561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for some trusted gambling site. on: October 18, 2017, 11:39:00 PM
Primedice for dice gambling site !

Luckyb.it the original plinko I've ever known !

Fortune Jack is just like casino

Stake provide many type of your favorite gambling site

Bustabit , the original money pot but has been improved !

Primedice is one of the oldest dice sites and surely many people like that site for a dice game. But fortunejack site has got a lot of different games to choose along with dice game and they also provide a live support and instant withdrawal facilities. I didn't play any games yet on stake until now but it should be one of the trusted sites to consider for gambling.

Primedice is dice site mean while fortunejack is casino site so I think you can't compare both of them because it is totally different thing, although you guys have dice too but I believe most of them are not going to play for it compare to other games on your site. Btw you said they have live support but if it has slow response so what is the point of having live support right? I do not said primedice has better but at least they do it in a better way

That is a good differentiation. If you want to play just dice, then primedice is indeed a good one to go to. But if you want really good variety, Fortunejack is the way to go. Both are very trust worthy and no issues what so ever that would put them both in a bad light. Usually they have some problems but most of the time it gets resolved fairly quick.
562  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Basketball Fantasy League that Accepts Bitcoin???? on: October 18, 2017, 11:28:11 PM
Hello fellow members with the NBA Season starting can anyone of you suggest the best Basketball Fantasy Sports League out there that is on par with Yahoo Fantasy Sports. My Criterias are:
1. Accepts Bitcoin as mode of Betting.
2. Accepts players globally. (Some Fantasy Leagues are strict which they only accept U.S. Players)
3. On par with Yahoo Fantasy.

That will be all.

I am not sure if there are any yet that is in existence. Although, I think there is a market for it and probably someone should make one for the community. Probably there would be a lot of people that would be interested in it and play it. Though, problem is this is something like poker. It's too much of a niche and probably profit margins are not really great on these games.
563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold my Bitcoin today on: October 18, 2017, 10:52:20 PM
I see no harm in what you did, just be careful not to miss rise in price when you plan to buy again. Price of Bitcoin can rise fast, be prepared and follow price as much as you can. Maybe it was smart to sell, but I believe that price will rise after SegWit2x. There fill be fall before that, it happened before. But after it price will go up again. Maybe it would be even better to wait for that price drop to buy. What ever you decide you can not make a big mistake, Bitcoin price has always been going up Cheesy .

I agree, I also did the same. The rise is pretty good right now, and I think prices will get a correction before Segwit2x and it will rise really high after it. That's been the norm lately and we can all check it through the charts. Every time there is an issue with bitcoins it goes down and when the issue is resolved bitcoins just goes up. Pretty normal occurrence with bitcoins.
564  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 by 2018 is looking now like a possibility on: October 18, 2017, 10:47:23 PM
Indeed $10,000 by 2018 is looking like a possibility. All the investors might be so excited!!! Cheesy
Yes sure,i think 10k in 2018 is very possible but with this with this kind of growth he can over 20k in 2018,i hope that other currency will growth like bitcoin.
10,000 isn't even looking impossible before the end of 2017. It's astronomically high compared to the prices by the end of 2016, but I think it's way possible to happen just by basing on how things are running right now. $20,000 isn't looking impossible as well by 2018 and maybe mcafee is looking like the prophet we were all looking for. $100,000 might be possible by 2020.
565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Factors Influencing Bitcoin's Price Right Now on: October 18, 2017, 10:42:53 PM
http://www.investopedia.com/news/two-factors-influencing-bitcoins-price-right-now/

Interest from Institutional Buyers

and

Interest from Asia

I guess the big banks are realizing the potential of bitcoins and now they want in on it. That's just how things are when a new technology is emerging people would want to invest into it and get a piece of the pie. Now the early adopters will likely be super stoked to know that prices will go up again in the near future. Probably it could even go as high as 10,000 at the end of the year.
566  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Full citizenship of the Pacific nation of Vanuatu for less than 44 bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 11:13:33 PM
That's indeed really interesting, though the price is extremely expensive. Though if I would be a billionaire in anything I would likely move to this country. That would be a good place to keep my money as there is no income tax or capital gains. Since bitcoins are not taxable per se anywhere yet, I think it should be taxed as capita gains, which means in Vanuatu it is tax free, well even income tax is not charged so I everyone in crypto are safe here.
567  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop after fork 25th on: October 17, 2017, 10:47:49 PM
Do you think the value of Bitcoin gold is priced into the price of BTC, thus we will see a drop similar to the value of Bitcoin Gold after the fork?

It will just be another shitcoin that tried to topple bitcoins. I don't think it will ever prosper and replace bitcoins as it is now. It will also just be free money for everyone holding bitcoins and that makes the whales a lot richer that it is now. I think it's becoming something of a profit generating scheme than just creating something good out of code. That's the sad truth about this.
568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turn $10,000 into 1 Million on: October 17, 2017, 10:43:57 PM
This would have been quite easy back in 2009-2010. All you have to do is buy bitcoins and wait a few years and now your even a billionaire if you had $10,000 worth of bitcoins back in those time. Well, we cannot turn back time and we could not have bought those bitcoins. But we can do is just still invest into bitcoins and I think it will still profit a handsome sum of money.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2017, 02:49:17 PM
why bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency because bitcoin is the first hashing digital currency bitcoin the new era of financial form and obviously bitcon change the generation of currency using the new technology.

It is not! Bitcoins were not the first cryptocurrency for everybody's info! If you all check even the white paper of satoshi, he has attributed a lot of works of other cypherpunks. There have been a lot of cryptocurrencies before bitcoins, but only bitcoins made a blockchain which has been the defining feature it had over the others. You better read on your history.
570  Economy / Goods / Re: What is the best site to buy used phones with Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 02:45:21 PM
I don't think there are any. There isn't a big enough marketplace accepting bitcoins if you are looking for something too specific like that. Ebay would be good though they don't accept bitcoins, so it would be an internal agreement. Your best bet is to just get a bitcoin debit card that would suit your needs. Just reload your debit card with bitcoins then you just buy it using your paypal or directly use it on the site.
571  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Accepting bitcoin for service on: October 16, 2017, 02:41:44 PM
Hello

I'm totally new to bitcoin.
What needs to be done if i want to accept micro bitcoin for services that i offer? What type of set up i need to do?

Thanks
Steve

I think it would be better to just use those trusted bitcoin payment processors like coinpayments or bitpay. That's easier compared to other solutions that would involve development of your own system. I read somewhere before that if you use wordpress there are ecommerce plugins that allow integration of bitcoin payments where you only need to input your xpub.
572  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-15] Bitcoin Has Barely Reached 1% of its Potential: Expert Blog on: October 15, 2017, 11:51:03 PM
I can't imagine though how we would be able too put everything in the blockchain with less than 1 satoshi as fees. If they are really speculating that prices will go as high as that, where a few satoshi is already worth hundreds of dollars. How would we write on the block chain then? Fees should really go down by a lot if this was to happen. Right now a 100,000 satoshi fee just to confirm a transaction will not be ideal for this prediction.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: October 15, 2017, 11:40:42 PM
I guess there are more rich people now more than ever! Prices just went from 0-60 in 3.5 (car reference, Tongue). Anyway, I think the recent price pump as made a lot more millionaires and a lot more early adopter billionaires. I guess, the saying goes, "to the moon!" The prices are really skyrocketing and I think we'll reach another new floor price for bitcoins.
574  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Price Pumps and Forks on: October 15, 2017, 11:30:59 PM
Most of people see correct after btcgold fork,i agree.Than we have that seagwit2x fork.I already saw posts how diffrent btc chains will like to kill each other to be only one btc.Now thay use word kill,i think seagwit2x fork can be used for deeper correction
It only makes sense for the market to correct after the gold fork, if the recent all time high is the result of people anticipating on this 'airdrop' by buying Bitcoin ~ that's something I don't think is happening right now.

SegWit2x poses an actual threat, and for that reason might end up taking the market down prior to the fork date, and even afterwards if everything turns out to be a complete chaos.

For now, I see the SegWit2x fork as the last major obstacle for Bitcoin to overcome. I seriously hope that the closer we come to the fork date, the more miners will end up withdrawing themselves from their initial agreement.

Yeah, prices will surely go down a few days before the segwit2x happens. This is really the trend with bitcoins, it usually drops before something speculatively bad happens like back when the fork for BCH and segwit was a looming mystery. I don't think this situation will be any better. The best course of action is sell when it's high then buy back when it goes down.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone have ever tried betting with cryptocurrency in offline card game? on: October 13, 2017, 11:59:47 AM
Me, my brother and father sat on a mat this festive season where people usually play cards, I have given both of them some ethereum.
Than we started playing cards and we settled all our winnings in ETH, we have used jaxx wallet for ETH.

It was really fun and we settled all payments instantly. In this way I have also taught them how to use crypto.  Do you guys have ever tried anything like this?

That is an interesting concept! What if we can create a casino that uses its own cryptocurrency. This currency will be used in all the casinos that supports the currency and it can be stored in your very phone. Then when you want to go to the casino and gamble you don't have to change your fiat to chips or whatever electronic card system they have. All you need is your phone.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best way to quit gambling and start trading?? on: October 13, 2017, 11:54:28 AM
Cut your losses.

Despite having lost a lot of money. Despite not being able to win back the money you lost. Despite the prospect of gaining profit or winning a huge amount of BTC or money - just drop everything and stop. Do it now, and not tomorrow or once you've reached your quota or desired number of winnings. It's going to be hard and you'll experience withdrawals if you're already addicted to gambling but it is possible if you have the discipline. Try to distract yourself by putting all your time and effort on other doing things such as doing recreational activities.
I think this is one of the strategies in poker, when you don't think your cards are going to win just fold and cut your losses. Instead of raising your bets again and again with just a bluff and no chance of ever winning just fold. This is hard to do, but there is really nothing you can do about your cards and you can't always bluff your way to winning the pot because everybody folded.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: October 13, 2017, 11:43:24 AM

All your profits are eaten up by Bitdice losses. In lost two weeks someone is winning big from this site and if this continues for another two weeks then better take out that investment for some time until you see better results from them instead just wait and lose your money. Except for that site, all others are doing good.

I too feel the same OP should take out his investments from bitdice if next week also if get losses from this site.

Fishy though, if someone is winning consistently in a site, then there should be an investigation on how that guy  is winning so much. There might be a problem with one of the games and that guy was able to exploit the bug. However, if it is all legit, we can't do anything about it. I would say that usually there is that guy that wins a lot but he gets greedy and he losses everything in the end.
578  Economy / Gambling / Re: Established Bitcoin Dice Site with over 475 Bitcoin Wagered Possible ICO on: October 13, 2017, 11:36:49 AM
OP if you want to be an "Established Bitcoin Dice Site" make your own gambling site, and don't keep on relying on moneypot. You just relied on them to get your stats, but to be honest you don't have anything reliable so that people will believe your site. Don't even think of making an ICO, don't go over your head. It will not succeed. Like what Lutpin here posted, even moneypot (the very platform your gambling site is operating on) has failed in their ICO. So how do you know that you would have a better luck at it?
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: October 13, 2017, 11:23:53 AM
I don't feel anything. Because now, i'm gambling just using faucet. Bored to make deposit continues, while rarely do withdrawal.
You should not really expect to made withdrawals on just playing purely on faucet amounts. You are showing here that you are just playing for nothing since you dont feel anything at all. Then why would bother to play on faucets? If you do like to feel of winning you can actually do such thing even on those few satoshis given by gambling sites.
Same here! I also don't feel anything about gambling but it is not due to the faucets. It is because there is no fun in this game, no benefits no fitness, nothing at all. You place a bet, then wait for randomly generated results while sitting back doing nothing and face defeat more because house has the edge over you. Such a wastage of time and money it is. Honestly friend, much better is to have a silent walk.

It really depends on the person gambling, of course it is not for everyone. Some  people just don't enjoy it as much as other do. Like your interest and hobbies, it won't be liked by everybody in the population. If you guys feel that way then that is you, but I guess gamblers love the feeling of excitement knowing that he may double his money or that he could lose everything he has.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: October 13, 2017, 11:08:22 AM
If I was going to gamble for profit I would use bitcoin but if it just for fun and enjoyment I would be more inclined to use alt coins. Although if I did win big with them I would have been annoyed that I didn't use bitcoin.

What's the difference, I see no difference with what you just stated. There is no advantage when you use bitcoins for gambling if you just want to enjoy or you want to make a profit. They both have the same chances of winning or even profits. If you gamble with altcoins it is also the same, you will have no advantage doing so. In fact it is much more disadvantageous to use altcoins as you have the converting to it problem.
