5601  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 14, 2020, 09:46:20 PM
It's hard to tell how many people has fallen under the influence of panic selling. I don't think there is any data about that but it would be very interesting to see the statistics.
Many people just don't have enough patience to wait for price to recover and can't control their emotions, very often under influence of other who started to panic or fake news. I doubt that we would ever be able to avoid that, there will always be unexperienced users who will panic.

Unfortunately, most markets are manipulated by whales, which then triggers an bot trading avalanche. And whales almost never react emotionally or under the influence of panic selling but with a plan. Do you think the crypto market coincides with the stock market by accident? As I see it, the whales probably estimated that it was a good time to start a market drop and take their profits to re-enter at much lower prices.
5602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still a Safe Haven, haters aren't saying the truth. on: March 14, 2020, 09:32:18 PM

ASSUMING that this is going to have a great outcome is a special kind of stupid 🙉🙉🙉

Hard Facts

It will always be a great outcome for someone. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner. There has to be losers. This is a zero sum game, remember? For every seller there must be a buyer on the other side. So, one of the two will profit in the end.
5603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 14, 2020, 06:45:39 PM
Thanks to everyone.. I really appreciate your time and responses

What assets are you holding, if we may know?
Personally, I prefer trading mainly because of the higher yield. But it takes a lot of effort and time. Learning is also part of the process.
5604  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Theymos we need moderator again in Croatian local board on: March 14, 2020, 09:01:34 AM
Agreed with @Trofo

At the moment, anything you want to write has to go into main section, and is by default if it's not bitcoin related, it's off topic. As such, it's always at risk of being reported and deleted by global mod.
It would really be nice to have someone to bring order into chaos (Anakin?) and open one or two more subsections.

I just took a quick look. Almost all local boards have 'Off-topic' or 'General Discusion' sections. I think it's time to bring some order into the Croatian subforum, and a moderator would certainly be welcome there. I support all suggested members.
5605  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [MAJOR SCAM] MTCore - latest project of a well known scammer! on: March 13, 2020, 05:50:28 PM
Nice research @Rikafip! Fortunately, I've never heard of USI Tech and Bidrace (I'm relatively young here), but every Ponzi needs to be labeled with its real name, which is SCAM.
I'm supporting Flag, as well.

Very strange topic. I'm new, but I know that there is no pay for messages here. Moreover, I am scared to start writing here, they say you guys don't like beginners..

No, no, no! That's not true.
We don't like scammers, spammers, cheaters, fraudsters, hoaxers, trols, trust and merit abusers, account farmers, account sellers, bots, shills, sockpuppets, beggars, alt accounts, ban evaders, plagiarists... and some guy who claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto but whose name I forgot.

So, if you don't find yourself in any of these categories, you have no reason to be scared. This is actually a very friendly community!  Grin

P.S. - If I left anyone out, please don't be offended, there are just too many of you... Wink

5612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on: March 12, 2020, 06:40:45 PM
What? Where have you seen that please? Do you have a link about that?
They could easily organize it without public or very few public. Eurovision doesn't need all this public and journalists. It's a TV show.

I'm just saying that there are currently concerns that the ESC might actually be canceled. Information about this can be read on various Dutch media portals.
The reason: An employee of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) tested positive for the corona virus in Geneva last week.

5613  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is payment received from the forum? on: March 12, 2020, 05:04:47 PM
In this BitcoinTalk forum I do not know much about new members and many of the forums.  How many posts can be posted daily in this forum, and how much is Satoshi paid per post?  How to withdraw the payments made from this forum?  Please help me with this information and thank all the members.

BitcoinTalk is not pay-to-post forum. Who told you this?

LOL It's really scary to look at the market's decline  Embarrassed Everything went down, most of our predictions were wrong  Embarrassed I wonder where the money has gone this time  Huh

Probably into cold hard cash. When in fear, people tend to turn to the most basic medium of exchange.

5618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on: March 11, 2020, 07:40:08 PM
If this Corona virus keeps on spreading like it does, especially in the Netherlands, I fear it might have some effect on the ESC as well. Lets hope the peak is reached soon and everything gets more under control afterwards.

If the situation continues to develop at this pace, it seems that there will be no ESC. According to the Dutch virologist, all big events are likely to be canceled.
The ESC may still be held, however, in delayed dates.
5619  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcasino.io — Predict the bitcoin price = WIN 0.025 BTC 💜 on: March 11, 2020, 06:31:24 PM
Hey, if some guy is going to make the very same 8020 prediction as me, then I want to change my first prediction to 8019.

I don't think you're allowed to change your prediction. I guess Bitcasino will determine the winner on a first come, first served basis.

on what time of day do u verify the predictions ? (cause btc price change by the minute)

The winner will be decided based on the Bitcoin opening price listed at Bitstamp on March 13th, 12:00 (GMT).

5620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [ANN] COINTOBANKS: Minings, Holding & Investment Platform ✅✅ on: March 10, 2020, 07:49:06 PM
With plagiarized whitepaper, I believe cointobanks are also using fake images for their team. Clearly the images are badly photoshoped so I'm just wondering for what reason?

The coin is forked and uses DASH technology.
Inheriting all the features of DASH, during the implementation of the project, we continue to develop LTP's technology into separate crypto, technology, and documents that will update as soon as possible

Also, @david121 who is 'we'? Because in the ANN post you stated that you are not associated with the project in any matter. So get your facts straight and stop being contradictory!
