No matter where I hosted that poll, it can be fixed and manipulated. If I did it on Bitcointalk, new accounts can be used. If I did it on Strawpoll, proxies can be used. If I did it anywhere else, the same principal applies. Marcotheminer has pointed this out already. If you want a forum poll, I will make one. If you want a longer poll, sure. I don't mind.

Nowadays he's staff and I bring up the question again about this ad and his special exception. Like I said before, I'm not in charge of making that decision. I don't get special privileges. The only "power" I have is over the Dutch subsection, which I moderate. I'm not surprised that bitcoiniformation is keeping the ad, I'm pretty sure he was going to do so either way. The straw poll was cute, tho. I would have removed the ad if people wanted it gone, as I am a man of my word and I listen to what the community wants. I have always done that and I see no reason why I should stop that, because of an ad I have in my thread. You are accusing me of keeping it anyway, no matter what people voted, which is offensive to me. If you don't like it bad luck, I'm not here to please everyone. If you really feel like this thread shouldn't have an ad, you can always contact theymos and badbear. They gave me the rights to add it and they can revoke it as well. |

Can someone review the code, and tell people if its safe to use or not. Always scared of trying out new things on the net.
I already did! For the love of god, stop posting crap message to increase your own post count! I just downloaded the file and decompiled it, because the Github link doesn't contain any source files (which is suspicious). The file is clean as far as I can see but the "lock" function doesn't lock, it just moves the file to a one of the 5 preset folders. You guess what the "unlock" function does.
If you ask me, it's pretty useless.

I send an email to them around 7th of Jan and politely asked if my coins where shipped yet (included ofc order number). Just got an answer today (yah) - that they will get back to me as soon as possible and my email has been forwarded to someone who could answer my question. So I answered politely that they could close my case since my coins arrived last week  I sent them an e-mail today with the same question and it has been forwarded to someone else with the question how far the order is. We shall see how it goes. |
