^  That post should be I got another 'free' 10 bucks for you, not 'from'.  Grin  But I think you got the point.

So I guess we'll see what's gonna happen around May..?

That 10 bucks is mine already Wink

The Premier League's new 'plan to finish the season': Start again on June 1, play all of the matches in just SIX weeks and begin the 2020-21 campaign in early August to stave off financial disaster

Okok...  Can we wait until the first matches are played?  I'll pay you then.  You just never know..  I don't trust anything I read right now.  At first I really thought this whole thing was gonna over in a couple weeks or so.  But now...  Dunno.

Just in case you guys are interested the second Starcraft/Broodwar ASL 9 semi final match is live right now.  Yeah...  That really old game.  Apparently it still has a solid following in South Korea.

It would allow Spurs to improve the team, they could buy 4 or 5 players.
If they ever manage to make Manchester united buy Harry Kane for this outrageous amount(200 mil)they better use it to good use in signing players. They have sold players in the past for very good amounts, like Gareth Bale; the players bought with the money didn't have too much impact when they came to spurs, but with Mou as manager now, I'm sure he will handpick the players he wants.

I thought Manchester City are also interested in signing Harry Kane?

Nope.  For 200m?  They should just make a bid for Mbappe.  But I don't think City are buying or gonna buy.  They'll be trading and be looking for nice deals under their current predicament...  And that's not including the after effects of the outbreak.

^  First of all I suck at betting, second I didn't think Liverpool would lose for the rest of their fixtures and third I think the season's gonna end as is with the current points.

And since I suck I think it's gonna be another from 10 bucks for DeathAngel.  Lolol.  Grin
5626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: April 12, 2020, 02:10:36 PM
^  Exactly.  It's gonna be pretty stagnant not just in football but everywhere.  It's also gonna take a while for the economy to get back to normal.  Prolly a year of recovery.
5627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 12, 2020, 02:06:25 PM
^  No way any club would spend 200m GBP on any player right after the outbreak.  We don't even know if the season will finish or not.  I think we'll see a more desperate Daniel Levy this time around.  Lol.

Not a bad idea really though my strongest period of esports betting was tied into the in game digital economy of items that each game allows trading in, so at that time I was allowed to bet items I didnt want to keep on the game outcome.   I would then sometimes arbitrage a crypto bet against those items so either way in the game outcome I got something I wanted over the possible loss of items I no longer wanted anyway.     Since selling digital game items had a tax to it (Valve), that made the betting industry massively buoyant as every player into the tens of millions had a possible interest and capital application to bet with, perfect market.
So I dont know that betting side is as strong now, some of this early easy usage was restricted and many sites I used dont exist any longer but esports is more popular then ever and is a massive growth sector so in terms of customers its worth a look.

There is a cross over between esports, digital items from games and then crypto trading.   Many sites trade game items and pay out in crypto and its quite feasible to then deposit crypto at a site that offers esports bets, its going to be a valid stream of revenue definitely with sports taking a knock from this virus for months till any cure or treatment is developed.

 🔜 🔜 🔜

Iiiinteresting...  So what is it?  Esports betting or some sort of crossover STT was talking about?  Wink

If you guys pull off something brilliant.  Expect more 'I've been scammed by FJ' posts itt.  Lolol.
5629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: April 11, 2020, 01:16:23 PM
I tried watching the game with Team Liquid vs some team on it and I found the game a bit slow...
Dota 2 average match duration is around 30 mins - 50 mins and you won't be able to enjoy it (whether you playing or watching) if you don't really know the details of the game.

Are there any other popular games out there?  Preferably with quicker pace.
Among all esports games? or just among MOBA games? Because Dota 2 is a MOBA game.

Any esport game.  I like playing Hearthstone from time to time and I used to play Starcraft as a kid.  That's a fun old game.  I was quite surprised to see there were some Starcraft lines being offered at Nitrogen.

Are those games popular in these parts?

Anybody wanna bet vs me?  I say the EPL won't return anymore and the FA will end the season as is with the current points.  10 bucks...  I won't accept anything less than 3 to 1.

I’m saying the season will get completed, give me some odds bruh!

Cheesy

I already did.  3 to 1.  My 10 for your 30...  But since I like you, let's do your 20 for my 10.  I just want a small bet going for fun.  Smiley

I’ll take those odds, it’s on!

Grin

Quoted and booked.  It's on!  Grin

Sorry cryptofrka, DeathAngel got dibs.  But let's do something next time.  Smiley

This is becoming sooo weird.  It's kinda becoming some sort of joke really..  I don't think I'll be even looking forward to it anymore.  Lol.

Edit:  On the other hand, it could get interesting...

I think I'll still watch it for the entertainment value.  Lolol.

Just wondering.  I know DOTA has like the biggest tourneys.  I tried watching the game with Team Liquid vs some team on it and I found the game a bit slow...  Are there any other popular games out there?  Preferably with quicker pace.

With mostly everybody on lockdown mode, I think FJ should start laying lines for esports imo.  Maybe even get some promotional game going behind it?

I'm not really that huge on esports but nothing else is really going on...  I'm open.

5637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 10, 2020, 02:25:42 PM
I told you I can't see this fight happening. It looks like it was pressure from ESPN/Disney execs for calling it off. He should just do this Fight Island thing himself if ESPN doesn't want in and stream it direct on the UFC fight pass. I'm sure that would be huge business for him. I could see a special fight like that attracting some big names as it will be the first of it's kind if it goes ahead.

I don't think he'll do anything without ESPN's 'ok'.  That would be a bad business move on his part.  The best move would be not to move.  Just stay put until all the bs is over.  We could see a flattening of the curve in a couple of weeks or so.

I hope...  Lol.

Edit:  If he does go for it...  Will the event be a sanctioned event?

Global pandemic reflects on the player value and product big lost. maybe this is coming to a realistic state because I think most players are overrated.
For example, Liverpool's team downgraded by 200+ million eur on player value or Man City by 250million, but is it, Sterling, really worth 160mill?

source: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/english-clubs-lose-over-euro-2-billion-alexander-arnold-devalued-less-significantly-than-de-bryune/view/news/358321

Wow...  I didn't realize Sterling was rated higher than KDB.  Yup some players are rated more than their real value.  Lol.  I'd buy KDB twice over than Sterling.

I dunno I don't mind losing stinky fiat.

Risking bitcoin?  feels like the pigs and chicken story and I'm the pig.

I really don't want to risk my bacon.    Smiley

It's funny...  I get reeally furious losing some BTC at gambling at sports, cards, dice, etc...  But when it comes to trading, I lose a lot more per trade but it's like nothing.  Rofl.
