5621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A mobile App for MEW on: June 08, 2019, 12:04:13 AM
I don't use their app when I'm accessing my eth funds on MEW so I don't have any experience to share but I've searched that they have MEWconnect app[1].

[1] https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myetherwallet.mewconnect
[1] https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mewconnect/id1391097156

Just checked out the MEWconnect. Never knew they have a mobile wallet. It's interesting they use Two Step Verification which has been shown to be hackable. I wouldn't advise Op to store lots of fund on it
5622  Economy / Economics / Re: harmonization of fiat and crypto on: June 08, 2019, 12:01:54 AM
Cash transactions will probably be dead and not really fiat.  Fiat is simply a government controlled currency. I do not see governments handing off control of currency anytime soon. Even if major currencies like dollars becomes extinct and the government is able to control few cryptocurrencies , the cryptocurrencies definitely became the new fiat currencies.
5623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Global problems of cryptocurrency that cannot be sold by humanity on: June 07, 2019, 10:49:06 PM
Centralized exchanges do not count. They are not meant to be here in the first place.
Decentralized exchanges (not semi-decentralizrd exchanges)
are doing great.
Most of the crypto problems occur mostly on Centralized platforms.  The platforms do not represent us and our ideals
5624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: June 07, 2019, 08:41:15 PM
I think some gamblers cannot distinguish between typical  regular gambling and gambling addiction. The two are quite different in my opinion. Typical regular gamblers who are able to withdraw from gambling without any withdrawal issues are probably not addicted. Those who have difficulty withdrawing are addicted.
5625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin FS become the official Bitcoin Chain? on: June 07, 2019, 08:33:15 PM
What does the FS stand for? Google doesn't exactly say, so it makes the whole thing more confusing. Who is behind the Bitcoin FS and what exactly do they seek to achieve with it?
5626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to Reportedly Introduce Its Own Stablecoins ‘Within Two Months’ on: June 07, 2019, 07:49:50 PM
Well, if it is not a decentralized Stablecoin then regulator should step in and do whatever they what with it. It should also be transparent enough for cryptocurrency communities to monitor.
Left for me, all non-transparent Stablecoins would be totally regulated
5627  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Featured Gambling Site on: June 07, 2019, 07:40:42 PM
Bonuses (and provable fair) are kind of my favorites.
In my opinion, It'd better  to experiment before committing personal fund to gambling. Faucets is nice feature... I think my first attempted gambling then was with bitcoin from faucet.
5628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: INFOGRAPHIC: Online Slot Gaming Tips from Veteran Players on: June 07, 2019, 07:15:18 PM
I found number 4 interesting but couldn't  see the tiny texts on the image properly...may be due to the type of mobile browser I use .

My first main gambling will probably be on experimenting with bonuses
5629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 07, 2019, 04:11:57 PM
Ofcourse, it is. This shouldn't be a big deal for cryptocurrency gambling websites, considering that Anonymity is encouraged more here than non-cryptocurrency based gambling platforms.
5630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain for voting on: June 06, 2019, 11:16:33 PM
There were several news in the past about some countries introducing blockchain voting, most turned out to be false.
It'd be surprising if any government accepts public blockchain voting ... not with private blockchain nor other secretive stuff.
The technology is possible but none ever discusses it
5631  Other / Off-topic / A decentralized identity authentication system could work like this? on: June 06, 2019, 10:57:45 PM
— A person uploads multiple biometrics (fingerprint, iris for example) or any other form of identifications once.

— A random verifier verifies and hashes the data

— The hash outputs are stored on a public blockchain or in any other decentralized system

— The copies of the identities are automatically deleted rather than being stored on central servers.

— Authentication can then be done locally within the owner's computer/mobile phone.... No need uploading his identities multiple times. The unmodifiable ID documents or fingerprint (or other biometrics) are rescanned and  authenticated within users computers or phones

—  IDs will be updated once in a while to include recent changes made by the owner or to confirm they are still owned by thesame person
5632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: >>> ATTENTION: i'm lost my 3.2 bitcoins <<< New on: June 06, 2019, 10:15:06 PM
The website is down according to https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/cryptoesto.com.html
I wanted to know how long it's been down but didn't see that information. That probably shows that it is a fake site created to scam people.
Sorry to say this but you need to ask your friend some questions. You should invite the police if possible.  3 bitcoin is alot my friend.  Don't let this go away just like that.
5633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STEEM will rise again on: June 06, 2019, 10:01:42 PM
Has Dan Larimer given up on creating a Steemit on EOS. If he does, Steem is finished. Traffic is already decreasing in anticipation. I don't think this coin has a bright future, Steemit has been mismanaged and it's hard to fix what's broken.

Guess  he will bring the few things he has learned from steemit over to the new one he is currently building on EOS. Seems one of the most important lesson he probably has learned is the issue of trolls and bots.

Steemit has done pretty well. If it were possible, he should merge it with the new one on EOS blockchain.
5634  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: June 06, 2019, 09:47:31 PM
It's unlikely that terrorists (the ideological ones atleast) would be interested in peoples identities. They tend to target a specific people to kill, victimize or used as ransom and not just some random people with no value to them. However, scammers and  robbers could be very interested in this.  They could easily use it to target wealthy/important people for identity theft, kidnapping,  armrobbery, blackmail etc..
5635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges for newbies. Does it exist? on: June 06, 2019, 09:33:38 PM
The best exchange for newbies right now is exchanges with demo trading. The feature allows  newbies to experiment with trading as much as they want without risking real money.  There are couple of exchanges with the feature... Try searching them on Google.
5636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What was it like switching from crypto-currency exchanges to FOREX? on: June 06, 2019, 06:14:07 PM
I think it is best to just focus on one market and that market in my opinion is cryptocurrency . Forex trading is not a friend of regular people. It's profit is relatively small and it is a bit more technical than cryptocurrency trading
5637  Economy / Gambling / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] Dice Duels! Play against other players! - BTCDice.games on: June 06, 2019, 05:49:24 PM
Looks interesting.  Guess you'll need lots of gamblers for a peer-to-peer gambling to be successful and profitable. I don't know much about this things though ... they sound fun anyway.
Wish you all the best.
5638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Vote] Next coin to be added to Stake.com & Primedice on: June 06, 2019, 05:21:41 PM
I guess Stablecoin should be the next one considering that you already have the volatile cryptocurrencies. No need having multiple currencies with similar features.  Apart from transaction speed and fees what else is different about the other cryptocurrencies compared to bitcoin?
5639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Room on: June 06, 2019, 04:42:09 PM
Looks like a good Tradeview alternative. If they don't require people to deposit bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies then I will give it a try. Social/copy trading would be another good features on the website if not available.
5640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LA TOKEN IS A SCAM EXCHANGE BEWARE OF THEM on: June 05, 2019, 09:54:38 PM
Did they return back the coins to you? You probably should paste their Telegram response here so we can understand the issue better.

I did a Google search on the exchange, expecting to see some scam accusations, but didn't see any.

Seems the creator of the exchange Announcement thread have negative feedbacks: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2168552.0

You should try contacting them there
