There is no way this Satoshi is the creator of bitcoin. The real Satoshi has great command of the English language. This individual clearly does not. The bitcoin white paper and hundreds of communications by Satoshi contrast profoundly with the poorly written items accredited to this individual. This is an epic Fail
How so? This old guy got his name dragged through mud by the mainstream, car chased, harassed at his home, and life generally put in danger by this Newsweek revelation. If that Newsweek article is correct in that "this" Satoshi is in financial and health ruin, why not help a fellow human being in need. Worst case this shows the humanitarian and fund raising aspect of Bitcoin. This is a positive thing and paints Bitcoin in a positive light, instead of all the negative news. This is a win win for the Bitcoin community no matter what.

ChuckBuck,
We usually don't discuss prices but let's do a quick math. As I mentioned before, Europe is our main market. In Europe the average VAT rate is 20% and Customs Taxes for Electronic Hardware from Outside EU is 7%.
Your price per TH: $4200.00. Your price per TH after Customs Taxes and VAT: $5392.00. Our price per TH: $5166.00 (Our unit has 1.2TH/s+)
Warranty: We offer 12 Months, they offer 6 months. Cooling: We have Liquid Cooling, they have Air Flow Cooling.
And we can continue but I think that enough explanations were exposed here.
Please don't take this the wrong way but we don't discuss prices usually and we will not do it anymore. Every person has the right to choose the best offer that fits him best.
Thank you!
No problem, thanks for the explanation. Just trying to make sense of everything is all. Luckily I don't have to deal with VAT in the US, but appreciate you breaking it down for my fellow EU Bitcoiners.

So everyone thinks scam.
They use Coindesk plugin check out - when I asked how reputable are they - they said we have to be verified by Coindesk to use that service.
I was interested in the Cointerra machine - so I wrote to Cointerra about them to see what they would say...
Still waiting to hear back.
Regards Estelle
Don't bother. Clear scam is clear scam. Just order a few Ants: https://www.bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140107162747992Ce5uBuxW06D6they're only $700 each and arrive in a couple days.

Why so much ($6200) for this miner?
China has multiple 1 TH/s+ miners (Lightning, JT Miner, Dragon 1 T) for $5000 USD.
We have different advantages especially for European clients like No Customs Taxes, no VAT and 1 Year full Warranty. Europe is our main market. Thank You! This one is $2000 USD less at $4200: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=500969.0

To be honest, I love this guy. To be, he doesn't look like he's off his rocker. If anybody decides to create a Darian Coin, please send this guy $50K USD one way or another to help with any hardships he's had or since has encountered. That's already underway thanks to Andreas Antonopolous: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=505581.0

So first Satoshi photobombed Ellen's selfie, then he crashed Twitter. Makes sense!

It appears www.bitcoinultra.co.uk is back but very slow. Fellow members, correct me if I'm wrong, but using http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator and entering the $3200 price, switching the difficulty to 20%, and putting the 750 GH/s and 700W plus $185 for shipping to US and $100 for PSU...this thing won't ever ever come even close to ROI starting in April. Doesn't compute to me.

It's him.
He's a flawed human being, but who amongst us is perfect. His personal life is complex and he's probably hated by several people in his family, namely his brothers.
His one perfect idea though....brilliant and groundbreaking!
His story reminds me of the movie "A Beautiful Mind", the story of John Nash. Genius yet very flawed. No, Satoshi doesn't have schizoprenia, but he does seem to have social illness, paranoia, and very real heart conditions. Doesn't seem like he'll get to enjoy his prized idea for too long.

Why would we have to raise funds for someone that over $400 million in Bitcoins?
He can afford a tank, chopper, and a small militia for that amount.
No, he can't because if he uses even one of those BTC (if it is really him) then he will make things clear that he is Satoshi. But if he is Satoshi, which looks very possible, he can figure out a way to do it anonymously(he is Satoshi for God's sake) without bringing attention to himself. The guy (if it's him) created the dang protocol and is a cryptographic genius, but can't send a payment without detection??? Believe me, if it were him, he'd figure it out.

Man, I'm kinda disappointed to be perfectly honest.
I was still clinging to the idea, that Satoshi Nakamoto was a pseudonym like Anonymous or any crew of hackers.
I don't agree with putting his family, house, and personal picture on blast for the whole world to see.
I guess anything for page hits and views.
That said, if the article is kinda true, he(Satoshi) seemed like a real dickhead. Hording all those coins and not even helping his family or kids out. His own brother calls him "Asshole", but that's only if this article is true.
Oh well, Bitcoin is out of Dorian S. Nakamoto's hands now and in the core developers. He planted the seeds, it's up to them and us to grow it!

You post like crazy for the last couple weeks news sometimes trivial ones, but don't even bother posting the biggest Bitcoin news of the year???
Satoshi Nakamoto just got revealed by Newsweek.

Hello, so can anybody exactly tell me, when blackarrow will be shipped? My miner had to be shipped on March 20th, but as I know it was delayed. So when I for it to get shipped?
Read through this thread longer. Black Arrow is delayed until May. Both batch 1 and 2s shipped 1st and 2 week of May (supposedly).

Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to the mining world but have been studying up on bitcoins for the past few months. Now i know there are profit calculators that show solo mining profit calculations, but are there any that give an estimate for pooled mining profits?
Thank you,
Happy Mining
Sure, this one works: http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculatorEnter the mining pool fee at the top. Good luck!

Sad story, but that's entry level mining = losing money...
Far less than a year and already lost 12BTC, the remaining ~1BTC will get you absolutely nowhere. In another 6 months and another hardware regeneration cycle, the balance will be much closer to zero, with a set of nearly useless hardware in the poor guy's possession.
That original 13BTC was all you ever needed & wanted (but I understand the hobbyist motives of mining, I still do it for myself with some 13GH/s, although they'll go on sale next week when I quit mining)
This. 12 BTC down the drain makes me sad for the OP. Should've at least went down swinging with some Antminer S1s....

The highlight being Zeroblock would now have a realtime Orderbook: IMO better than announcing Blockchain.com! Either way, it doesn't real register on the richter scale I guess.
