Keep'em. So in 2 years u won't commit suicide due to loss of 100.000 USD worth bytecoins. Not gonna happen. Happy to put money where my mouth is.

So I am guessing this is still SHA256 hash alg?
If so, uber fail on Maria's part.
ASICs will destroy this chain.
Because ASICs are totally going to stop mining BTC and mine some useless coin.. BTW, ASIC-proof is a bad thing.

Please post an address for where your winnings should be sent to.
Bytecoin shows the from address as unknown and so does ABE.

Is difficulty generated the same way it is for bitcoin?

Doubtful considering that he ran already. And took his BAKEWELL asset with him.

Lol, good luck getting a botnet with i5 or better CPUs. Most of the GPUs are crap too.
Do you have any sockpuppets on bitcointalk? Seems like you slipped.

Why the hell does Bitcointalk.org go down all the time. I just typed up a long response and clicked submit, and got the "cannot be displayed page" AGAIN. I then click back and it doesn't save my message, ughh To sum it up, there's a way to track a BTC address to see where they have sent to. That's the closest you'll get to catching him. Maybe he'll have an account with a lot of info attached to one of those sites or places he's sent the BTC to though, but it'd be a long shot. I don't think a scammer/thief is going to send the coins to something like "1TimWheat29c72fjs9 ...". Currently coins are not touched so..

Whoever got scammed, you're seriously going to sit back and watch him take you for thousands of dollars? If that were me I'd take it into my own hands.
Kinda hard when you live in pretty much the opposite end of the planet? I'm not traveling to Canada for a minimal chance at getting the BTC back. If you're in Canada and are near where he is, and think you might be able to collect, send me a PM and we'll work something out.

Where can I find those shares?
PTs on BitFunder and BTCT.Co You can also buy shares from the auctions section on this forum.

For example, Litecoin is currently "ASIC-proof" ..
What's so good about being "ASIC-proof"? It just makes it a safe haven for bot-net operators, doesn't it? Not that I would care, just wondering. And a safe haven for governments to flip processing power to 51% instead of having to purchase or develop dedicated equipment. ASIC-Proof is a downside.

Unfortunately, it's quite similar with lending on the forums - unless you have collateral.
A borrower who is going to scam is going to scam, regardless of which platform was used. It's true that BTCJAM attracts people who tends to scam more, but they'd scam regardless.
The disincentive to scam on btcjam is lower through. On the forums, you'd get your ID released. On BTCJAM? Not much.
