561  Economy / Economics / Re: Tonga will probably be the next country to make Bitcoin legal tender on: December 11, 2021, 11:52:10 PM
Honestly, I just read about the country namely Tonga. So after searching on the internet that the data shows us that the condition of people is suitable to implemented crypto as legal tender. Crypto has various advantages that can meet their needs such as easy access, cheap and can improve the welfare of its people through convenience and comfort.

They are somewhat a good country to implement this since they are open on various opportunities which can help them boost their economy. Provably this will be the best option they do if they fully implement this plan and once they totally make bitcoin as their legal tender for sure the two countries announce it will be lucky if more countries will also do it since for sure the price will boost up and so lucky for them to buy at good rate. This could also help their people in economical aspect or in their digital transaction since we know bitcoin gives both convenience and opportunity.

Not only if they are open to this concept but because they have small population and you can easily implement this switch of financial system. If in general, this move will be favorable on them, I guess, it now depends on their government officials if they will follow the path of El Salvador. And the good thing here is that with small population, it would be easier to implement this system. So let's wait if indeed the Tongans can enjoy the benefits of being crypto-dominated country.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Squid Game scam creators buy $125M worth of SHIB turning into Shiba Inu whales on: December 11, 2021, 10:51:06 PM
That's crazy and funny. But I guess it makes sense, they can't cash that much out anyway, so they might as well pump their own holdings.

Imagine leverage longing Shib and then suddenly some dudes buys a hundred million? I bet they did that with a group. And sooner or later, they're gonna short and dump.

I wonder if Binance will look at people who longed and shorted right before such event.

If they can trace back the address to squid game scammers, then, I don't think they can trade in binance freely as binance has compulsory KYC now. So if they can identify those addresses to squid game project, binance can easily get the names of those individuals because of KYC. That is, if those people are trading in binance but if in another exchange without KYC, I don't think we can get the names of those scammers. They definitely know how to evade authorities if we are talking millions of dollars. Because if they will cash out, they have to provide KYC if they will not use p2p exchange. So right now, they are converting to other alts up until people already forgotten this rug pull.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] *** [AGAIN] New Crypto Project -Loyalty Reward Program 2.0 **** on: December 10, 2021, 11:15:11 PM
I see again tokens can be spend at some of the shops and services that listed on their website
I don't really know all of what they listed on their website, all of them is really can be used to spend again tokens, but I tried one of them https://digitalkingdom.com/, it's true. Again tokens can be used for shopping there. But I never use any of them to buy something.
-

If they want to be successful in this program, they need to collaborate with many shops or merchants as much as possible. Because we all know that this concept is not the first time to be introduced here. But unfortunately, most of them are not successful because they lack the partnerships with merchants. So how can you use this service if you have very little number to no shops involved? So yes, they need to work on how to attract merchants to integrate their payment method in order for them to survive.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 10, 2021, 10:11:53 PM
ETH 2.0 development guide presented by Vitalik, the co-founder of Ethereum. He has definite his arrangements to elevate the upcoming ETH 2.0 upgrade. Anyway, He's been saying this beginning around 2016, might be 2022 is finish year!

It won't ever quit upgrading. After 2.0 possible 3.0? New features arrive, I'm almost certain it's not the finish of the story! Just HODL!

ETC will pick up the pieces :-D ETH ded<===

Is that a sarcastic comment?  Grin

Anyway, the other day I did an ETH tx from my MEW as the gas fee was relatively low like about $5, that is if you are transferring ETH only. But for other tokens, I believe, it is still high. Hoping that one day, we will finally see cheaper gas fees because this is all what we have been waiting for.
Though their developments seem slow but we know for sure, they are doing something behind the curtain. This is why people still trust on this project.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GalleonCoin GALE PoW with Masternodes on: December 09, 2021, 11:54:36 PM
The developers of the GalleonCoin coin have made a pre-mine of 1,000,000,000. GALE, most of the coins are concentrated in the same hands mainly on the wallet 16RhwAmcshhVgNduxLFHN3xixaMyDSzCd3
THE DEVELOPERS THEMSELVES WRITE THAT THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF COINS WILL BE 6,000,000,000 GALE

This has become more common lately. Developers involved in masternode usually clone popular masternode coins such as Dash or PIVX.
Once their goal is complete, that is, once they have sold enough nodes, they simply abandon the project.

 Wink

Well, I can't blame you for that kind of observation because most MN coins were known to be pump and dump coins. That's why a lot of devs will try to sell their coins/MNs in discord, they will promise to list the coin in an exchange, but once it starts trading, expect that after few months, the price will be in continuous decline up until it is not worth anymore. So before you buy MN coin, you have to contemplate if it is really worth your investments.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any hope for BitcoinCash? on: December 09, 2021, 11:04:47 PM
There's so many hardforks that came after BCH that I just don't really see it as a longterm thing. It might still be around in a few years, used by some, but just not in the volume that is required. It might still pump every bullmarket, probably less so than Bitcoin, with temporary exceptions.

I don't believe CW is satoshi, but there's a lot of people that do, and BSV just got a much fiercer fanbase, it's probably going to overtake BCH at one point.

As you wrote, there were many forks which, like BCH, did not contribute anything new. These types of ideas are nothing long term, just a desire for a quick profit. It is possible that with some big bull run we will see BCH price pump. However, in my opinion, the prices of all forks will slowly go towards zero. (BSV also)

Hard to invest long-term on this type of coin because if you will look at it, there's really no reason why they should exist. We already have bitcoin and these forked coins are not needed anymore, for what? Additional confusion for newcomers? Because if you ask, what's the main purpose of this? I can't think of a very good one. I will store btc rather than these forked coins.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can SHIB rise to 0.1? on: December 08, 2021, 08:10:20 PM
I think the Shiba Inu token price will depend on the team or project development support ,we know that shiba Inu is a meme coin and it has a very big token supply and once this coin will start to dump it will surely loss value, meme coin has no use case and the price always depend on the community so I think if the Shiba Inu wanted to reach 0.1$ at price they must burn a huge percent of Thier token supply.

That's the problem here. We don't know if the dev team behind this meme token is indeed doing something to cement their position among cryptocurrencies. Even their thread here in the forum, they are not active. So don't know if they have long-term plans for this token or are they just banking on shilling from their holders? This is quite high risk to invest with because up until now, I don't know what use case they are after for.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments planning a Crypto Crackdown? on: December 08, 2021, 06:25:15 PM
Recently, many governments have been showing increasing animosity against Cryptos. While the US is preparing to launch a Blockchain surveillance plan, other countries such as Sweeden are showing signs of moving towards a crypto crackdown by criminalising mining.

Should we be worried about this?

The trend of using bitcoin in many transactions is getting higher day by day as compared to fiat. If we look into the financial perspective. It may have a great impact on the economy. Governments should formulate regulations on crypto markets rather than banning or crackdown. Also as about the crackdown on crypto, I think it would be practically impossible for the government. However, nothing can be exactly predicted.

I don't think crypto transactions can now be considered higher to fiat transactions because the majority of financial transactions across the globe is still in fiat. But I do agree that crypto adoption is increasing day by day. Crackdown is not ultimately possible because people can still do their crypto transactions without the government knowing it. There are so many ways now how to go around the government. So it is not in their best interest if they will totally ban it, because users will always find a way how to execute their transaction.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PhotonicBitcoin - Revolutionizing Proof of Work [oPOW][POW] on: December 07, 2021, 08:50:05 PM
Even if your  goal is to be energy efficient as compared to bitcoin, we all know that people will still prefer bitcoin because of the established position in the market. So how are you going to attract crypto users to use your coin? Also, the common problem of new projects is the listing in exchanges. If you are only present in one or 2 exchanges, you will find out that adoption of your currency is very hard. So do you think you can list this coin in several exchanges?
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: December 06, 2021, 11:26:08 PM
Not really... it's hard to build brand like Ethereum. Mainstream people know Bitcoin, and Ethereum... they have either BTC or ETH wallet. That's hard t change.

This is the challenge from these new networks because a lot are used to BTC and ETH. But slowly, we are seeing that people are now patronizing BNB, DOT and other popular competitors of ETH. The popularity right now may haven't surpassed the ETH's popularity yet. But with the still expensive gas fees, I won't be surprised if sooner or later, a lot of small traders will eventually move to BSC or other cheaper networks. We have no idea when will the ETH team address these ridiculous fees, which is not very friendly for small traders.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-Sale] 123swap Finance 🚀 Swap, Earn, Bridge, Mint Crypto & NFT 🚀 on: December 06, 2021, 10:31:44 PM
I thought their platform is live in few days ago, but no. I'm quite surprised that their platform has been live since the middle of last August, I found their tweet about it. https://twitter.com/123swapfinance/status/1427590735126269953
Currently in private sale, they have 14 million of tokens ready for sale, this is the largest number in their sale. Furthermore, in the public sale phase, there are only 2 million tokens with more higher price, which is $0.12. So right now on private sale is a really good opportunity to own some without worried about limit of tokens.

But it depends on how they will really perform in actual competition. The comparison table is good, but we already see a lot of comparison tables always saying all the advantages over known popular competitors, and yet, they failed to surpass them in actual application. So before you shell out your funds, make another round of assessment if they can truly keep up with their roadmap and deliver those features. Competing with uni or pancakeswap is a very nice challenge to take.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jury: Bitcoin creator Craig Wright 100% Satoshi Nakamoto on: December 06, 2021, 07:12:21 PM
Now, the he won the trial, can he prove the ownership of those bitcoins? This is what we are waiting for as CW can't prove his ownership. Because as said before, he will prove his ownership once he wins the trial. And also, he plans to donate much of those to charity. So can he move those bitcoins? That's the next big question here. This is interesting to follow if he can really prove such ownership.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KCC and new DEXes on: December 05, 2021, 11:52:59 PM
thank you for your opinion guys. btw someone mentioned the admins in telegram group. you can filter admins in the group on telegram and see admins only. their profile pictures are abviously fake imo. and their english... probably worse than mine  Grin not sure if its scam but if it is they should rugpull when kcc took the attention by many people

Have you checked if this KCC is initiated officially by kucoin? Because some scammers are good in pretending to be official rep of the site. So if they are full of spammers and shillers, then, I doubt it comes from Kucoin itself. Look for official announcement about the deployment of this project. Because if there's nothing, doubt about its authenticity. Stay away and don't spend any penny.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Much needed your attention for these type of tokens in this Dip on: December 05, 2021, 11:13:16 PM
Hi there

thanks for the recommendation...I am here around if anyone has any question please do not hesitate to contact me

Best Regards...

It's very strange, how did you know that OP had created this thread? Did he send you PM? or is the OP part of the team or was he paid to promote the project?

anyway i prefer to stay away from meme altcoins

I just wonder what will happen if the meme token era is gone because we know the trend will always change.

will be like ICOs and DEFI

Maybe, the OP is part of the team and just discreetly promoting the project. With meme coins, hard to put your hard-earned money on this type of project. As you don't know when they will pump, if ever there will be, their future is very hazy. So if you want a lil bit of assurance, better put it on btc or eth or bnb, because we know, their market will improve once we see the green candles. Meme season is just another hype. Once people got tired and burnt by these scam meme tokens, another hype will be born and so most of the meme tokens will die.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor has Acquired 121,044 BTC at $3.57 Billion on: December 05, 2021, 09:38:27 PM
Psst, buddy. The price isn't $60,000.

At 48000 (current price), profit is: $2.060 112bn, I'd be OK with that.

Nothing wrong with billion-dollar profits here.  Grin Anyway, the OP is just saying that if they will sell at $60k, he knows that we are in the 48k level. People are indeed greedy if they are not happy with billion dollar profits. Well, that's to be expected. People want more as long as they see the probability that they will get more. Curious if Microstrategy is still buying at this dip just like El Salvador. For those small users who want to take advantage of this opportunity, they can very well buy some during this price drop and don't regret when the btc price starts to ramp up again.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bitcoin symbol going to be added to the keyboard? on: December 04, 2021, 11:40:14 PM
It might take a while, but for now we just have to stick with ASCII codes and alt codes if ever it is implemented. Bitcoin is only starting to hit the mainstream, and I don't think keyboard manufacturers are ready to implement a dedicated BTC key just yet. It might take a few good years before this starts to be a trend. It will start on customized keyboards, until such time that it will branch out on main keyboards as well.

I do agre with you here. I don't know if there are manufacturers that are already thinking about this. Fo now, just use codes to insert the BTC symbol in your works. Maybe if btc is still here for the next 10 years, there's a possibility that we may see this symbol in our computers. But for phone apps, we may see it soon. Remember, up until now the currency that made it to the general keyboard layout is $. But some dedicated keyboards also have this £ or €.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba INU tokens continue to rise? on: December 04, 2021, 10:37:54 PM
Shiba inu may be rise due to recent gaming update. Etherium Whales keep buying Shib which is good sign for Shib.
I think they know something huge is gonna happen with Shiba, maybe another zero cut till the end of december. I bet they're launching a metavarse game soon.
Are you telling that Shiba Inu is planning to come up with a game, i could not find that in their official website regarding the game you are talking about. Anyone who invested during the initial days made a fortune and if you are smart enough you would book your profit and stay happy rather than holding until you see a major correction which is inevitable with a rally like it had.

I am yet to understand their other coins in Shiba Inu, LEASH and BONE as it is limited in nature and what purpose does it serve.

I believe, you don't need to understand its purpose because more than likely when it was created, the dev team behind has no solid purpose in mind. Because up until now, there's no active use case for these meme tokens. I don't know any application in the market but for mere speculation only. But maybe, I am missing something. Because if we ask those shib holders, what is this token for? I'm guessing, they also are hoping for the increase of price why they are holding and not really after for particular use case.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with eth 2.0. releasing? Lower fee? on: December 03, 2021, 11:16:41 PM
Hi, do you expect big changes after eth 2.0. come, when will that happen?
Many crypto users are waiting for ETH 2.0, because we are hoping there will be a solution to the Ethereum high transaction fee, because there are very good and interesting project tokens in the Ethereum blockchain that people stop following due to high gas fee, instead they go for BEP-20 token in Binance SmartChain. We hope it will really solve the transaction fee.

A lot has been waiting in vain for long time already. This is why these new chains like BSC, SOL, DOT, emerge. Because they are trying to address the transaction fee prob in ETH. When I tried today to move my ETH from my MEW, the min that I need to spend is about $10 of ETH for gas fees. Since I only have small amount, I decided to let it sit in my MEW and just wait for the time that the gas fee will go down. Though one can already track the gas fee via this link - https://etherscan.io/gastracker. So right now, the fees are still high for small traders. But hopefully, we will see improvement by next year.
579  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware from p2pb2b.io on: December 02, 2021, 11:52:26 PM
Hello. 12th november my p2pb2b.io account blocked without reason. Then they sent me an e mail about the blocking (ı will post under the topic). I sent necessary information to legal@p2pb2b.io. Today  2nd of december my account still blocked and ı cannot reach my funds. So ı tell every single crypto traders dont store your coins to p2pb2b.io because they blocked accounts without reason ramdomly. Do Not Store your coins at p2pb2b.io.

I will say right now that sorry for your loss and you might not get in touch with your funds.

That exchange is already red-tagged here in the community. I don't know why you end up using that exchange but for whatever reason or you end up with no choice as your coins only listed there, I hope you learned something special. Always do a hard DYOR before using any platform.

Update us here if, by any chance, the exchange now responds positively to you.

This is why this exchange couldn't hold their sig campaign in the forum because a lot are contradicting the activity because of their shady practices. Some are still using this exchange because there are some coins that you can only trade on this exchange. But if you have no choice, maybe try smaller funds first. Because if you go all in, maybe this exchange is holding so they can get it for themselves.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: December 02, 2021, 10:32:37 PM

What are your thoughts about these 2 coins' future and is it possible that Musk will decide to the hype on something else also? Green coins are getting more popular. Why doesn't he mention any of them? Which one do you think needs such a kick?

I doubt that he will be tweeting about crypto again anytime soon after the many criticisms that have been directed at him. but even so, I still believe there will be another bull. like now bitcoin is starting to try to return to the price of 40k, after a few days yesterday it fell below 33k. if bitcoin can stay at the current price, maybe there will be further bulls that will occur.
But a single person cannot change the whole nature of market. There single tweet can pump any coin. But after some time this coin will dump hard. Elon musk tweets active investor to buy coin. And investors pump coin badly. I think it is not a right way to pump or dump and coin.

For long timers, they should know better that tweeting is not a sustainable approach to the market position of any coin. It should come with actual development of the coin. And right now, we don't know if Musk is indeed involve in the development of doge, if there's any.

And another very simple tweet recently of Musk influences the market of doge. Just mentioning the name of doge in his tweets make this coin pumping. You can really see the influence of him towards this coin.
