5621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: November 21, 2016, 05:29:19 AM
I am using my local wallet provider only (coins.ph), for me everything you need is in their from bank deposits to bills payment you can do it with just their app. Also it is a 2 in 1 wallet where I both have a Fiat wallet and Bitcoin wallet and can convert it interchangeably. It is useful when Bitcoin is going down and you want your money to be in your original value before you convert it back to Bitcoin.
5622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 21, 2016, 04:17:14 AM
Read some articles about it, apparently it is not only used in buying drugs but other illegal stuff too, My friends are also aware of it on the fact that when I said Bitcoin they immediately think of it as a currency for getting away from drug transactions. But yes it will help you stay away from people who are in the authority in which their job is to catch you.
5623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 21, 2016, 03:51:16 AM
My favorite Team the Minnesota Timberwolves have now a record of (4-8) and all of the 8 defeats come from poor production on the 2nd half. The lost recently from Memphis Grizzlies is a big one they have only scored 71 points , and 22 of those come from Zach Lavine, they might start thinking trade scenarios now for a veteran in exchabge for Rubio and Zach Lavine  and some first round draft picks.
5624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there new people coming to Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2016, 01:53:16 AM
It is pretty inevitable that people will come and use Bitcoin, The only problem is we don't know it because of its anonymity. People daily for sure are creating new addresses some might have more than 1 Bitcoin address in their disposal. Also about my friends as well, some of them also know what Bitcoin is, but they don't use it for any special purpose. Maybe some day they will try to have their own wallet addresses.
5625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: November 21, 2016, 01:13:03 AM
One of the biggest advantages to me is that you can store bitcoin safely without using a bank. I think in the future, the ability to send money anywhere in the world or withdraw the money anywhere in the world will be a huge benefit.
I think that it is inherent for all cryptocurrency to have their own respective wallet. They won't be called cryptocurrency if you have to go to a bank for a deposit or withdrawal. Also the point of a bank is having interest while growing it, also storing your Bitcoin while in your wallet also has price appreciation because of its volatility.
5626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: November 20, 2016, 06:04:44 PM
I what sense it is profitable. If was profitable then miner wouldn't shut down their system after july 2016 halving. There was no price rise even their block  mining reward had been cut down to half. So in my view halving is no longer profitable

No longer? Price doubled with the halving. I think on the next halving, bitcoin price can hit at lest $3000, $4000, something like 3, 4x the today price.

Less coins for mine, bigger the price... Bigger bitcoin miners control the price, that's the truth.
It is too long time to happen but for me that price you mention is too expensive and i think the price of bitcoin will not hit that price i think more possibility is $2k value or below.
Your price expectations are too high for the next halving. Why? The recent halving this year we have did not affected much of the Bitcoin price in fact it got lower down to the 500$ mark, for me the next halving will not affect the price that much, the thing that will make Bitcoin go higher is the demand of it also rising, the higher the demand the higher the price will be.
5627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 20, 2016, 05:29:13 PM
hi

i am getting addicted to gambling. And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

Any suggestions are welcome  Smiley

Regards

once I was also addicted to gambling.I lost more that 5 btc.I was so addicted and blind in gambling.I never thought of losing and I couldn't control my temper and lose all money. Then I thought I should stopped gambling and my friend suggest me to play games on PC.I am so fond of playing football.I play Games in my off time and keeping myself out of gambling.
to me it is really difficult to stay away from gambling, as i myself try for several times but cannot stop it permanently as i start gambling again and again, therefore i decided to change my strategy about gambling so i start playing gambling up to some limit and then tried my self not to cross that limit and now i me really satisfy from the gambling i play upto certain limit.
well, people are very hard to get away from gambling is because the person may have been accustomed to and have a hobby of gambling. Well, I also like it, but I feel there is no way that can be used to stay away from gambling, namely by limiting play time in every week in gambling. it may make much of a gamble in time a little bit longer
Lucky for you, you found a new interest with pc games and football, but for other gamblers it will be hard to move on as gambling is their main interest and entertainment in life. Also having your time away from gambling with other things can help, but with just spending a time once with gambling again will make you go back into it. The solution is for you to stop gambling  permanently for your own good.
5628  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: November 20, 2016, 11:37:54 AM
I will add more thought into this, as I realize if Bitcoin had mass adoption it will be good for people who use Bitcoin to buy stuff also I know the price of it will follow but not as the huge price increase it will have. On the Investor's side it will be better if Bitcoin got a huge price increase as we can sell it in a more profitable way and we know demand will also pile up after.
5629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of Banning Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2016, 09:59:16 AM
although banned in some countries I think bitcoin will still be used. because users bitcoin is anonymouse. so it is difficult to restrict the use of bitcoin. we are all free to use bitcoin, because bitcoin does not have a centralized system. we are all free to do various transactions that we want.

I can't totally agree with you dude, when government really banned bitcoin and prohibited everyone use bitcoin. You potentially cab not use it at all. Because the government have an authority to ban where the bitcoin transactions is doing, they ban that site for access in the whole of country. So may be you can not use bitcoin. The government may be also use another actions more than that.

You could still able to access  sites  which  you do  have  bitcoins  transactions by  using  VPN and Tor  websites. Even they  banned  bitcoin site  on a particular country  but still  it cant  stop totally  bitcoin  users   to access it. No matter  how  hard  the government  would implement such rules  i think  it would be  useless because   for sure   underground  transactions   would be  really made.

Hmm i think that is not bad idea to solve the problem about banning the bitcoin transactions access in country server. I ever know what is vpn and how it work from browsing on internet. That someone can fake the own IP into another country server.
May be in the transactions of bitcoin there is no affects if the government banning bitcoin when we see on server aspect.
The authority can do that but they will always be behind as Bitcoin is a virtual money, its transactions are always online, thousands of addresses to track can be a headache for them, not to mention all of the new sites related to Bitcoin it will be impossible for them to try to caught a big fish with it. I don't know why will you do such thing for a innovative currency, I guessed banning bitcoin worldwide will be impossible.
5630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 20, 2016, 04:08:46 AM
Obviously any kind of currency an be use for both good and bad. I don't know why are you asking these kinds of question. But for Bitcoin in particular it has no special features in which it can be advantageous for people who want to use it in good, But for Criminal it has features for security and anonymity. But yes it's how a person use his Bitcoin if it is good or bad.
5631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: November 20, 2016, 02:27:55 AM
Bitcoin is the only currency the price of which is rising and the currency seems promising and going to be the only future currency and it's a sort of investment and that's why I use it. Also it has low transaction fee compared to payment processors like paypal. Also bitcoin, though in small amounts or fraction of it called satoshi, is easy to earn too.
When you think of Investing it is bad to buy a "Rising" price of anything as it translates the the demand of it is also rising, the chance you got when it was 500-600 $ mark is already over. Any other accumulation of Bitcoin by Buying is a bad idea as your margin of safety is already over.  Also if you buy the current price the possibility of it going back to 500$ also has a high chance.
5632  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: November 19, 2016, 03:24:05 PM
Yes I agree with bitcoin bank, I sure with bitcoin bank make more popular and make new job opportunities. Maybe can help poor countries and save all products.

But.... What about the anonymity we're mostly looking for here? Bitcoin bank = no privacy. We already had our privacy taken by the states because they wanted to.. Now this is the only place I finally feel like home. I prefer not being known by anyone else.. A Bitcoin bank will take away the most important features Bitcoin normally has..
The Bitcoin Bank os not feasible for us citizens for any country. I know having a business especially a bank will make certain issues be raise because of the use of Bitcoin. Legalities such as privacy and taxes come to mind with that kind of business. Also Bitcoin's price appreciation is bigger than any interest rate of a bank, Bitcoin in your wallet is better off without a bank.
5633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin help your life in daily needs? on: November 19, 2016, 05:07:49 AM
For online purchase you can easily use your bitcoin on different shopping sites available on internet. On these shops you can pay directly with bitcoin but if you want to use your bitcoin in your local stores then you will need to get a bitcoin debit card and have to use it on shops which accept debit card payment and on ATM to withdraw cash and use them.

Hey? i have read your reply but how can i get a debit card? and how can i withdraw my bitcoin or cash out my bitcoin in the real world because i have spent so many bitcoin here in the internet but still i need to buy some foods because i really need them and this is the only thing that i can earn from i don't have a job yet but this time i will find one but its hard i don't have the skill but when im in the internet i can be great i love the internet but i need to find something that i can cash out my money in local store they don't really accept bitcoin i am waiting for the approval in my country that they will accept bitcoin as a payment

Waiting for local stores to accept bitcoin as payment? Then you'll be waiting for a long time. I've heard that there are companies that make bitcoin debit card but I don't know if it would be available in your country and I really think that using an actual ATM card is better. You can use any local exchange website and then cash out your bitcoin in fiat using your ATM card. It's really easy to do and it's quite fast.
its something that we can't predict yet making bitcoin for payment process in our local market but for sure if adoption will be made
from time to time those local store will acknowledge it and make their moves bitcoin will make it just needed some time.
For the guy who do not know how to convert there Fiat currency, There are Bitcoin wallets in which have options to convert your Bitcoins into Fiat for your convenience, My suggestion is look for your local wallet provider so that you can easily change your Bitcoin to Fiat as fast and easy as possible. You don't need any kind of Debit Card to cash out your Bitcoin to real money.
5634  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: November 18, 2016, 05:52:05 PM
For me much active here in bitcoin is 20 - 35 years of age but we do not have any devoce that can calculate the average age of bitcoin user and this only base in my age i am 26 now and some of my friends are 30 years old also users of bitcoin.

Yes, its possible 20-35 but i guess it on 15-40 years old. At the young age of 15, they can already understand the different way of earning bitcoins. I know lot of people using bitcoins at about 40 years old and many of them are seriously earning bitcoins. And i also know people at about 15 years old whos already using bitcoins.
But were just getting the average, we don't need any fancy or complicated device to calculate the average age of Bitcoin users, What we can do is have survey just like what they did to this thread, you can see that the results they have are accurate to what you said, and I don't think that ages of people using Bitcoin is relevant for its price appreciation.
5635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 18, 2016, 03:10:38 PM
Of course without any doubt, Trading is the best and the fastest source to obtain/earn Bitcoins besides mining and gambling, there are other ways you can earn bitcoins from too(not as fast as trading but they're riskless): PTC with good number of referrals(at least 10+), you can make a thousand bucks/month or maybe more, Freelancing gives you a really good income, something like writing blogs could give you around 30-80$/day but requires skills (A lot of skills to be able to compete with professionals) and doing Jobs, tasks, offers or surveys(doing bunch of them on different sites could give you a good chunk of money). As I said these ways are not the best to earn Bitcoin fast but they help  Cheesy.

P.S.: Forget about Faucets and No-Referrals' PTC sites, you can't make a single Bitcoin with them even in a year, they are good to kick you off in bitcoin world but completely unreliable/irreliable.
It is easier said than done. Trading right now is actually dangerous as it has reach to 747$ which is actually an improvement from last 6 months price which is around 530$, You should have thought putting all your money in when it was around that price range. Now the price of Bitcoin is High it is not guaranteed yet that it will move back to 1000$ a piece.
5636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 18, 2016, 09:26:58 AM
Yes! Of course, bitcoin can help poor country if the people are connected to internet and if they have a phone, that is enough for them to transact bitcoin. This can open doors of many unlimited opportunities and can help them to live a better live. Bitcoin can also help them to come out of poverty.

When more country already implement bitcoin, I'm sure bitcoin value will got increase at highest value that ever reach.
Sadly my goverment still not accept bitcoin meanwhile my country still category as develop country which may degreade into poor country
That's the hard part, Several develop countires already banned Bitcoin like Russia and China, which are big players in driving prices. The demand will not depend on a country's government on recognizing Bitcoin or not, But it depends on how many companies will go far to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. If many companies accept Bitcoin then it will be no problem for its price to go up.
5637  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: November 18, 2016, 09:04:34 AM
sometimes decentralization is sucks , you know what ,
you have 100% responsible on anything happened to your money ,
for example when you lost your money because hacked or any other technical problem noone will help you ,
so it is sometimes worth more than just money but sometimes horrible.

Now that is all on you, even if you have fiat and you are keeping them at home and someone robs them, who would pay you back for that? That is what the case with bitcoin, you are your own bank, you are keeping your money to yourself so if they are lost no one would be responsible but you.
Well if losing money is the topic, than I think Bitcoin can be the # 1 source of it online, it is not because of security of being hack, but more on the part of where you spend it your own. Several sites such as HYIPs and Gambling sites tends you to lose money rather than earn anything from it. Bitcoin gave us the option on spending online and we are the ones messing out own money.
5638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: November 18, 2016, 02:05:22 AM
Now my government still banned bitcoin, but at least more than 3 bitcoin forums in my country is very active talking about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Trading about mining hardware, local exchanger, some online transactions that use bitcoin also very busy. Government made illegal for bitcoin can't stop for users like me.
Here is another proof that even if the Government says Bitcoin is illegal in their country it won't stop their citizens for using it. Because even the Government would have a hard time tracking all the transactions, even finding any users of Bitcoin wallet is hard as it is online, if the government does not enforce their laws it is no use to be banning Bitcoin in their country.
5639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 17, 2016, 05:20:26 PM
Yahh bitcoins are used for ilegal things like smuggling of gold, drugs etc .but even if u do so u are doing a bad thing which is not recommended at all. So u should start doing bitcoins through this forum ..kudoos Smiley

That is certainly true, but not all of them use the bitcoin for illegal activities. Many also use bitcoin for their needs to transfer between countries so that they need not bother to exchange currency with a big enough fee. Just do something a good thing and not have to think about the negative impact when there are still many people who use the bitcoin for technological advancement. any illegal activity will definitely give you the worst thing for us, because it was so opposite of the law that is already made
We could not really tell if they are using bitcoin for illegal activities or not because it's anonymous, and whether they use it or not it does not matter as long as bitcoin's economy is progressive and the majority will be benefited.
yes that is also a fact that only those people can tell about it who personally using it for illegal activities otherwise bitcoin is anonymous and know know can know about it that either it is using for illegal activities or not, my personal vies is that it may be using for illegal activities just lke other fiat currencies like USD, EURO and some other currencies.
It is pretty obvious that anything that has value can be use at anything from buying to exchange of goods. Well anything now can be use as a currency for illegal things, and Bitcoin is the right currency for them as it made there transactions hard to find. Well we can't blame Bitcoin as well it was design to be secure for us users, the only downside is it can be use also by criminals.
5640  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2016, 02:45:28 PM
It is not right to teach bitcoin to kids because they are too young to handle money and they are more interested in playing. Being a kid is fun but its short so let them enjoy their childhood.

I am also agreeing to others that we should teach bitcoin to teens instead. Because I am one of the teens that got interested in bitcoin tho there is only one year left before I reach the the legal age.
Apparently there are also kids that do not enjoy their childhood because of the bullies, parents separation, etc. Not every kid has an enjoyable childhood and I think most of us had some bad experience in childhood. It's not all fun for some of us.

In your case, you were working through the use of bitcoin even before you finish teenage stage. There are also kids out there that has to work even though their age are far from being appropriate. Most of them work for small-scale fast food chains and gets adopted by the owner. That's often the case in my country. In other places, kids are baby sitting the child of their neighbor, mowing the lawn, etc.

What I mean here is that its also important that you introduce your kids into doing bitcoins because you don't know when are you going to die as a parent. If you did die and your kid has to work on his own, then bitcoin might be his key to support himself. I know that the kid is supposed to be adopted by the immediate relatives of the parent but that's not always the case. Consider introducing bitcoin to your kid as your back up plan for him just in case you die or get separated for some reason.
What is the relationship of kids being bullied that prevents them to learn Bitcoin? Or handling money in general? I know it is early for them to handle money in general but being bullied by someone won't stop them from learning anything. Kids have different likes in life and they are different from one another. But it is important that an early stage they know how to save money for their future.
