5601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 30, 2019, 08:25:09 PM
what I have realized that experienced players believe in superstitions when compared to newbies. I have shared the table with some people doing various stuff in order to get luck on their side. Doubling the bet after 3 consecutive losses, tapping ring on the table for good luck, not playing on 13th and also I consider Beginner's luck as one superstition that I am sure most of us have experienced ourselves.
Yes, those things that you've mentioned are common superstitions for gamblers. The beginners luck and the 13th.
I also believe in beginners luck because it happened many times to the people that I know but not with crypto gambling. But with 13th, I don't believe on it although this is a very popular belief that can endanger someone and eventually put himself into a very unlucky situation.
5602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: October 30, 2019, 07:57:24 PM
There are several ways to check authenticity of any gambling site for scams. First and foremost , use known gamble sites to play your games. You can also check reviews and forums to know more about sites and possible scams. At last , you can deposit little amount, if you get the profit back then congrats. If not , then you have found one of many scam sites and maybe you can report in the forum to help others.
Also, don't be gullible with the reviews site, if the website is sort of new and you understands that it's not worthy to trust, don't continue. And look for somewhere else that you can trust with those reviews because some of them might be forced to make those reviews with a small reward. But if you are okay with that and depositing a little amount just to try it out, this is your choice. I wouldn't proceed without any further reviews with real experiences.
5603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 32 ETH for staking?! on: October 29, 2019, 11:58:30 PM
I'm interested with that topic and actually researched about them before. I've read that there's like a pool where you can join with any amount of ETH just to complete that 32 ETH as minimum requirement for staking.
I wholly forgot that discussion but it's somewhat like that, since we are not yet onto that point but I think some devs will do something like that to offer for smaller holders that wants to stake their ETHs.
5604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 29, 2019, 11:34:01 PM
I've noticed in general, that most speculations are based on that few games played by each team.

Example:
Clipper defeats Lakers - Clippers is more dominant and likely to be a champ this season.
Warriors with a 0-2 start - Warriors are now done.
Brooklyn Nets - Kyrie Irving can't carry the whole team (even though their 2 losses is just behind by 1, almost a 3-0 good start)

You nailed it brother. Most of the speculators are like that and base the finals speculation on the last and current performance of a team. It isn't enough if that's the only basis and the league is still on its way far from the play offs. But we can't blame the others for being like that, honestly I'm also like that whenever I've watched a great performance of a team that I like and even those teams that I don't like. As long as the performance is impressive.
5605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Initial Model Offering(IMO) replace Initial Exchange Offering(IEO)? on: October 29, 2019, 11:15:38 PM
This is another new idea which can be the replacement of IEO whenever the time has come and nobody invests there anymore.
Same as the ICO when most investors are no longer trusting the scheme that's why when an IEO came out, everyone rushed to invest on it and took profit. I'll read more about this idea.
5606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 29, 2019, 10:51:55 PM
Some bounty managers and hunters can feel this post. I know that many of you guys have been struggling to get into a legit project that pays its participants but so far, almost most of them aren't really paying anymore. It's also hard on the managers part to look for the legit ones but taking a break is good if everything isn't favorable anymore to you. Go to the places that you have never been before and relax, pamper yourself as everyone deserves to have a vacation.
5607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency? on: October 29, 2019, 10:28:49 PM
This post is an advertisement post, look at the other suggestion of op and his name too. There's even a whitepaper and link for that unknown token and the others, they don't even have link to be clicked.

I do not understand the procedure for granting a loan. Do you have to provide your personal information? If so then after that you and all your wallets will be in danger. Why do I need to take money from strangers and risk my anonymity? If personal data is not needed, who will protect the borrower?
There's lending in the forum and all you have to do is to be trusted and have a collateral, if you don't pass on any of the two, you will be declined. You are a senior member and I think you have been familiar with that process.
5608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: October 29, 2019, 10:10:21 PM
Ethereum again for me. I don't have anything to say about the other altcoins but it's what I think to be the most preferred altcoin for this year. BCH and Ripple is a no for me and for obvious reasons, I think everyone is very aware of that.

5610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: October 27, 2019, 09:36:48 PM
I have discussed with several big gamblers several times, it is true that they have almost no other business and consider this a profession.

they have been rich from the start and gambled every day just to warm up by gathering a small profit estimate. they are not as complicated as imagined because they only practice for bigger targets in monthly tournaments, in a month it can be 2-3x special events. Their principle is only one, a strong belief to at least enter the top 5 winners.
So that's what most of them are aiming whenever they will enter huge prize tournaments? that principle isn't so high but it seems stable if they will only aim for that goal. About the small daily profits that they do, I think that from that kind of strategy, they really are very disciplined as a gambler making it as their entire career.
5611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: October 27, 2019, 08:02:30 PM
Just imagine if you bought Bitcoin at $7,400 at that time of my last post. And you actually got to sell it at $10,500! That's an extra $3,100 for you in just one day! Just one day! It was an "oh my God" moment for Bitcoin.  Cool
But not everyone that we're telling to buy at the dip are really buying. Good for those who listened to those suggestions that it's okay to buy during the dip and now it's gonna be your decision time whether to sell for the short term profit you've made or you want to continue it for long term. The bad days are gone now, hopefully. And we just have to wait until everything goes back to the usual process of looking into the bull market.
5612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Inviting Do Away With The Investment Part First on: October 27, 2019, 07:12:47 PM
I don't tell and describe cryptocurrencies to them as an investment if someone asks me about it. I'm giving those basics that we should tell about crypto's as OP told. But if the person you are talking to is really interested about the investment part.
You just have to clear about the risk and volatility of it.
5613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 26, 2019, 09:13:16 PM
Sports betting is one portfolio of betting where you can form few parameters to predict and judge your decisions on them. When it comes to such betting, picking on your sport and not getting your hands everywhere is one way to start. Follow your sports in the list, stay updated with news, articles and forums . Such practices would help you predict the game you are betting on, make a vice decision and be profitable. May the force be with you !
The bold part is what most beginners in sportsbetting shall do. You can maintain yourself to be a nobody while betting in sports but if you want to get the best results of your bets, you need to determine on what sports you really love to watch and follow. And when you're in the right sports, you can easily make judgment from team to team and with upcoming games. Although no one is perfect with it and unexpected things shall come but in that way, you can increase your possibility to win.
5614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Zuckerberg & Libra Have to do With The Crypto Market? How Low Will BTC Goes on: October 26, 2019, 08:39:20 PM
They all think that most investors and holders will turn their faces to Libra because it is 'promising' and probably that's why they are blaming Mark for that project. Didn't they've understood that Libra's token is going to be a stable coin? means no fluctuation just like Tether and they can also print as many as they want. If there will be a pair for Libra/Bitcoin for most exchanges it will be listed then let's expect that there will be an effect but until now, it hasn't been launched so chillout.
5615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 26, 2019, 07:43:44 PM
Houston Rockets vs New Orleans Pelicans, with the duo James Harden and Westbrook Houston became strong and can win the NBA title, well it's will be an easy game for the Rockets. I will bet for them to win this game.
They've lost against Bucks so it's likely that they are hungry this time and wants to take one win from their next match. And this could be with the Pelicans but do you think that these boys will simply allow themselves to be dominated by the Rockets?
We will see it but this is an exciting game and I also think that Rockets will show a great performance.
5616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 26, 2019, 12:36:54 PM
People get scammed easily because some people are extremely lazy and don't  want to work to get money. Laziness alongside greediness  makes people follow the wrong source  just because the offer to be given is of huge amount and the amount to be invested is little.
Dude this is legit. Because of their laziness, they want to earn easily and want to invest with those investment scams that tells them that they have guaranteed profit. But we all understand that when an investment scheme which isn't known promises an amount of return, be scared of it. A start up project is still on the sideways of their business and there's no way for them to give the returns of their investors with promised amounts.
5617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices of Bitcoin and Altcoin are down now ...? on: October 25, 2019, 12:08:04 PM
It is impossible to predict the prices of altcoins and which we are seeing the downturn of an altcoin is continuing. Which we don't see any positive signs in the market about how long it is going to take to recover the prices. With this Bitcoin fluctuation, it is impossible to predict the prices.
Yes, even for the price prediction of bitcoin, it's difficult to tell an accurate prediction for it. That's why many have predicted the price of it before but majority have failed with their predictions but there were few that were almost correct but considerably good and right with their guesses. Those investors that are complaining on how bad this market is knowing that they've held most with altcoins didn't realize that they should fix their positions and take bitcoin with them.
5618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: October 25, 2019, 11:03:36 AM
investment wherever there will never be a guarantee of profits, everything must have a risk of loss that can occur at any time without your knowledge, and when you make an investment in cryptocurrency you must be able to accept that the cryptocurrency price movements do not always go up, certainly one day it will also happen very long price reduction.
You've said it right. All investments doesn't guarantee profit as long as it's coming from an established company that's giving you dividends to earn. Well that's a low risk type of investment and also including the government bonds. The root of being safe investing to crypto is by simply educating yourself. Once you are aware of the sides of it, the pros and cons, the potential scams and people that you should avoid involved to a project, you can protect yourself by avoiding them.
5619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: October 25, 2019, 10:30:50 AM
Yeah it looks going for more even to $7000 but this could also be the bottom this time. No one has the clue if there will be more dip or this is the actual price that we should at least expect to be the last support. Buy if you want, no one stops you from buying at any price you desire.
As long as it's bitcoin, you are in good hands and just determine when you want to sell and get tired of it.

Felt disappointed with whats happening right now. I just received btc payment from a friend and forgot to convert to our local fiat. and the next day value is dropped. Though its an opportunity to buy at a lower price, but I am on wrong timing. I Hope it got lower and lower so that I can add more btc  for btc averaging.
Don't be disappointed, we always get to see this situation and you must be courageous as you stay on holding bitcoin. That's very unfortunate for you that you haven't sold it earlier but that would be a lesson for you. Whenever you receive payment and you need the cash already, sell it. But if you don't have any plan of selling it, keep it and hold it until you need the cash on hand. I don't wish for it to go lower, I want to see the recovery period.
5620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cointelegraph's Facebook account was actually blocked on: October 25, 2019, 09:52:48 AM
That page is big for cointelegraph. Having 700k likes and followers, they won't allow that to vanish without any reasons. Welp, I agree that there's nothing to discuss about it anymore. For whatever reasons did the facebook management blocked their page, it's no longer our jobs to know it. They have alternative social media pages that we can follow like their twitter and the main website. It's good that they are into different platforms so whenever they will meet this situation again, their followers can look into the other social medias they handle.
