5641  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Want to use wasabi wallet to coinjoin or mixers are better on: February 05, 2021, 02:44:33 PM
...
Thanks for the answer, it is pretty now clear not to use wasabi for this, using a mixer will be better. The best is to never use wasabi wallet with custodial exchanges, there was a report I hear recently about this too that got me confused but now know to better use mixers.
5642  Economy / Service Discussion / Want to use wasabi wallet to coinjoin or mixers are better on: February 05, 2021, 02:24:12 PM
For privacy reasons I want to use wasabi wallet to cojoin, but I am still having doubt about it, I believe good members will be able to give me genuine answer to this.

Normally, I make use of exchange like binance to trade, I am thinking of moving my bitcoin on binance to my wazaybi wallet first and conjoin it into my electrum wallet. But, I will later still decide to send the bitcoin back to binance, trade, and still send back to wallet.

I am hearing that it is possible that if I coinjoin bitcoin transaction(s) that all those custodial exchanges can possibly freeze my account, is this true? Or I should use mixer instead.
5643  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance trip about using a VPN? on: February 05, 2021, 02:17:59 PM
Binance is the most trusted site in crypto from other exchange sites
Let us just make it 'binance is one of the most trusted exch he site. But let us remember that not our key not our coin.

But before using VPN you have to check which VPN you are running there are many VPNs that have access to the site.
Using VPN that connects to the IP of binance supporting countries should not give a problem while binance is supported by many countries.
5644  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just like I remembered on: February 05, 2021, 09:41:09 AM
I didn't mean any technical changes. I randomly read some threads and I get exactly the same vibe.

It's like when you come back home after being overseas for a year and it's still home; Even if they fixed that leaky tap in the bathroom.
If you contribute to your home there would be changes (but not bitcointalk in the regard because there are so many active users), but there can be many changes that might have taken place but not revealed so fast because you are far from home. Which just mean you have only just still visited not quite long but you are still far from home because there are many changes that took place but never seen that because you do not take time to check.

I went into your profile recently on bpip, you are not an active member, you have not been giving merit before, you have not also sent merit before even from the hero membership pregenerated ones. There are many posts that if you read, you will merit them, but because you do not read these posts and you do not contribute to this forum makes you not to know there are a lot of changes in the way people are posting. When the merit system began, you stopped posting and not active again since 2017 October, and only posted ones in 2019 before posting two times today. Likely you may still remain not active.

Check the forum very well and compare it to 2017 and see differences.
5645  Other / Meta / How can I check traffic on this forum on: February 03, 2021, 10:19:32 PM
I want to know if accessible to members of this great forum about the total number of people that visit this forum, daily weekly and monthly, both members and anonymous users. I also want to know if I can access each boards, each topics to know how many people have visited during a particular period.
5646  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin's price drop to 30K healthy? on: February 03, 2021, 08:47:06 PM
When people buy at ATH, they usually hold it till next ATH.  next ATH.
I too have great believe about bitcoin to be a deflationary currency but the price thing do not work the way you think.after all time high, anything can happen, and what will most likely happen is decrease of bitcoin price which is called correction, correction makes price movement healthy, and after long period again, the price of bitcoin will increase than the all time high, but it can take time for this while some wiser people will make stable coin as their safe haven during bitcoin price decrease and wait for the next pump.
5647  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: February 03, 2021, 08:42:05 PM
Bitcoin was structured as alternative decentralized currency, it became real currency over time by people's acceptance. So it is all all about how and what people consider. If millions accept bitcoin (or other cryptocurrencies) while trading, then it is currency.
Money and currency are not the same, money has value while currency is just a physical representation of money. The value in money is the worth, bitcoin has the value, which means bitcoin is money. Gold, silver, fiat and anything that has value that amounts to a means of exchange and spendable are money. Bitcoin is just a typical example of money but in digital form.
5648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 03, 2021, 08:15:08 PM
One of my favorite clubs Brighton & Hove Albion won today, they have good team in my opinion while Man City has widen the gap between them and Man United.

I'm looking for Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion game, let's see if Brighton show a good performance again. They have 3 wins and 1 draw in last 4 games. They destroyed Tottenham mentally and physically just 3 days ago.
Though anything can happen in matches but the favour will most likely be for Liverpool, let Brighton & Hove Albion just see this as a loss, they are away while Liverpool at home, that is another added advantage.
5649  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which website/Platform you are using for trading? on: February 03, 2021, 08:07:41 PM
Apart from Binance, Bitstamp also recommended...
I have never used Bitstamp, I am an active user on Binance but some trader friends suggest I use this when trading because the site runs smoothly.
I disliked binance before when I knew the exchange has been hacked before in late 2019, but I noticed the exchanges I have used before are nothing compared to binance, their security is tighten now. The exchange (binance) will be recommended because of the high trading volume of over $40 billion. It is the exchange with the highest trading volume, and the first ranked among all while the second is huobi global but due to kyc issue, I have never used huobi global before.

Binance also has 1% trading volume.
0.0005 btc for bitcoin withdrawal, high but yet one of the lowest among exchanges.
They have very low withdrawal fee for altcoins.
5650  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KAKEN IS DOWN AGAIN... on: February 03, 2021, 07:58:30 PM
Kraken is a good exchange, it’s highly trustworthy. So they have a bit or downtime, it’s better now than when we come to the peak of the bull run. I’m sure they’ll put measures in place to ensure it doesn’t continue to happen.
Life is meant to be easy, if kraken is down and repeating, I think the best option is to get a better exchange like binance which do not go down like such exchanges. I know kraken is a good and reputed exchange in term of reputation but what about the service they are providing, if they continue line this, getting a better exchange will be appropriate for active traders, esle it might lead to disappointing moments of great loss if they can not trade or place order at critical moments.
5651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many of you use "Crypto Prediction Applications" for trading? on: February 03, 2021, 06:58:16 PM
Crypto Prediction Applications is more like a BOT or EA this will not or cannot give accurate signal for crypto trading, it is the combination of lagging indicators that might likely give a false signal for a buy whereas the price is already changing trend for a sell. the best bet is to do away with those apps and study your chart, analyze your charts after-all there are many resources for learning how to trade cryptos with charts on the internet, do your own research and come up with your own trading strategy.
The success in trading is when a trader can be able to be patient and disciplined in a way he can fully learn and understand about trading, starting little with very low amount he can lose and never be affected to continue learning and having experience. Just like you commented, using prediction app is just the beginning of failure for an inexperienced traders.
5652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football betting (betting at the start of the season or later?) on: February 03, 2021, 06:33:02 PM
I don't gamble to just win and earn money, I gamble to enjoy the games while making money out of it.
I too gamble just for fun, to enjoy the weekends but I do notice one thing, that anytime I gamble, I prefer to always win. Even if I and friends are playing games for fun, I do not like to lose. In anything I do, I like to always win. I use low amount of money for gambling that can not have any effect on me if I lose, but I am still always unhappy if I lose, I always like to win and bet only at the time I believe I have the best chances to win.
5653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faketoshi: back at it again with more false evidence on: February 03, 2021, 04:44:47 PM
If Satoshi will disclose his identity, the first place to make this real and proven not to be a lie is the use of this forum, he has an account on this forum that he can use. Anyone claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto from any other social media without coming here posting with Satoshi's account, those people are just liars, they are faketoshi.
5654  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance trip about using a VPN? on: February 03, 2021, 11:15:18 AM
...
I think you need to read the quote below. I use VPN on binance app and it worked, what many exchanges will disable, which means you will not be able to access with VPN on such VPN-disabled exchanges like HitBtc. I use trading app often, I do not know about their websites.

I do not think they have any terms about VPN, Just checked their terms page and nothing is there. A Google search led me to this article which is explaining how to use VPN if you are in USA to bypass US IP.

So considering above studies, I think there are no VPN hassle with Binance.
5655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Latest: I Am Not Craig Steven Wright. (CSW v SNW) on: February 03, 2021, 09:27:56 AM
Satoshi Nakamoto Latest: I Am Not Craig Steven Wright - I am Stephen Nouriel Wright. Stephen Nouriel Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto's another name. WHO IS WHO ? AND WHO IS NOUR OR STEPHEN NOURIEL WRIGHT ?  CSW versus SNW. Coming soon to explain the Riddle of the Twin Brothers in Vlad2Vlad bitcointalk forum ID.
Who is Stephen Nouriel Wright ? Is he James Bilal Caan or Satoshi Nakamoto ? Or He is Gavin Andresen  ?
There is no such news around, it will have to be a breaking news that no one will miss on crypto news sites. Which means you are carrying a fake news around. When Satoshi did not reveal himself, when stressing yourselves about who Satoshi Nakamoto is. It can be he/she/they but he does not want his identity to be disclosed, let us better leave it like that. If Satoshi will disclose about his identity, it will first be on this forum.
5656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an investment on: February 03, 2021, 09:24:11 AM
The people who still think bitcoin are scams, of course they don't keep up with technological developments. Bitcoin is the most valuable digital currency asset today. Many companies and agencies started buying bitcoin until the price hit a new ATH of over $ 40k per Bitcoin. Bitcoin can be developed and used by any project and anywhere that can be profitable or detrimental with many scam projects. Actually it is not bitcoin that is said to be a scam, but a project run by a scammer who is considered a scam. Bitcoin is just a tool for a project.
About the issue of scam, even bitcoin is not linked to most of the scam, most are linked to ICO, IEO, DeFi projects, blockchain attacks, dApps, classic exit scam and many phishing attempts that led to crypto loss. Many of these and many more and not linked to bitcoin. Bitcoin is not ponzi, it has strong and unbreakable blockchain with open source codes and decentralized design. Nothing alike scam about bitcoin, it is legit and fully legit.
5657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 03, 2021, 09:12:04 AM
those red card in early game may change the tactics and southampton gameplan here. if alex jankewitz not receive a red card on early game the result might be different.
If no red card for Southampton, the game will surely be different and difficult for Man United to win, but likely Man United may still win also. But I do not see any bias in the game while Alexandre Jankewitz collected red card at 2 minutes after the match started and followed by Jan Bednarek in the 86th minutes. If that is the case, this should not be considered as a reason for not to win the game. The match was won because Man United was so tough on Southampton.
5658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help me understand stop limit on: February 03, 2021, 08:30:45 AM
Be careful with using little amount of money, because there could be a possibility that you'll be tempted to top up for huge amount if you see bigger potential. Learning is a process, so in doing stop limit quick decision could be very stressful if not managed very well. Emotion control should definitely follow before anything else.
What are you driving at, you can just make further comment for your reply not correcting me. All I meant was that little amount of money can be used for practice and learning about stop loss. I made the comment that way because the OP board only ask for help about stop loss, not about how to trade. Normally little amount of money should be used for learning while discipline should be learned to overcome emotions in trading, but this is not what the topic is all about, it is about stop loss.
5659  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance trip about using a VPN? on: February 03, 2021, 08:23:02 AM
Pretty much the same with your reasoning from your previous reply— for both privacy and security. I just don't like my local ISP to be unnecessarily snooping on my online activity.
You are right, but most exchanges used are centralized, they have terms of service. VPN usage may not be allowed, like on HitBtc, VPN is not allowed, I am not certain about this 100%, but if I am using their app to trade, loading it on VPN will not work. But for privacy, better using VPN but this can only be effective in very few exchanges but on noncustodial wallets.
