561  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: December 05, 2016, 01:54:58 AM
It's been over a year since the last time I ventured in mining. I have mined some altcoins, but I sold most of them to buy Bitcoin. Today I do not regret it, because almost all of these coins fell in value, to a much lower value than they had at the time. But it will depend on which coin you are mining, and the potential it has to increase in value.
Well i am same mining some altcoin before that honestly it can gives you good profit.. i am waiting for the price increase before i sell my altcoin..
Since i have computer shop and some of them i use for mining and honestly it gives me a good profit with my shop..
Savings is more important and mining and sell it in the right time in order to make a good profit.
Patience is very important in that way, sometimes altcoins does not increase very fast like bitcoin, you need to have a goal before selling so you will be able to apply the right timing on selling your altcoins until it becomes a shit coins.
562  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: December 05, 2016, 01:45:21 AM
frankly, I do not know how to develop the gold into something beneficial in quick time, while bitcoin, has many options to make it a lot more, such as using it for investments or business

Gold is mostly being used as a long term store of value tool by the average person and large scale investors, and not to book quick profits. That's something you should keep in mind. Bitcoin operates on a completely other level at this point. Bitcoin is sufficient enough to offer people the short term profits that they so badly love. With that in mind it's fairly easy to assume that both options attract different types of people.
Gold is safer for long term investment as it guaranteed you profit, however most of the investors are not in the level to invest with gold. We want to grow our money fast and good thing here's bitcoin to realize that for us, we need to learn how the market move so we can take advantage and earn profit.
563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount to start as a trader? on: December 05, 2016, 01:38:27 AM
minimal number 1 bitcoin trading.

You need to be confident in yourself to give 1 BTC for trading. That is serious money for many of us here, and I traded with 20 times less money.
Its not about money, trading is for skilled people. Smart trader will make profit with every amount, and in some time with 10 $ he will make 100 or more dollars.

But we can't be skilled at the start therefore we have to learn first, the amount of money use for trading should vary on your experience and must track his own record in trading for him to monitor his performance and will be able to improve what is his weaknesses.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 05, 2016, 01:27:24 AM
They won't do that because they can't but I dont know what will happen. Civil war ? I k ow many people will be very very upset.
Especially after so much time money and effort was invested in bitcoin.  Thankfully this will never happen.
We can't do anything but to follow the law, however bitcoin will not be ban if we continue to support it and minimize it's usage for illegal activities. And the government must see that it is widely use in good transaction for the benefit of all people not to hide the criminals transactions.
565  Economy / Services / Re: Komodo Signature and Avatar Campaign | Campaign has ended on: December 05, 2016, 01:12:08 AM
So it will take another 3 weeks to get bounty if you choose KMD.
With BTC is says as soon as possible. I think I'll take BTC now - buy BTCD, wait for snapshot and then swap since the exchange is like 1.5%.

It will probably take some time before KMD gets released + added to exchanges.

Hmm, maybe this is a good strategy to earn more...and faster... Roll Eyes
Still though you will get the BTC as soon as possible..., maybe the same time that you can get KMD...

Btw, i have already invest in KMD, so i will stick with them from the start. Smiley
Right now, there is no choice but to wait for the formal announcement of the Manager. As soon as possible seems like an early payment, but since no definite time, then we cannot expect until such time mentioned through formal announcement.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: December 05, 2016, 01:01:30 AM
That is why you can only win in the beginning i experience this too in some gambling site which is they let you win in the first time. since people who are gamble and win a small amount or win big they are still not satisfied they will greed to play and lose it all in the end..
The other strategy they are made is making a new account with different ip and address so that they can win in the first time and withdraw and make a new account again. because gambling can let you win in the first game play..
Your opinion you shared here is one massive conspiracy theory -  you think that casino owners can manipulate outcome of the games?
It would mean that gambling business is one big rigged lie. I can't imagine this to be true with provably fair system implemented.
It's possible for them to manipulate the outcome of the game since they control the system, however they are operating profitably already and there is not reason for them to do it, they have to protect their reputation otherwise they will stop their business in no time when caught by their loyal gamblers.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: December 05, 2016, 12:53:32 AM
I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on.

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.    Huh

where do you want to buy bitcoin? on vip.bitcoin.co.id? I also wanted to exchange some coins there, but they asked for my identity and photo. actually I am not comfortable with that too. but I think they should have a reason even more for asking those. if you do not want to give your personal information, you can buy bitcoin in some bitcoin users. I know someone who sells bitcoin.
Well, if you do not want to have a hard time in buying bitcoins you have to comply with the basic requirement of such exchange sites. I have an account in our local exchange and I understand that I need to comply as they are also required by the government to impose KYC or they might stop their operation.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 04, 2016, 10:57:43 PM
My picks tonight, with handicaps:
Orlando Magic @ Detroit Pistons - Detroit Pistons -7.5 @ 1.97
Sacramento Kings @ New York Knicks - New York Knicks -2.5 @ 1.99
Indiana Pacers @ Los Angeles Clippers - Indiana Pacers +12.5 @ 1.78
All look like trough games to predict. Especially the way the favorites are losing and even though they are playing at home.
The only sure one looks like the Clippers but having them lose by 12 points is showing just this of what I am saying.
If I were you, I would not say this as a sure one. NBA has always been unpredictable, and the last game between the two are pretty well dominated by the Pacers that is George-less. Now that PG is expected to play after a 3 games rest, it should be a close game if the Clippers win, so for me the plus points is money but I can't be too sure about it.
I wouldn't either. Los Angles is too strong right now but as you mentioned their last game was close.
So best not to bet on that game. It could be any one's game.
Look to the New York game instead with the Kings taking it as Carles has predicted this and he knows his Basketball very well.
I like the New York because they are underrated though they keep winning games especially at home. But look at the line, there's a big movement so it's sounds to fishy for me. If I could think of fading the public, it should be kings +1.5.
569  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 04, 2016, 12:43:34 PM
the answer is obvious , if u never got into the

property cycle or dont have the uber high paying

job or welfare Queen status with Gov supplied housing

or lastly deal drugs,

u would hate Fiat to the  core!

the endless print cycle is a joke  Cheesy

Well, I never got into those things which I could feel or hate fiat to the core.
What I hate is banking system that take your money and pressing you with debt with high interest rates, so stay away from owe money.
Fiat is neutral thing, it works as you want and still an official medium of exchange that could last for a long time.
Where did you get the idea that banks give the highest interest, I think it's pretty normal to a business to charge you interest when you borrow money because that is there business, they want to be profitable but I can say they are giving the lowest interest compared to other lending institution.
570  Economy / Economics / Re: what your plan for future ? and how to manage your time ? on: December 04, 2016, 12:31:02 PM
hello Im sure every one have "plan" for future
and please share what do you do to manage your time? to get your dream ?

i have dream to have 100BTC at 5year, but it's very hard to realize it

~Elyas772~

Sounds like a GREAT goal!

But just like your title says, what's your plan? How do you get there? If you plan it out it'll be a lot easier to realize what's possible.

So, 100 BTC in 5 years. That's 20 BTC per year. That's 1.66 BTC per month. Is that something you can do - make/earn/save 1.66 BTC per month? When you break it into a smaller number it becomes more manageable. It may be relatively easy to earn 1.66 BTC per month, perhaps the challenge is saving that much per month and for 60 months in row (5 years).

5 years is a long time to stick to something like this. Maybe you should try to front load your savings so that you get closer to that goal earlier on and have less pressure at the back end.
Nice calculated you've got here, it's seems more achievable but the problem is hold bitcoin for 60 months. We know a lot of incident/things that could happen whether good or bad for bitcoin and many people can't hold their self not to spend it or we might have something important to spend the savings.
Well, at least we could saving around BTC3-5 in a year for future purposes.
That's a good savings already, you must have a better plan on how to spend your investment or your profit from your investment in case you succeed. You cannot just rely with bitcoin, we need to learn how to diversify, it's still a risky investment so mastering the timing is necessary.
571  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: December 04, 2016, 12:26:57 PM
I'm going to say you'll need about 500 Bitcoins. Good Luck!

This is an acceptable quantity of bitcoins to make me call as millionaire with our local currency if the price will be as higher as $1,000. But I'm thinking for only 5 years, how I am going to collect as many bitcoin as this? I'm having trouble already for having 1 bitcoin, I can't even attain to collect a lot of it for just a month.
It's acceptable but would it be realistic enough for someone to achieve that big amount, I guess with that big amount of bitcoins to be achieve we have to work hard. We are free to wish but without an action we cannot reach to the level we are wishing. I don't think we can have that by working only, we need to risk money to make that amount of money.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: December 04, 2016, 07:12:18 AM
If the dollar crashes btc will be king and we'll all be wealthy beyond our wildest dreams.
I don't if that will exactly what will happen, but I am positive that the adopters of bitcoin will increase since people will move their money with bitcoin that would result to possible increase of it's value.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 04, 2016, 07:05:24 AM
I just read that Russia just made bitcoin legal. Probably because they could not stop it and so that they can tax it. Ha ha. This is a good trend. Wonder what they are going to do now about the trend to anonymous.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know about that! Yes, it might become popular, but there's no way they can tax it unless they know what wallet we've got. For example they would never find out how much I earned if I sent my income to a different wallet than the one I told them. I think it's just a test to check out what people would do with it, and then the same idea but made by the governments will be implemented into different countries.
The reason why I use bitcoin is because it's tax free though I need to fee for the mining fees in transaction and any related fees when in exchange site, the moment it will be tax, I don't know if I still have the same interest like I feel now, and people as well, they might change on how they look bitcoin.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: December 04, 2016, 07:03:01 AM
My goverment forbid bitcoin usage because it can be use for money laundry  ( advantage for terorism activity )
So it has small chance for my goverment for bitcoin usage as the result bitcoin popularity can't grow like EU zone
I think only a few politicians in a country know about bitcoin, I think even though they knew about bitcoin, they certainly will not take the risk to launder millions of dollars in bitcoin because it is very risky
One thing I want to clear you that bitcoin is not risky, and I think no one know that who is using bitcoin and who is not using it, as bitcoin is anonymous, maybe more politicians use bitcoin but we do not know about them. But at the end, they are contributing to a new technology which might help a common citizen with bitcoin's investment characteristics.
The thing is it's not safe either, maybe our definition about safe and risky differs because we are making decision base on how valuable bitcoin to us. But I would stand with my opinion that bitcoin is risky as for me it's more on an investment than an online currency.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: December 04, 2016, 06:52:31 AM
According to the article, the CEO said that " but I think bitcoin could surpass the dollar as reserve currency within 10-15 years." Bitcoin will surpass it's use against the dollar. It will be great if the majority of the people around the world use Bitcoin. If that happens, I think that will be the start of the  ruling of Bitcoin. The wallet will be a reserve, instead of having banks to be used for storing your money.

Then at that time in the future, Bitcoin has surpassed the dollar.

That is too optimistic. It will be unlikely the majority of the people around the world use Bitcoin.

Bitcoin could do it within 10-15 years, adopted by majority of the people and no need apocalypse scenario due to people should notice existence of bitcoin as worldwide currency which has many advantages and highest exchange rate. Surpass maybe but  I don't think bitcoin will replace dollar as it a state currency and consider as international most acceptable too, bitcoin may get along others currencies.
Nah, I don't see it's going to happen, I think it's better to have bitcoin and fiat or dollar work together to give us convenience for the users, but if you will push what your prediction int he future, I do not see it is happening, dollar is too powerful.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: December 04, 2016, 06:46:51 AM
In my experience bitcoin transaction is very fast, quick and easy to used, i do not even encounter delay in my transaction like sending bitcoin to my friends, cashing out or paying my bills.
i agree with you that bitcoin transaction is very much faster and i also never faced any problem when i use bitcoin for any transaction and i also use bitcoin than other currency or than other service of payment because bitcoin is the fastest much more .
You both very lucky sir because I experience the transaction very slow like in just few days I recieved Bitcoin it takes 12-24 hrs to confirmed. Because no miner fee because my wallet that I used no miner fee if you send Bitcoin. What if I need my Bitcoin what if I need to cashout my Bitcoin. I hope in the next days I will experience Bitcoin transaction very fast. I think also why transaction is faster or slow because of the amount of bitcoin you send and recieve. If the high bitcoin it takes long to confirm while if the low bitcoin it takes 30minutes to 3hrs only.
I think most of us experience a slow transaction especially if we are active with online transaction, but honestly I understand what is happening and I was not upset with it. The fact that we can transact safe and enjoy the low transaction charge, it will erase the weakness of bitcoin.
577  Economy / Services / Re: Komodo Signature and Avatar Campaign | Campaign has ended on: December 04, 2016, 06:36:59 AM
It looks like someone have very big fantasy to run signature campaign with so many users, without any experience!
I look forward to the results - tomorrow Bitcoin pay day! Smiley
Where did you get that news that tomorrow will be the payday? Any source?...

I'm just taking planned date:

Yes, the plan was to get this thing done after 2 weeks, which would mean next Sunday December 4th.

Let see what gonna happen after this date.. normally you should to expect next delay Wink
Thanks for that information buddy. However, even if today is btc payday the op/manager of this campaign didnot added any such of increase in payment of those who got upranking before the campaign come to an end.
That's another issue and should be solve in a separate manner, the moment the payment will be ruled out to the members problem about ranking will be easy to figure out.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: December 04, 2016, 06:34:36 AM
I bought one coins cause of halving, but nowdyas when price is almost $550 it's not so profitalbe so i am just wating for halving with my coins to sell.
I think your making a good profit right now Smiley good luck to you and coins is still growing up if you are going to sell your coins it's time the price is quite big and you made 200$ without doing nothing just waiting or trade it into more profitable thin in exchange website.
He bought bitcoins back June this year so probably if he was not tempted to sell he can make a good profit with the year end. You are right that you do not need to do exert much effort to have that price as just by holding alone it can already give you a good profit in the long run.
579  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: December 04, 2016, 05:36:07 AM
Bitcoin can be used anywhere in the world, but I think this is not yet the time to say that Bitcoin is a global currency. The vast majority of people on the planet don't know what Bitcoin is and what is the use of it. The upside is that the number of people interested in learning about it increases significantly, today there is a much larger community compared to a few years ago.
If we want to see bitcoin as global currency that regulated by every government in the world, we have to waiting for atleast a few decade. Becouse it is not easy business to make really big change in worlds payment system. Every prople in the worls must be know about bitcoin, how it is work and how to use it. But I am really sure that all people will not find any difficulty to learn about bitcoin.
We do not need because it's not gonna happen, bitcoin will destroy the system of the government from centralized to decentralized. You have no idea what will be the effect if that happens, I can see there will be a big chaos as no one will control us already and there's no restriction as complete freedom is what we have.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin help your life in daily needs? on: December 04, 2016, 05:24:54 AM
of course, I even used bitcoin to pay for my college tuition. well, probably the result of my income with bitcoin is not so much, but it really helped me in my life to meet the needs of everyday. Well, I just hope that I can make bitcoin be more, because bitcoin might help me to buy a house for the future

wow, that is great. I am also a college student. I am earning bitcoin to help me to fulfill my daily life because I am living far away from my family to study in a college. for now, I have some books I bought by bitcoin, but I should convert it to fiat first. at least it helps some needs to be fulfilled.
This is a big help from bitcoin because you can study and pay for your tuition for your collage honestly i am not young to study right now and i want to study in collage but i have already done vocational and using it right now in business.  bitcoin is one of the part of my life right now and honestly it helps me a lot..  and i bought some tools using bitcoin that it helps a lot in my business..
You guys are really lucky you can work for bitcoin and if you will just continue to pursue your dream no surprise bitcoin can help you to do that. Effort is very important and you must work smart here and do not limit only to micro earning opportunity, you can grow here like what bitcoin has done.
