I must have spelled that sentence wrong. originally not sure if it was thermal paste or pad. i opted for the pads of similar thickness as what was left over but evidently it was pasta. the pads when I mounted the heat sinks were pressed well but the result was bad, I even thought about putting 0.2 pads but I don't think it would solve it.

sisi I removed and cleaned, and then applied the new ones. The old ones even seemed thinner than the ones I've used, the contact between cooler and pad was absolutely there.
Maybe I have to try with thermal paste even if they look like pads.

I initially found these, I don't know if it's paste or pad ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.postimg.cc%2F66cwH3z4%2Fphoto-2022-11-22-21-45-23.jpg&t=663&c=I6Q1TjyO8-LNmA)

hi all, since my SPX36 had some units that tended to overheat I thought I'd open it and replace the thermal paste which by now had become dry and faulty. I used 0.5mm thermal pads as what was left of the old ones didn't seem to have any thicker. Today I put it into operation and not with a little surprise I notice that all the units go beyond 90° as if I had made the situation worse. Di seguito le foto: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.postimg.cc%2F5jkZ9Bhj%2Fphoto-2022-11-22-19-58-53.jpg&t=663&c=3ITAEAdoqamdrQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.postimg.cc%2Fpyy6S9mv%2Fphoto-2022-11-22-19-58-59.jpg&t=663&c=TigDgrNFmM-ERQ) Do you think I have the wrong thickness? Or did I use the wrong material? I bought some generic pads from amazon. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

We live in an era where consumerism is the basis of everything. So the problem is not how much money to have because it takes very little to spend it,It all depends on what one wants to do.
I believe that an acceptable standard of living without hardships and too many harmful vices can be achieved with an annual salary of around 150k€ living in europe.
I believe that life shouldn't be just a "I have to work or I won't eat" it's very much an end in itself as a thing and I don't like it at all, as you said previously time is the only precious resource, so working 10h a day for little more than 1000€ means living a condemned existence of being a slave of the society that imposes something on you. Freedom is acquired when the price of something interests you relatively because your purchasing power is high, so you don't care that petrol costs 10 cents more this month, you don't spend the day thinking that perhaps it would have been better save those €100 by not taking your girlfriend or wife to a restaurant.
Do you work to live or do you live to work?
the gap between rich and poor is increasing more and more also because people we see at the top of forbes lists as well as having dozens of companies that produce for them and who therefore bring in an avalanche of money very often don't even have much time to spend it, they are really a lot, that's why you often see news that they buy yachts and villas worth 500 million, it's the only way they can spend the money quickly. Or they buy artwork at random for several million. But in the end they are things as beautiful as they are useless. If I had to have a fortune to spend, I believe that in a lifetime about 100 million should be enough to be able to get rid of 99% of all the whims that may cross your mind.
it's difficult to start from 0, what do you do in a difficult situation like the European one? In Italy, especially, doing anything has become impossible, taxes and bureaucracy destroy young people who want to do something. I am very particular and I don't like being given orders, so I find it difficult to be an employee and certainly there are many others like me who, even with a desire, have had to bend over to being employees by force of circumstances.

since I have few amps and I don't make big purchases I usually buy on ebay.
then, living in Italy, I would still pay quite high customs fees if I had to buy large quantities from China.

With free power and free miners more or less. Even assuming my time was 100% free, just the cost of getting cheap internet would kill any potential money that these miners would make.
Get an LTE connection, even 3G would do, you can mine with a 1-2mbps connection just fine, regardless of how many gears you have -- you could always use a proxy. OP> I think last I checked Antminer S9 was going for like $50 with a PSU, since your miners are an order of magnitude less efficient, I think they won't sell above $10 so anyone who can't pick them up locally would probably refuse to get them even for free. Of course, this might not last forever, in the previous bull market people sold their S9s for $500-600 (they were as cheap as they are today in the 2019 bear market), so if BTC ever recovered to those levels, S9 would probably be at $200-300 and your gears might be worth something again. S9 for $50? I can never find them at that price. 4 months ago I paid $200 for it and currently the prices I see around are more or less those.
