5601  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tomatocage & Lauda = female? on: September 14, 2017, 08:24:22 PM
Let me take a guess, either:
1) QS shill.
2) Someone that I've tagged one or multiple times.

Shout out to my fans! Kiss
5602  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can someone help me? to give negative trust to my hacked account on: September 14, 2017, 08:20:16 PM
Looks like good proof to me. I've archived everything pending a detailed review:

I'll take a closer look later/tomorrow and tag both accounts. Nicely done.
5603  Other / Meta / Re: We need to moderate this section ??? on: September 14, 2017, 07:42:52 PM
This thread got buried quickly. How do we get it in-front of a mod?
A moderator's opinion is pretty much worthless on this.

Should it be in a different sub?
No.

I've sent a PM to theymos with a link to it. Whether he will respond here is not something that I would know. Let's wait and see.
5604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.14.2 Released on: September 14, 2017, 07:31:14 PM
0.15.0 is finally released: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/release-notes/release-notes-0.15.0.md.

I tried posting the release notes, but that resulted in failure due to the character limit. Theymos needs to make a manual exception.
5605  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda/TMAN/minifrij extortion attempt on: September 14, 2017, 07:23:00 PM
Extortion ,ransom are considered as felony crimes and some countries like UAE and Swiss have a serious consequences for it. Even in US there is upto 4 years of imprisonment(I guess). Was any Legal action was taken against the extortionists?
No legal action was taken as there is no basis to do so. Anyhow, considering that this is pushed by mostly criminals (excluding shorena ), there will be no legal action of any kind unless they want to go to prison themselves. E.g. OP is a chronic scammer that got busted for stealing escrow pennies. Roll Eyes
5606  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can someone help me? to give negative trust to my hacked account on: September 14, 2017, 12:13:44 PM
i see  Embarrassed I've sent a message to theymos and cyrus has not got a reply, maybe it's busy. How about alt accounts in campaign? can it give negative trust? I'll give some references later
What do you mean with alt accounts? The user currently *in control of your account* has other accounts enrolled in other campaigns? You should list the accounts and provide proof here.
5607  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 14, 2017, 11:55:26 AM

OP should update the poll into 'Where will the bottom be in September'?. Roll Eyes
5608  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fake Trusted feedback on: September 14, 2017, 11:00:51 AM
I have left you another "fake" feedback. Thank you for pointing out that you need to be tagged. Have a nice day.
5609  Other / Meta / Re: Posts quality, WTF!? on: September 14, 2017, 10:58:46 AM
1. Release ban hammer! Remove altcoin campaigns from the forum along with banning their signatures until they get the hint.
Remove altcoin campaigns? Why?

2. Improve SMAS initiative (how?)
SMAS is only limited to the managers that are part of it and those that are using the SMAS list. This isn't a forum initiative. I fail to see how it could improve other than us getting even more campaigns to manage. I am not going to go play whack a mole in random campaigns, knowing that often the users that I point out won't get kicked from it (see the shitcoin Waves campaign).

3. Create specific sections of the forum for things like 'signature campaign discussion', 'how to earn bitcoin', and similar topics that keep getting created.
This is a very bad proposal that won't do anything. Scratch it.

5. Ban people who persist in opening shitty threads (repeated, etc) as well as ban people who keep posting there.
Trash the whole thread and ban, yes.

6. Give negative trust ratings to spammers.
Amen.

7. Add a feature to up or down vote a thread. Then users could scan the list and see the threads that have been given up votes.
This was discussed before / is too prone to abuse and will not work properly.

9. Do nothing, cause it’s hopeless
Put it all on fire.

I assume you have your own sight of how it could be solved. Curious to hear.
I could rehash a number of things from previous threads, but what's the point when the administration doesn't even want to comment on the problem publicly let alone solve it?
Global moderator Hilariousandco multiple times offered various solutions to spam problem. But main person of this forum - theymos, he ignores the problem. Maybe it means that he is happy about current situation here on bitcointalk?
I have no idea why you're telling me this. No idea what cave you've been living in.
5610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 14, 2017, 10:51:35 AM
Was the BTC850 Wall eating that fast @bitstamp ??  Huh
Half of it was sold into (around $650k), and the rest was pulled.
5611  Economy / Reputation / Re: Does Binance do some diligence upon listing? SONM listing - Not moderated on: September 14, 2017, 10:46:45 AM
What was the primary issue ?
The primary issue, more or less, is the failure to remove the escrow in time and notify both the escrow and users. Therefore, SONM team has deceived pretty anyone who failed to see that sudden change before the ICO start (which represents the majority of the people).

To me the primary issue is that the SONM team is working hard to create a product.
Vaporware. Yawn. Roll Eyes

Everything mentioned by Almedia has been explained by SONM many times over. The polish team, the escrow, the Voronkov story.
Indulge me and explain the escrow again. There is absolutely no explanation that could justify what was done.

About me diverting from main issue I think that I actually focused on main issue. Almedia wouldn't be posting this if he wasn't unhappy, so I tried to investigate this and its clear that to him this is about about 400 dollars worth of tokens he thinks he should have received.
Are you seriously trying to imply that legitimate issues such as this should be dismissed because the author might have a hidden agenda?

However we are not idiots here and we all know what is blockchain and that on blockchain only confirmed transaction is a transaction.
I guess my unconfirmed transactions are vapor. Cheesy Cheesy
5612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 14, 2017, 10:33:44 AM
I smell potential blood in the streets again. Roll Eyes

Revaluation getting baked in.
Not bubble.
It was never a bubble to begin with, and those zooming out on non logarithmic charts and making conclusions are idiots at best.

Firm growth rings being put in place and solid anchors - unlike the 2013/14 rise which didn't get a chance to consolidate after the 1k ATH. (Well, it did but only by the time it had lost 90% of its growth).
I wouldn't mind sticking around this point, given that we don't continue much lower.
5613  Economy / Reputation / Re: Does Binance do some diligence upon listing? SONM listing - Not moderated on: September 14, 2017, 08:05:57 AM
Since Almedia that started another thread is obviously just trying to do damage to SONM project...
Like the project has anything of worth damaging to begin with. Roll Eyes You're deflecting from the primary issue raised by the user.
5614  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poor Translation/Automated Translation (Portuguese) on: September 14, 2017, 06:26:46 AM
Now if only the busted member and his "friends" or "alt" accounts could stop coming up with excuses and PM-ing me to remove my rating, that would be great. Roll Eyes
Now the same guy is trying to buy "posivite trust" for 1000 DOGE ($1) because he was the victim of an "attack"; lol

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2173824.msg21793764
Classic idiot. Roll Eyes Tagged, and archived: https://archive.fo/GB0Lw.
5615  Economy / Reputation / Re: FUD Gang on: September 14, 2017, 06:17:39 AM
Don't take my word for it, look into it yourself, I don't have enough time to post here all the posts that these trolls were doing, but it can clearly be found in their post history.
Why should I? This case seems very uninteresting, just like the token that it is related to. Cases where negative ratings are justified are all pretty much *pro bono*. You're not required to pursue any if you do not want to.

I am not a moderator, you guys are.
I'm not sure what makes you think that I'm a moderator. Cheesy

In fact I have contacted mprep as well, but he also said that I should compile a list of the FUD posts that they were doing because he doesnt have time.
The latter does not surprise me.

I don't understand why are you guys against or pro something, why can't this be objectively viewn?
This is an objective assessment. If someone truly truly thinks DASH is not a scam, then they're one (or multiple) of the following: 1) A DASH holder. 2) Pathetically ignorant. 3) Mentally demented. Although, I may have missed a reason or two.

Shouldn't you supposed to be objective and evidence based as a moderator when handling a dispute?
Both are objective; DASH and BCH are scams. Not that this is a matter that belongs in this thread.

Again, even if the trolls were banned from the forum, they could always make another account or go to the Slack. You can't win this one.
Everything is fine as long as the price does not crash. Roll Eyes

Damn I wasted a day cpu mining this thing. Getting 1BSD per day.
I'm not sure what made you think that you could compete with a CPU against other GPU miners. CPUs are highly inefficient in comparison.

Should post in the official website that this is now NVIDIA mining only.
No. There's a working AMD miner, but not NVIDIA.
5617  Economy / Collectibles / Re: World of Warcraft Collectors Edition on: September 13, 2017, 09:20:39 PM
Yes, i have, send me e-mail, and i can send. I just not wanna " spam " here with pictures.
That has nothing to do with spamming. It's commonplace to add images of anything that you're trying to sell/auction here. Upload them to imgur and post the images here.
5618  Economy / Reputation / Re: Does Binance do some diligence upon listing? SONM listing on: September 13, 2017, 09:07:57 PM
Ilia777, go troll in another thread, I'll leave below the last message explaining to you what you asked.
not really a troll, he's one of SONM advisors:
https://blog.sonm.io/ilia-frankstein-joins-sonm-advisory-board-6a9ae8696269
So they have a troll, ignoring the things laid out in this thread, i.e. intentionally diverting away from it with not really relevant nonsense? That does not surprise me. >90% of the listen ICO/token advisers are just full of bullshit and used for hyping/marketing. Roll Eyes

-snip-
Tl;dr: To tag or not to tag?
5619  Economy / Reputation / Re: FUD Gang on: September 13, 2017, 09:03:04 PM
You don't need to be lawyer. You can: 1) Consult your own lawyer. 2) Read the laws, do research and make a reasonable conclusion. If you can't sue people for "FUD-ing" Bitcoin, then you can't sue them for "FUD-ing" AMP.
This claim of his shows how nuts he is. I have never seen a guy that is so much full of shit as he is. He talks like a 5 year old.
Based on his responses I've decided to dismiss this case / will not be willing to pursue it anymore. The more this thread develops, the more I'm convinced that this is just due to the failed investment and that there's nothing going on, other than the standard "FUD" that happens to pretty much any coin.

There are much broader issues of the opposite of a "FUD gang", which is a "shill gang". People who are shilling scams like DASH et. al. should be the ones to get neg. rated. However, this forum has so many flawed policies that going vs. that gang of scammers (or similar) is not possible for a small group of people let alone 1 cat. All this behavior is BTCT administration approvedTM.

so we cant mine our favorite coin with GPU :/
Says who?

what is the best way to mine ?
Any asics ?
AMD GPUs should work just fine. You can even use CPUs, but obviously that is highly inefficient.
