Ja, das klingt etwas absurd. Welches Problem willst du denn eigentlich lösen? Ich kann mir im Moment keine sinnvolle Anwendung vorstellen. Windows und Batchprogramme im Dauerbetrieb klingt auch nicht unbedingt nach einer zuverlässigen Lösung.  |

Du kannst ihm auch 0.012 Bitcoin an seine Adresse schicken, damit ist auch klar, daß du deine Adresse kontrollierst.
Aber hat er dir wirklich eine von seinen Adressen mitgeteilt? Dafür kann Signieren auch verwendet werden. Und dann geht es nicht einfacher, wenn er mittellos ist.

Manchmal merkt bitcoin-qt, daß die Blockchain aktueller als die Wallet ist, manchmal aber auch nicht.
Du kannst ja mal versuchen einen "rescan" anzuweisen.
Dazu bitcoin-qt mit rescan starten.
Entweder über die Kommandozeile ( -rescan ) oder die bitcoin.conf-Datei (rescan=1).

Ich kenne Bitcoin, habe aber keine Ahnung was re:publica ist, auch wenn im U-Bahn-Fernsehen ständig überlange Filmchen dazu nervten.
Alte Hüte wie TOR, etc. waren auch nicht dazu angetan mein Interesse zu wecken.
Warum sollten wir unsere Zeit mit ein paar Hanseln vergeuden, die auf altbackenen Themen rumreiten, wenn das Ziel die breite Masse ist?

I have a complete backup of my computer and I had also exported the private keys for all my MultiBit wallets as soon as I created them. So my private keys wouldn't be missing even in a case of vanishing wallets. I upgraded from 0.5.17 to 0.5.18 without any problem though. |

But it could take a while - scaling up manufacturing always takes a while with these kinds of projects.
Well, they said that they could do this scaling up from July to October 2013. We have now an additional 6 month. That's 200% additional scaling up time. And still nothing.  |

If you use
File -> Open Wallet
to open the recovered wallet, you should have at least two wallets in MultiBit. You change the current wallet by selecting one in the list.
On the request tab you see the addresses in that wallet. You can compare and see if they are different or not. You can check the balance on that addresses with blockchain.info or blockr.io.
To copy the private keys just use
Tools -> Export Private Keys
with your recovered wallet selected.
And use
Tools -> Import Private Keys
with your current default wallet selected then.
Use
Tools -> Export Private Keys
with your current default wallet then to create an up-to-date backup of that wallet.
You may have to use
Tools -> Reset Blockchain and Transactions
to get the correct balance for your current default wallet.

The receiving side of a transaction can't to anything about that transaction. The receiving side could be offline or even a paper wallet. How should a paper wallet generate a "change" address?
That is not possible. This is not how bitcoin works. This has nothing to do at all with MultiBit.
If you are really supposed to get 0.01727485 BTC and the sender only sends 0.00095527 BTC to your address 16PQX51cPj9ACvtzPuj9mU4zTXSM3wU3Tz then the sender is very confused to say the least.
You have to talk with the sender about this.
Nobody else is claiming that they should receive all the outputs of a transaction. That's only you.
You should change the topic title, apologize sincerely to the MultiBit developers and send a substantial donation to the MultiBit donation address from your 16PQX51cPj9ACvtzPuj9mU4zTXSM3wU3Tz address.

How did you get that idea? I just created a new wallet with 0.5.17 I exported the private key for the one adress MultiBit created automatically for the new wallet. I sent 1.0002 BTC to that address. From that wallet I sent 0.5 BTC to the MultiBit donation address. https://blockchain.info/tx/ccd05c59a47743277260e0e92c1584f24898d35e345891f82e60c179a2db2ce8As you can see the change was sent back to the originating address. Needing only one initial backup for the one address that is always reused again is my main use case for MultiBit. @RoxxR: I have never seen MultiBit create a change address. As long as the OP is using this confusing statement and as long as he is not able to give a step-by-step instruction on how to reproduce the problem nobody will be able to help him. |

Aber dann hast ja erst mal nur noch unbestätigtes Wechselgeld in der Wallet. Wenn oft gesendet werden soll, könnte das Probleme machen.
Du läßt nichts für die Fee übrig. Bei vielen kleinen Inputs kann die ja schon mal etwas höher sein. Man könnte aber solange zusätzliche 0,1mBTC abziehen bis es klappt.
Wenn es funktioniert ist die Anzahl der Adressen im Adresspool unwichtig, da ja nie eine neue Wechselgeldadresse benötigt wird.
Der Adresspool wird auch bei jeder Entnahme neu aufgefüllt. Ein regelmäßiges Backup der Wallet hilft also wirklich, da immer die zukünftigen n Adressen mit enthalten sind.

Ich kenne nur Alternativen:
Du kannst die Größe des Addresspools anpassen. Statt der Standardeinstellung 100 z.B. 1000.
Oder mit dem Kommando backupwallet automatisiert Backups machen lassen.

Natuerlich gibt es hier Unterschiede.
z.B die Nizza Klassen oder eine Kombi aus Wort & Bildmarke. Du meinst, wenn die Nichtigkeit für T-Shirts festgestellt wurde ist eine Eintragung für Kaffetassen problemlos möglich? Hast du da mal ein Beispiel? Und sollten sich der Rechteinhaber nicht mit dem wiedersprecher einigen wird es vor Gericht geklaert wo den auch sonst?
Warum sollte sich da wer einigen? Schwarze Koffer, oder was? Welches Gericht wäre denn für "Löschungsverfahren vor dem DPMA" zuständig? Ein DPMA internes? |

Ein Löschungsverfahren vor dem DPMA hat aber nichts mit Gericht zu tun, oder? Wahrscheinlich sollte man aber einen Anwalt dabei haben. Wenn einmal die Nichtigkeit festgestellt wurde, sollte doch die Bearbeitung zukünftiger Anträge klar sein. Oder gibt es da Gegenbeispiele? Ich meine jetzt das reine schlichte "Bitcoin", nicht irgendwelche Wortkombinationen. |
