5621  Economy / Lending / Re: 5 btc loan to iknowitsme - IBB - Islamic Bank of Bitcoin on: May 30, 2012, 02:55:15 PM
He was offering Australian iTunes cards in another thread.

Is the passport address in Australia? If not, that's a red flag. der_meister mentions South Africa.

Yes, country marked as ZAF. And a big sign above "Republic of South Africa".
Oh well, that's better then Republic of Nigeria anyway.
5622  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Find hostings and get, umm, bitcents on: May 29, 2012, 04:36:42 PM
Post a VPS hosting company website and get 0.02 BTC from me if it's OpenVZ/Parallels and 0.03 if it's anything else.

Unfortunately, not all hostings qualify.

1. The hosting must not be already listed at http://cheapest.prcn.co.cc/ - enter 999 0 0 0 in the filter boxes there to see all hostings currently listed.
2. The hosting must not be already posted Smiley
3. Price for a 512MB VPS must not exceed $20 or equivalent

First 3 persons to post qualified links get 0.05 BTC as a bonus.

I'm only ready to pay for 50 links (however I doubt to get more than 3).

https://www.tizzytazzy.com/vps.php

Supports BTC and the 1GB VPS is below $20 too.
Address in sig.

I don't know, disaster planning sounds better, more dramatic :p
I'd think that disaster would be like situations where GLBSE is forcibly shut down by the authorities or the datacentre is attacked by a natural disaster.  Wink

I ask that the poll be removed from the thread if possible.  Having a fake poll say "Bulanula is awesome" with a majority of "yes" votes is misleading and is an abuse of the forum.  Those who didn't see what the poll said before will be misled by it.
+1.
5627  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [605 GH] Eligius: Decentralized, 0Fee SMPPS, no reg, BTC+NMC on: May 27, 2012, 04:05:46 PM
By the way, how long do you need to be idle before what's remaining on your address (including the namecoins) are paid out? I've taken some of my rigs offline lately due to the heat here and the balance around ~0.21 coins including 5.2~ NMC are still sitting there for almost a week.
5628  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Paying 6.9% per week... small accounts welcome. on: May 27, 2012, 07:46:12 AM
hi,

i have a number of people lending to me for 6.9% per week, and thought i'd start a thread for it.

minimum deposit: 10 btc

PM for a unique deposit address

thanks

I'm interested in this too, but is this another Pirate Pass Through program?
5629  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 6.8% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: May 27, 2012, 03:37:32 AM
Do you think you'd be able to do the dividends and buying a little later some time in the future, Goat? 4-6PM makes it pretty early in the morning for everyone in North America (2-4AM PDT, 5-7AM EDT). If you did the dividend payment at 7PM Thai time, that would be in the afternoon for Europe and while it would still be early morning for North American markets at least it wouldn't be 3am. Smiley

it will be as soon as pirate wakes up and sends the funds. he is in Texas so it will be morning USA time Smiley

if you place a bid at 1.02 it will get filled, i will also have a large amount of asks at 1.03 for anyone late.

thanks
Placed a couple of my bids at 1.02.  Grin

Not until the A1BITCOINPOOL guy gets the tag removed.

I think Raize is trying to scam me.

Maged has posted an encrypted version of the address. It doesn't fucking matter, he CAN'T scam you, if you send the BTC to that address it'll be over with. Raize doesn't have to do/say/confirm anything or have anymore say at all on what happens anymore. You can prove that the encrypted version posted earlier is the same as what you paid to.

He supposedly hacked the forum or bribed some admin guy to get my work IP and a picture of my old avatar, if that means anything.

I'm considering this bullshit until I see some undeniable proof.

He is also trying to get me banned for offtopic posting but nobody will admit it or the IP leak above.

Again, bullshit until there is undeniable proof. Also all forum bans for offtopic are only temporary (a few hour/days) nobody has been permabanned for posting offtopic.

So you basically said the only reason you haven't paid the money yet is because your full of shit.

He is bullshitting. Can't anyone see that he is trying to NOT give back the money at all?

And if you didn't reach the 99 BTC point forever, everyone would lose their 1 btc right?

Hmm cablepair is raffling a $500 card for 300 btc and this is going on for months....so I thought it would be nice to raffle a $600 card for just 99 btc...

Do you have any rep so that we can trust you to not make away with the coins?

I'm active for 1.5 year in this comunity and I did not scam anyone, I thought some of you might trust me with 1 btc Embarrassed

But for now I did not get the vibe I was expecting so... maybe tomorrow.

You can see that many people were asking for a refund due to this. Wink Having an expiration date is one of the factors I need to have in a raffle before buying a ticket as if the last tix were not sold for forever I would be left holding a worthless tix. Gigavps and Matthew did that correctly.

As for the trust, don't take it personally but the way BTC works makes me require some form of trust either in rep or escrow before dealing with anyone.
5633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help! No accepted shares on: May 25, 2012, 05:56:03 PM
My computer lagged again.

It is laggy as the intensity is upped to 9, which will allow your computer to mine faster (138 as compared to the 78 mh/s). Just lower the intensity or put d when you're using the computer.  Did you let it run for like 10 minutes first?

Post :https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.5640 if there's still no share acceptance.
5634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help! No accepted shares on: May 25, 2012, 04:50:39 PM
Do you have the box where the card came with? it's important as the values for the vectors etc would be diffferent.
Use this as the running command(run via CMD) :

(path to cgminer, eg: c:/cgminer.exe) -o http://pool:port -u username -p password -I 9 -k poclbm -v 2 - w 128

and post the results. I can't give the best values as I don't know what's your card, but this should be a good guess.

If you still have difficulties setting up cgminer, you better try Phoenix and/or GUiMiner, which is much easier for the less technologically inclined.
It says this:

the '- w' is incorrectly spaced in my original post, use : (path to cgminer, eg: c:/cgminer.exe) -o http://pool:port -u username -p password -I 9 -k poclbm -v 2 -w 128

Thanks john for respecting my OP... Angry  I ask the mods to delete the offtopic posts.
you're doing it wrong.

make a topic about the details of the raffle here, and make another topic in the "games and rounds" section. Wink
Yep, this. This section wasn't mean't to be the actual game itself, as those belongs in the 'games and rounds' section. I was under the impression that this is the detail thread for the game.
5636  Economy / Gambling / Re: [RAFFLE] Asus HD7970 DCII TOP *NEW* on: May 25, 2012, 03:44:15 PM
This weekend I would like to raffle one brand new Asus 7970 DCII TOP graphics card.

To the first 99 people that post in this thread a valid bitcoin payment of 1 btc to 1QKKWXe19hDYkoHN9DwazWv5q7ULZV9ZEn

The winning number will be the postcount# that matches the first number that will be drawn by the Euro Millions lottery after this thread had 99 posts with a valid bitcoin payment address.
I will choose the drawing date within 1 day after I received 99 payments.

Because I made post #1 myself, this number is not valid for winning and if #1 is drawn I will use the first number of the next drawing of Euro Millions lottery.

Please do not post in this thread anything else then prove of your 1 bitcoin payment.

If you have any question please contact me by pm or open another thread. Thanks.

Good luck !!

.edit1 - I will pay for shipment.

Thread 1 (your mining thread) is being disabled, so you aren't mining.
It doesn't seem to be the problem. I set the intensity to 2 and still got nothing.
Set it between 9 - 11. Intensity 2 is next to no intensity.
No use. And my computer started lagging Sad

Can you post the contents of your .conf file? Also, what's your mining rig stats?

I don't know what a "mining rig" is.

Your "Mining rig" is the computer you're using to mine. He wants to know what kind of hardware you have in your computer.

What is the exact model of the ATI graphics card? Also, you have only one card, but why there's configurations for 4 cards(EG: "intensity" : "d,9,9,9",)? Why is the worksize 0? ("worksize" : "0",) There should be either 640/128/256 depending on your card. I think it's better to redo the whole conf file as there's a lot of errors, which probably caused it to stop mining.

I don't know the exact model, and...redo the conf file? How? Delete it?
Go to http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/HowtoidentifythemodelofanATIgraphicscard.aspx and see how to identify your card.
Just delete the.conf file and reinput the data. Run cgminer with the command below:

Either this if you want to overclock your card, change the I value and the gpu speed/memory accordingly: cgminer.exe -o http://pool:port -u username -p password -I 9 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 750-950 --gpu-memclock 300

Or simply this if your don't want to overclock your card and you want no lag when using: cgminer.exe -o http://pool:port -u username -p password -I d

The -I value can be changed into 8-9 when you're not using the computer for maximum mining speed, and d when you're using to prevent lag.
