Sorry, what I meant was I'd like to make a list of threads that discuss Vanity Wallets. I've found some old threads. Even better, let me know when I can add it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I've got a proto W.I.P. [List] Vanity Wallet Generation - threads, how to & links over yonder: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5151346.0 [ Archive] It's in the Development & Technical Discussion section, but I can move it to Meta or else where if there's a better fit? (Almost all the threads mentioned are in that section)

W.I.P. [List] Vanity Wallet Generation - threads, how to & links
[ Downloads] | [ How To's] | [ Discussion Threads] | [ External Links] This is a thread to list the various vanity wallet generation threads with links on how to and downloads of various programs. First off you'll need a really really good quantum computer PC graphics card, or the PC's CPU depending on what you want to do.

*edit* this may not be the current version.
Current version: 0.22Windows x86+x64 binaries here. PGP signature hereGet the source from GitHub. Includes Makefiles for Linux and Mac OS X. What are the other methods of generating vanity addresses? The original method of generating vanity addresses is a patch to the official bitcoin client created by Gavin Andresen. Details can be found here. Forum user Nyhm created an in-browser vanity address generator. There is a new vanity address generator for Android. - (Life Boat) OgNasty?
[ Downloads] | [ How To's] | [ Discussion Threads] | [ External Links] How do I import the private key into bitcoin? If you wish to spend coins received on a vanity address created by vanitygen, you must import the private key into a bitcoin client. There are two popular methods of doing this with the standard Satoshi bitcoin client: Use the importprivkey command. To do this, select Help -> Debug Window, and in the window, on the bottom line, enter importprivkey <privatekey>, e.g. importprivkey 5J4XJRyLVgzbXEgh8VNi4qovLzxRftzMd8a18KkdXv4EqAwX3tS Jackjack's pywallet script is an all-in-one tool that directly modifies the wallet.dat file. This works with a normal, unpatched bitcoin client, but does require Python with the bsddb package.

Is anyone in communication with @ Lutpin? I sent him a PM a couple of days ago about the donation funds that he's in control of from the previous thread - he's been online a couple of times since [ 1] & [ 2], but hasn't responded. Well, I could try sending them a message on telegram. It's been a long time since I've communicated with them and not sure if they're continuing to use the same ID. However, I'll give it a shot. Also, I doubt there are any funds in the new address posted in this thread. Which address you're talking about? AFAIK, Mex was taking care of funds from the last thread and not Lutpin. In this post [ Archive] mexxer-2 states that Lutpin manages the wallet address 1KnownF41AXkhgry3wNTHJ7NZM6jo1KohySee also this post [ Archive] and the couple of posts either side of it.

Am just skimming through some threads I've been meaning to read over the last week or two.
I'm seeing "no longer Trusts" or "Trusts" or even "distrust" (perish the though) has anyone suggested colour coding? Trust shows green / distrust shows red / no longer trusts becomes eg orange? / No longer distrusts is shown as white? (Or would that be too confusing compared to the actual trust wall Vs Trust Settings?

Sorry, what I meant was I'd like to make a list of threads that discuss Vanity Wallets. I've found some old threads.
I could add a basic set of command examples and links to the handful of exe's as well. Would be interested to hear what others would do differently.

I voted "maybe" as I believe the way the trust wall is being used nowadays it is a more black or white in so far as you either Trust someone, want to make a statement about that person in a neutral fashion (eg this account is for sale), or, you distrust that person. Different people here have different interpretations as to what to call the " trust settings" feature when you go into what I call the Trust Wall.

Full post archived for future reference: Unfortunately it means that the NZDT traded on Cryptopia is part of the Cryptopia Ltd debts or funds owning.
So it is relevant then? You do, by your own words admit that?
