Some of the argument might be true but where do they go when they leave, Do they have close alternatives?. Other options may not serve the same purpose as bitcointalk but project team lately dont think they can have that size of investors like in the past. I can deduct this by the renewed approach and reward for social campaign for their projects than for bitcointalk. People are not spending time reading the forum post like before and searching for news, bounty hunter had taken over the forum just posting or rather spamming. merit is still considered as important but other benefits should be attached to the forum and more or higher financial implication should be attached to getting forum membership to control spammers.
It doesn't necessarily mean they have somewhere else to go. Most of those get-rich-quick scheme people could have probably decided to log out of the forum and move on with life having realized that it's not possible as they thought back then when the bull run was crazy.

Since this is one of the biggest forum for crypto community the security should be much better I have been a member since 2014 and really sad I lost my account. You haven't lost you account, just follow the newly provided procedure and you will get it back if you have enough proof. I have seen so many people regain back control of their accounts lately after many months. Also, are you in control of the account's original email?

Based on forum stats:
Average online per day: 178.41
Not true at all. The reality actually is after the introduction of the merit system, most spammers and account farmers left. This has been coupled with much stricter forum rules lately like negative trusting misbehaving users and also the bear market. There was an influx of all sorts of people in the forum towards the end of 2017 due to the bull run where the were seeking airdrops, bounties and ICO of which many have since starved off now due to the lengthy bear run.

Congratulations upon achieving your new milestone... This very encouraging and shows how rewarding it is to help the community and also keep it clean by fighting against spammers and scammers. I for sure do not know if i will ever be able to attain Legendary status, let alone Hero status but i will keep trying.

Full node client vs Light node clients would be a much better title since your focus is on wallets. Also since it's a "vs" thing, summary of info link the pros and cons of each type of client alongside examples of full node and light node clients would really be useful. Thanks for your effort thou

we need to just pretends it to be,to bring the real bull run on. It is good to see that market is green with all the cryptos and most importantly ethereum is bumoing which may bring the ICOs again to the drama. By the way, have you noticed that Ethereum, Bitcoincash and EOS have the biggest gains so far in the top 10? Do you know why it's so? I have been observing this for weeks in this bearish market. Lately when there is a bear trend, EOS, BCH and ETH seem to drop the hardest... When there is a short bullish trend, the three again seem to have the highest gains. Here is my theory: Hardest drop in bear trend = the Highest gains in bullish trend and vice versa. So just be ready in-case the prices drop, the 3 in the top 10 will drop hard again and ethereum could temporarily lose it's second spot on coinmarketcap to XRP as we have already seen it multiple times. Ethereum high gain could also be related to the upcoming fork.

Am pretty sure you didn't read the whole thread. All you ever wanted to do was to save your ass here. Starter of the reddit thread got himself phished by a fake website and then goes ahead to blame the genuine site for getting phished and claiming that all the websites are the same and are scam... all this with no evidence at all connecting the site. He also admitted to getting phished later on. It's like me getting phished and scammed by a binance clone site, then I take it on to the genuine binance support team and accuse them of scam. How stupid.

Aside from scams, it has these security and privacy encryption technique - secret chat functions, large data storage, fast messaging services, and so far no advertisement.
Telegram used to be so good back in the day before it airdrop craze and Pump and Dump groups came in. One very interesting feature was anonymity which has seen been revoked after the telegram team succumbed to pressure from governments. I still haven't got round to looking at telegram - is there any advantage in using it? All I ever see are scam reports.
Support of most projects/exchanges is much easier and quicker to access through telegram compared to the email or ticket system, I guess that why most people get in there in the first place. Also, so many projects/exchanges do not have forums so most members of a common community create groups to connect... Scammers then just come along.

One thing I would love to understand is, if a thread you replied in is deleted, does your reply as count as deleted?

A few weeks ago I have received two merits from somebody. Now both merits have gone. What happened? Is it a glitch in the forum or my merits disappeared?
Maybe if you have just decided to contribute something more useful to the community rather than spam a given thread with you alts, you would be having much more merit to notice that 2 merits where missing. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5109866.msg49736435#msg49736435I guess karma is a bitch after all.

If and when you quit Nicotine, take 10mg Full-flush Vitamin B3 (Niacin) x 4 times a day: once after breakfast, once after lunch, once after dinner and once before bed. Only do this if you're not using nicotine replacements, such as gum patches or vaping.
On Day 3, increase to 20mg x 4 times a day, and maintain that dose for two weeks before coming back down to 10mg x 4 times a day.
After 6 weeks gradually taper off the Niacin to zero.
The way it works is that Niacin (aka Nicotinic Acid) is structurally closely related to Nicotine. In fact, they use the same neural receptor: The Nicotinic Receptor. What the body actually wants is Nicotinic Acid (aka Vitamin B3), but sadly the Nicotine molecule binds to the Nicotinic Receptor far more efficiently than Nicotinic Acid, hence the brain gets confused.
So when you quit Nicotine, you wanna patch up the empty Nicotinic Receptor with Nicotinic Acid as soon as possible. If done correctly, you shouldn't experience any cravings at all.
This is the best advice you will get here from a medical point of view... Stopping smoking has to be a gradual process and Niacin will do the magic. I hope OP gets to see this, and we would really love to get a feedback from you about your progress.

Very careless person or scammer in my opinion. He had a chance to save his reputation, and he just continued playing weird scripts. Why didn't he warn his customers on his threads that he had stop using a particular telegram account? Even after realizing his mistake he continued to be unapologetic instead of coming to a mutual understanding but hey, do scammers even care about reputation here?

That website is offline for now but it used to be active back in the day and I have very much belief my account details got phished through that domain before I started using some useful anti-phishing extensions. MetaMask and cryptonite proved very useful later on as the prevented me from getting onto the website a half a dozen times

When you actually go through most telegram groups, you get to see so many warning signs from founders and admins of different projects of how they will not PM you asking for a deposit of any money. A person who falls for such shallow scam attempts is to blame. Happens to me so many times, as soon as you join a certain telegram community of let's say EOS or NEO, you will be welcomed by a bunch of scammers in your PM pretending to be support while presenting to you some weird deals.

I made eos wallet through zeos.com do you have any tutorial on how will I be able to access my eos wallet? I tried to login using scatter but it just direct me to the page where I paid.
Hope to hear from you.
Did you make payment through zeos.com while creating it? If yes, are you using the exact active private key/ Owner private key when importing your new account to scatter? Yes, I imported my private keys there and it just direct me to zeos site. I browse it and didn't find where will I see my wallet. I'll screenshot it tomorrow so you can see, I'm using my phone right now. Thank you for the prompt reply. Great! Screenshots would be much helpful to see how to sort out this problem. I will be glad to help.

for the otc buy and sell for BTC ETH EOS USDT I use otc.hbg.com it has 0% commission on all trades on the platform. tell me what you think The website you even just shared supports only 2 African currencies for OTC buy and Sell. That's the Nigerian Naira and South African Rand. How ironical. To you does this really look good for Africa? A continent with 50+ countries?

I still doubt it though I would want it to happen... this bear market can even take 2 to 3 years before we see a major bull run. What I think is going to happen is BTC price may reach close to $4000 on Wednesday before dropping back to the 3500-3600 zone by weekend. Let watch and see what happens

THX https://imgur.com/a/CjMRH64As soon as I modify the look to make it look different, I will share my epitaph. Mainly I did not have to write the entire page from the beginning. Judging from your account rank and posting history, it's a no-brainer that you are the same scammer trying to trick people in buying your fake scripts or whatever is in there

If you are talking about Bitbook gambling this site is very well known in 2018,
Being a 2018 website doesn't stop them from being scammers. Scammers are looking for new smarter ways of scamming, and so we should also think a step ahead before investing or using their websites.
