Mahomes does it again as the Chiefs beat the Ravens and secure their spot in the Super Bowl.  Cheesy

I missed the pre-live on the Chiefs earlier, but still took my chances on their live handicap (-6.5) during the half, and I have to say that i'm lucky that it cashed because the Ravens had a lot of chances to get a TD during the second half.

While checking the lines for the Niners and Lions match, I saw a bit of a leak going on.  Wink

Another grand finals curse for Geek Fam. I was really impressed with their run but it seems that they've fallen short to this ESL One Birmingham journey.
I guess the lower bracket momentum is no joke from the side of Talon and winning it all starting from the lower bracket is indeed impressive. The odds even favored Geek Fam, and I saw their odds hovering around 1.30 before the match started. I was close to including them in my parlay, but i'm lucky that I missed it due to the late markets.

Yes, isn't it quite funny a pro-tournament playing team such as BiG loses to these lower tiered teams like Nexus.
Then again, that was the RMR qualifiers, so i'm not surprised that we get to see a few new teams go all out and shock well-known teams like BIG.

Besides that, I just feel that if he deposited $10 = IDR 150,000 into a gambling site just to play slots, he would probably suffer a complete loss. But if he can place bets on sports betting, there is a possibility of him winning some money on small bets. Wouldn't that be an advantage for him?

If you were in this situation, what would you do? Introduce him to sports betting or let him stick to playing slots. Yesterday, I just let it go but we still often meet at other activities.
That complete loss can still happen with sports betting regardless of the advantage you can find from the players and the teams because luck can still affect the match where you'd unexpectedly see underdogs win on certain days.

I'd still suggest it anyway, he'll eventually find out about sports betting now that most casinos have a sportsbook and could enjoy it more than playing casino games. I wouldn't be surprised if he already knows about it but still chose slots.

Funny how BIG went from losing to Nexus ( a fresh CS2 team from Romania ) , then beating Heroic on edge and today beating C9 too. It seems that disband pressure is real and they want to go as deep as they can in the Blast Major but personally , I still think they lack strategy and don't know how to play important moves but also check on time as well while they doing it... Embarrassed
I also didn't expect BIG to eliminate C9 the other day and thought maybe the stomping loss they got from VP broke them.

Poor Blacklist Rivalry, they've lost the first map against Execration. It's funny that Palos came from Execration then moved with Kuku to Team Darleng and now with Blacklist but they keep on losing against these teams.

I'm having this feeling that Geek Fam is going to get this one slot for the SEA.
That only means Blacklist Rivalry has more problems aside from the position 1 department, and they can't underestimate the OQ teams.

I agree Geek Fam should qualify since they have been solid even in the previous qualifier, where they fell short against AR.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hey Gamblers, Here's Some Questions for you. Would Love your Responses on them on: January 28, 2024, 12:42:54 AM
1. What's the most effective method for discovering a new online casino when you're seeking a change from your usual options?
Like the others, i'm still using this forum to find new casinos. I sometimes check crypto casino review sites to see if there are other casinos I might miss because there could be good ones that haven't made it here in the forum.

2. How would you describe your overall satisfaction with any of the mentioned options?
I'd put it around neutral because I rarely use the other three options.

3. Would you recommend a beginner to follow a similar approach based on your personal experiences?
Only if they're willing to read and browse the forum's gambling section.

4. In your opinion, should online casinos adopt corporate social responsibility practices? If yes, what specific initiatives would you like to see them undertake? If no, what is your reasoning behind it?
I'd say yes, there are little to no downsides in giving help to others when casinos could make it back after a day, and that helping hand could go a long way for some people.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 28, 2024, 12:03:50 AM
Boston Celtics - Los Angeles Clippers - Boston Celtics (-5.5) - Both are on a good win streak but the Clippers just played yesterday and it's Boston's home. Only one team defeated them at their home. The Nuggets.
I also have the Celtics spread between this top matchup, and one of the reasons I took the Celtics is because the Clippers always struggle to cover as an underdog on their road matches.

I checked the Clippers' b2b stats and they seem to be doing okay, so we could still have a close game if the Celtics would have an underwhelming second half.

Edit: I guess we fell for the trap, the Celtics are missing too much that they might get their second home loss at this point.

Kinda wondering where do you get this from because liquipedia doesnt list it
I also can't find any trace about the Esports World Cup, but ESL's overview page did give a small hint since they still have one big tournament in July (same month as the Riyadh Masters).

Even without the invite, the amount of EPT points for the tournament winner is nearly the same as securing an invite, given there are only three EPT tournaments leading up to the possible Esports World Cup.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 25, 2024, 12:31:24 AM
The Bucks spread (-6.5) is nice against the Cavs who are currently on their 8th win streak. One part worth noting is that most of the wins the Cavs had recently came from teams they're expected to beat like the Wizards, Hawks, and Nets. The Bucks did lose in their meeting last week, but that was when they didn't have Giannis, and assuming Giannis will be on the lineup, they should have the edge.

Even though the Bucks are likely to win, they're as bad as the Suns if we're talking about the spread, so this one could still go either way.

571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The need to control your emotions as a football fan. on: January 24, 2024, 11:30:43 PM
As gambler and a football fan, it most appropriate for you to always show a good level of emotional intelligence whenever results doesn't go your way, because that's the spirit of sportsmanship,
The results must not always go your way as a gambler, you will lose some and you will win some.

https://x.com/FinaNapoleon/status/1749572663058518185?s=20
This is why i've been avoiding this tournament because the previous AFCON wasn't any different. As a sports bettor, I agree you need to learn to accept these bad results because even the best teams can start to crack on their bad days, and expressing negativity to the players and their management won't solve anything.

It's not about being a gambler. In that situation, fans are just disappointed because that is something unexpected to happen.
The video links OP shared might not be gamblers, but some people can be just as emotional or even worse when their bets lose because of a specific player or team.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What strategies do you adopt that can help to make millions in sport betting on: January 24, 2024, 03:51:16 PM
The best strategy in the poll is going for single bets, but that alone won't make you millions when you still need to put in the time to find the best matches to bet on.

Accumulators are somewhat similar to single bets, so they could also work. The worst part about this strategy is that it could take you hundreds or thousands of accumulators before you can reach the million mark unless you have a big bankroll or have an insane amount of luck like the one that was posted from the thread you've linked.

The rollover is a mix of the two and i'd say it's slightly better than the accumulator. The downside on this one is the same as an accumulator once you lose you're back to the starting point.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 24, 2024, 04:07:30 AM
That was quite a close call, congratulations!

Brooklyn Nets were supposed to call timeout after the second missed throw from Jalen Brunson with about 18 seconds plus left to play but the coach allowed time to run off the clock and that was definitely to their disadvantage as the Knicks were able to set up a defensive play, even with 18 seconds and down 3 they could have gone for a quick 2, and play the long game.
When Brunson missed that second free throw, my heart sank thinking the Nets would spoil the spread and i'm glad they couldn't get one in. Grin

Props to the Nets player who made an unnecessary foul in the last three seconds after they missed that shot.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you preffer your dealer talkative or not? on: January 24, 2024, 02:55:16 AM
I always enjoy listening to talkative dealers, but it still depends on my mood because I have moments where I don't like to engage in a conversation and only focus on playing out the rounds.

It is nice to have a small talk with some dealers as they can give off a welcoming vibe, and it can be entertaining when the other players chime in.

If I can't pick both, i'd probably pick a quiet dealer that's straight to the point because there are levels on the side of the talkative dealers.

One thing I dislike though is that oftentimes dealers have to pay attention to people that see the chat as a flirting app. I'm hoping betting companies would be more strict with that because these people are just cringe and I don't want to cringe when gambling.
I agree there are always users who are down bad while playing.

I think our friend @ralle14 deserved to win with a score of over 1.5 because the result was that Liverpool won with a score of over 3.5 in 45+8 minutes. Diogo Jota is the Liverpool player who opened the door to winning the @ralle14 bet.
Thanks, and also congrats to buwaytress for cashing his chunky $100 freebet multi.

Think ralle14 gets alot of those bets correct and even on another thread he had a parlay of four matches on the NFL thread which were all correct. So it seems he has been the lucky one of us as of late in his betting.
These past few days have been great except for my NBA bets.  Tongue

I guess i'll give the Bet free-6 a shot. I rarely place my predictions there since i'm better at incorrectly predicting the correct scores.  Cheesy

As we're just talking about the first removal from Nigma.Galaxy, there goes the two new additions for another qualifier. They're not going to do good if they keep on changing roster and I think that they're aware of that when they will be just with these players for a very short period of time.

Good to see kiyotaka back on 9Pandas. And for Raven, I think that there will be a lot of opportunities that will be open for him but isn't he playing other roles in the pubs lately?
In my view, this change was a must for Nigma when their previous roster couldn't even beat the other MENA teams like Winter Bear and teams don't have the luxury to wait this season in hopes of improving their teamwork when the qualifiers can be scheduled a few months early.

I don't follow Raven, but I did see some comments mentioning that he initially wanted the offlane role, and he had no other choice since the org already got Gabbi.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 24, 2024, 12:17:00 AM
The Knicks vs. Nets game is so trappy i'm still taking the Knicks since the Nets were atrocious the other day against the Clippers and failed to close out the game while having a big lead.

I guess it'll depend on who'll fuck up less as the Knicks can easily give this away if the Nets can redeem themselves and make little to no mistakes.

Edit: Another lackluster fourth quarter from the Nets and what a comeback from the Knicks, winning by 5 points after going down as much as 10 points.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: January 23, 2024, 04:06:02 PM
@ralle14. Those were my predictions also, I should have also made that bet hehehe. I did not like the spread on all of the games in the divisional. The team I speculated that would cover the spread was the 49ers but they were behind for much of the game against the Packers and lost against the spread.
I also thought the Niners spread would be the easiest one because of their trends in the playoffs, but the Packers performed like they weren't a big underdog and still kept it close while having a couple of turnovers.

@everyone in this thread. On Lamar and the Ravens vs. the Chiefs, Mahomes, Travis and Taylor, what are your predictions? Will the Ravens' defense stop the Chiefs from scoring more than 10 points? I am quite certain the Chiefs' defense will have much difficulty on stopping the Ravens. This -3.5 spread on the Ravens might be an underestimation by the sportsbooks.
I'm still on the Chiefs and I like the extra points because the Ravens didn't look as impressive against the Texans. They only took over during the second half when the Texans' offense started to lose steam. I would easily be on the same side if they dominated from start to finish.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Roller Coaster feeling When You Gambling on: January 23, 2024, 02:02:32 AM
An hour before going to a casino?
Bored and sometimes excited because of the sports bet I placed yesterday.

After logging in and pulling out the games you are about to play?
Positive. Assuming I can get a decent win from these games and end it with a profit.

While playing?
Always in the neutral vibe, I prefer to suppress myself while making bets, and spending less helps a lot.

After you experience successive losses?
Annoyed and motivated. Losing gives me a reason to do better and work on the mistakes i've previously made.

After you won successively?
Worried and happy. I'm happy that I get to go on a winning run, but I also wonder about the worst that could happen after this.

After you log out whether you win or lose?
Acceptance. Understand that I can't always win and accept the luck i've had for today.

Maybe guys you haven't noticed it yet, I've just seen that the ESL One Birmingham open Qualifiers are happening right now. While the main event is far from the date now, they're setting these qualifiers.
I haven't watched any of the recent open qualifiers, but i'll check on it once the closed qualifiers start next week.

We've got some team announcements earlier today.

The L1ga team with Ramzes probably didn't work out that's why Kiyotaka moved back, and Nigma Galaxy now has a better lineup. If it works, they could maybe take over PSG.Quest in the second spot and give Team Falcons a competition.
