561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: August 27, 2017, 04:26:46 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency, no matter what people say about it.
To become a National currency? maybe not at the moment, moreover compare to fiat currency such as dollar.
US Dollar has been around for centuries, bitcoin? Only 8 years. It's not fair to say it can not be when it just in the beginning of the development.
Give bitcoin 20 years, and let's see what it can achieve.
562  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Post your SegWit questions here - open discussion - big week for Bitcoin! on: August 27, 2017, 03:28:01 PM
Since the SW is activated, how can a user now send a SW transaction?
E.g., I'm using an Electrum wallet, a BitPie wallet, and have a qt full node, and sometimes I also send from/to an exchange or shapeshift.
That whether a transaction is SW or not, depends on the sending address, receiving address, or both? How can I create a SW transaction to lower the fee?

Ledger has supported Segwit recently.
Bitcoin Core is another option but you can only do so using CLI at the moment.
Electrum dev said on github that next version will be released soon letting you create and send segwit addresses.

IMO, most major wallets are ready for segwit. They just didn't let you do so before Segwit finally activated.

It's good for whoever already used ledger wallet or bitcoin core which can transact through segwit chain.
There are over 24K unconfirmed transactions and BTC7 total fees right now, better than yesterday obviously which reached over 80K unconfirmed transactions. Usually I checked current network regarding unconfirmed transactions to predict how much fees to be paid and how long I should wait for the transaction to be confirmed.
I do not use ledger wallet or bitcoin core, but I can confirm current fees through blockhain.info walet is convenience around BTC0.00022218 for BTC0.0535, but not for electrum, still have to pay high fees for small amount transaction. Electrum devs takes more time to update their codes.
563  Economy / Economics / Re: Will early adoring countries get large economic benefits from BTC? on: August 27, 2017, 02:02:21 PM
Will countries that are early to adopt and allow Bitcoin be able to turn this into an economic advantage to them where they're better off than before?

Economics advantage? yes
Bitcoin is a precious digital currency which the value increases over time, if a country legalize bitcoin as a legal payment such as in Japan, it's makes people easily transact bitcoin without no doubt, more companies and businesses will accept bitcoin as well and cause more bitcoin circulated in their country.
Citizens will get many benefits from bitcoin in circulation which affected economics indirectly.
564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: August 26, 2017, 11:46:53 PM
Whenever those coins soaring is the right time to sell, but depend on what kind of coin that we want to sell, bitcoin, ethereum, monero, and tons of new coins will be different. There is certain point to be set according to your prediction, as long as you've made profits, then it's fine. Don't be too greedy.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: kickico info on: August 26, 2017, 10:32:15 AM
KickICO not just idea. I believe it will succeed

I believe so, as KickICO preICO successfull raised 5000 ETH https://www.kickico.com/campaigns/999/kickico-preico and ICO goal is 50,000 ETH.
But, the most important factor that makes it worth is KickICO already have a final product which is working platform.
KickICO ICO will go live in 3 days, on August 29th and make sure you do not miss it.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hoping for Bitcoin to drop on: August 25, 2017, 11:44:18 PM
It is good that Bitcoin's price is so high since many gained many profit from it. But this hype is too much. Bitcoin is so much expensive now and every step we see Bitcoin increase. Well, I say it is time to go down. A price around 3000 USD is reasonable but going beneath that is much preferred.

What would it take to make Bitcoin's value to drop again? A new hard fork? whales dumping coins? anything, I just hope Bitcoin to drop tremendously.

Bitcoin price may decline again in November when segwit2x hard fork will happen, any bad news will affect bitcoin price but not sure how much it will drop.
I expect bitcoin price could fall down to $3000 again, and current price will slowly increases until reach over $5000, so if you want to buy bitcoin just buy it right now, sell at the peak and buy back at the dip in November.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: August 25, 2017, 08:11:38 AM
Bitcoin has huge potential and still in the beginning of the development but already reach over $4000 per BTC1.
Numerate those reasons regarding advantages of bitcoin and its future prospect as a major digital payment and be accepted everywhere.
Before decide to invest in bitcoin, we should know about disadvantages of bitcoin in short term, but over all it's more likely profitable in the long term.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit Activation any time now... on: August 24, 2017, 11:51:06 PM
Yes, segwit already activated but the problem is most wallet provider still have to update their software in order to support segwit transactions, basically new address required and we have to send all of our bitcoins to the new address. I am still waiting for new information about it and it may takes few days to get the new update from wallet developer.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you see bitcoin in the future? on: August 24, 2017, 05:24:09 PM
Bitcoin should be able being used along with fiat currencies as an alternative curency, if govs regulate and declare bitcoin as a legal payment method just like in Japan. If govs doesn't regulate bitcoin, at least let it develop and not be banned in their countries. Bitcoin is a better monetary system compare to centralized currency that controlled by central banks which usually used for the benefit for several people by sacrifice many others.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC/BCH (Bitcoin cash) on: August 24, 2017, 06:52:55 AM
So unlucky with me i bought BCH at 0.13 and sell it at 0.09 because i was thinking that become a dead coins already when it come down to 0.07 im so scared that i would lose all my btc so i sold it in a lower price then now the price goes up again and i regret that im such a weak hands im not planing to hold it but i just want to recover my btc but for me BCH is too slow to transact its too bad for this coin

Lol Grin Grin, that's the problem when you are going into trading activity, always feels anxious or worrying whenever its price decline.
Well, every coin has it own advantages and ever reach certain all time high, especially for bitcoin cash that has good potential with 8Mb and ever reached over $1000, it will rebound after fall down obviously. More hash rate support bch because it's more profitable and so on. No need to worry if you can hold for a month, but feel anxious every day in a month is a bad thing Grin
571  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction time on: August 24, 2017, 03:22:49 AM
This problems has been debated for years, we know all of it, high fees, long time to be confirmed, spam attacks and so on.
But the thing is, core developers thinks and treat bitcoin from technical or engineering perspective and bitcoiners demand for better user experience which can't be fulfilled for now because there are some people called miners which always looking for profits, as long as we have to pay higher fees > miners always like it and trying to prolong the process to upgrade bitcoin nodes for a better user experience.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i care about mining as a trader? on: August 23, 2017, 11:24:38 PM
As a matter of fact, yes. Though you are not directly knowing what's happening in the scene, you should still know some important things about it. First is the date of their payout. Usually I use this one since some miners just carelessly dump their mined coins in the market without knowing the price. This could be turned into a profit later on if the price went down hard. Next is whether there are a significant amount of hash power directed towards the coin you're interested in. More hash power = more support and probably more interest in the said coin.

Consider hash power and how much the miners could generate coins, yes it could be useful in case of these miners sell out their coins.
But, doesn't mean coins prices will be dump hardly. The day of their payout is daily obviously for the big miners and there is no way to know when they will sell it, whether daily, weekly or whenever they need to.
573  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-24] Bitcoin Price Struggles To Break Free Of Current Range on: August 23, 2017, 10:52:40 PM
There is another milestone in November that can easily push that mental barrier to be broken, but the question is can it be sustained again? or their will be a price crash?

Milestone in November? The only thing of significance to happen in November is that the 2MB hard fork of Segwit2x is going (or better said, supposed) to kick in. I don't really see this as a milestone, but more as something that potentially might put us through another chain split again. Just because not much in the negative meaning has happened with the most recent chain split, will not automatically mean that we will walk out of such situation without any damage once again. In that regard, purely due to the uncertainties and the increased level of fud, I expect a decline in the runup to November. People thought that when Segwit activation is completed, that we are all done with everything related to scaling, but that's obviously not the case until we walk out undamaged in November.

Another milestone in November just refers to another chain split, nothing more.
And bitcoin price may be decline around $700-$1500 I guess, just be prepared to buy at discount time.
Current price still persist over $4000 and segwit will activated soon, BIP 141 (Segregated Witness) activation is scheduled to take place in: 24 Blocks, which mean $5000 is near, just few days ahead.
574  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL]WeiMixer.com Ethereum Mixer | Signature Campaign | $3/post | Jr. and Above on: August 23, 2017, 12:59:33 PM
You are mistaken my friend. This campaign doesn't require any manager to check posts . There is a bot who counts the posts every 2 hours and the owner himself will regularly check that no-one is spamming .

And the owner is not a trusted person, just a newbie and he already against his words.
"This campaign is automatic you don't have to wait for anyone to approve your application."

Even now anyone can join the campaign on https://weimixersig.com but it doesn't mean their posts will be counted for points because like it was said there is a maximum of 50 slots.
On page 5 I posted that I will post today before 15:00 UTC time the list of users that got accepted and will have their posts counted(to earn points/$).

I believe its not logic to think that this campaign is scam, why?Because our first payment will be August 28 which is very soon and if we don't pay then I think it's safe to say that entire WeiMixer project will never be trusted by anyone ever.

I have never said this is scam but seems so shady imo.
I just stand for them who ask for your words ; "This campaign is automatic you don't have to wait for anyone to approve your application."
Just like I've said before, better to not mention accept jr. member and member ranks in the first place.

I am out, no more.

There is no any guarantee that you will get your payment as well.
this campaign isn't automatic, and there is no escrow.
577  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL]WeiMixer.com Ethereum Mixer | Signature Campaign | $3/post | Jr. and Above on: August 23, 2017, 12:40:25 PM
To anyone wondering why they weren't accepted please check this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2111007.msg21108551#msg21108551

It's not possible that everyone gets accepted there were more than 160 users that joined the campaign and like it was said in the first post there is a limited amount of slots.

"This campaign is automatic you don't have to wait for anyone to approve your application.
All you have to do is register your Bitcointalk userID on our website and you are ready to go."

That are your conditions to join. So you should at least pay first 50 participants for their postings from yesterday to today.

So sad, better to not mention accepting jr. member and member rank in the first place.
This signature is so shady I guess, Op said automatic but the fact it's not.
And there is no escrow or manager to check participants posts every week.
578  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Pump and dump bot? What do you think? on: August 22, 2017, 11:33:34 PM
The idea of trading bot is never miss an opporunity to buy and sell at the right time whenever pump and dump happen, but the most important thin s to choose which coin to be an object. I have never use trading bot before but it's look so tempting to tried, but unfortunately I'm not a trader  Grin.
I am sure trading bot will be profitable as long as people are not greedy, always set for big profits which cause his orders may never be executed.
579  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Faster blocks fork on: August 22, 2017, 10:47:28 PM
Still have to learn more about advantages and disadvantages of bigger block.
I really want to see bitcoin transactions be confirmed in matter of seconds instead of waiting for more than 10 minutes even hours for every transaction.
Don't want to pay high fees compare to bytes of bitcoin transaction, it's unattractive to new users and for all of us which ever just paid BTC0.0001xx for bigger transactions.
What does this mean: Orphans for everyone, but that's fair? Orphans?
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL NOW, big bitcoin dump! No fud. on: August 22, 2017, 03:47:49 PM
I wish I knew about bitcoin pump and dump, but we don't know about it for sure but just speculate whether it will goes up or fall down later.
But, we do know that bitcoin price will always recover simply because it is the king of cryptocurrency. No matter what, bitcoin will be always be the one because it has real usability compare to tons of altcoins out there. Bch is a free coin, and whenever it reach higher price will be dumped immeddiately.
