the seat]]

week 2 : Mr . 2 gets 30 bitcoins (to finance his project) [[Mr.1 and Mr.3 to Mister 30 invest 1 bitcoin in the seat]]

some people would say how much do i need to invest to get 30coins to finance myself.

answer : 1 bitcoin per week

and in the end you will still get 30bitcoins. everybody is able to finance his project for and repayback everyweek

its more like a non interest loan which circles around a group of people for a fixed duration.

well its just an idea for the time being.

up points :

1. many people will be able to finance their project
2. bitcoin will circulate more
3. any amount may be invested as long as all seaters agree to the amount.

drawbacks :

1. not everyone is honest
2. will need a physical ID and a signed paper from everyone who agrees in the seat
3. i will get many negative feedback for this idea Cheesy

but the idea behind it is cycling bitcoins amongst desired seaters to finance their project and repay back slowly.

i am planning to make a website with all security fields necessary as well as hero member of bitcointalk to be the bankers. but i need advices and more ideas of how to make this run well and get possible seaters.

as long as seaters are honest, things might work out great.

or its just another stupid idea from me..... again
                                                                    *sigh*

I don't get it.. It's kind of a mini youtube?

Is it bitcoin related in anyway?  Huh

thats what it looks like to me. almost the same message as youtube also. no videos loaded as far as i can tell though.
OP you should add a few to get the site started

i didnt know where to start. i am trying mate.

any help would be very useful thank you.

i want to make it category based. i dont want a mingle of 100,000,000 videos. just some specific categories where good videos will be posted.

no need to monetize or whatsoever.

just for fun and self satisfaction if anyday it hits 1,000 views or 1,000 videos. i will be happy about it

570  Economy / Economics / Re: one question tickling my mind on: March 06, 2015, 07:00:50 PM
It doesn't matter how long it has been kept, the coins will still be there in the blockchain. Technically it's also not the Bitcoins that are stored, it's just that you know the private and it can be used to access the coins. Well that is provided that the guy still has the private keys to the coins and managed to retrieve it. I can't imagine the 50k that used to be worth almost close to nothing will be now worth millions.

And don't forget the 10k btc pizza!

Well most of us didn't think that we will come to where we are right now. If only I took notice of bitcoins way back 2009, I would definitely become a millionaire.

But nah, there are still some opportunities out there. Smiley

mate you mean BILLIONAIRE.

remember they were worth 1300$ at one time? lol

1,000,000 bitcoins would be 1.3 BILLION$
damn.. bring my time machine here Cheesy

Why in the world would the price fall to 1-2 $ because its limited supply ? The point of limited supply is increase of value, not its loss, it works other way around.

Limited supply only corresponds to high price if there is sufficient demand.
Future demand for bitcoin can't be reliably estimated - for example, a theoretical new crypto currency might prove vastly superior to bitcoin, and bitcoin holders would try to exchange their bitcoin assets into that new currency. In such a situation, demand would become pretty low while supply would be temporarily much higher than what is generated through mining. In such a situation, there may be additional factors: Miners might be shut off when bitcoin price becomes too low to make their operation economically feasible, and block times might temporarily become much longer (before difficulty adjustment correcty for the loss in mining power) making bitcoin even less attractive.
This is a completely theoretical scenario, but it's not impossible.

Onkel Paul

exactly my point. its not a stamp collection that will always get appreciated on the market.
agreed that many people started using bitcoins for daily deals now. but if like you say something else pops up, it will be drastically devalued.

also cypto has no 100% holding value. it might drop dead anytime or boom high.

well lets just sit back and watch. for the time being its dropping a bit
573  Economy / Economics / Re: one question tickling my mind on: March 05, 2015, 12:42:03 PM
"Hind sight is 20/20"

It's easy to look back and know what you would have done.

But what about today? In 5 years Bitcoin may be worth $10,000 each. Most of us will be saying "I should have bought hundreds of bitcoins when they were only $300 each. Some people will be saying "I did buy hundreds of bitcoins when they were $300 each, and now I'm rich!"

TT

or due to its limited quantity the price might just drop dead to 1-2$ each and people would say, damn should have sold
574  Economy / Economics / Re: one question tickling my mind on: March 05, 2015, 12:24:14 PM
they don't lose their intrinsic value, just the value given by people in the world

so 50k bitcoin from 2011 are still 50k bitcoin today, if you were so good at holding them all  Grin

yeah lol. if anybody knew this kind of cash was coming. i think they would have collected every possible bitcoin they would find lol

But the thing is most of the people back then didn't care about bitcoins until it gained value. :3 Sad to say but things with no value in the past tend to get pricey in the future--and one great example is bitcoin.

TRUE !

i have one question..

in 2011 bitcoins per 50,000 to 500,000 we spent for nothing, just pranking and stuff...

if one person kept 50,000 bitcoins in his account from 2011 up till now,

would the bitcoins still be valid for transactions?

Yup. All bitcoins that are recorded in the block chain ledger are valid and may be spent. There are many cases of lost wallets and some btc are still lying around in there sitting and may not be recovered unless someone develops a way to recover them (brute-forcing, improbable at the time-being).

well thank you for your answer.

but the owners need to be contacted by any means possible. not to ask them but to inject them again in the bitcoin economy..
one day when no bitcoins will be mined anymore we will need every single bitcoins to get everything back to a cycle economy..

ive seen some blockchains with over 100,000 bitcoins.

and some with 50,000 bitcoins and then the balance is 0 because they used it when bitcoins were worth nothing yet.

579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: March 04, 2015, 05:31:56 PM
if it stays on 275-285 we should still be very happy.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: March 04, 2015, 02:30:35 PM

they would want it to stay at 280, get people used to the price then rapidly just make it fall back to 200$ or less even. and then in some weeks rise it again because low ballers would have already sold their bitcoins and thus the rise is the most profitable for them rather then than now..

basics

Would they now oh right, and back to $200 you say lolol! At least in that crazy prediction you have wrote it down and we will know if it comes that you did predict it because lets face it you have no proof you predicted this rise do you  Wink You make very little sense at best so i will leave you for awhile and let you live out your '200 rapid drop' OR less even fantasy Cool

is it killing your ego to say someone else might be right (or not) ?
lol
what i feel from this forum is that most people when they reach over 100 activity note, they feel really invincible and their ego is bigger than a house.... well if you kill that you might see better.. maybe or maybe not but nevertheless you should never judge someone else intelligence or talks and suppose yours are better.. judging someone makes you vulnerable
