5601  Other / Meta / Re: Script to Change Bitcointalk Background Color on: December 21, 2019, 09:55:14 AM
It is great that we know alternative background colors. But I am just considering a better theme or background color. Those two pictures above seem not better than the default one. I'm not trying to underestimate someone's work. I just deliver my opinion honestly, buddy.

*Choose the color that is friendly to our eyes. Comfort is the main point, then color art.  Wink
5602  Economy / Economics / Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: December 21, 2019, 08:54:17 AM
- First halving, on November 2012 : Bitcoin increased from $11 to $1,100 in 2013 (one year later)
- Second halving, on July 2016 : Bitcoin increased from $600 to $20,000 in 2017 (one year later)
- Third halving, on May 2020 : Bitcoin increased from $6,000-$8,000 to $??? in 2021 (one year later)

We all know based on the historical data, Bitcoin should increase more than $20,000 in 2021. The first and second halving have proven significant moves on Bitcoin values. So, it makes sense if we believe that in 2021 will be another great year for Bitcoin.

However, who knows about it. No guarantee for the rising of Bitcoin value. Since Bitcoin is decentralized and no authority to have the responsibility, a bad scenario may happen to break off our expectations. So, how if there is no significant move on Bitcoin price in the upcoming halving? What is your plan as a Bitcoin holder?

- Disappointed and directly trade all holding Bitcoins.
- Keep holding until the next rising.
- No idea. I will think and replan later.
- Others (Write down on your reply).

*Sorry if this topic was already discussed before. I've used the search button and find out no result.
5603  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Motivation BITCOIN4X] From Newbi To Senior Member - Self Made !!! on: December 21, 2019, 12:58:49 AM
You did awesome efforts, buddy. Even if my account is older than yours, but you can step on a higher level than me. Of course, it is because of your dedication, strong belief, serious efforts, and constant attempts.

I would like to agree with your statement above about something that we must realize :
-snip-
But I began to realize that, without efforts to improve my quality, expand knowledge that could be implemented in the post, I would never be promoted to the next rank.
-snip-

Unfortunately, I'm just aware of it. But I think it is not too late for me. I believe that I also can reach what you and others can achieve.
Thanks for the inspiring history above. Good luck to us. Smiley
5604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who holds the most bitcoins? on: December 20, 2019, 11:34:36 PM
Me.  I own the most bitcoins.  Prove me wrong?
Nice joke. It is probably wrong. You will be quite busy to trade your Bitcoin if you have the most. I've checked your post history, your current posts were not in economics or trading discussion, so it means you are not monitoring the market trends. This makes me doubt that you are one of the people holding the most Bitcoin.

However, I think your intention is to make us aware that no one knows who is holding the most Bitcoins. Am I wrong?   Smiley
5605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moneygram and Ripple on: December 20, 2019, 11:14:30 PM
It's because they use the technology of Ripple so what they do have to say? of course, they'll tell good things about it.
Indeed. There is always a reason behind a surprising statement from a popular person like MoneyGram CEO. Since they are using Ripple technology, we can assume it is a bit subjective.  Cheesy But yes, we shouldn't claim that there is no chance for Ripple to be a global payment. Nothing impossible as long as Ripple is supported by many banks.

It's a useful thread, friend. It should be very helpful for lower rank members like me. Spammy posts make everything hard to be merited and rank up. The only way to improve the level is by making quality posts. Anyway, I have also little tips to make better posts and avoid being called by spam posts. Even if I'm also still trying to apply it, but why don't to share it.  Cheesy

5608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price pump to $20k dollars next year? on: December 20, 2019, 11:00:45 AM
Let's see the historical data:
- First halving, on November 2012 : Bitcoin increased from $11 to $1,100 in 2013 (one year later)
- Second halving, on July 2016 : Bitcoin increased from $600 to $20,000 in 2017 (one year later)
- Third halving, on May 2020 : Bitcoin increased from $6,000-$8,000 to $??? in 2021 (one year later)

Based on historical data, the maximum rate of BTC in 2021 (not in 2020) should be more than $20,000 (ATH in the second halving).
However, there is no guarantee, mate.  Wink

5610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Any Crypto Question - A Thread By a 6-Year Crypto Vet on: December 19, 2019, 11:40:25 PM
I've been active within crypto, nearing 6 years now.
6 years is a long time enough and of course, you have experienced various cryptocurrency conditions ranging from how crypto is still underestimated to the bull market and now the bear market. Hopefully, I can also get many experiences and knowledge here.

I invite you and anyone to ask any question pertaining to cryptocurrency and blockchain.
I want to ask for your opinion,
The latest news is that Coinfloor will delist all altcoins including ETH and BCH, and they stand for Bitcoin only. The reason is that Bitcoin is the only proven cryptocurrency.
What do you think about this decision?
Is the Bitcoin-only that has been proven? For, I think that so far, ETH is proven enough and it has been used in many transactions with many benefits.

5611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some big things to watch for in 2020 on: December 19, 2019, 11:07:23 PM
You forgot to add to the list John McAfee 2020 end of year's show on national television. Or the show will be aired only in January 2021?
I don't trust John McAfee, so I just ignore him from the list. John McAfee sometimes speaks excessively and don't consider realistic or not. Personally, I don't think to watch for McAfee's innovation in 2020.  Grin  But everybody can add him to their list to watch for in 2020. It's okay, no problem.

5615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This just happened after Bakkt CEO becomes US senator! on: December 18, 2019, 11:59:15 PM
In my view, when Bakkt CEO is a US senator already, it should have two possibilities.
1. She can be a good negotiator for crypto/Bitcoin adoption, or
2. She will be sued to fight Bitcoin/crypto as she is a part of the trump government.

Let's see what will happen. I think we don't need to expect too much.
5616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Is Key to the Mass Adoption of Crypto on: December 18, 2019, 11:46:55 PM
Crypto is suitable to be adopted in the gaming sector. Those gamers play almost every minute, every day. Developers can make crypto coins as the supporting feature in their games. We have already seen many examples on gambling or betting. Gamblers take advantage by using crypto coins. So, it should work as well for players.
5617  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: December 18, 2019, 01:13:01 AM
I think it is no problem if you have an idea to convert some BTC to Gold. It means you want to divesify your assets, and make sure not to expect everything in a single investment only. It is normal and it is your own assets, so everything depends on you. But I must critize for people that stated Bitcoin investment has no good future. They are not sure about it but why they are here! lol
5618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is very bad for the European crypto community! on: December 18, 2019, 12:59:25 AM
Bitcoin will be getting a LOT of bad news, this is just the beginning !!!
Don't judge without strong evidences. You seems like spreading FUDs if you comment like this. If you know much about the future Bitcoin, let us know what you already learned.

-snip- Just look price collapses as we are seeing now, -snip-
It already happended many times. The big declines in price mustn't the evidence of bad Bitcoin future. How long have you worked in crypto space?

-snip- I wonder how long it takes for people here to realize things are not going to work out like they think...
So, what is your suggestion exatcly? Leave/quit from Bitcoin/crypto investment now?

5620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins delist and Bitcoin only on: December 17, 2019, 11:39:56 PM
The CEO of Coinfloor says that Bitcoin is the only one crypto proven. Well, this may not be strange to say this. For, many altcoins fall and cannot maintain their price, moreover when BTC is down or even up.
However, what I'm still confused about is why they also delisted two biggest altcoins (ETH and BCH). In my opinion, those two altcoins are proven and promising enough for their holders.
