561  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: July 08, 2017, 02:30:43 PM
Yes of course it is the science and skill, because if it's just relying on luck, then certainly speculation and erratic earnings, the best strategy is need experience such as trading.

I agree that experience is needed to have the best strategy. Because you'll know the scenarios and whats possible going to happen on your journey to trading. Just always believe in yourself and you will be fine. The best strategy is in you, we have our unique ways in trading.
that is right and in addition the patience in trading is the key to have a big profit because as you can see the bitcoin is started with very low price and that is below 1 usd so buy just holding it until now you will have x2400 or something the money that you invested so it is good to have a long patience in trading.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 08, 2017, 02:26:00 PM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?
Precisely, The bitcoin now is you can use everywhere and anywhere but first make sure you will exchange it to money saying that you can use to buy using bitcoin is not real deal but if you will exchange it you can buy more stuff so in my opinion yeah, bitcoin is the new era of currency and many countries now are starting to adopt it.
563  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: July 08, 2017, 12:43:53 AM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?
Of course the USD is more popular with bitcoin because the bitcoin is just created in 2009 so in my opinion the USD will be always more popular because all the people now it because it is a paper money and bitcoin cannot surpass the fiat with popularity because that is the medium of exchange in the real world.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: July 08, 2017, 12:34:10 AM
Giving up in gambling is not easy but you can gave it up but removing your time part by part don't stop in a single drop but you will stop by removing your time in gambling day by day because in every addiction that is the solution so I will suggest that start removing your gambling time day by day.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 08, 2017, 12:25:29 AM
Dear Pillar project supporters,

The last 48 hours we have been flooded with requests for our presale, far beyond our initial 12-million-token allocation. We have had thousands of requests. We are so sorry we can no longer reply individually any more, but we love your enthusiasm for our project. Here's what you need to know:

As a tribute to Joe (JSnip4) and his amazing followers on YouTube, we're going to allocate another 32 million tokens to the presale. This removes about $3.2 million from the main sale and puts it into the presale for people who are reading this. Any tokens remaining after the presale will be returned to the main sale.

We did this primarily to honor those enthusiastic supporters of the Pillar project who have expressed their interest and support. Many have pledged only small amounts of ether, and we felt these people deserved to get their tokens - they are the ones we want most. Here's how to participate: contact info@pillarproject.io
This is good. and I will participate with this project I hope the discount for the early investors are big. And I think the coin that will be produce will be good for long term and with that I think after that it will be available for the market the price will be above the ICO price since this is a good project.
566  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 03, 2017, 01:30:25 PM
For me in some times I will go for cold storage if I dedicated that coin will be in long term investment because in that way my coin will be for long term so I need to convince myself not to sell that coin because that will be a problem and it will be regret for me if the coin price multiply.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Resurrection of Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 03, 2017, 01:25:02 PM
I know (and can convince myself) that reappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto or disclosure of his identity will be when and exactly when 1 satoshi=1 dollar cent.
The anonymous image of Satoshi Nakamoto is just for his privacy because that will make him free for the crowd attention because we all know that the bitcoin is decentralized so that person will be in big trouble and legalities problem if the government will know his identity.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 03, 2017, 01:19:35 PM
This is probably the fastest ICO project since it only takes 60 hours to complete the sale of tokens. I think investors certainly can not ignore this good opportunity because this is a very good ICO project and I hope to be able to buy a Token.

I agree, after reading his white paper, all been prepared for many years ago.
Maybe on that basis, they are confident with the short sale time it will all be sold out.
That is correct years of preparation is good in terms of ICO because that time will make more investors be attracted in this project furthermore the project have a good intention and have a promising project in the investors so I thing the 60hr ICO will not be a big deal to the team because of the years of preparation in this ICO
569  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: June 26, 2017, 12:55:36 AM
Many posts discuss the possibility of exchange earnings with selling Bitcoin (and buy later). Other posts discuss the Bitcoin exchange rate, it seems that many agree there is a strong upward tendency and the volatility is hard to predict. It seems dat selling Bitcoin results in a serious probability of an opportunity loss. Selling Bitcoin can only be motivated by an (partial) exit. Do you agree?
Bitcoin holding is a very great deal but I think the selling of it will not be a opportunity loss if you need some of it because the bitcoin is always going up so selling a specific amount is not a big deal just don't go sell it all in because that will be the loss of your earning. Just remember the long term holding of bitcoin is the real deal all the time.
570  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best short-term investment you have ever made? on: June 26, 2017, 12:48:53 AM
Mine is in Etherum coin because way back April I invested 5 Etherum and hold it and after that the etherum reach the 400$ market cap so In that time I sell all my Etherum and I am waiting for it to dump again and I will buy again Etherum hope it will works again.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: June 26, 2017, 12:41:54 AM
I honestly think Bitcoin isn't decentralized enough considering that government still controls the Internet and can easily censor or shut them down (is this even possible?) anytime.
The move by government to make us go cashless by gradually phasing out cash is even more worrisome, could make them have absolute control over us.
We need some sort of decentralized "physical Bitcoin" that doesn't depend on the Internet and can be exchanged for online Bitcoin.  It is too risky not to have offline alternatives to Bitcoin to act as backup plan for online Bitcoin in case something big goes wrong.

Pls I need to know something,  Is it possible to exchange Bitcoin with other people without being connected to the Internet?
Let say the government bans the Internet and you have your Bitcoin offline(in cold storage right?), can you exchange the Bitcoin to the next person by simply transferring some Bitcoin from cold storage to his/her computer, phone or even data storage devices(like SD Card, USB, Hard drive etc)?
If this is possible then no need for the "Physical Bitcoin"

If government will shutdown the internet bitcoin will also shutdown because in able to use bitcoin we are to be needing an internet connection so if internet is not available bitcoin will alao not be available.
That is impossible because the internet now is a way of connecting and communicating people around the world so in my opinion Is government shutdown the internet many people are going to complain about it and many companies too so I think that is impossible because the internet now are very important to each individual.
572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: June 26, 2017, 12:35:49 AM
I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.
I am so irritated with it people always sayas that bitcoin will die or dead it's sucks but then they are keep using the bitcoin in their transactions. Many people are like that but then bitcoin have a big whales that supporting it so I think bitcoin will always going to pump, Because the bitcoin as time pass by there are many investors that are investing into it.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only? on: June 26, 2017, 12:31:46 AM
Usually i am transfering in LTC and Dash to exchange to fiat, cost less and is much faster, waiting houres for btc confirmation is to much for me.Fee and speed is btc problem and it has to be solved

Its so unfortunate that things have to degenerate to this point that everyone is now looking for alternatives in carrying out transactions which should not be so for any reason. However, I still believe is not for the rich alone because there is a unit for everyone depending on what you can afford and when there is increase in price, it affects everybody the same thing with when there is a fall in the price of bitcoin as well. Hopefully, this can be sorted out  by the acclaimed August 1.
Today Bitcoin is uniquely used by everyone and one must understand that everyone uses crypto currency in their conviction and need. First of all the rich due to Bitcoin hide their fortunes from taxation. Therefore, they buy the lion's share of these coins. We understand that the amount of Bitcoin is limited and a limited number goes into the hands of ordinary users.
i am hopeful that even in future it will be use by everyone, even though the price of bitcoin increase too much. then they will trade bitcoin in satoshi and even invested in satoshi they will get a good profit. but it is for sure that bitcoin will be use both for rich and poor people, because bitcoin is the currency of all the people and not belong some group of people.
Bitcoin need a gadget and internet so poor people or the bottom rock of our society cannot use bitcoin so I think the fiat is the best for them. But in terms of using alternative currency to lessen the fee and the transaction time is a smart move. I think many people are using that now because the bitcoin transactions take so long to confirmed.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: June 26, 2017, 12:26:58 AM
Print multiple copies of paper wallets each 1 or 5 BTC and diversify them between places. Also put half of them also in the bank deposit.
So far this is the best answer that I read, because of the splitting losing it all at once will be lessen because the funds is splitted into different cold storage so in my opinion it is good if you are holding your bitcoin into paper wallet because the hacking possibility will go down to zero so there's no entrance for hackers and that is the safest wallet of all time. Just don't lose the private key.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: June 26, 2017, 12:24:25 AM
The only thing I can think that some people will say is transaction times. It's not so fast they think but a bank transfer takes longer. People want to swipe to pay. Can Bitcoin be used like a debit card for doing that is the question ? Also you can say right now you can't soent it everywhere. That is clear to us all for now. In the future more places will accept bitcoins.
That is the point why people are go with the bitcoin because of the less hassle transactions but years passed the transaction time take so long to be confirmed and for now on that is the major problem of the bitcoin the transatioc traffic because of that many of the people are switching coin which is not good for the bitcoin.l
576  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: June 25, 2017, 02:19:52 AM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.
There is no secret. It's not hard to do when you have a decent money to make profit. In order to do that, you must be skilled and you have a discipline. There are many ways to get that amount of profit per week such as trading, investing, and gambling. The best and easiest to do is trading.
Thats right the best to earn 0.1 bitcoin a week is tradingmost of the people here earn more than 0.1 bitcoin a week buy buying altcoin. But you need this , time , a lot of resesrch, hardwork , and skills and a lot of knowledge and ofcoarse a good capital .
Yes it needs those things but the sure thing is, it is very worth it to have those things in yourself because not only in trading but also in other sources of income, you can apply those things to have more capability to earn more money. 0.1 bitcoin per week is just a small number for a good trader of altcoin in my opinion because they can earn that in just a day or few days.
Indeed, altcoin trading is have a risk only and the worst is you can lose almost all of your money so I think investing in bitcoin is good if it is long term but the trading have a risk so you need a great experience and a great trading strategy for you not to lose in the trading. .1 is possible in trading if your capital is big.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: June 25, 2017, 02:15:06 AM
The most valuable currency but in term of the most strongest rather powerful I think I will go for the fiat because the fiat is the medium of the currency of all over the world and I think no other currency can replace the fiat because all of the people can use that currency the fiat.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 25, 2017, 02:11:05 AM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?
Many news now are introducing bitcoin so in my opinion of course they are invested into it because bitcoin nowadays are pretty popular so I think the big time people are the major holders of the bitcoin because they are the only one who can buy a big volume of the bitcoin.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still faster than Paypal. on: June 25, 2017, 01:56:26 AM
These are two different concepts for comparison, but PayPal makes payments faster than bitcoin. But bitcoin is a currency with which you can earn.
I am pretty sure that it doesn't matter if people send or receive payments with Bitcoin, the speed of their transactions are pretty much instant compared to most banking companies. PayPal has a higher chance for money loss since the people in PayPal like to rip their customers off even if they are in the right.

Paypal is the not best good or better than bitcoin according to me. Since the time and cost of the transaction btc is top. Other than that I have heard that paypal has been involved many email scam attempts.
Bitcoin or any blockchain technology does not involved in scam, only people do btc related business only scam us.

You're accusing paypal of being involved in email scam attempts?

Enlighten me, how will that work?
They will trick you to give them your paypal password? This is hilarious.

Let's be honest a bit here.
If we count how many paypal users are there and how many bitcoiners and we compare the amount of scams involving the two..ouch.
Or if we compare the number of successful attempts to get your money back...oh wait , in bitcoinland it does not happen.

But again you're comparing a currency with a payment method.
Compare paypal with bitpay.

Your arguments are extremely one-sided.

Let me say something then: The amount of people who got scammed by paypal chargebacks, and compare that figure to the amount of bitcoin chargebacks or doublespends.

OH wait, in bitcoinland there are no doublespends/chargebacks after 6 confirmations. That's 60 minutes. Let's look at paypal then, you have to wait 180 days. You might say, fair enough, that should be the warranty period... But wait, there are people that have been charged dback after YEARS, because whether paypal can be charged back depends on the credit card company, and credit card companies often side with the buyer.

As a seller online, do you really want to get into this? Prolly not.
Well said, Me too I have experience in the paypal that my account has been lock and it's have almost 400$ but unfortunately that time I am just an under age so no proof of billing and after a year my money has been gone when I have the requirements I am not underage in that year.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2017, 01:51:21 AM
Holding bitcoin Was really a good thing to do. And obviously, Almost all member or majority of the bitcoin enthusiast here in this industry are  dreaming to hold bitcoin in a long terms.
exactly almost all including me, But for know I am holding a lot in the altcoin because I think that coins have a future maybe it will double or triple the price of it so I think for now holding altcoin for a long time is the very efficient to invest too. But some of my money is in the bitcoin too.
