I was promised like 250k by McAfee in BTC value.

When's the price gonna skyrocket like the last 8 times? Tell me plz time travelers.

John McAfee is someone who will promote your ICO (without any sort of background check), in exchange for a monetary payment. He charges $110,000 for a single tweet promoting the ICO from his Twitter account (which is having more than a million followers). And to date, he has promoted dozens of ICOs and pocketed millions of USD in cash. And you expect this guy to make you rich?

Rugby and T20 cricket should be including in the next Olympics but my doubt is that in Olympics you cannot include players who are doing professional sports playing in other cricketing leagues around the world but it is a good thing to see more sports being included in the Olympics.

Rugby is already there. Rugby sevens featured as one of the items during the 2016 Olympics (after a long hiatus) and it will be one of the items for the next Olympics (2020 Tokyo) as well. Sometimes I feel jealous about the rugby fans. They got a global body (World Rugby) which actually cares about the popularity of the sport, unlike the case with cricket where we have a bunch of greedy selfish clowns in the ICC.

West Indies do not earn a lot from the ICC and this was confirmed many years back, and many of their players had revolted against their board as WI players were being paid peanuts. I don’t think WI players are wrong to snub international cricket for T20 leagues, because they’ll never get huge amounts of money while playing for their nation. Also it’s pertinent to note that WI players economical situation is not that good, hence before criticising them look at their economic situation to understand why they choose to play in T20 leagues to earn more.

On average, the WICB gets around $12 million per year from the ICC (as per the revised financial model for 2015-2023). I am not sure how much of that amount ends up at the hands of the international players. But even if we take a liberal estimate, it will be much lower than what they get from the two-month long Indian Premier League competition.

Sourav Ganguly first gig turning out to be good for Test cricket so far, he left no stone unturned for this. Inviting Bangladesh's Hon. PM Sheikh Hasina along with first test team of Bangladesh. i really hope after this he will take care of spectators concerns regarding stadium facilities etc.
So BCCI is inaugurating the day night Test match with a bang and there is a reason for that, if the match could attract the audience interest which they are looking for and it will become a grand success in the grant scheme of things then we might see day night matches quite often and their main focal point will be TRP rating and stadium audience.

The day/night test match is attracting a lot of interest, because it is a new concept. But they won't be able to retain this interest, if the matches turn out to be one-sided. And with the current condition of Bangladesh, I am not expecting anything extra-ordinary from them. It will be a miracle, if the match lasts for more than three days.
5625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: November 20, 2019, 05:21:41 PM
Here in India, cigarettes cost around $0.25 per piece or $3.00 per pack. So at the most, you may spend a few hundred USD on cigarettes if you have an addiction. In all probability, the financial damage may be insignificant. On the other hand, gambling addiction can cause your financial ruin in a matter of few hours and you may never be able to recover from it.
5626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019 on: November 20, 2019, 05:10:13 PM
The main reason is the saturation of tournaments and leagues around the world, IPL started this frenzy and India is a cricket crazy nation and you will find audience for majority of the sporting events and if there are more leagues and if you expect audience to turn out for every match then you might get disappointing, and may be these countries are trying to come up with T20 leagues to replicate the football leagues around the world Cheesy.

Actually it was Subhash Chandra of the Essel Group who came up with the idea of franchise based T20 league in India. He came up with the Indian Cricket League in 2007, despite stiff opposition by the N Srinivasan led BCCI. However when the invention became a successful one, the BCCI stole his idea and came up with their own league (the Indian Premier League).
5627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 20, 2019, 05:04:27 PM
So are you telling that they are not making any revenue on their own and all the funds they are getting are from the ICC which is strange, there is no point in restricting the players in playing different leagues to make money but there should be available to play in major series, the main players can rest against small teams but when they are playing top ranked teams i think they will have their full strength squad.

I am not sure how much they make from broadcasting and sponsorship deals, but my suspicion is that it is not a large amount. Even if the amount is large, they will struggle to match the offers being made by various T20 sides. I can give you a few examples. Carlos Brathwaite was mopped up by the Kolkata Knight Riders for a whooping ₹50,000,000 ($700,000). Kieron Pollard is being paid ₹54,000,000 ($800,000). Do you really think that the WICB can afford to pay them this much?

Right now New Zealand is not good against Australia and England in test matches even they are playing at home because their bowling is not good enough for test matches even batting can give them some advantage and England is very balances side for test matches this is going to be interesting series I am feeling England can win this.

You may disagree with me, but in my opinion the New Zealand team is having two of the best bowlers in the world right now - Lockie Ferguson and Trent Boult. Both these bowlers can destroy any batting lineup, given that they are on top form. But consistency have been a problem with the Kiwi pacers. And they don't have a large player pool like India and Australia.

This is really ridiculous. How can surfing and sport climbing be Olympic sports? They are making a mockery of the Olympics. I even heard that there were demands for computer gaming and break-dancing to be included in the Olympics. I don't know what they are going to achieve with any of this. On the other hand, I would like cricket to be included in the Olympics.

Guess West Indies took Afghanistan too much lightly after the 1st T-20 win. A good comeback display from Afghanistan here. I think WI board hardly has any interest to fulfill the needs of the Old players. That's why most of them are preferring to play in other leagues rather to play for national side. Darren Bravo is a much of a ODI player I guess...

There is not much that the board can do (WICB). Their financials are very limited and they can't splurge all of the funds that come from the ICC on the international players. If they do that, then the domestic cricket will suffer and it will create problems in the future. They need to allow players such as Russell and Pooran to play the T20 leagues and cut a deal with them so that they will be available for the world cup.

I was never really a big fan of tests to begin with though I do know there is a certain section of Cricket fans who love it. Also, proper technique is a requirement in all formats.
It hard to be a fan of Test matches unless it is the Ashes, the rest of the matches are boring to be frank but i will not miss the Ashes as we have seen some of the best Test match cricket during that tournament in recent memories, if you are having good hand eye coordination and power you can go a long way in the shorter formats and you really do not need that much technique Wink.

This time the Ashes was very interesting for a number of reasons. First of all a lot of controversy surrounded the England team (and specifically on Ben Stokes), after their scandalous win during the 2019 CWC. And secondly, it was sort of comeback series for Steve Smith, after missing more than a year as a result of the ICC ban. In the end, it turned out to be a direct two-way fight between Smith and Stokes.
5632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best altcoin which gives 2x profit in 1year on: November 19, 2019, 04:58:05 PM
please suggest me some best altcoins that can easily give 2x profit if I hold them 1-year.

There is no coin which can give you guaranteed returns. But if you are willing to take some risk, then I would recommend Ethereum. The Ether 2.0 rollback is due in a few months from now and if it is successful then there are chances that the exchange rates will spike considerably. But as I said earlier, there is no guarantee. If it flops, then you may incur heavy losses.

Just three more days to go for the first D/N test match in India and looks like the Indian fans are quite excited about it (despite the very one-sided outcome from the first test). This is going to be new for both the teams and Bangladesh will be hoping to take advantage out of it. And once again, toss is going to be extremely important for the match.
5634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019 on: November 19, 2019, 04:46:11 PM
Match between Bangla Tigers and Team Abu Dhabi ongoing right now. I thought that BT would make 150 plus, but a miserly spell by Ben Laughlin wrecked their innings (2-0-12-2). West Indian players are dominating this match as well, with Andre Fletcher getting to a quick-fire 42 from just 16 balls. Earlier it was the turn of Nicholas Pooran, who scored 56 from 25 for the Northern Warriors.
5635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 16, 2019, 04:02:51 PM
What you think about West indies status now because they are in 26/1 in 6 overs and they need 119 runs from 85 balls, still 9 wickets in hand so there is any chance Afghanistan can win this match?

Required run rate is close to 10 runs per over and West Indies have lost two wickets (the last one to a very bad umpiring decision). The Afghan spinners are really strangling West Indies and they are struggling at 40/2 after 8.3 overs. But it is too early to write them off. They have players such as Evin Lewis and Kieron Pollard, who can change the course of the match in just one over.
5636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one makes sense on: November 16, 2019, 07:32:09 AM
To be honest, I no longer join in campaigns that just start and have not yet made any money so I prefer campaigns that already reached its softcap. I am becoming more practical due to the many scams or fake projects I have participated in before but of course, I still investigate the project before joining so I won't regret it at the end of the campaign.

Even if a project reaches the soft-cap, there is no guarantee that it will be successful at the market. A lot will depend on whether the team is honoring the previously agreed timelines or not. If the team gets inactive after the ICO, then it will start losing its value at the exchanges and eventually the trade volume will drop and it will get delisted.
5637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 06:58:18 AM
I have taken the backups of my Bitcoin wallet, but I haven't shared them with anyone. No one in my family understands the concept of cryptocurrency and there is no one among my friend circle whom I could trust 100%. I guess it is better to keep it that way. If I share my backup with someone, then there is always a chance that my wallet will get hacked and coins will get stolen.

@Sithara007 I don’t think we will ever see a mixed gender match between any country, as there’s lots of things that can go horribly wrong in planning such a match. To give you’ll an example if in the heat of the moment a male player, pushes or abuses a female player for missing a catch then the very next day he would be called a racist and be portrayed as a villain. Also think of the injuries those females could get when they’ll be facing 140 or 150 kmph deliveries bowled at them.

Let's just keep politics out of cricket. When we mix politics with sports, it doesn't always gives the best outcome. Female empowerment is good... but cricket is not the domain where this should be implemented. BTW, I am glad with the growth in women's cricket. I heard that they are planning for a league similar to the IPL in India. Perhaps they should concentrate on that, rather than going for the mixed gender matches.

This moral policing by PayPal needs to stop.
Even tho I agree with you, I recognize that it's paypal's right to do whatever they want as far as the moral crusading goes.  Remember, they were owned by ebay up until recently and just look at how many categories of items can't be sold there.  I'm pretty sure paypal's culture is still the same as ebay's, and they're still being as 'family friendly' as they possibly can.

O_e_l_e_o is correct, porn is big business and is almost integral to human nature, and as far as i know pornhub's porn is all legal stuff, and as vishnu.reang said they pay their taxes and are a legitimate business.  It's just that paypal doesn't want to be associated with porn.  That's their call, but it does show how much of a problem it can be with businesses like paypal when it comes to 'vice' purchases.

I am not sure whether PayPal can reject Pornhub. When bakers Aaron and Melissa Klein refused to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple, the courts fined them $135,000 and issued a gag order on them. According to the court, the bakers didn't had the right to refuse their service to anyone. The same should be applicable to PayPal, right? Or do they have different set of laws for different people?
5640  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: November 16, 2019, 06:32:11 AM
With that said. It is a proof that submitting KYC should depend on the website that you are using. KYC is helpful even though you are not exceeding 2 bitcoin per day in withdrawal because it will make your account more secure since you have a proof of ownership to your account because of the identification documents.

KYC is not going to make your account any more secure that it already is. Your account is linked to your email and mobile phone number, and as long as you control these accounts your exchange account will remain secure. I don't think that sending your ID documents to unknown people will help in increasing the security level of your account.
