5601  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I quit smoking? on: February 18, 2019, 03:57:40 PM
If and when you quit Nicotine, take 10mg Full-flush Vitamin B3 (Niacin) x 4 times a day: once after breakfast, once after lunch, once after dinner and once before bed. Only do this if you're not using nicotine replacements, such as gum patches or vaping.

On Day 3, increase to 20mg x 4 times a day, and maintain that dose for two weeks before coming back down to 10mg x 4 times a day.

After 6 weeks gradually taper off the Niacin to zero.

The way it works is that Niacin (aka Nicotinic Acid) is structurally closely related to Nicotine. In fact, they use the same neural receptor: The Nicotinic Receptor. What the body actually wants is Nicotinic Acid (aka Vitamin B3), but sadly the Nicotine molecule binds to the Nicotinic Receptor far more efficiently than Nicotinic Acid, hence the brain gets confused.

So when you quit Nicotine, you wanna patch up the empty Nicotinic Receptor with Nicotinic Acid as soon as possible. If done correctly, you shouldn't experience any cravings at all.

This is the best advice you will get here from a medical point of view... Stopping smoking has to be a gradual process and Niacin will do the magic.
I hope OP gets to see this, and we would really love to get a feedback from you about your progress.

Very careless person or scammer in my opinion. He had a chance to save his reputation, and he just continued playing weird scripts.
Why didn't he warn his customers on his threads that he had stop using a particular telegram account?

Even after realizing his mistake he continued to be unapologetic instead of coming to a mutual understanding but hey, do scammers even care about reputation here?
5603  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scam Bitcointalk Sites Be Safe !!! on: February 18, 2019, 03:24:12 PM
That website is offline for now but it used to be active back in the day and I have  very much belief my account details got phished through that domain before I started using some useful anti-phishing extensions.
MetaMask and cryptonite proved very useful later on as the prevented me from getting onto the website a half a dozen times
5604  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be Aware of those Dodgy Exchanges Support telegram account. on: February 18, 2019, 03:17:34 PM

When you actually go through most telegram groups, you get to see so many warning signs from founders  and admins of different projects of how they will not PM you asking for a deposit of any money.
A person who falls for such shallow scam attempts is to blame.

Happens to me so many times, as soon as you join a certain telegram community of let's say EOS or NEO, you will be welcomed by a bunch of scammers in your PM pretending to be support while presenting to you some weird deals.
5605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS WALLET on: February 18, 2019, 03:07:22 PM
I made eos wallet through zeos.com do you have any tutorial on how will I be able to access my eos wallet? I tried to login using scatter but it just direct me to the page where I paid.

Hope to hear from you.
Did you make payment through zeos.com while creating it?
If yes, are you using the exact active private key/ Owner private key when importing your new account to scatter?

Yes, I imported my private keys there and it just direct me to zeos site. I browse it and didn't find where will I see my wallet. I'll screenshot it tomorrow so you can see, I'm using my phone right now.

Thank you for the prompt reply.
Great!
Screenshots would be much helpful to see how to sort out this problem. I will be glad to help.
5606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Africa buy and sell of Crypto on the increase? on: February 18, 2019, 03:02:48 PM
for the otc buy and sell for BTC ETH EOS USDT I use otc.hbg.com it has 0% commission on all trades on the platform.

tell me what you think
The website you even just shared supports only 2 African currencies for OTC buy and Sell. That's the Nigerian Naira and South African Rand. How ironical.
To you does this really look good for Africa? A continent with 50+ countries?
5607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this the beginning of the arrival of a bull run? on: February 18, 2019, 02:54:05 PM
I still doubt it though I would want it to happen... this bear market can even take 2 to 3 years before we see a major bull run. What I think is going to happen is BTC price may reach close to $4000 on Wednesday before dropping back to the 3500-3600 zone by weekend.

Let watch and see what happens  Smiley

As soon as I modify the look to make it look different, I will share my epitaph.
Mainly I did not have to write the entire page from the beginning.

Judging from your account rank and posting history, it's a no-brainer that you are the same scammer trying to trick people in buying your fake scripts or whatever is in there
5610  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitbook Launches Online Gambling and Betting Platform on: February 18, 2019, 02:03:20 PM
If you are talking about Bitbook gambling this site is very well known in 2018,
Being a 2018 website doesn't stop them from being scammers. Scammers are looking for new smarter ways of scamming, and so we should also think a step ahead before investing or using their websites.

Account creation so scammers, spam bots is really far too easy in this forum.
5612  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitBook.ag is Scam. Please Keep Off. on: February 18, 2019, 04:37:20 AM
If they want to air out then just post in the accusation thread since this was already posted there. And so many people can also read their insights and give opinions. Just lock this thread anyway, it's being redundant.
It has already been done. However, the scammers have taken it up to themselves and decided to even post new threads here with new untagged profiles, so any unsuspecting user could easy fall for the trap.
And I don't think it's necessary to lock the thread. The main purpose becomes meaningless.

If you don't like the thread just ignore it.

5614  Other / Beginners & Help / A Simplified approach on how to create an EOS Address from Scratch on: February 18, 2019, 04:07:32 AM
Creating a wallet address on EOS blockchain can be so challenging and technical to someone who is new to how the platform operates. I experienced the same problem, and so I made this topic as it might help out to new users like the creator of this Post. I am going to walk you through an easier process I used yet most people don't know about it. All you require is an android or iOS mobile device.

INTRODUCTORY SUMMARY

EOS utilizes an account system with a resource staking mode, hence any actions executed on the EOS blockchain consumes resources, including the creation of EOS accounts.
Unlike what we see in other blockchains like Ethereum where a small percentage of ether is used as gas fee to run a transaction or Bitcoin where you have to pay a few sats as miner fee for the transaction. In EOS platform, you have to stake a given amount of EOS to be able to use different services on the platform such as transactions, account creation, contract creation etc.

EOS BLOCKCHAIN RESOURCES

1. RAM
This is necessary for storage of data on the blockchain and must be bought. You are provided a fixed number of bytes of storage based on RAM market price at that time. The price automatically adjusts up and down with buying and selling action. If you decide release storage, you can sell RAM back to recover your EOS at its market price at that time.

2. Network Bandwidth (NET)
This is measured as your average consumption in bytes over the last 3 days. Net bandwidth is temporarily consumed every time you send an action or transaction but decreases over time returning to 0. The more tokens you stake for net bandwidth the more you get to use. You can unstake at any time to reclaim your EOS tokens.

3. CPU Bandwidth (CPU)
This is measured as your average consumption in microseconds over the last 3 days. CPU bandwidth is temporarily consumed when you send an action or transaction but decreases over time returning to 0. The longer your transaction runs, the more CPU bandwidth it will consume. You can unstake at any time to reclaim your EOS tokens.

ACCOUNT CREATION.

To complete the EOS account creation process, another EOS wallet with sufficient EOS is required to pay for the required resource. Which is not possible at times if you are a first time user as you won’t be having any other EOS wallet.
To solve this, our account creation method will be through self-registration by making payment through ETH.

REQUIREMENTS
     • Mobile device (iOS or Android)
    • Ethereum Wallet address with sufficient Ether in it (ETH worth at-least 2 USD can do)
    • Imtoken App 2.0 (Multiple Chain Wallet Version)

STEPS
     1. Download Imtoken 2.0 (Multiple chain wallet). Get the links from the official website https://token.im/download

    2. Once you have downloaded the app and installed it, Import your address which has some ether balance into the app.

    3. Proceed to the wallet management page by clicking on the top of your app marked by a red rectangle in the screenshot and then click on “Select an EOS account”

    4. After, click “Register for an EOS account” to go to the registration page.
The owner key and active key will be displayed at the registration page, please input the desired EOS account name (12 characters consisting of only a-z and 1-5).

    5. The desired method of registration in this case is Self-registration through payment with ETH. So you simply click on the blue button (Register EOS Account) and you will be brought to the confirmation page with the required ETH amount. Click “Next” and enter the wallet password to complete the account creation.

That marks the final step of account creation.

Please note that in order to use the account for transactions without any inconvenience of running out of RAM, CPU and NET resources, You will need to send in more EOS to your newly created account and stake it for more resources power. You can unstake your EOS anytime you need it(it takes 72 hours to be available in your account)

After creation, you are free to import your wallet in any of the famous EOS wallets such as;
- Scatter
- MEET.ONE
- EOSlynx
- SimplEOS
- Token Pocket

To defend fraud and rubbish?
Take your rubbish and scam elsewhere, we don't need it in Bitcointalk.

Offers are kinda too good to be true.
Yup, an off the old say goes, "If it's too good to be true, then it's probably scam"

Scammers are trying various ways of being smarter, but we shall also up our game and keep exposing them so that at-least someone who does a small research about their platforms will find this scam alerts and accusations floating allover the web before investing in them.

Sometimes virus total takes a while before the results can actually become accurate and  malware is not the only concern.
How sure am i that the script is actually working (it could just be a bunch of zipped useless files) Grin

That should be an obvious red flag.
You see a brand-new account which is a few hours old trying to share some links or sell something, just ignore or act with caution. But most of these accounts break the rules anyway through spamming and so many other crimes. So I do report to the mods as much as I can
5619  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Portfolio apps on: February 17, 2019, 11:34:24 PM
- Emphasis on desktop version should be good. Most of these apps are limited to mobile apps.
- Major price drop or price rise push notifications (should be able to send an automatic alert if there is a sudden drop in price in your portfolio by some percentage maybe a 3% sudden drop or rose)
- Increase API support for more exchanges... Bituniverse app currently has support for 15 major exchanges.
Am okay with most of your suggestions

Thanks for bringing this kind of scammy activity into attention. This will help a couple of forum users from falling for such tricks... I usually don't take people who entirely use Telegram for business without me getting to know their bitcointalk profiles seriously.
