561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I choose Bitcoin on: October 08, 2023, 05:28:39 PM
If you were in the position to give financial advice to someone looking for a long term financial investment, what would you advice?...
It reminds me of the first month of the year, when a close friend was investing in a financial tool that offers 8% annually, i talked with him and told him to take out that money and better invest in Bitcoin, he decided to do it and buy them when the price was $16k... as you can see the year isn't over yet and he is close to double the investment. It was a risky move, we all know the volatility can be dangerous. But my friend is happy riding this wave, he feels like it was the best decision ever in his life.
8 percent fix annually? I think that was tiny but maybe it is only stable or safe. Glad that your friend didn't think twice to transfer in BTC despite of its higher risk but at the same time the profit that we can get here can also sky rocket more than what other financial instruments are offering.

You or your friend are also in the right timing because $16k seems to be the floor price that BTC has this bear and as we can see the price only rise and never go below it. Who wouldn't be happy by that? Not only him but I know, you are also happy about your friend and happy about your self thinking that you help someone to make a better decision.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2023/2024 on: October 08, 2023, 09:29:39 AM
Leicester and Ipswich want daylight between them and playoff spots, so I think a win is "safe". Good luck!
All of them won their matches except Southampton, they are not so reliable and Armstrong is making big difference for them this season but that is not enough.
Leicester won first half and whole match easily and they are firmly in first place with only six conceded goals from eleven matches.
Ipswich is biggest surprise for me this season, they are just below Leicester in second place and they are destroying everyone like in video game Smiley
Judging by Leicester City's performance since the start of the season, I'll be very surprised not to see them win the EFL championship this season. Out of the 11 league games they've played so far this season, Leicester has won am impressive  10. Ipswich also has been very impressive this season as they're just two points behind
EFL League leaders leaders Leicester. It's still very early to predict who wins the EFL championship but I think Leicester City are gonna get promoted to the English Premier League next season.
After losing against Hull now things are going well on target for the staying at the top of the league table with their attack and defence both are having impressive work and not allowing their opponents for having anything positive from them winning 10 games out of the 11 is impressive run and their all quality players are still hanging around for their back into Premier League in next season right now they are having challenge from the Ipswich which is at the second spot and having just 2 points difference but most chances no team will be challenge them for staying at this spot until end of this season.

Most chances if they have no injury then surely they could be not gone down because consistency is giving them good reward, and they can go through without any trouble with now Swansea is their next challenge after the break.
563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Next-GenTrading Platforms: The Ultimate of DEX and CEX on: October 07, 2023, 08:08:11 PM
The user can benefit from the advantages of both and reduce the disadvantages according to his knowledge of trading and the amount of data that he would like to provide, as he should try to reduce this data to the minimum possible.
You can use CEX when you want to withdraw quickly and with high liquidity, with features such as speed of trading, executing orders, and obtaining a fair price in trading, while DEX is good when you are not in a hurry to buy, sell, or transfer cash. CEX can be used as it does not require identity verification, or at least it is tolerant and has good withdrawal limits.
If they have tried both individually and don't mind having the features being combined, yeah but for those who only prefer one model, maybe they will not use this platform. For them to reduce a disadvantage of a platform, they can improve their services more.

It's important so that they can retain their consumers, as there are lots of new crypto exchanges coming out. Many of them offers something revolutionary because this is the only way for them to get noticed by the public. A centralized exchange may have a high liquidity but when it comes to withdrawals, there can be delays because it will still be audited if there are no frauds going on.
564  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin October Month Performance on: October 07, 2023, 07:04:40 PM

What do you think?
How much will Bitcoin pump this October? 👀
I am one of those who believe Bitcoin will experience a change in good direction in October.
The average percentage return in October this year will probably reach above 7% because the average percentage return in October 2022 is only 5.53%. I can't show you the table but I've seen it.
If the first week closes at $28,000, at least I'm waiting for the latest support price in the second week.

Edit to add: Constantly thinking about signals and figuring them out is not good for health because those who believe in Bitcoin's positive movement are working on other jobs that bring in extra income.
So you think the price should always improve year after year? There might be new people who adopt BTC and other positive happenings but negative things are still bound to happen which can also affect the price in the same vibe. Don't be sad just yet because what you and others are saying about an increase can still come true because last year was only a bear season and sometimes after it, is a bull season.

In your addition, I think the ones who does that are the active traders, and it does not mean that they are neglecting their health anymore. They do believe in BTC or they are positive about it. It's just that they make trading as their main source of income.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: October 07, 2023, 04:09:05 PM
The bull and bear market in the Bitcoin market is not a big surprise, but when it's reached its bottom every time, the anxiety of investors will always increase. But after all these years of experience in trading, influencers advice is really helpful to overcome this phase of losing hope. The growth of the market is incredible, and it gradually increases our hope. But as crypto traders, we have to face this situation every now and then because we know the market is very volatile. This situation shows us how people are truly trusting this market and making profits.
Why rely on influencers or anyone else when you can read the historical charts and motivate yourself? Don't you think that a newbie would get highly motivated if they have invested in Bitcoin and you show them the chart where they see that it has once touched $64? Believe me, they would be delighted because they must have been thinking that Bitcoin is extremely down and it might not go up anymore from this point onwards which isn't true.

So, both a bull run and a bear run would actually be a surprise for such users, and these are also the investors who would panic sell as soon as they see Bitcoin losing $2k in value because they will start thinking that the market is crashing when we experienced traders start becoming happy for getting better prices.
566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what are we expecting for the rest of 2023? on: October 06, 2023, 06:26:44 PM
I prefer bitcoin to keep falling rather than rising because this is a war, falling prices will make many people give up and dump their bitcoins, and it's also a golden time for us to accumulate cheap bitcoins. It may sound harsh or too cruel, but we should not deny that this is a market with winners and losers. And if we want to win, we need to let others lose.
Regarding the price prediction for this year, I still believe that history will repeat itself, there will be a serious dumping before the halving takes place.
I don't think this will happen, it's normal to take profits if Bitcoin reaches 40k later this year and if holders starts to sell it means they are not real holders, they are still the same set of people that need to be flushed out of crypto space.

Right now Bitcoin looks oversold to me, maybe my chart reading is wrong but this is what I am seeing, nothing great is going to happen after the halving, so there is still time, Bitcoin can reach 30 to 40k this year and still retrace in 1st quarter of 2024, but do not expect any lower price.

Many people will end up with dollars they can't use to buy Bitcoin because their expectation is 10k per Bitcoin, they will end up rushing back into the market when the price starts surging already.
Expecting the price to go to $10k when it has already been to $15k last year is unrealistic in my opinion. I mean, we were around there last year and the price that we see right now or have been seeing for the months that have passed is a result of the recovery process from that drop, that's why, we shouldn't be expecting the price to go back to $10k and keep waiting instead of buying when the time is still right because the market can start going up any time.

If investors are feeling confused about whether they should buy right now or wait more, they should simply start doing DCA instead of buying with all the money they have at once, with the DCA method, they can buy some right now and then wait to see if the market dips further or starts moving up.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop discouraging Newbies from Bitcoin... on: October 06, 2023, 06:16:10 AM
Bitcoin trading is not for beginners, at least for people who don't know much about market analysis so they can enter the market on time.
You shouldn't say it's not for newbies, but you should only say that it's not for those who lack the necessary knowledge and information about trading and the market because even if someone is a beginner but has learned everything, they can trade effectively.

Most people follow the signals they get from trading groups on Telegram or WhatsApp so they don't learn anything and just hope to profit from those signals.
And that's what we don't recommend because by relying on signals from other people, they don't learn anything and won't be able to make a profit.
I agree with this point and most newbies do that because they feel they will lose their money if they trade themselves because they lack knowledge, however, this is a mistake and they should rather learn everything themselves instead of following those signal groups.

We don't want them to trade because they get signals. After all, that doesn't educate someone to be able to develop and have the ability to analyze market conditions.
It's true that people who follow signals become in habit of doing that and then they completely lose interest in learning the skills and techniques themselves so that they can do their trades without being dependent on someone else.
568  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 05, 2023, 08:56:31 PM
If he don't know if there's something like that happening maybe he should clarify it to them so he can justify for his self on why this casino taken out his opportunity to get a bonus from them. Its hard if this happen to anyone especially if you are legitimately playing using your own hard earned money. If that incident will happen to me I guess its better to go out on that casino since who knows they would provably put more heavier claims and stuck up our balance if they casino representative see him continuously winning. Maybe OP is playing on unreputable casino that's why they are just quick for deciding to take out what I maybe think OP deserve especially if he's spending a lot of money on the casino he plays.
When a gambler is winning constantly without having a single loss, the casino doesn't ask them for any proof or give them a chance to justify their actions or anything, they simply go ahead and restrict them in some way and then investigate their bets and the account and most probably not let then play more or even if they allow them, they will put some restrictions like a smaller bet size or something so that they can't keep winning large amounts of money.

In OP's case, it's just the bonuses that they've removed because he must have won a lot of money using the bonuses, but I wonder how because when a casino gives you a bonus, they ask you to complete a very large wagering requirement which is very difficult to be completed with the bonus or bonus and deposit combined.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 04, 2023, 07:26:42 PM
I still remember all the drama that happened during the final (England vs New Zealand) match of the 2019 World Cup, at Lord's. England virtually stole the match with the help of umpire Kumar Dharmasena. There was a throw from the fielder, which got deflected by the bat of Ben Stokes and went for boundary. England broke every cricketing rule and Dharmasena supported them. Being a gentleman, Kane Williamson refused to complain and stood there silently. Unfortunately the England captain (Eoin Morgan) behaved shamelessly and never acknowledged the contribution of the umpire in his team's win.

I'll never forget those messed up memories. Umpiring was ridiculous while the ICC rules were even more ridiculous. Those fools ended up getting rid of the boundary rule thanks to all the negative criticism.

England knows damn well that they won the cup thanks to luck alone though that controversy helped make the match the craziest big tournament final to date.
No one can forget things like these because we have few really sad things related to these like England won soccer world cup and this was one of the most controversial final in soccer world cup history and then England having first ODI World Cup and this was also one of the most controversial final in ODI World Cup history even mostly we have English media crying about spirit of the game and Cricket is game of the Gentlemen, but they are having all problems under their belt.

Hopefully now in tomorrow game we will have good fight from the Kiwis which was clearly winner, but wrong decisions keep them waiting for their first big win in Cricket with recent fight in ODI series things are looking impressive and tomorrow match could be entertaining for cricket fans as well.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 04, 2023, 04:53:01 PM
This season is going to be one of the worst for Chelsea. This season Chelsea failed to qualify for the Champions League and they also failed to qualify for the Europa League. The way they are performing in the Premier League, they can't even be in the top ten in the Premier League points table, and in that case, they have less chance to participate in any good tournament in the next season, so a good quality striker at the moment will definitely not want to come to this club in exchange for money.

Victor Osimhen is a talented player and currently plays for Italian club Napoli, played in the quarter finals of the Champions League last season and has the potential to do well this season so the star is unlikely to leave his current club and join Chelsea at the moment.
No doubt Chelsea was having the worst time in 2022/23, and now they are doing their best for having improved performance in this season even their start is not ideal because they are having just eight points from the seven games and two win which are below then average but now win against Fulham on road can bring changes into their performance and fortune this is surely important now they are going to visit Burnley which also having first win against Luton and now having good confidence for facing Chelsea but if they are able to win here then surely we can expect good changes in coming days and this could be good for the Victor Osimhen as well which is looking for play here in this team with Champions League or UEFA Europa Cup is also important for him.
571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Share your opinion on the market. on: October 03, 2023, 01:29:55 PM
Especially with today's price chart situation, I am starting to be optimistic that the history of Bitcoin prices in October will be positive, which is different from the chart display last month.
Even though I speculated that this month I still needed extra energy to hold, I didn't change that statement before the bitcoin price broke a new high.
However, starting with the bitcoin market price from October 1 until now, I have started to feel a positive trend.
$26,970 opened and is now sitting at $28,078.

When $28k starts to hold until the close of the first week of October, we will be prepared to see higher prices as $28k will be a good support price.
Hold is still required.
Prices can still change at any time - but your optimism about October is certainly justified by the analysis of other users before you. October is a good month to expect price recovery - that has been proven by the break of $28k resistance in the last 24 hours. The problem is whether $28k can last longer or maybe it is only temporary before panic among traders occurs.

I'm not talking about market sentiment - but bitcoin should be more able to appreciate October to recover. Don't know what could push $30k resistance through now - but if $28k becomes strong support then $30k can be expected to break.
I was expecting that maybe the price would at least go over $29k but unfortunately, it started dropping back after reaching $28,580 and has already dropped below $27k which means that $28k isn't support but is becoming the resistance now and Bitcoin is having a hard time going above that range. Most of us were expecting that this month might do something for the market, the starting looked good but we will see the progress in a couple of weeks, I guess.

Short-term traders who might have bought at $26k must have sold when the price went up to $28.5k, and if we talk about panic sellers, they might not start reacting very quickly but if the price of Bitcoin moves below $26k, that is when we might see panic sellers starting to react to the price.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: chart reading and prediction on: October 03, 2023, 10:02:53 AM
everyone on twitter, insta reel and youtube is making prediction related to different cryptos based on chart lines. Do you still believe these chart reading?
To be honest, I believe more in people who are doing charts or technical analysis than telling it randomly without basis or proof. Some are also using fundamental analysis which is not really bad but I am more into technical.
So for me,  it's fine and I can believe on it.
And those people who actually do it are only moving in silence. They don't let anyone know their next moves which makes sense because trading is about losing and winning. I mean there are traders who win in one side and the other is losing. So, we need to be selfish to earn more profit out of it. But, there are wise guys who mislead people by publicizing fake information.

Yeah, I also noticed that only a few traders are using fundamentals or it's not being talked about the most as compared to technical analysis. I guess that is because one-of-a-kind news or major news about the financial market or cryptos, doesn't come that often but traders can do a technical analysis anytime they like.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price increase after halving? on: October 03, 2023, 05:44:02 AM
And what makes the price surging is not the halving itself it's the reduce of mining rewards which cause the reduce of additional supply while the demands for Bitcoin is increasing, that's what make the price surging. So, in another more simple word, there is no guarantee that Bitcoin price will increase after halving.
Agreed! Price pump is really due to the price speculation of Bitcoin holders and traders. Since the current circulating supply of Bitcoin is still the same when halving occur. Speculation is what creates a temporary hype to pump the price then correct later.
It's not about the amount that exists, but the amount that WILL exist because the circulating supply may still keep growing since people will keep on mining more, but less will be mined so less will be available on liquidation. So that means we are going to end up with a result that will be a bit different, and should be important to handle all together. I get that we are going to end up with a result that will not be simple, but we should be trying to make that work one way or another.

So when the amount of mined coins per day drops, that means the amount of bitcoin miners can sell per day will drop too, when that drops that means the buyers could keep on buying the same amount and the price will increase anyway.
574  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: October 02, 2023, 08:28:05 PM
In a country where gambling is prohibited, if a person of law can visit someone who is addicted to gambling, then he is given legal punishment. I think does not fix this act
I also don't support such behavior of government where gamblers will be punished if they get catched by law. But each county has different point of views depends on their economy, religious prospective, their culture and others which make them to develop law for welfare of their people. There are many gambler who try to change their luck by gambling, after losing they involving criminal activities for manage money for gambling. Maybe thats the reason why some governments develop this law for gambling as publishable offence. So better to keep it secret for them who belongs to those countries where law don't allow gambling legally
What do you actually expect the authorities to do when they catch you going against the law? They will definitely do what is legally right against those who break the laws and if the country prohibits gambling and it's illegal to gamble and you are still found being involved with gambling, both you and the platform offering the opportunity must be punished since you are both going against the law and if they don't do this, it simply means that the country is not strict about its own laws.

So, you can't blame the government or the authorities if they are punishing people or entities that are either gambling or offering the opportunity for others to gamble because that is the right thing to do about this. If they don't do anything, that will be a bad example and others will start doing the same thing.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: October 02, 2023, 08:11:22 PM
At this time most young people who work think of working only to buy the latest branded goods or follow the current association that always prioritizes style to look luxurious, few of them only think about the future to come, they work only to fulfill the current style with branded goods that they have which will give them satisfaction, great they only prioritize lifestyle to be seen by others even though there will be a future to come and must be prepared from now on.

There is nothing wrong with buying branded goods that they want for themselves but they also have to think about the future because they do not live in the present alone there is a period of time.
I personally don't find anything wrong in spending money on yourself and doing or buying what you like that you don't have as long as you can afford to do that, however, there should be a limit to that. Even if you are working at a very young age and don't have that many responsibilities like you don't have a family to feed, you don't have a wife and children, and all you need to do is take care of yourself and your own needs and wishes that you can do with your own money now.

People who have long-term thinking will surely start preparing for their future as soon as they start earning money, that doesn't mean they don't spend any of the money that they are earning but they will also keep saving or start making investments so that they can have a secure future.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a code that allows PayPal to freeze your crypto assets. on: October 01, 2023, 05:10:16 PM
What you said in your last sentence is the correct way to do it. Don't trust any exchange. Use them for that purpose only. An "exchange".
Remember "Not your keys, not your coins." Let's not forget that, please.
Whatever coins we hold, let's look for a wallet that supports it first because that's the only security we can have from all these scams that are happening left and right. Without that, we are prone to anything.
But, how will you use them if you don't trust them? And an exchange has different purposes or functions which can include trapping our funds for a certain period time to gain a return. Not all exchanges are centralized but there are also decentralized. However I think they still has a risk so we should be careful. Same goes to the crypto wallets. Having our own keys is not the only security that we can have but we have others too like setting up a 2FA, and so on.. We need to do them as well to have an extra layer of security.

The worst case scenario that I am imagining is your asset suddenly gone in Paypal or any exchange and they can still prove that you don't really have anything in their wallet. That will be fucked up because we cannot fight a battle against big companies like that.
That's indeed worse, and it's not different from scamming already. Aren't they afraid with that? If they continue like this, many people will soon not use their service anymore.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 01, 2023, 02:11:33 PM
I hope so but rodrygo seems still to be the primary choice by ancellotti even though joselu was available and this is good. I was seeing that in the previous season if ancellotti was always prioritizing the old talents to play. Kroos and modric seem get less regular time to play and i do like that caused by they were aged even though they were good. I would like to see all of young talented players were filling real madrid. I hope madrid will get a new striker in winter. The club really needs one striker who can carry like benzema in the past.
I hope madrid will able to find someone who was suitable enough in filling the position as a striker. I'm feeling nostalgic for the time when Madrid played without any losses, and they were flawless in their performance.
That reminds me of the era when madrid won three times UCL in a row. It's the best moment i have remembered it in my mind.
Carlos Ancelotti is having his last season here at Real Madrid with his current team is doing impressive, and he doesn't need to do any big changes because in next season with new coach we can expect better things which will help this team for having good results.

Kroos and Modric are surely now having last time because they already give their best with most chances things will be completely change after end of Ancelotti era, and they will be also had their new destination, but one thing is surely as we have rumors we will not have Son Heung-Min in this team in near future.

There is no doubt Real Madrid still looking for good striker and things will be clear in summer 2024 because then we will have the good number of changes and this will be a good chance for them but who is coming it's still not clear even many feeling they have deal with Mbappé which is also not clear.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 01, 2023, 10:53:10 AM
PSG will not sell Mbappé for a high price, even if they extend the contract for another year. Mbappé seems to have determined that his next stop will be Madrid. He turned down many offers from big clubs. Continuing to prolong this transfer will cause damage to both sides, but the one who will suffer the most is probably PSG. They could lose Mbappé entirely without getting any money.
That's right, Madrid is the beneficiary, and PSG has to sell Mbappé to them at a cheap price. Madrid is the one who decides. They can buy Mbappé, and Haaland is also a suitable name for them to spend money on. If PSG keeps the transfer price tight, Madrid is ready to find another player.
It would be very funny if PSG sold Mbappe at a cheap price, Mbappe's previous value was more than 200 million how could he be left at a cheap price now? besides that do you think with Mbappe's contract extension by PSG they will not benefit? don't be too naive in this case because even if Mbappe's goal is to leave but with the previous contract extension it indicates that PSG does not want to lose their money. Even if in the end PSG will also not be too long in the fry from the price issue but still he will be one of the most expensive transfers in the end.
Even right now nothing is clear about Kylian Mbappé contract with PSG, but one thing is sure his tenure is going to end in 2024 with this trigger is only in hands of Mbappé that can he want to extend his contract or not with PSG can't do anything which is really miserable right now but things will be clear in near future because 31 July 2024 is last date, so hopefully things will be cleared by both parties but most chances we will have new destination for the star player with where he is going it is not clear Real Madrid or Liverpool both are strong candidates for him, but financially Liverpool is surely much better because they are also ready for this all.

If we have him as free agent then surely things will be interesting because Real Madrid wants him as free agent but again if we have something special then surely most chances Liverpool is going to spend huge amount for him.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 30, 2023, 07:41:29 PM
Liverpool with 9 players is defending really good and they even had a shot on target so maybe im crazy but if a good counter attack is made they can score. But i really hope that Tottenham scores soon because i really need them badly to win this match. Who knows how much additional time we will see aswell.
No striker, no attacking midfielder, no winger, that's Liverpool's lineup when they have to play with 9 players. They played with defenders and defensive midfielders because Klopp planned to maintain a draw until the end of the match.

What happen is the contrary. Liverpool's defense was forced to score their own goal due to high pressure from Tottenham. Joel Matip misanticipated the cross which led to Tottenham's winning goal at the end of the match. Finally, Liverpool, who seemed robbed by the referee, had to accept defeat at Tottenham today, plus 2 red cards.
Mostly weekends having too much drama and surprises, but today we have more than expectations with shocking defeat for the Manchester City as well but here in this match things were completely shocking because we have to accept Liverpool done good job but at the end Joel Matip done mistake, and now they are going to face consequences as well in coming matches double red card and own goal defeat is surely telling all story for this game but with this all Tottenham is also having one of the best start in years specially as they lost Harry Kane things were never been ideal and most were feeling they could be below than average but with this performance and situation now they are strong case for the top four which is surely interesting.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB ? on: September 30, 2023, 05:26:14 PM
Binance and BNB have been affected by the SEC lawsuit, and it can easily be seen by looking at how considerably low BNB's price is compared to pre-lawsuit levels. Unfortunately, as supportive as I was of BNB in the past and trusted it by believing that it's a relatively safe investment, despite it being an exchange coin that others mentioned, I can no longer confidently claim the same. We can't do anything else but wait; the market is generally not in good shape, and the SEC lawsuit also played an important role in it. Hopefully, 2024 will be a better year.
You would think that lawsuit would affect it, but this legal fight could take years to come to any conclusion. So i don't think 2024 is the year we have any sort of resolution, or even progress on the lawsuit.
However we could have bullrun. As long as there's no withdrawal issues, or BUSD would go bust, i think BNB is doing just fine. I wouldn't count on bullrun, but i can't see any reason for it to radically dump either.
They are big but it can put a dent on them. Worse thing can only happen if they can not defend their selves anymore. Yes it can take a long time, take XRP case for example but many are glad that they remain to be a victor at the end. Even though it won't be solved completely,

I think the coin can still benefit from the positive happenings that are about to come so we can still invest on it now. In the case of BUSD, Binance already noticed that people should withdraw. But if they can't do it on the designated time, then they are in trouble. BUSD won't bust for now because it's not a volatile crypto but it may stop operating soon. Once all the people convert their token.
