Stuff he doesn't want, I might (but also in the US).

Does slush's stratum proxy work on a Pi? It's a python thing, unfortunately, and I don't know what python support there is on the Pi. Probably a lot since I imagine there's a lot of overlap in the target customers.

The DPS800 is the only PSU I've slept around that I found truly irritating. It's not as bad as an SP10's PSU.

With a few days' lead, I could build some of these of 16AWG wire in arbitrary lengths if it's something people are interested in.

First prototype of that adapter is assembled and was tested today, but it's giving me some fits and needs more work. I should have good news soon though.

The Tube controllers work alright for Tubes, but I've had very little luck running a Prisma off one reliably. And when I say "work alright" I mean there's no failover pool options and their stratum implementation is broken so it only works by default on a few pools (we've cooked up some proxies that scrub out some of the problems, but not all). The USB adapters give a lot more flexibility, as support is now built into cgminer. I've had Prismas running for a few months on USB adapters and Pis using CrazyGuy's Minera image. They're as stable as Prismas get, I reckon. If you're in need of the proper USB adapter and can't get one from AM themselves, check here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=882348.0I like Novak's adapters better than AM's stock adapters. There's probably not much functional difference though.

I had an old Thermaltake 430W that I ran a pair of 5770 GPUs off in a rig two years ago. It held up for most of a month (a very hot July month) before smoking out and I replaced it with a server PSU. I couldn't complain about it, but like the above says, it's probably going to depend on the model.

Just booked up some space, but we still have 15KW of hosting space available.
All PSUs and interface boards are fully stocked, and we just got in a shipment of wire. We make our own cables, not ordered out in bulk from China or anything, so we can do custom batches with different connectors and lengths and such.

Are there any scrypt coins that are actually used for something other than converting into BTC and/or dollars?

I will proudly belittle anyone who makes a living by ripping people off. Unfortunately these days that keeps me pretty busy, especially in America.

Because it's still fun to pick on scammers, even if they're not around to defend themselves?

Looks like it says 950W - it appears to be rated above 70A output.

Probably the ASICs are built to do math with Polish notation and the English version uses a tidbit of extra power to do the conversion.

What would you like to know? I guess a lot of things would be answered with last fall's discussion when we set up hosting at the start, found in QuiveringGibbage's Hosting Directory and Reputation thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.msg7814500#msg7814500). A few details are changed since the initial discussion - for instance, we're not charging for remote access. We have full credentialed VPN access to a /24 subnet per customer. The rate pricing as described is currently what we offer, but that'll be simplified to a flat KWh rate after the upgrade is completed and filled. There's no "discounted rate plans" or anything, where if you pay six months down you get a better rate or anything. Everyone is treated the same, everyone gets the same rate. I certainly wouldn't complain about paying in advance though, just throwing that out there. We do have a 15KW-per-customer limit, mostly because we'd rather see many small miners get the benefit of low hosting fees than one already-rich dude. We'll probably up that to 20KW or so when we get the expansion completed. The setup is open shelving, so we can take just about anything in. There's no requirement for it being a closed-box, stackable, rack-mountable what-have-you. I also have some special racks set up just for Prismas, metal-wrapped for fireproofing and suspended for good airflow around all surfaces. To date I have had zero Prismas catch fire in my setup. That probably doesn't matter a whole lot anymore what with the refunds and Prisma 2.0, but hey. It's there if anyone needs it. Any hosting customer in need of a power supply can purchase one of our server PSUs at a discounted rate. We'll probably also have discounted RPi available for machines requiring them.

I'd definitely question the strength of the leg supports. What's the empty (no miners) weight of the fully-outfitted container? Adding 114x S5 to the mix will increase the weight by a good 900lb. Have you the engineering figures on the strength of the attachments, shear strength of the bolts and drilled-out tube?
Also, is there an option to run C20 cables instead of C14? If we're looking for space density, 2KW and 2.8KW PSUs (as well as SP30 and up) require C20 cables.

Am I the only one that cringes when "lead" is used in place of "led"?
Must be those damn Litecoin evangelists messing up our pristine Wikipedia article... Oh them scrypt-lovin' bastards! Can't trust a man what his coin trades in the single digit dollars. Speaking of bastards... boy it sure would be nice if BitHashMiner sent in some photos of hashboards or some other concrete evidence. Stuff it in the face of the BGM that's out to get him. Has he realized yet that even a good fake board will probably get him some paying customers? Amateur scam is amateur.

Depends on a lot of variables - miner topology (string vs VRM vs hybrid), volt/clock setpoint and PSU efficiency to name the most significant. I'd say anywhere between 0.2 and 0.4 are possibilities.

BitHashMiner - Uranus and EMIC and such weren't deleted until then because the guys doing the deleting have lives and don't always have time to fully research a thing. Some people like to base decisions and declarations on researched facts rather than off-the-cuff conjectures. They've explained this repeatedly already.
AJRGale - I vote don't lock it because it's pretty funny. But moving it out of Hardware is probably not a bad idea. Don't want someone stumbling in and reading only the first post and thinking this is actually a good deal on real hardware that definitely does exist for real.
