5621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cost of making gambling casino? on: April 02, 2020, 11:01:29 PM
Hi guys, what is the cost of making gambling casino based on btc?
You just have to look at any traditional based casino and how much capital they started. The point of comparison is that gambling casino business involves a lot of money to begin with. So obviously when you want to start, the cost will be in the six to seven figures.

Quarantine NBA playoffs in Las Vegas? That option is being floated amid coronavirus

“Quarantine the players in July in Las Vegas and to have some form of a tournament that eventually crowns a champion,” Mannix said on the Felger and Mazz podcast on Tuesday. “It’s workable. It’s doable.”

https://www.star-telegram.com/news/nation-world/national/article241676486.html
Business has to go on, whether we like it or not. World can't just stop because of this, or victims of this virus will be nothing compared to financial crisis that will come soon, if everything stops.  Like in that meme; Improvise. Adapt.Overcome.  Cheesy
Playing without fans is far from ideal, but it is still better than nothing. Some may say owners will loose a lot of money if they play without fans, but think how much they will loose if there are no games at all? Like in trading, you have to cut your losses, and adapt to the situation. It would be good to hear what's players opinion about this, are they willing to continue? And if not, are they ready for salary cut in that case?
Right, not just because some corona shit happens, the world will simply stop. Everyone should learn how to adapt in this kind of situation. Business owners are losing big chunk of money everyday, but it is better to move forward and think of ways to get around with what is going on currently. We can't just sit here and wait till a vaccine discovered, it might take some time. So it is better that NBA games continue without the fans.
5624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Toilet Paper Token in Yobit on: April 02, 2020, 05:01:13 AM
LOL, Obviously, the people behind this project should be Yobit themselves.

And I don't know if we are going to start to take it seriously, it just come out of April Fools day, CMC has it's own version yesterday, even higher that BTC. So I wouldn't be concern though, another show from Yobit and I'm sure we all know what is going to happen it this supposedly Toilet Paper Token.

Did anyone see the news about Federer practising in the snow hitting the ball against the wall. At least he is back practising which is a good sign but like we have been saying its not the same as match fitness but that goes for all the players right now.
You should have post the link here mate.

So that's it, Federer is really looking for his comeback after that injury. Obviously, he has age, but I think he really wanted to stay sharp that's why he is slowly practicing even in snow. Yes, it is a good sign but for now everything is still on hold. Everyone is making the best of themselves to just stay fit coz God knows when we are going to see the next grand slam.

5627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Binance owns CMC! A Red alert for all the shit Exchanges! on: April 01, 2020, 05:57:14 AM
So are you concern about this those shitty exchange that's why you gave them warning?

I thought everyone here wanted coinmarketcap with the real trade volume and not ranking up those fake and shitty exchanges? I think this will bring more good in cryptosphere when Binance takes over. Coinmarketcap has the reputation to advertisement scam projects as well, I do hope that with Binance at the helm, we won't see banners of some projects that are just as shit and scammy as every other projects in the wild. So let's see how Binance will improved coinmarketcap, it people don't see any, I'm sure they will move to other options as there are a lot of coinmarketcap competitors out there.
5628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: April 01, 2020, 05:10:51 AM
I don't know about you guys, but it seems that I lost some appetite on gambling with the advent of Covid-19 pandemic as I'm just inside in the house, not getting to my favourite physical casinos because obviously we are in a lockdown.

So probably this could turn out to be good in a way, as you don't have a choice but to just stop your gambling habits because of the current situation and this break might be extend even further. So it could be one of the longest break I have.

5632  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: March 30, 2020, 01:56:13 AM
yeeah I start to appreciate internet more than before but still I think it's too early for these kinda tho'
I enjoy using internet many years ago, when internet was primitive, I can use the internet to my heart content, I can download 24/7, and my internet bills isn’t high too, but now we have mobile data in the mix, we aren’t allowed to stream as much as we like or you’re looking at a bills bomb in the end of the month, also broadband bills aren’t getting cheaper too, the entire internet is plagued with ads ware, bandwidth leeching, mining virus, many garbage data plugin pops up that will used up all your internet quote quickly.
Yeah, totally agree with that notion. The sad part, at least in my case, is that service providers here are monopolized by few privilege and you can't do anything about it. Poor service, slow internet connection and then high cost of bill. What you call leeching is what they deem as "fair usage policy".

But there are a lot of countries that are offering free internet, but I think there is a catch, you can be track anytime they want. And I guess nothing is free in this world.
5633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOT (HOLO) good to invest ?? on: March 29, 2020, 05:22:42 AM
Always DOYR, (Do Your Own Research).

There are other projects that are similar to HOLO like DagChain as far as I know, so that is not a unique ideas although there could be some difference at all. What I'm trying to put out is that usually if a project has a "copy-cat" version, usually who is the first gets more of the attention. We can even compare as well to Bluezelle, so always research first and do your due diligence before investing.
5634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Ranking Up]: From Senior to Hero Member on: March 29, 2020, 02:57:12 AM
Congratulations OP for ranking up, you seems to be very active lately, finding scammers specially the Covid-19 attacks, in which criminals are taking advantage of. Keep up the good work, and nice tip, by the way. I see some members though saying that writing guide and sharing it here is somewhat repetitive, but I believe otherwise. Those guides that you really put up can really help a lot of beginners and newbies. So keep up the good work.
5635  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 will pave the way for CBDCs on: March 28, 2020, 10:33:18 AM
Right, as @figmentofmyass has said, US is moving towards a digital dollar to combat this pandemic.

So probably we will see countries moving in this direction, China will accelerate and possible that other EU nations as well. I'm still a bit skeptical about Russia though, we all know that they want to put everything under their control. Although issuing digital + <insert local fiat here> might be also be used as surveillance measures to track everyone.
5636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 28, 2020, 10:02:38 AM
Corona virus can spread easily US needs to have more preventive measures in order to be able to cope up and lessen the potentials spread around them.
In a daily basis, the number of infected people have increase and the fact that US now become the number 1 in terms of number of cases, they should put everything in lock down, they have to deal with this virus properly as it's life of the people are at risk here.

What measures they really do? Why is it the number of cases has been skyrocketing?
Does the measure means its not effect?
Right, there has been no reported cases in China, on the contrary US has overtaken Italy on the number of people getting affected by the corona virus. Yes lockdown is a good measures, but I think there should be mandatory test on everyone in the US, specially big states like New York and Los Angeles as the virus is quickly spreading in big cities.

I don't think that we need to worry about NBA players though, yes they can be affected as well, but there body is always healthy and could get the best medicine to help them out.
5637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: convert bitcoin address to ethereum address on: March 28, 2020, 08:52:57 AM
I would not be surprised if one day I see you complain that your funds are stolen because you downloaded some file from some website. How convenient it must be for hackers that someone would actually use their work and hand their private keys.

Correct, of course right now we can say that this is a good tool to used.

However, one day we might see someone bitching around the community and say that he had lost his BTC when using some online tools that supposedly clean. Could be good if you are not playing with huge amount of BTC here, just to get how the supposedly conversion works.

But better to stay with BTC and then separate your funds with Ethereum, just saying.
5638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is LOCALTRADE.CC a SCAM? on: March 27, 2020, 11:01:03 AM
Lol, over 4 months now? It seems that this is a scam site.

I find this one: LocalTrade.pro,LocalTrade.cc scammers.

This is the supposedly Ann thread: Exchange crypto-currency LocalTrade, but it looks like it is a dead thread by now. Even the one who posted it, vanida_1, hasn't log-in for almost a year now.

Sorry to burst the bubble for you, it looks like you have been scammed. Not familiar with the legal laws pertaining to cryptocurrency in England though.
5639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Logo: #90 on Fortune's top 100 greatest designs on: March 27, 2020, 10:30:48 AM
I think it sits where it should be, BTC is fairly young as compare to those logos on the top echelon.

However, I don't think we should make a fuzz about this one, for me, its better if bitcoin should be recognized not by it's logo, but how it changes people lives, in my opinion. So I agree, this shouldn't be taken seriously, its all for the aesthetics of it.
5640  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: Website Scam on: March 27, 2020, 09:28:36 AM
Yes, the site is no longer accessible, thanks to those who have reported it.

And thanks to the OP for the warning, this will be a continues mouse-and-cat game here. If you don't investigate, and just be very very careful on anything, don't careful, check everything first, update our anti-virus software. Stay vigilant and stay safe.
